Just once I would like the write a story, and finish it... Beyond my og stories darn it! Being a perfectionist sucks.
Kagami felt something, a stirring in the air as he tried to sleep. He rushed out of his apartment, confused, and he saw and felt dozens of ninja shooting across the village. Something in his heart tightened, and he rushed off, looking for Naruto. "What did you do this time, Naruto?" He felt him, his brother, like a strange pull on his chest, on his soul, leading him onward. He managed to reach a forest on the east side of the village, just in time...
Naruto was standing, with a massive scroll atop his back, looking worn and confused. Iruka was pinned to a building by kunai, and Mizuki was standing atop a tree branch, and the words oozing out of his cruel mouth changed everything.
"The Ninetailed Fox is inside you, and your brother. The Yin in him, the Yang in you. You two are the Nine Tailed Fox, reborn!"
Kagami froze, unable to move, he watched as the world melted away. The sound faded. His brother shot off, and the others followed, never noticing him. He wanted to scream. "We are... the fox... why... did they,... Why did they never tell US!"
Somehow that thought, that anger, filled him so much power it shattered the freeze on his muscles. He shot after them all, until he saw a thousand Naruto's beating Mizuki into the dirt. It was only when they finished, when Naruto was hugging Iruka who allowed him to graduate, that Kagami walked over to Mizuki, pulled out a Kunai... and slit his throat.
Blood splattered Naruto and Iruka, who turned with shock. "Why would you do that?" Iruka barked out.
Kagami, hot and angry, growled out. " How could you allow them to abuse us, to hate us. Saving my brother at that last second does not negate your neglect. You all deserve this, especially the Third who has the power to save us but chose to do nothing." They both cringed, Naruto and Iruka but Kagami was not done. "Gods this place is a hellhole, a hypocritical garbage dump." He felt and saw orange chakra covering his body, the Fox's power no doubt...
Only a deep, angry voice echoed in his heart. " Do not flee the village yet, you are not strong enough to live on your own. Come to me." And like that, he fainted, falling to the ground and deep into his own mind.
He awoke, seeing a giant orange fox, angry and powerful, looking at him from inside of a cage. "Kyuubi?"
"Yes... I have watched, for your entire life, as you suffered. However unlike your brother your heart seeks vengeance, powerful and freedom. For that reason, and so many others, I will help you."
Kagami nodded. "Please, please do... where do we start?"
"You must master many skills and my power. There is a being, a masked man, that forced me to attack. He must be stopped, he is your biggest threat... you must stop him."
"You must hide most of your loathing, less you be imprisoned for being a threat to the village. Keep your pacing and only depart when it is time. Now go... awaken and remember, I am with you."
He felt the anchoring chakra release and he flew away, back to the seat of conciousness.
"The strain of using the Fox's power must have just been too much." He heard The worthless Hokage say, his voice appearing with the reek of the hospital.
Kagami sighed, and sat up, awake all at once. "Why?"
The man cringed. " Why what?"
"Why lie, why hide it, why allow us to be abused? Do not say you could do nothing, you are Hokage you are not that weak!"
The man sighed. "... I have no answers for you, none that will comfort you."
"Maybe it was just that you are that weak?" He growled. "You shame the title of Hokage." Hiruzen actually cringed, his whole body stumbling back. "You have no business holding that title. I will ignore that, entirely, however. I am no fool, my power and the Fox's would be sought out by countless others. I will be loyal, as long as your village gives me reason. If not, I will happily remove the seal."
Hiruzen's eyes widened, before slumping realizing he was in a corner. "What do you want?"
"I want to be on my own team, with a real sensei, nothing like the morons you assigned the Academy. A real ninja, male or female I don't care. I will be allowed into ANBU at some point. I have no desire to be popular just powerful. If those demands are met, I won't snap the seal."
"Fine... "
"Good. now, if that is all... I will be going home."
And so he did, ignoring the sad gaze of the worthless Hokage staring after him...

"He will become a real threat one day, one of our own creation..." The Old man said. "I cannot assign Tenzo to him, I do not trust his power to seal up the Fox's powers. And Jiriaya is barely there enough to watch over one boy, let alone two... no... I have only one option, if Naruto is to be on Kakashi's team..."
And so Hiruzen marched to the tower, to make changes to the teams and get things started...
He could only hope this worked...
