A/N: Posted to get it down off my phone.
Since my phone wants to be a twat with Doc right now.
Alternate Universe. Clearly.— Wanted to give this shit a try.
VideoGame/ RealWorldcrossover type story.
No relation between Naruto and Minato in this story or Sasuke and Madara.
Just to clear that up. That's it. Enjoy.
Or not.
GAME Set GLITCH
The blubbering man's heart had stopped beating from the intense torture. Sweat coated them from head to toe, piss and blood pooled at their tied feet, mangled flesh previously peeled barely hanging onto their slack limbs. It wasn't a usual sight for many but for the group of black suited men in the dimly lit warehouse it was a part of their daily life thanks to their profession. The bloodied dead man seated in the center of the room was someone their boss had personally seen the slow demise of. Their boss was a force to be reckoned with and upheld the most respect from his men and rivals alike. Their long black hair pulled up into a tasteful high ponytail that took nothing away from the sharp well designed three piece crimson and ebony suit they had on.
"Fix his head." commanded a deep voice.
"Right away, Mr. Grim." One of the suited men yanked the dead man's head upward so it was no longer hanging slack to the side but facing their boss who stood directly in front of the chair.
"Is it ready?"
"Yes, Madara." Answered another man in a matching suit to the previous man.
"You ain't taking the cowardly way out, now are you?" Madara motioned for someone to pass him the defibrillator and as he waited for the guy's shirt to be torn open he removed the outer jacket of his suit and pushed up the crisp sleeves of his dress shirt. One of his suited men passed the defibrillator over. He rubbed the two handheld parts together and promptly slammed it onto the guy's chest. The shocking current jolted the body back to life. He tossed the device away and fisted the man's hair forcing their eyes to focus on him once more. "And now you know why they call me Mr. Grim." Madara's smile was nearly lethal seeing the utter terror on the other's face. "Feel like sharing now? Or should I keep doing this all night? I do wonder how many times someone can come back to li-"
"I'LL TELL YOU EVERYTHING!" The guy suddenly shouted in shaking fear. "Anything you want to know! Just please, please, just let me stay de-

Oh? Madara completely ignored the sniveling man at his feet as he read the almost digitized bold words high above. He fished his pack of cigarettes from his pocket, flicking his thumb like it was a makeshift lighter. A flicker of flame hovered just above the man's thumbnail. The glow of the single fire barely lighting Madara's features but somehow just enough to make him look more lethal. "Who is it this time, I do wonder."

"Heh, looks like you get to live a tiny bit longer." Mr. Grim's comment spurred the other men in black suits to drag the crying pitiful man out of the room. He didn't pay any of them much mind; his thoughts now more focused toward the up and coming match. It had been awhile since he went against Sage. "Nearly a month, I'd say."
"Sir."
"Mm?"
"We've put him in HR two." The man who spoke wore a similar suit to the other men who worked for Madara with the only difference of a black button down. As well as a spiral mask hiding the entirety of their face. "Anything else you'd like done before the match begins?"
"No need, Tobi." Madara blew out the inhaled smoke. The puff of cloud blurring the hoving text somehow while taking on the glowing hue. "Time doesn't flow the same there."
Somewhere else in an entirely different type of terrain of high mountains instead of city high skyscrapers sat a man dressed in loose white robes embedded with plates of guarding silver metal. A blended outfit of a shinobi and an armored samurai. The moon's cool toned glow glinted off the plates as the only lighting within the lush greenery. Its calming hue was maximized by the body of water surrounding the still man perched on its calm surface. Peace and quiet muted the forest area as the man encased himself in the task of gathering natural chakra into his core.
Until the alert sounded.

MATCH SET

The man was forced out of their meditation by the telling signal. It had been quite some time since he heard the noise directed at him. His eyes took in the air typed announcement. Lingering on the character's name of who he would be fighting this time; Mr. Grim. Madara.
"Think your player made the request, Minato?" A cat sized fox made up of nearly golden glowing energy jumped up onto the seated man's shoulder. Mindful of the nearly shoulder length blonde hair. "Your first match in a while and it's with that psycho and his snarky crow."
"It is possible they did."
"Think they know each other?"
SageGod made no comment despite having come to that conclusion a few months ago. There had been too many matches against Madara for the thought to not have been produced. Even in some events he found himself crossing paths or joined by the suited man with the lingering aura of death. He wasn't too fond of the guy as it was clear their morals were quite wrapped.
My player is a good kid, it must have been a chance meeting.
How Minato knew this was anyone's guess really. The blonde had come to have a sense of what type of person his player was; part of the player was embedded himself as well. There was no real name but then again such personal information was never allowed to be given between a Player and a Character role like himself.
Each sect leader had to become a character but those in charge of an entire domain were called boss characters. Minato was one such boss character having a domain over the land of Wind. Thus he was paired with a player best suited and rather similar to himself. Madara however was the head of the Fire domain. The man had previously been a section leader who rose up in ranks by bloodied or dirtied means before the Player-Character system became a thing so Minato knew of the fire-user well. And it seemed his player had come to know of the mafia man's own player in some way due to this.
"May as well head to the portal now."
"Don't let that stinky city mobber win!"
SageGod merely smiled, rather amused by the fox's distaste for the dark haired man, before getting up to follow the dirt pathway that would lead to his current location's portal gate to the match.
Surround sound speakers built into the very room played an alternative song* with notes of an upbeat flow.
The music causing the wall installed lights to switch colors to the music's changes in tempo. In the middle of the room seated upon an almost bed like couch was a young dark haired male of seemingly 17 years of age. Their dark eyes a match to their hair set in a handsome face of pale skin and somewhat feminine features. They stood up and stepped forward into the holographic square space before them. Instantly displacing pixels when their body passed through so it was no fully submerged into the digital display.
Sasuke pressed his finger to the holographic screen hovering before him clicking onto the PVP billboard. He scrolled to where he could see his gamertag on the up and coming matches then slid the arrow to where the other player's name was. I thought this moron wasn't going to be back on for another two days. The link connected to the dubbed moron's gamertag opened a new page to the other's profile. It looked similar to Sasuke's own showing they were the same level. However the telling Leaf symbol under the person's gamer avatar was proof of belonging to another faction. He glanced briefly at the red cloud symbol by his username. Wonder if he'd switch teams?Akatsuki would be a better team for him than Kohona anyways.
The raven however knew Kyuubi wouldn't since the guy was one of the admins of their team. His brother Itachi was the founder of the professional Akatsuki team. It was due to that family connection that Sasuke even met Kyuubi. He knew their real name but didn't bother to use it much despite Kyuubi doing so. Outside of their slurred epithet for one another; because at this point in time of them knowing each other the name calling had become more of a friendly endearment than slighting insult. He clicked the PM button on Kyuubi's profile and sent a brief message consisting of only emojis.
A sword, a blood drop, and a skull.
In the following seconds his phone pinged.
"Eat my words huh?"
Sasuke went back to the main game screen by sliding the smaller screen upward and out of existence. Before him now was a nearly fully immersive display he could touch only thanks to the sensor devices on his hands. It was also built into the clothes he had on that were made specifically for this system as a professional player. Sasuke pulled out the small lens case from his pocket when he noted his character's portal had yet to be activated so he had time to insert the contacts allowing him to see what his character did.
"What is this..?"
The display he had been in before was of a Japanese style dojo but what he was seeing now was a darkened hallway and the above view of shiny black dress shoes in motion. Then the line of sight shifted upward as if he had raised his head, then almost briefly Sasuke was able to catch a glimpse of someone reflected off of a glossy surface. His sight was soon obstructed as a black gloved hand suddenly came up from somewhere by his waist area to cover the eyes. Next second the dojo was back in view. The raven found it odd but figured it might have been a glitch or his tech was picking up his brother's own who he knew was playing a floor above. Well playing wouldn't be the right word since it was Itachi. Whatever. Dope should be here soon.
And as if on cue SageGod stepped into the dojo from the other side.
