"You're coming back."
I smiled a weak smile, "Now? You send me to another hospital?"
Carlisle grinned as he looked down at me, "Shhhh.." He soothed me taking my hand in both of his.
"Just relax and remember what I said."
"I'll come back?" It was getting harder to hear his lovely voice.
"Perfect."
"I'm not falling asleep, I'm just resting my eyes."
"It's okay Emma sleep for now."Carlisle cooed lovingly, "You sure about this?" He asked somebody for confirmation.
"Do you want her to die?" Alice retorted with a question of her own.
"Were they talking about me?"
"Watch for me?"
"She's goIng to make a wonderful mother."
"Alice." He let out an exasperated sigh.
I heard Alice's heels clicking across the floor.
"Emma, I'm going to give you something."
I nodded weakly.
I barely had time to ponder when I felt two pin pricks dig into my soft, vulnerable, neck.
Carlisle watched as the heart monitor beeped my last mortal heartbeats and as he watched the flatline as he listened to the screams of a newborn immortal.
