As the two friends return the other people that work as they do for the goddess looked at them, they had this look of both understanding and that they better give them plenty of personal space cause Hector is that pissed off. Pissed off enough that he might kill someone if they piss him off even more, so putting the pin on that grenade before it goes off and leaves him be.
"I honestly don't see why you are so pissed off, we got to go to a universe with dozens if not hundreds of demigods, who were friendly to us, saw amazing things, did really cool and interesting stuff, and yet you are still pissed off. Hector tell me what exactly do you hate about our last mission?"
Hector glared at Hiro as he walked towards him, "You want to know what piss me off, you got it. Don't you fucking dare to complain cause you asked for it? That fucking universe was based on the Percy Jackson movies, alright, that fucking thing is an insult to art, cinema, and literature, and if that wasn't bad enough, they made Hades, the main villain of this turd, never mind that Persephone was in the underworld in the middle of fucking summer, so yes, I fucking hate that universe, no matter how much we had to literally change to make the damn place suck even a little bit, cause big shock, at the beginning Camp Half Blood, gave me more vibes of it being a camp for Hitler's Youth. Not even fucking kidding, weapons are easily accessible to teenagers, the archery range is right by the mess hall, not fucking kidding, and the one deity that is known to have caused alcoholism is in charge of the fucking place, and you wonder why I fucking hate it?"
Hiro also mentioned that he forgot to mention that a daughter of Zeus got turned into a tree and now is the reason the camp is protected by a barrier made by her, but she is stuck practically for years as a tree, not even one that gives fruit or flowers of any kind, a tree that looks more dead than alive. Hector told him that it wasn't surprising considering this tree was hit by lightning quite a few times, so it wasn't a small tree.
"Admit it, the only reason you hate it is because they made the only Greek deity you actually sympathize and respect into an irredeemable monster, an abusive power-hungry tyrant that even his wife can't stand. I happen to know that you spent quite a bit of time down in the underworld, and got to say that river's waters give one hell of a workout and are comfortable year around, and you got to be rather close to Hades, his wife, and a couple of his kids, not to mention that three-headed dog you apparently love to take out on walks and play fetch with."
Hector was making a fist when he heard that last part and told Hiro to leave Fluffy out of this, that dog has enough shit to deal with, to be dragged through this discussion, "So you do love that dog, and you never once admit it, not even when your mom or mine asked you about it." Hector was not going to deny that and he was not going to let him get away with such a statement as he told Hiro that he would admit that he loved to play with one of the guardians at the entrance of the Underworld if he admitted he has an unhealthy crush on that man-hating, leader of a group of girls who hate man just as much as her does, otherwise named Artemis.
Hiro was not going to deny that but wanting to have the final word before they entered the office they were summoned, he told Hector he didn't mention his respect and admiration for Apollo either, "There are many great things about the people that make up the Greek Pantheon, so I tend to admire or think quite affectionally of many of them, so come all we better hurry or else your ball and chain will be angry with both of us for keeping her waiting."
Hector told him that chances are they would be sent to an even worse mission than the last one if she heard that ball and chain comment, "So thanks a lot for jinxing us, it is one thing to be hit by lightning, it is another thing entirely to piss off the guy who can throw that as a lance, in such a way that is practically begging for it." Hiro was quick to mention that yes Luke was practically begging for it, with all the crap he pulled, but his godly father never once did that, in fact, Zeus proved to be rather open to the fact that he wanted a "open" marriage, with his wife so come on admit it, you also hated going to Las Vegas to get one of the pearls they needed, and they needed three pearls to leave the Underworld, and Percy was going there to rescue his mother, that would mean they need four pearls, but somehow they simply never realized it.
As they entered through the doors, the same desk was present, the same furniture they had seen a million times, and the pictures of family and children slowly growing up from one photo to the next, Hiro had to admit that he never once noticed the picture in the frames before, but then again he was more focused on what new exciting merged universe they would be sent to next, but now he looked and he asked his long time partner and friend, just how many children does he have with their goddess, Hector told him not that many, only six, they wouldn't have this many if they didn't do so many missions, after all sometimes the Goddess followed him into those merge universes disguised as other people. When Hiro heard this it finally clicked in his mind, "This is why Nico Robin showed up in so many of our missions, and she is always, and I mean always after you, or you end up getting married to her or an older version of her, so that was our goddess the entire time, and didn't tell us. Maybe she is secretly worried that you would cheat on her."
Hector sat on his usual chair and looked at his friend and smiled, "And if I ever did anything that stupid we wouldn't be having this conversation, cause I would be long gone by now, as in she would erase me from existence, you think your wives are bad, well take it from me, you don't want to piss off mine, or you will not survive to regret it." They heard the goddess laugh as she had her chair turned towards them and she was smiling, in a way that made Hiro almost feel afraid to say anything.
"It is so good that my husband understands me so well, and yes, I may go as that person, but I am also limited in my powers to what that person has, so no I can't use my full might to help you complete those missions faster, as to how come we got so many kids, let's just say that the things we experience together in those missions are quite romantic, and that would put anyone in the mood to be intimate with the person they love, and so, we have this many kids, I hope you like the picture frames, I think our kids are more noticeable in these new picture frames. That is enough of that, I need you two to go to another merged universe, and yes, it is one based on that Percy Jackson series, and it's linked with the Naruto universe, and Ziro and Zector are not involved in the creation of this one."
That made the two friends pay attention a little more, since this had never happened before, "The real cause is that a white Zetsu, took off from the Naruto Universe and found a portal to that universe with the one where Percy Jackson would be, and he did something to cause them to be merged, he changed the fates of many people there, causing the two universes to be merged, never mind that he made a copy of Konoha in that universe, and for some reason the Percy Jackson, the one that would decide the fate of the Greek Pantheon and their home, Olympus, he was supposed to be born the son of Poseidon, so instead he was born his daughter, , the Fates contacted me and asked me for my aid in helping deal with the situation, the Fates agreed to help, if only because they are upset that someone messed with their work, they will be there however to provide assistance, but I know how much my husband hates that place, so I am allowing you two to live and train in the actual Konoha till you are at least two hundred years old, however it is not without reason, four gods will be made to take human forms, as their powers and memories are sealed, and these four shall be the parents of both of you, as Naruto and Sasuke again, I will try to be there, but I might have to do so through the Roman Pantheon not to raise any supicions from Zeus."
Hector asked how could this be considered a merged universe, She quickly explained that that was not the reason why it was a merged universe the reason was thanks to the portal Chakra began to flow from one universe into the other, and began to mix with the energy in the Percy Jackson Universe, but sadly it also means the energy from that universe flowed back to the Naruto Universe as a consequence, in the Percy Jackson Universe the pantheon kept people unaware of monsters or anything mythological by using the mist, the mist however mixed with chakra to change it into something they never once expected, instead of hiding what they didn't want to see, it caused all the collective ideas and beliefs of humanity to become actually real if the majority of the human race believed something was true, it was, science, astronomy, space exploration, and even many different beliefs and religions became real, and the Olympians could do nothing about it.
If they wanted to do something, it would require them to destroy the mist, and try to start it over again, but destroying the mist would expose the humans to everything they wanted to keep concealed in the first place, they would see things that could cause wars, conflicts, and mass hysteria, how else would people react to such sights as a giant floating island existing over New York City, and right about the Empire State building? They couldn't do that, so they watched as their universe became more chaotic, and eventually, the Fates told her that Zeus and the other Olympians needed help, and they needed people who could deal with massive threats from other worlds and other pantheons.
"That is why you two will be going, You two have helped many of these merged universes, and even ones that came out due to merged parallel universes, you two however need to go back to Konoha, as Naruto and Sasuke, your skills need to be extra sharp because in this mission you will face threats like you never seen before, and on a personal level I don't want to ever be a widow, So you shall go back and improve your skills as ninjas, you will get to live in that place for two hundred years, that should be enough, but at the moment of your death of old age, you two shall appear in the other universe, because in this universe your parents also hold a secret, they are not as they appeared. Naruto your parents are Artemis and Hagoromo Otsutsuki, Artemis was forced to take up human form and had her divine powers sealed as punishment for her actions, Sasuke, your parents are Hagoromo Otsutsuki and Hestia, and Hagoromo went there in a human form to strengthen his children, while the other went there to make sure Artemis didn't cause problems for the Olympians and to keep an eye on her niece."
Hector was quick to mention other members of that pantheon could in fact want to visit and live in Konoha if only to cause trouble, get a few chances to sleep around, and others to fool around as they consider that their preferred method of entertainment. She laughed as she heard him say that, and told him that is the case, many of their so-called clan abilities and skills are actually a result of that very reason. He looked at her and simply began to nod his head, "Fine, you promised to help them, You should know I hate that place, and having to go through several versions of it, it shouldn't be that surprising, I will go into that universe if only to help you, but you know a certain pervert will try to seduce as many of those goddesses and demigod girls as he can, that will cause so much harm and could lead to another horrible war. This doesn't change the fact I hate that cruel, uncaring, irresponsible, unfair, and insane universe."
Hector only had one thing to say, "But I want a good fucking reward when I return from this crappy universe, and yes, I want it from you, I want an entire freaking week with no fucking missions, no interruptions, no chores or demands, just me and you together enjoying our time as a couple, and maybe spent a day or two seeing how we can help our kids, and you know what shit I am going into, so if I succeed and return you know I earn that much, do we have a deal?"
She tried very hard to hide her blushing face and smile as she turned away and told him, "Fine, if you succeed you get your reward, you got yourself a deal, but you better do a good job or I am going to be pissed, and you don't want to see me angry, now do you, my love."
As they began to disappear, they thought of the many problems they would face, or at least Hector did, he often suspected that Hiro was just thinking of all the fun he could have if he formed a large harem. At least Hector hoped he could have a few years of peace before his friend started getting out of control no thanks to all the hormones due to puberty.
Well, this was something he was not expecting, he still had the mind of an adult, even as a newborn, which made the entire situation that much more awkward, being pulled by his feet and hit so hard on his ass, had he been a child the only thought in his mind would be one day making the man suffer the same pain. The thing is he was not going to act like a child since his mind was not that immature, the next part of him being pressed against his mother's breast, no wonder kids tend to forget this part as they grow up, he was feeling hungry, but had few alternatives so he simply did as he was supposed to.
Much like he expected his father was overjoyed to hear that he had a healthy baby boy, why was he this excited, after all, Itachi was a boy. Honestly, he was behaving like this was a miracle or something, it took the man to finally let his mother burp him and put him in his crib before he finally calmed down. "Honestly I don't remember dad being this expressive or willing to show his emotions, stoic, calm, and indifferent that is what I would say my father's usual attitude was. I know that if I don't show results, any parental love or affection will die faster than wheat during a drought. After all from what I remember of how he behaved, the only thing that was important to him were results."
Naruto would be born a few months later, except his birth was during something no one in the village expected, somehow The nine tails fox appeared in the village, Hiruzen knew that could only mean it broke free from the seal in Kushina, and that was not something good, his wife was the midwife helping her during the birth of her son. Minato had summoned the boss of the toad clan to help him restrain the nine tails, but had it not been for the Uchiha, many more ninjas of the village would have died, instead, they came immediately to the village's aid when called, as a result, many Uchiha clan members died on that day.
Many of the villages used to hate that clan either due to bitter envy or jealousy due to them having a powerful blood trait, the villagers were however stupid, they never realized that much like the Hyuga Clan, they could also become blind if they abused or overused their eyes. The eyesight could only be restored by replacing the eyes with the eyes of another clan member, with the same blood type. That is why the Uchiha and Hyuga Clan made rules to collect and properly store the eyes of dead clan members, in case they were ever needed to reverse the blindness of a living clan member.
The one person who didn't like either of these clans was a man by the name of Danzo Shimura, a man who had been on Hiruzen's genin team and had been an old childhood friend of the Third Hokage, This was the man who hated these two clans for not only their powerful eyes but because he considered them to be a major contender to becoming the next Hokage after Minato, Danzo from early childhood was obsessed with become Hokage, his Jounin Instructor consider just a kid wanting attention, but it went deeper than anyone realized. He wanted that position, to turn the village into his own military regime, one where he could turn the ninjas into mindless obedient super warriors, for the sole purpose of destroying all the other hidden villages and conquering the world.
The entire nine tails incident was supposed to help discredit the Uchiha Clan and make them easier targets, but somehow it was not the case, They managed to save the lives of Hiruzen's wife, and they were helping Minato to contain and keep the Bijuu from causing deaths in the village, this was not going as he once expected at all, instead of earning the hatred of the village by leaving them to their fates and caring for own safety, they were acting as heroes coming to help during such a major disaster. It shouldn't be so surprising, that Fugaku had cracked down and taken care of all the corrupt officers in the Village Police Force, corrupt officers that Danzo had planted. He also increased the number of patrols, so of course they would react quickly to all this happening.
That was one thing Danzo could not understand, till he remembered that a few months prior his son was born, that was the reason for the sudden change in attitude and personality, that bastard who was previously selfish and greedy, changed because he wanted to give a better example and for his son to have a good opinion of him. But why would this matter? Itachi was a highly accomplished ninja, even at such an early age, he was considered by many a war hero. That was one thing Danzo could not understand why had the birth of his second child motivated him to change so drastically, that clearly he could no longer spread false rumors that he was leading the Uchiha Clan in an attempt to overthrow the Hokage, after rushing the the aid of the Hokage, this would be something almost impossible for anyone to believe, which was another thing that could ruin his plans.
Thanks to this, a few major disasters occurred, Both Sasuke and Naruto grew up as friends, but sadly both of their fathers died when a strange masked man tried to kill Mikoto, and later after the funeral of Fugaku, he was found trying to attack Kushina, but he was nearly defeated by Minato, and he survived long enough to tell Hiruzen what happened to him, and he suspects that the Hyuuga might be next, sadly he did not survive long enough for the healers to arrive, it seems the masked man had used a very dangerous poison that no one has even heard of since the Second Shinobi War.
It has been two centuries since they were born again in this world, and much like the two had done before, they were the heroes that nobody at first expected, but in the end who they needed, Naruto achieved his dream of becoming Hokage, Sasuke took up the work his late father had done and was the Village's Police Chief, many times his friend visited and he helped whenever he was needed, earning him quite a bit of respect. As they kept on living and more of their world became even more peaceful, age began to show on them, as they grew older, but this was long after their wives and children had all died of all age, They defeated Kaguya, sealed her back up on the moon, and she came to understand her plan was wrong to begin with, as she thanked them both for making her realize her mistake.
"I don't see why we are still around here, we should have been summoned by the Greek Pantheon or at least our mothers long ago, not a word, the moon sends no messages, and neither do the flames in our homes, honestly I am beginning to think our mothers simply don't want to see us again."
Sasuke looked at Naruto and simply began to shake his head, he had some ideas about why Artemis and Hestia wouldn't call on them after all these years, Kushina died a year after Naruto's son was born, and was happy that she got to meet her grandson, and Mikoto also passed on after her granddaughters second birthday, both were unexpected, but they had hundred of years to get over the sadness of that day, but back to the matter at hand.
"Look, I can think of no less than three reasons, First your mother Artemis is the Goddess of the Hunt, so she is probably busy helping and training all those girls that joined her as a huntress. As for dear Hestia, she is probably too busy trying to maintain the peace no thanks to the paranoid delusions of Zeus, In other words, they are busy, The second reason is someone we both know is actively preventing them from doing it, that white Zetsu whom black was attached to was more than happy to tell us things that he shouldn't during our fight, I get the feeling he is somehow involved in this, and the Third, they simply can't, somehow they can't summon us there, it could be we don't meet the requirements or the fates are simply pissed and are delaying it to get even, no point in wasting time on this, we will get summoned there sooner or later, who knows maybe the only reason we haven't been summoned at all is that we are still alive, even though we are this old."
That is when one of them heard an indignant voice come from out of nowhere, "Or it could be that you two been having so much fun, that you forgot to even pray to your dear old mothers properly,. Sasuke, was it too hard to place some of your food in the fire in the fireplace and say it was for your mother, and you, was it too hard for you to look at the full moon and pray? You don't even think about me or Hestia that often, guess it is quite obvious the reason, once boys discover girls, they don't pay as much attention to their mother as they once did."
Sasuke was not going to take this crap from anyone, so he looked at the moon since he figured that is where the voice was being projected from, "Well freaking excuse us for being busy, it's not like we had to fight two world Shinobi wars back to back, defeat our grandmother which we were never even told about her, and then had to stop the rest of her clan from trying to destroy this planet, so it is natural that we were a little freaking busy! I never got a chance to spend that much time with my kids, and as for old, you two probably look like you are in your prime, so don't give me that shit. As a goddess you can change your appearance, you think you can fool ninjas of our caliber that easily, how insulting, honestly, your complaints are giving me such a headache!"
