Hi, Thunderstrike16 here... we've all had the problem... lol okay in all seriousness though. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who gets a lot of story ideas, but don't act on it for whatever reason. And it ends up going in limbo or something. That's the issue I'm dealing with right now, I have a lot ideas I have that I lost interest in, and not planning on writing. So I would delete them (I use Microsoft Word, so I can easily get it back) or whatever. So after some thought, I decided to make an adoption story list.
How this will work, is that I have name (or the media name, if I didn't have a name at the time), synopsis, some notes on the ideas I had for the story, which you can use if you want. And also a preview or how much I written before I stopped writing it. Also, you don't have to use what I had written so far, you can do your own thing.
So you can all peruse through and see if you want to adopt and write these ideas yourselves. Make sure to give me credit on the ideas though, that's all I ask. And I'll put an 'A' on chapter list for when someone adopts the story.
Other than that, here is the first Prompt.
Name: The Celestial Avenger
Media: Crossover of Fairy Tail and Marvel (MCU)
Synopsis: Instead of being frozen in time for seven years after Acnologia attacked Tenrou Island, Lucy Heartfilia is sent to the MCU. She is teleported into the New York Sanctum, and is found by Doctor Strange and Wong. After they help her get back to her Universe, and find out what happened to everyone else. She decides to become stronger by becoming Strange's student and a Master of the Mystic Arts.
Notes:
In some stories, Lucy or other characters are kicked out of the Guild, but this doesn't happen.
The remaining members of Fairy Tail join Lucy in training (Up to whoever adopts this if they all become Masters of the Mystic Arts)
Lucy joins the Avengers (Either an original member, or joins sometime after they formed)
Eclipse Spirits will be utilized without any consequences, but they could only be used for a short time, and it drains magic.
Lucy Heartfilia could only watch in despair as she saw Acnologia hover in the air. She couldn't believe it, with everyone's combined attacks, including 2 Dragon Slayer's; they didn't even leave a scratch on him. Then again, all she did was summon Sagittarius, and she wasn't powerful enough to summon more than one Celestial Spirit. Although she did summon all the spirits she had when she was saving Loke from dying, and talking to the Celestial Spirit King.
But she thought it was just the combined magic around Karen's grave, Loke and the Spirit King being there. She wasn't planning on testing if she had done it on her own right now, they were strapped for time, and her failing could mean a quicker death.
She collapsed onto her knees, tears starting to fall down her face; everyone was talking about how powerful Acnologia was and that it all seemed hopeless. She then heard a noise and looked up, as he was starting to power up another attack, and it looked to be quite strong.
"Is it gonna try to wipe out the whole island?" Cana said in disbelief.
"He can't be that strong." Juvia said in the same disbelief as Cana.
That was enough for her, she felt her strength decreasing, and all her hope of surviving was lost.
"No, I-isnt there anything we can do? Is this it? Are we all just going to die here?" She muttered hopelessly.
"Defense Magic users bring out your most powerful spells." Erza ordered.
The idea was to use Script Magic and they were going to use all the Magic power they had, so Levy and Freed could use it. She then noticed someone holding out their hand to her, and to see it was Natsu.
"C'mon Lucy, we are not going to go out crying." He said confidently.
She looked into his eyes, and she could tell he was scared, which was something she had never seen in him. But, he still had the brave, confident look he always had when things got serious. He was someone who she could rely on and trust. He was like a brother to her, a bit immature sometimes… ok a lot, but she would've smiled at the thought about how she felt about him the first couple of weeks or maybe months she had first known him. She had actually had a little crush on him, and she would always blush when she or he was close to her.
She still figuratively beat herself up for that whole fiasco where all he wanted was her to summon Virgo, so she could dig a hole for him, when she thought it was a date. But overtime she had gotten over it, and thought of him as an older brother who looked out for her, and was someone who she can always count on.
He then held her hand firmly, waiting for her. She knew she can't be like this, she had to be brave like Natsu and the people she liked to call friends and family.
She then stopped crying and hoped she had brave face and said, "Fairy Tail never gives up the fight!"
Which was true, since joining the guild, she had been through countless things that seemed like the odds were stacked against them, but they never gave up, and they always won at the end. From Eisenwald, Galuna Island, Battle of Fairy Tail, Oracion Seis, Phantom Lord, Tower of Heaven, Edolas, they always came out on top. This situation they were in, wasn't different, they will make it out of this alive.
With her spirits lifted, she grasped Natsu's hand and then Gray's hand, and held them firmly. She noticed Happy and Pantherlily heading to their respective Dragon Slayer's and hugging them. Lucy guessed they wanted to be as close to their respective friends as possible. Wendy and Carla weren't there with them, due to no one picking her and Carla to come.
She knew Natsu, Gajeel had prohibited her from going, due to them thinking she was too young for it. Wendy argued against it, but Master Makarov agreed with them, but Happy would've brought Carla, but she wanted to stay with Wendy. Happy cried, and Natsu had promised him fish, in order for him to shut up.
"We got to all face our fears together. We'll show him that we have a bond that will never be broken!" Gray said, trying to get everyone's spirits up.
After getting into position, she heard Master Makarov tearfully say with a very proud voice.
"Ok kids, let's all go home together."
"Back home to Fairy Tail!" They all said in unisom.
Lucy, just like everyone else, focused all of their magic, and a bright light started to form.
And it was at that moment, Acnologia fired his attack, and Lucy closed her eyes, and thought about everyone closets to her heart.
As the attack hit them, the next thing Lucy saw, was darkness.
The next thing she knew, she felt herself slightly waking up, but she was still groggy and the sounds she was hearing felt far away. She could slightly feel and she felt a dull pain. She tried to move, but she couldn't, and she then heard voices, they still sounded far away, but she could understand them.
"The noise came from in… what in the world?" A male voice said.
She then felt something on her neck, and she was starting to go in and out of consciousness.
"She's alive." She heard another voice said.
"You'll need to watch her, I need to check if there are any other people." The first voice said.
"No, we need something to heal her, and take her to Christine, Wong. She's injured."
The man, or 'Wong' sighed, and said," Very well Strange. That means you have to watch over her."
"I know."
The sound came back, and by then her vision was coming back, and she felt like her strength was coming back, and she tried to lift her arm, but it was stopped by someone.
"Whoa, just stay, little one." Wong said.
She tried to say something, but she couldn't, all she could get out was a groan. And she found herself drifting into unconsciousness again.
She then went back into consciences when she heard people talking, and she felt like she was moving. And she heard voices again.
"Female. Late Teens. Multiple bruises, possibly some internal bleeding and unknown injuries. Stable." A female voice said. "We have to get her into the OR now."
Lucy then fell asleep again, which felt like hours.
The next time she woke up, she heard a beeping sound, and she was finally getting out of her grogginess, and blinked a couple of times. Her vision soon cleared.
The first thing she noticed was that she was in a white room, with a few pieces of furniture. She had to guess she was a in a hospital room. She started to look around, and found some stuff that was unfamiliar to her; she heard talking from outside the door, and looked out at it. She saw numerous people, possibly doctors and nurses walking around. Some were holding small box things.
One of the people who she guessed was a nurse, walked into her room, and froze when she saw her awake.
The nurse seemed a smile a bit, and then went out of the room, and said," Dr. Palmer! She's awake!"
After she said that, she came back in, along with a woman she assumed were Dr. Palmer and also a man with good facial hair, and odd clothes running into the room. Were her eyes deceiving her, or was his cape flowing?
The woman looked at the nurse, and said," Thank you Maria, I'll take it from here. Please close the door on the your way out."
Maria nodded, gave Lucy one last supportive look before she walked out and closed the door.
Lucy looked at the woman, and noticed a tag or ID of sorts on her hip which said 'Doctor Christine Palmer' on it. She relaxed, a little bit. But she kept her guard up, just in case, being with Fairy Tail helped you with many things, although fighting and defending yourself was helped by Erza. She still shuttered at the training she had put her and the rest of team, or possibly the entire Guild through.
Dr. Palmer smiled at Lucy, and said," I'm glad to see you're awake. With the state you were in when Stephen brought you in, we thought you would've been out for a little longer. My name is Dr. Christine Palmer. How are you feeling?"
"I'm fine, but what's going on?" Lucy hesitantly asked.
Before Christine could say anything, the man with the cape said," What was the last thing you remember? And what is your name?"
"Really? I was going to tell her slowly. To help her ease into it."
The man rolled his eyes and said," It's best if we rip the band-aid off now. And this is something we should talk about back at the Sanctum."
Christine rolled her eyes, but they held some fondness and said," Your bedside manner still needs work."
Lucy raised a brow, but said," My name is Lucy Heartfilia. I'm part of the Fairy Tale Guild. And I was on Tenrou Island… oh no! My friends were under attack. Did you-"
Before Lucy could spiral, Christine sat next to her, and placed a calming hand on her shoulder, and said," Lucy, breathe for me, okay? Your fine, everything is fine."
Lucy wanted to argue, but hearing Christine's calming voice helped her relax a little. And she took a couple of breaths before she looked sheepish." Sorry, thanks."
The man looks semi-apologetic and said," My apologies for being crass, but my name is Stephen Strange. And I believe I can help you get back to wherever you are from."
Christine smirked, and said," And yes, his last is name is a tad strange."
Lucy giggled and she heard Strange mumble 'Haven't heard that one before' in a very sarcastic voice.
Strange rolled his eyes and said," So, is she able to be moved?"
"Well, when she came in, she had numerous injuries, but whatever potion you gave her to help her further recover after the surgery helped. But I will go with you to make sure she doesn't get hurt."
Strange nodded and said," Alright, please stand back. And it's not potion, it's an elixir." He said, but Lucy could see the slightly amused look.
Lucy watched in curiosity and wondered what he was going to do. She watched as he closed in eyes, as if he was in concentration. He held out one hand, (Lucy noticed he had some sort of ring that looked like a rectangle), and did a circular motion with his other, and a circle of orange energy appeared, until it was big enough to show someplace else. The Celestial Mage's jaw dropped at what she saw. She had never seen that type of magic before.
"Wow, so are you a Mage?" Lucy asked.
Strange looked back at her and said," I prefer Sorcerer. Mage sounds old fashioned. C'mon. Do you need help getting up?"
By that time Christine had unplugged everything, and was going to help Lucy up, but she shook her head and said," No, I can get up on my own."
"Well, hospital protocol states you have to stay in a wheelchair until you leave the premises." Christine interjected.
Lucy gave her a raised eyebrow and said," The portal thingy is right there. I don't need that."
Strange gave Christine a look, with Christine sighing and said," Fine, c'mon, I'll help you up."
Christine helped Lucy up. Lucy felt wobbly for a second, and then she started to walk towards the portal. Happy went in first, then Christine and Lucy went. Unfortunately, Strange was behind them, and forgot that the hospital gowns have an opening in the back. His face went scarlett when he saw Lucy's butt for brief moment, and the Cloak of Levitation smacked the side of his head.
"Not like I did it on purpose," He mumbled, and he did a spell he used a couple of times to help himself dress (he was lazy sometimes; it didn't hurt to use magic for his benefit sometimes.)
Although he was tempted to use the Eye of Agamotto and Time stone, to look into the future and see future lottery numbers. But that would make him unworthy of it, and the Ancient One would somehow find a way to come back from the dead, and kill him. After Wong and possibly Christine had their share.
When Lucy walked through, she was surprised to see she was wearing, shoes, a pair of sweatpants, and a Sweatshirt that had 'Metro-General' on it. She would've thought more on it, but she noticed the room she was in. They were standing in front of a staircase, and the house looked old, but had its charm. It reminded her of what the mansion she grew up in looked like when she walked through the door. Even though this place looked smaller, but it was still nice.
"Hmm, I see that you have returned." A man of Asian features walked in from another room.
"Lucy, this is Wong. He is the former protector of the library of Kamar-Taj, and also co-protector of the New York Sanctum." Strange introduced.
Wong looked at Strange with disapproval and said," Why did you tell her about Kamar-Taj?"
"A library? How many books do you have? Oh man! Levy would freak once she finds out." Lucy said, with stars in her eyes.
"A lot, and that's all you need to know. Also, I found the spell that would take her and her friend back to where they came." Wong said.
"Good then, we'll be able to get her back to her universe soon."
Lucy and Christine looked at Strange and said," Universe?"
"Yes… you didn't know you were in a different Universe?" Strange said with a raised eyebrow.
"No, I thought I was in a hospital in Fiore. No wonder it looked different, and the magic felt different as well. Never thought I would end up in a different Universe again. Is this Edolas?" Lucy asked.
"Ok, I know dating you again has now opened my eyes to different things now. But are you saying the Theory of the Multiverse is real?" Christine said.
"How did you know that?" Strange asked.
Christine had a sheepish look and said," My old college roommate was a Science Fiction geek."
Strange nodded and said," Right, I think I remember that. But how are you so calm about this?" He asked the last part to Lucy.
"Some of my friends and myself ended up in an alternate world where everyone we know are different somehow." Lucy explained.
"And Fiore, is in Earthland right?" Wong asked.
"Yes, you've been there?"
"No, not personally, once in a while magic users who have the spells for interdimensional travel do it. One place that magic users tend to go to is an Alternate Universe or alternate Earth, called Earth Land." He explained.
Lucy blinked; she would've known something about that, considering the books she and Levy read at all hours of the night at the library. They were mentions of alternate worlds, and they had experienced it first hand when they found themselves in Edolas. And the other person who knew full well about this stuff was Lisanna, Mirajane and Elfman's younger sister. Everyone thought she died, but in reality, she had been transported and lived in Edolas for 2 years.
Thinking about them, made her realize something. She didn't know where everyone else was.
"That's good and all, but, were Happy and I the only ones you found? Or were there others, like a guy who feels hot and had pink hair, or a guy who feels cold, and was probably only in his underwear. Or maybe a woman who has scarlett red hair, armor, love for cake. And has the aurora of a demon that can beat you with only a terrifying stare?"
Lucy felt a chill when she had described Erza. She had a feeling Erza wasn't nearby, but the feeling of her angry stare still sent her chills. But she and Erza had become close friends since joining the Guild, so she also felt guilty for describing her as that in the last part.
Even though it was sorta true.
Strange and Wong both raised a brow with Strange saying," No, you were the only one we found"
Lucy felt fear gripping her, fearing the worse, what if she and Happy were the only ones who had survived? And everyone else in Fiore thought they were all dead, and back in Earthland it's been years?
Then again, everyone had survived, and she was pulled into another world like Lisanna had. Did that mean that while she was saved this world's Lucy had died?
Damn, she's jumping to conclusions, and over thinking again!
"Ok, and not to sound rude, but I would like to head home as soon as I can. I want to let everyone know I'm alright, and see my other friends are ok as well."
"Very well, Wong and I will take you there. Uh Christine, do you want to come along?" Strange said.
Christine shook her head and said," No thanks. I have to get back to the Hospital."
Stephen nodded and created a portal. Christine was about to go through, but Lucy stopped her.
"Christine? I just want to say thank you for taking care of me."
Christine smiled and said," I'm a doctor; it's what I'm supposed to do. And it was nice meeting you. If you want to visit anytime, don't hesitate."
Lucy grinned and said," I will, thank you."
The portal closed when Christine walked through. Lucy then heard a noise and turned around to see that Wong had opened another portal.
"If you don't mind stepping in." Wong said.
