Chapter 2: Airport Ambush

As soon as the much ended, Malory quickly left and she arrived back with her group.
Malory nodded and replied, "That is a powerful Dragon deck."
The former lord nodded and replied, "That kid is a really strong duelist. We need to invite her to help us, Malory."
"I know, but she won't want to come without her girlfriend Jordan, sir."
"I know, but is she a descendant of either knight?"
She opened her book and she looked around and she smiled ad replied, "You're not going to believe this, my lord. that Jordan girl is a descendant of Shield Knight and Blake is a descendant of Shovel Knight."
"That is all we needed. Send the letters and disguise it as a small tournament as well, Malory."
She nodded as she walked away and the former lord looked at the page where pictures of the three duelists and he nodded and replied, "I really hope you three can save us from that wench."

The top floor of a dark and evil looking tower / ?
11:00pm
That evening at the top of a large black tower, a evil woman was watching the screens that showed various spots on Pridmoor island. Besides her was a Knight with black and red armor and he was known as Black Knight.
The Black Knight knelt and replied, "Enchantress, nothing is happening on the island as we speak and we cannot find Primoor or any of his P.O.U.R. flunkies anywhere, but our knights are watching everything for their arrival."
She looked at her large crystal ball and she replied, "P.O.U.R. has send messages to find the Descendants to Pridmoor Island to help with their takeover of Pridmoor Island, Black Knight."
"I understand, madam. What do you want me to do?"
"Get all of the knights ready to duel at anytime and get your deck ready. I'm sending you to our hideout at Pridmoor so you can ambush and capture those descendants. Bring your new apprentice in to duel one of them and then I'll send my apprentice knights to help with the capture once the duel is over."
He nodded as she left her chamber and she continued to watch her crystal ball and she sighed replied, "Where are you, you former monarch? You and that pathetic resistance group are the only things standing in our way of conquering this pitiful island. Once I crush your puny restitance group, the island and world will finally be mine!"

Ashleee's House
5:00pm
After we left the stadium and dropping off the love of my life, I was sitting on my bed in my room and I was staring at the deck I just won the tournament with. With the cards I won and ones Tony gave me, my deck was better then ever and then I looked at my trophy and let out a deep sigh and replied, "I'm so glad that's over for me now. Now me and my Dragon army can get some sleep."
She heard knocking at her and she replied, "Come on in."
The door opened up, my mom was there and she smiled and replied, "Feel good to be at home again, honey?"
"It really does. We've been through a lot and I'm glad to have you by my side, mom."
She smiled at that. She told that when I was only a year old, my so-called father left them and never come back. It devastated her mom, but she helped raised me to become the person I am today and we both got through it okay and they've stayed by each other's side ever since and then I saw her smile and replied, "You're a great woman, honey. So proud of your hard work as a duelist and everything else as well."
"Thanks for that, mom. After I'm done with my deck and have a short nap, can we order for some pizza for dinner?"
She nodded and then replied, "We can certainly do that tonight, honey. See you later."
She was about the close the door and then I put the box down and then replied, "Mom?"
her mother looked back at me and I smiled and replied, "I love you, mom. Thank you for everything."
She smiled back at me and replied, "I love you too, honey. Take your nap and I'll see you later."
She smiled and I walked up to her mother and hugged her and I smiled at her as she closed my door and I looked back at my deck again and I nodded and replied, "This deck is going to be more powerful then It ever was."

Underground Bunker / 9:00pm
Later that night in the bunker, the former king was at a large table with Malory and his bodyguard for him and his sons who's name was Wallace.
He looked at Malory and replied, "Did those invites make it to the states, Malory?"
She nodded and replied, "Of course, sir. They'll all get them sometime tomorrow morning."
"Good to here. Here's hoping that they can help us out here. I really don't know what we can do if they can't make it Pridmoor Island."
Malory sighed and replied, "Don't give up hope, sir. We'll find a way through this."

The Next Day
Ashlee's household / Dothan, Alabama

I was going over my revamped deck. I used the money and cards to make the perfect kind of dragon deck I always dreamed of finally using for myself and then I nodded and replied, "I really do love the way this deck is coming together."
We heard knocking at the door and my mom went to the door and she opened it and there was a tall male with brown hair and glasses walked in carrying a large brown envelope and this was my uncle Peter who was a mailman for Dothan and he looked at me and replied, "Hey, Blake."
"Hey, Uncle. What's up?"
He showed him the large envelope and replied, "This came from you in the mail and the it looks like it can from a island near Hawaii called Pridmoor."
Her mom grabbed it and he smiled and replied, "Call you later tonight, sis."
My mom smiled as he left and closed the door and then she nodded and replied, "I heard it's a beautiful island with a few villages and many other places to visit. We have to visit someday."
He handed her the envelope and she opened it and a letter was inside of it and she began to read it:
Dear Ashlee Sawyer of Dothan, Alabama,
We heard of your tournament win yesterday and we want to offer you a chance for you to visit Pridmoor Island! You'll be part of a dueling convention and the winning prize wil bel a lot of money, any 3 cards ever made (with some exceptions) plus a house of your own in our Pridmoor Village in the private area of the village. We really hope you can visit us. inside of this envelope is this letter and a smaller white envolope with a plane ticket that would be flying from Panama CIty Beach's airport in Florida. We really hope you make it here and if you cannot, send this envelope back to us and write your reason on a piece of paper and place it in this envelope. We hope to see you and other duelists sonn!

I nodded as I placed the letter back in the envolope and then I replied, "Really intresting indeed."
Her mom nodded and replied, "You'll be great in the tournament. As long as we can speak on the phone or laptop, I'll allow you to head to anywhere, including Pridmoor."
He nodded and replied, "Fair enough. I'll do it."
My mom looked at me and replied, "You'll show the world how great your dragon a
They nodded and left and Emmie then replied, "I'll have to call Jordan and tell her about this letter."

At that same time at Jordan's house down the road, she received the same letter with her name on it. Her mom and dad where there and her younger sister Trixie listened as she read the letter.
She then replied, "Sounds a once in a lifetime chance of greatness. I have to do this, guys."
Her dad (Derrick) nodded and replied, "I really hope you know what you're doing, baby girl. You're a great duelist. Do you really want to do this?"
She nodded and her mother (Who's name was Tanya) smiled and replied, "As long we can talk to you from that island, we'll allow you to go, hon. Show the island who has the best Dragon deck anyone can use!"
She smiled at her parents and Trixie only sighed and Jordan looked at her younger sister and replied, "What's up, Trix?"
She then replied, "I'm going to miss you while you're gone, sis. You're my older sister and I love you more then anything. Please, please be safe."
She only smiled as she walked up to her sister and hugged her and then she felt her cellphone moving in her pocket and she grabbed it and she answered and resumed, "Jordan here. Hey, sweets."
She smiled deeply and replied, "No damn way. This will make things so much more better for us. we can talk more later. Love ya."
She hung up the phone and she sighed and replied, "Ashlee got a invite as well."
Her mom smiled and replied, "You are so lucky to have her come with you, Jordan. Make sure you both watch over each other."
She nodded and continued to look at the letter.

Underground Bunker / 6:00pm
That evening in the dining area of the bunker, the former ruler was eating dinner with his group. Which included his sons, his treasure hunter Chester and a young black-haired lady named Mona that wants to be the best alchemist and scientist on Pridmoor. Malory was checking to see if the kids accepted the invites from Lord Pridmoor.
Riley sighed ans he looked at the taller guy wearing a chef's outfit and hat and he replied, "Nice cooking, Gastromoner. Your orange chicken with rice is really cooked well and very tasty as well. Really good job with the cooking."
The chef smiled at him. His real name was Gregory Montillman, but he was known by P.O.U.R. as the Gastromoner. His wife Melinda and 5 year old daughter Janey lived in the village in a protected part.
He nodded and replied, "I really do try my best, sir. I trained in some of the best restaurants all over the world and all that training helped me become the chef I really today, boss."
The former lord nodded as he looked at the map of Pridmoor Island and he sighed and replied, "Those knights can strike at anytime. We need to be ready for anything and everything."
The nearby door opened up and Malory walked and she smiled and replied, Our descendants accepted their invites to the island, sir. They're excited and happy to get to go together and they're getting ready right now as well."
"Good to hear that. Those kids are really strong duelists and what we need to get through everything."
She nodded and the Gastromoner replied, "Here is your meal, Malory. A small salad and a small plate of my famous baked salmon."
She smiled as sat down in front of the plate and she was happy that the Gastromoner even served vegan and vegetarian dishes as well (She was vegetarian that can enjoy seafood in her meals as well). She saw her food and replied, "This looks amazing."
He looked at Wallace and replied, "You and Malory wait for them outside of the airport and make sure none of the Enchantress's flunkies get to them before us."
He nodded as they continued to eat the dinner.

Pridmoor Island Airport/Seaport
3:30pm
I was so happy that we will be able to be together this whole time and then a few days later, We both arrived on a large bus that took them to the airport and then after a eight hour plane trip, we finally arrived at the airport. Unlike most airports, this one only had 3 landing areas and only 3 planes and the gang arrived in the best one the airport had. Our luggage was with us as well. Strangely enough, the whole place was abandoned. we both looked around and I then replied, "Anyone here to help us? What do we do now?"
Jordan then replied, "This is really really weird."
"Surrender to us, kids!", a voice was heard.
They looked to the eastern gate of the port and Black Knight and 3 Duel Spirits that looked 3 Archfiend Soldiers (ATK: 1,900 x3) where there and Black Knight let out a stange-sounding laugh and Jordan groaned and replied, "That really does sound annoying."
"Allow me to introduce myself. I'm known as Black Knight, a spy for the great master of the island known only as the Enchantress! I spy around the island and make sure nothing goes wrong for my mistress."
We both looked puzzled and then I replied, "We got these letters from some guy named Lord Pridmoor about meeting for a duel convention."
The knight let out another strange laugh and he replied, "That old fool made a plan to get you here and they chose one of the dumbest things I ever would of thought of getting you all here! He really is a old fool of a former king!"
We both looked really nervous and then he replied, "Now if there is anything else you kids want to say, We're capturing you kids before you have a chance to do any damage to the Enchantress or her island. Follow me and my knights and we'll head back there with no trouble."
I looked at him and replied, "We don't think so. If this is for nothing but trouble, we're heading home!"
The knight let out another laugh and then he replied, "We won't allow it. My knights captured the Pilot and co-pilot and they're the only ones on the island that know who to fly a plane in or out of this island. You're all trapped her and then follow my group now and they won't be any more trouble."
Jordan looked at him and replied, "We're not going with you, knighty. How about this deal?"
She raised her arm with the duel disk on it in the air and replied, "duel me and if I win, you leave us alone and if you win, I'll surrender myself to you and then leave my love alone."
I looked stunned at this and I know she is serious about this if she's risking herself to save me. I really do know she's the right person for me.
The knight nodded and replied, "You must really think you're that good of a duelist to do a wager like that. Fine, I accept. But, you'll duel my apprentice, kid."
He glowed and a portal opened up and a burst of ash and fiery embers flew out of it and a beautiful female wearing a red beautiful dress walked in Duel Spirit creature walked through it closed up (ATK: 1,300) and I nodded and then replied, "That's a Fire Princess."
She saw the knight and he looked back at her and replied, "You win this match and you'll be rewarded big time for your help. Our boss will make sure you get better cards and stuff, my friend."
She nodded as a duel disk made of fiery red metal appeared on her arm with a deck of cards in and a loaded Extra Deck and then she looked at us and spoke a royality-like voice, "Who might I be dueling in this duel?"
Jordan quickly raised her hand and she looked at me and she smiled and replied, "Mind if I take this one, hon? I'll make sure that she'll regret facing us in a duel."
I nodded and then smiled and resumed, "I want to see more of your deck, so go for it. Show this spirit how we Americans fight."
She smiled and as she faced the spirit and then replied, "I'll destroy anything you send my way."
The spirit nodded and resumed, "I'll show you how strong my deck is, kid."
"Fair enough, lady. Let's get this dueling done then."
Both activated their duel disks and both drew 5 cards.
"Game on!", both yelled out.

The spirit smiled and resumed, "Since your so confident in your dueling skills, you make the first move, kid."
She nodded and looked at her hand and then resumed, "I'll set a monster and a card and that's all for me."
She drew a new card and then resumed, "I summon my Molten Zombie."
She played the card and a Zombie-Pyro made of magma appeared in front of her (ATK: 1,600).
"Destroy the young lady's facedown monster."
It glowed as a burst of fiery embers shot out from its body and a giant yellow-skinned squid appeared on the card (DEF: 1,400) and the ember attack struck its body and it thrashed its tentacles around before it shattered to pieces.
"You sent a Fiend Kraken at me, young one? I guess my turn will be over."
Jordan drew a new card and then resumed, "I summon my Bubble Bass."
She played the card and a large bloated-like green-skinned fish appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Attack her monster."
The fish let out a burst of bubbles and they shot out and slammed and it moaned before it burst in a cloud of water vapor that dissipated moments later (Fire Princess LP: 8000 - 7800) and Jordan smiled and resumed, "When Bubble Bass crushes a monster, you take 400 damage as well."
Another burst of bubbles shot out and and slammed into her (Fire Princess LP: 7800 - 7400).
"Your move again, lady."
She drew a card and then resumed, "I'll set a monster and then i'll set a card card for later."
Jordan drew a card and resumed, "I summon my Space Mambo."
She played the card and a large blue alien-like fish appeared (ATK: 1,700).
"Lers do this. Mambo, attack."
The fish glowed as a burst of glowing white bubbles shot out and a UFO Turtle appeared on the card (DEF: 1,200) and the attack slammed into and smashed it into small pieces of hot metal and then she nodded and resumed, "I Special Summon my Molten Behemoth."
She played the card and a fiery rocky-like creature appeared (ATK: 1,000) and then Jordan saw the monster and her facedown monster and then he nodded and resumed, "I'm not hitting your facedown card, so I'll end my turn right here and now."
She drew a card and resumed, "Scared you, didn't I? I activate my facedown Metaverse."
She sighed as her trap appeared and she grabbed a field spell from her deck and then she quickly slid her card into the slot and resumed, "I activate my Molten Fortress."
Her field slot closed up and a large red fortress made of red volcanic stones and hardened magma appeared (ATK: 1,000 - 1,200).
"I'll switch Behemoth to defense and then I Can summon any Fire monster with one less tribute needed and that includes my Mr. Volcano."
She played the card and a fiery robed wizard-like Pyro appeared (ATK: 2,100 - 2,300) and then his rocky monster knelt (DEF: 2,200 - 2,400). I was amazed with this Field Spell. He can summon Fire monsters with one less tribute now and that made cards like Mr. Volcano actually have a use. I hated to admit it, but this field spell is really cool.
"I attack your Mambo!"
The Pyro glowed as a huge stream of hot flames shot and struck and roasted her fish to a crisp (Jordan LP: 8000 - 7400).
"There you go. I end my turn now."
She drew a card and resumed, "I'll switch my Mambo to defense and then I'll set a new monster facedown and a card facedown and that's all for me."
The Pyro drew a card and then resumed, "I summon my Darkfire Soldier #1."
She played the card and a fiery Pyro-like samurai appeared (ATK: 1,700 - 1,900).
"Soldier, attack!"
The Pyro went and swung his sword, cutting the Space Mambo in twain with one single fiery slice of his sword. The two pieces caught on fire and dissolved into ash.
"Mr. Volcano, attack!"
He smiled as a huge fiery storm of fireballs rained down on the field and a Mother Grizzly appeared on the card (DEF: 1,000) and the fiery attack rained down and blasted her bear to small pixelated pieces that flew around and Jordan nodded and resumed, "I Special Summon my Deepsea Macrotrema."
She played the card and a small red-skinned eel appeared(ATK: 500).
"I see now. I end my turn now."
She drew a card and resumed, "I summon my Ocean's Keeper."
She played the card and a orange fish warrior with a trident for a weapon appeared (ATK: 1,500).
"I now tribute it to Special Summon my Sharkraken."
The Fish warrior shattered to pixels as a strange Shark creature with small blue tentacles attached to its arm appeared (ATK: 2,400). I was intrigued about this deck of my sweeties. It's really strong and all of her monsters have been Water monsters and their group has some of the strongest monsters in the game."
"I now activate my facedown card."
The facedown card lifted up.
"It's called Fish Depth Charge and I tribute a Fish monster to destroy one of your cards and then drew a card as well."
The Deepsea Macrotrema glowed and it quickly shot out and slammed into her field spell and smashed into small pieces of red volcanic stone that turned to ash moments later (ATK: 1,900 - 2,100) - (ATK: 2,300 - 2,100) and then her giant monster glowed (ATK: 2,400 - 2,900) and then she drew a new card and she nodded and resumed, Also thanks to my small friend, my monster gains 500 attack."
The huge shark-like creature glowed (ATK: 2,400 - 2,900).
"Destroy his Soldier!"
The creature glowed let a huge burst of gushing water and it shot out and struck the soldier and it vanished in a cloud of black smoke (Fire Princess LP: 7400 - 6200).
"Your turn now, firebug."
"I always hated that silly name.", she muttered underneath her breath as she drew a card. "I'll switch Mr. Volcano to defense and then I'll set a new monster and that's all I can do right now."
Jordan drew a new card and resumed, "I activate my White MIrror to revive my Bubble Bass."
The spell appeared and the bloated fish appeared (ATK: 1,700) and then she grabbed another card from her deck and resumed, "I also get a copy of the same monster from my deck, but I'll keep that for later. Sharkraken, attack!"
The huge fish-like creature let another stream of water and it shot out and smashed through the Pyro-like Wizard and and he groaned and vanished in a fiery cloud of black smoke.
"Bubble Bass, attack!"
The huge fish let out a burst of bubbles and a fiery beast appeared on the card (DEF: 600) and the bubbles struck it and blew it to small pieces (Fire Princess LP: 6200 - 5800) and the Spirit smiled and resumed, "When Fencing Fire Ferret goes down in battle, one of your cards is destroyed and then you take 500 damage!"
The huge shark-like creature caught on fire before it burst into small blue shards and then flames covered her (Jordan LP: 7000 - 6500)
"Clever move. I end my turn now."
She drew a card and resumed, "I tribute my Behemoth and summon my Skeleblazer."
She played the card and a fiery giant skeleton-like creature made of orange bones and covered in fiery flames appeared (ATK; 2,200).
"Attack her Bass!"
The giant glowed as a fiery wave shot and a deep smell of cooked fish was smelled as the fish was cooked up (Jordan LP: 7400 - 7000) and the Spirit smiled and resumed, "Since it crushed a monster, you take damage for each fire monster in my graveyard and that are seven!"
Fire small fireballs shot out and slammed into her (Jordan LP: 6500 - 5800).
"There you go! I end my turn now."
She drew a card and resumed, "I'll switch my monster to defense and then I'll set another monster for later."
She smiled and drew a new card and resumed, "I summon my Blazing Inpachi!"
She played the card and the fiery giant appeared (ATK: 1,850).
"Skeleblazer, attack!"
It let out another blast of flames and her 2nd Bubble Bass appeared and (DEF: 1,000) and went up in flames and then 7 more fireballs slammed into her (Jordan LP: 5800 - 5100).
"Inpachi, attack!"
It swung its fist and a fireball shot out and a 2nd Mother Grizzly appeared on the card (DEF: 1,000) as the fireball slammed into it and blew it to pieces and she resumed, "I Special Summon my Torpedo Fish."
She played the card and a torpedo-shaped fish appeared (ATK: 1,000).
"You'll never get your Orca on the field! I end my turn now."
She drew a card and resumed, "I activate Akashic Record."
The spell appeared and she drew 2 cards and they were a Warrior of Atlantis and a Orca Mega-Fortress of Destruction and the Pyro moaned and resumed, "You are one lucky brat."
"I try to be. I'll discard my Warrior of Atlantis."
She discarded the card and quickly grabbed a card from her deck and then she opened her field slot and resumed, "I activate A Legendary Ocean!"
She slid the card into the slot and a wave of ocean water flooded the area (ATK: 1,000 - 1,200) and she smiled and drew a card as my Orca Mega-Fortress of Destruction appeared (ATK: 2,100 - 2,300).
"I'll destroy my Torpedo Fish to blast your Skeleblazer to bits!"
The fish flew into the cannon and fired and it shot out exploded around the giant Pyro and reducing it to a pile of charred bones.
"Attack her Inpachi!"
The Orca fired its cannons and the Pyro exploded in a burst of fiery embers & burnt timbers (Fire Princess LP: 5800 - 5350).
"Your turn now."
She drew a card and resumed, "I'll set a card and a monster and that's all for me."
She drew a card and resumed, "I summon my Amphibious Bugroth MK-3."
She played the card and a huge cannoned sub appeared (ATK: 1,500 -1,700).
"I hit you with a direct attack!"
The cannons fired as two large streams of water shot out and slammed into her (Fire Princess LP: 5350 - 3650).
Wow, this girl's dueling skills are really impressive. No wonder The Enchantress wants to keep on a eye on these kids., Black Knight thought to himself as he watched the duel continue on.
"Orca, attack!"
The huge creature fired its cannons and a Morphing Jar appeared on the card (DEF: 600) and the cannon attack blasted it to little pieces of rock and he discarded a card and both drew 5 cards and then resumed, "I'll set a card and that's all for me."
She drew a card and resumed, "I'll activate Fire Recovery."
The spell appeared and she discarded a Flame Champion as a Flame Ruler appeared (ATK: 1,500).
"I tribute it for my Infernal Flame Emperor!"
It vanished into fiery particles as the demon-like Pyro appeared with a roar (ATK: 2,700).
"I'll banish my Flame Ruler and a Molten Zombie to destroy your Field Spell and facedown card!"
The cards appeared and each dissolved into ash and her facedown Tornado Wall shattered to pieces and the ocean dissipated and returned them to the airport (ATK: 1,700 - 1,500) - (ATK: 2,300 - 2,100).
"I attack your Sub!"
The Pyro glowed with fiery energy as a huge stream of hot flames shot out and the intense heat melted the ocean machine into a pile of molten metal (Jordan LP: 5100 - 3900).
"Got you there! I end my turn now."
She drew a card and resumed, "I'll switch my monster to defense and then I'll set a new monster facedow and that's all for me."
The spirit drew a card and resumed, "I summon my Flamvell Grunika!"
She played the card and a fiery dragon appeared (ATK: 1,700).
"I attack your Orca!"
The dragon growled as a burst of flames shot out and struck her poor endangered creature. It let out a bellow of pain before it and its cannons exploded into shards and a burst of fire balls slammed into her (Jordan LP: 3900 - 3200).
"Attack her facedown monster!"
The Pyro let out a burst of flames and a armored young female warrior with a trident appeared on the card (DEF: 2,000) and was blown to shards as the flames struck her.
"Your move now, lady."

"I'll tribute a 7 Colored Fish and a Royal Swamp Eel for the offering."
A large eel and a colorful fish appeared and both dissolved into globs of water as the mighty Fortress Whale appeared with its cannons aiming at the spirit's side of the field (ATK: 2,350).
"I'm not done yet either. I play Silent Doom."
The spell appeared and the colorful fish appeared (DEF: 800).
"I now summon my Metabo-Shark."
She played the card and a large bloated shark with many fins and piercings appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"I'll return both Bubble Bass monsters."
She shuffled the cards into her deck and then resumed, "I overlay my Shark and 7 Colored Fish."
Both Fish monsters glowed as they turned into blue orbs and a portal opened up, which they turned into.
"I use these monsters to build the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon! appear from the deepest of oceans to take down your enemies! I Xyz Summon my Abyss Dweller!"
She played the card and a large shadowy-like serpent appeared with a loud hissing noise (ATK: 1,700 - 2,200) - (ATK: 2,350 - 2,850).
"Since my Xyz has a monster has a Xyz Material that is a water monsters, all water monsters gain 500 attack. I'll now banish a water monster to summon my Aqua Spirit."
She took her Deepsea Macrotrema and banished and water nymph-like creature appeared (ATK: 1,600 - 2,100).
"I give Aqua Spirit 1,000 attack with my Aqua Jet!"
The spell appeared and the Aqua glowed with even more power (ATK: 2,100 - 3,100).
"Lets do this! Abyss Dweller, attack!"
The huge serpent darted out and grabbed the Dragon with its large mouth and it roared before it burst into small red fragments that dissolved into ash (Fire Princess LP: 3650 - 3150).
"Aqua Spirit, attack!"
She smiled as a burst of bubbles shot out and slammed into the huge Pyro and it roared before it exploded in a fiery burst of flames and fiery embers (Fire Princess LP: 3150 - 2750).
"Fortress Whale, end this!"
The cannons fired and a blast of energy bolts and large cannons shot out and exploded around the Spirit and knocked her to the ground (Fire Princess LP: 2750 - 0).
Black Knight nodded and replied, "This kid a amazing duelist. Not even this lackey of mine could beat her."
The knight looked at the spirit as she slowly got up and the knight replied, "You tried and failed me. We'll chat about your failure later, Princess."
She groaned and then vanished in a burst of fiery embers & ash that floated everywhere and then he looked at the kids and replied, "Ready to come with me now, kids?"
I looked right at him and replied, "We had a deal and Jordan won the duel. Go away and Leave us alone."
The knight let out another laugh and replied, "You think I would keep my end of the bargain? Dream on, kid. Soldiers, capture them for me."
We both held each other as they drew their swords and as the foot soldiers were getting closer, we watched as a huge barrage of arrows shot out from the sky and impaled all 3 of the Fiends. They all shattered into pixels and Black Knight looked at the where the arrows came from and a tall knight, a female mage and 3 knights that were archers were there and Wallace drew his sword and replied, "Retreat now and we'll forget this incident ever happened, Black Knight!"
He sighed and replied, "You kids lucked out for now. I'll be back and you'll never beat me or my master."
A energy-filled portal opened up and he walked through it and it vanished and the gold armored knight then replied, "He's smarter then I think."
He put his sword away and then He looked at the kids and replied, "You the kids we invited to the island?"
We both nodded and Malory replied, "Follow us to a safe area away from Black Knight and his flunkies!"
We both nodded as we followed them out of the abandoned airport.
