Dante's POV

After a long and boring day at the PCPD I drove home to the loft, I saw that Lulu was home as I opened the door. The whole living room was trashed with things thrown about, clothes spread everywhere standing right in the middle of the mess was Lulu Spencer.

"Why do all the bad things happen to me?" Lulu cried, burying her head in her hands.

"Baby, what happened?" Dante looked around at the mess, walking towards his fiancee.

"Someone broke in here, when I came in everything was trashed. I took my engagement ring off last night when I was washing the dishes because I didn't want to mess it up, Dante my ring is gone. Please don't be mad at me." Lulu explained through her tears, hiding her face from me.

"Baby, look at me." Dante sighed, taking her hand in his.

"I'm looking." Lulu sniffed, her tearful eyes staring into his honey brown eyes.

"I'm not mad at you because you took your ring off to do the dishes. We'll be okay, at least whoever broke in didn't hurt one of us. I'll help you clean up the mess, come on." Dante took both of her hands in his.

"Look, I don't need you to take care of me. I can take care of myself." Lulu turned away from him.

"I'm tough." Lulu added, I had to fight myself not to chuckle.

"I know you are, baby. I know you can take care of yourself. I've seen you. You still do, you always will. I've just joined in, we take care of each other." Dante caresses her cheek.

"What did I do in life to deserve you?" Lulu smiled, wrapping her arms around him throwing herself into his chest.

"I think the real question is...what did I do to deserve you?" Dante chuckled, pulling her into a hug.

"You're really not mad at me?" Lulu peeked up at him.

"Baby, why would I be mad? It's a material thing. You got here before me, what if whoever did this had hurt you? Maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea for you to start carrying a gun." Dante glances down at her, worried.

"I know, I just feel horrible about it." Lulu sighed, putting her head against his chest.

"Come on, let's clean this up and then I'll cook us something to eat." Dante rubbed her back, as they broke apart.

"Okay." Lulu offers a small smile before they both put everything back in order. After they'd cleaned up the loft, Dante got to work in the kitchen.

"I'm sorry that I'm not much of a housewife."

Lulu frowned, taking a seat on the couch.

"Lulu, stop finding faults in yourself. I don't care about that, it's about who you are on the inside. I'm not with you because I want you to be my maid. Stop belittling yourself baby, you're a wonderful person." Dante sighs, sitting next to her pulling her into a hug.

"This thing with my dad...it's just really drained me Dante. I'm sorry, I know I haven't been all here lately. I'm just... really stressed out." Lulu buried her head into his chest.

"I know, your family has went through a tragedy, you lost your nephew and found out your dad unknowingly ran Jake over. Luke's drinking himself to death, you and Ethan are carrying the family on your shoulders right now. You're stressed out, I understand. I'm here for you, baby." Dante squeezed her hand.

"Thank you for understanding, I love you. I know I've been slacking on the wedding planning but, I promise I plan on being your wife." Lulu kissed him once.

"I love you, baby. It's okay, there's no rush." Dante returns her kiss, pulling her body into his.

"Can we just order takeout? Do we have money for that?" Lulu asked.

"Yeah, of course. You want a pizza?" Dante would give her what she wanted regardless if he had the money or not.

"That would be nice. You're a good cook but, I don't want you slaving over a stove tonight. I just wanna hang out with you, I'm going to change. I'm tired of wearing this dress, I need my sweats." Lulu kisses him before getting up, rifling through the drawers until she found black sweatpants and a matching black tank top.

"We can do that." Dante smiled at her, watching as she got undressed.

"You're such a guy." Lulu chided her fiancee shaking her head, even though she secretly enjoyed it.

"You love it." Dante chuckled, calling the pizza place and ordering the pizza. Lulu laid her head in Dante's lap, he began to stroke her blonde hair. A few minutes later the pizza came, they both grabbed a slice thanking God for each other's company.
