Kwik-E Love
Chapter 1: A Visit to the Kwik-E-Mart
I was outside of the Kwik-E-Mart, I was gonna get some chocolate and vanilla ice cream for the family. I enter to see Apu and his wife arguing. I hear Manjula say, "You've been working way too much! Spending too little with your family."
Apu groans and tells her that he has always been putting work before everything. Manjula tells him, "We're getting divorced tomorrow!" Apu sighs as his wife storms out of the store. I head to the freezer area and grab four containers of ice cream, two vanilla and two chocolate.
I go over to the counter and see Apu crying, "I heard what happened, I'm so sorry." Apu wipes the tears and says, "Tis nothing I can't handle, Mr. Simpson. Anyhow wanna buy that ice cream?" I pull out my wallet and give him the amount of money that was needed, "Hey Pu, Marge and I divorced last week."
He asks what I'm getting at, and I say, "I like you. I like you a lot." He looks at me confused, I tell him to meet me at the Krusty Burger after his divorce procedures are done.
