(A/N: This chapter is a little experiment since I downloaded the FanFiction app with my computer blown. I can't wait for Part 2 of Dragons Rising Season 1)
It was Lloyd's turn to feed Caelus since the others had their turn, some with disastrous results like the time he actually threw up in Jay's mouth, didn't like Nya feeding him rhubarb, Kai almost force-feeding him noodles and Geoff ending up with pumpkin in his hair. So, today was applesauce, as suggested by Dragon, who was fed applesauce by his father when he was Caelus' age.
As Caelus was in his highchair, waiting for his meal, Lloyd was looking at him while holding a small jar of applesauce and a teaspoon. "You're gonna be fine, Lloyd." Blake said as he came up to him and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"I'm not so sure about this, Blake." He replied. "I mean, what if Caelus doesn't like applesauce?"
"Just try to be kind or just funny, and he'll have it."
"Well, okay." Lloyd soon walked forward, knelt down to the height of the high chair, took a bit of applesauce into the spoon, he holds it out to Caelus, who turns away. "Come on, Caelus. It's applesauce. You'll like it." Caelus just moaned in refusal and turned away. Sighing, Lloyd thought about giving up, but then smiled. "Open wide, Caelus." He raises the spoon high as Caelus looked at it. "Here comes the airplane." He started to make airplane noises until Caelus opened his mouth and started to laugh, which allowed Lloyd to put the spoonful of applesauce in his mouth, and he closes his mouth to swallow it. "There you go."
He repeated the progress a few times, unaware that Kai, Zane, Nya and Blake were looking at them with Zane recording the little moment in his head. "That is so cute." Nya said.
"I told him he'd get it." Blake replied.
"Imagine the Green Ninja becoming a daddy one day." Kai said.
"All he just needs is the right woman." Nya replied.
Lloyd felt embarrassed when he heard Zane play the moment back to Cirrus, who awed at the sight of one of her friends feeding her son, but liked doing it regardless. And it took a few days, but Caelus started to warm up to other baby food flavours as well as being fed by the other Ninja, including Maggie, P.I.X.A.L. and Dragon.
