Corryn stretched in the passenger seat of the car. How much longer? She thought as she stared out of the window. Since her twin brother, Cadyn was driving, he got to play DJ. So naturally she had her earbuds in, wanting to listen to her own music. She tapped her foot to the beat, leaned against the window. Cadyn was a good enough driver, and Corryn wasn't actually in the mood to drive, so it worked out well that he had volunteered. Eventually, they arrived at their new home in Lima, Ohio. Corryn glanced at the generic-looking two-storey house that she would now be calling home.

"Well, I guess this is it," Cadyn said as he pulled into the driveway.

"Yeah, I guess so," Corryn agreed as she climbed out of the car. She stretched her arms and legs. They had been sent ahead of their parents, who had to help the movers finalise everything in the moving van.

"Well, nothing to do now but wait," Cadyn said.

"Pass me the keys." Corryn said as she held out her hand. "I wanna check this dump out."

"Sure." Cadyn said nonchalantly, as he tossed his twin sister the keys to their new home.

Corryn tucked her blonde hair behind her ear as she made her way into the house. She was a natural brunette, but since last year she had been getting highlights. Corryn wasn't thrilled about the move, but she was used to it. Her father was the Sergeant Major of the Army, just recently got promoted and it came with the oh so lovely move. Corryn had been at her previous school the longest, and had just started to feel like she belonged, when she got ripped away again. Her parents assured her this would be more permanent, but she'd believe that when she saw it. Corryn walked around the house, it was decent enough. She eyed the bigger bedroom, it was nice, but she knew it would go to Cadyn. He was the golden boy, the apple of their parents' eye. He was basically a pro basketball player, just had to finish junior and senior year then go pro. Corryn on the other hand, was a major screw up. From bad grades to sneaking out to partying, Corryn did it all. So, she resigned herself to the smaller room. She stepped inside, and saw that it wasn't actually that bad. There was a little nook that would fit her bed perfectly and looked super cosy. The bedroom was painted pink, that would have to change.

Corryn sighed as she heard a car horn honking, her parents were finally there. She went downstairs, knowing she'd be expected to help unpack. Her plan was just to unload her stuff then get out of there and explore the small town she'd be stuck living in for the foreseeable future.

SYOC Submission Rules & Information

Thanks for checking out my story. This is, obviously, a Glee SYOC.

I'm looking for a cohesive group of characters! Which is why instead of posting the character form, I'm going to ask for you to send me your character ideas first and if approved I'll send you the character form.

I would also like some Warblers, and Vocal Adrenaline members - if you can find a way to fit them into the plot.

When making characters, remember, this is an ensemble story, so I need characters that can mesh well and work off of each other. This does not mean that they have to be similar!

If you have any questions - please feel free to ask!

The first chapter takes place August 20th - approximately a week before school starts.
