Hey guys and Gals, CMBasher7 here with another fanfic that I created just cause I felt like doing something like this since yesterday.
This Idea just came to me while I was watching some Skylanders just a couple of days back (Friday, Saturday Sept 1st)
Anyways you know the drill, I don't own anything Skylanders or Familiar of Zero, except for my own characters.
Earth, Year: 2014, Morning...
We start our story off in a multi-story apartment in California. In one of the rooms of the apartment, we transition from the door outside to the apartment room itself.
We see a tall and lanky 16 year old Japanese-American male teenager with wild black hair and has rare white eyes. We see him wearing a pair of aviator goggles on his wild black hair. He wears an open hoodie that has a symbol of a fireball, a water droplet, a mountain, a swirl, a star, a skull, a gear, and leaves on the front with a sun on the inner left and a moon on the inner right of the circle with the words "Skylanders" written on the back, underneath the hoodie we see that he wears a white shirt. We also see that he wears a pair of blue jeans and a pair of blue and white tennis shoes. This is Yu Hiro.
In his hands was a 3DS with something strange next to it, it was a small, thick, flat circular stone pedestal and surrounding the pedestal, was a series of symbols that looked similar to the ones on Yu's hoodie.
Yu was what you would call a Skylanders fanatic when the game was release, he had loved the game ever since he bought the first one and since then he had played and replayed all the games, he had collected all the Cores Skylanders, Minis, Giants, Swap Force, Trap Team, Traptanium, SuperChargers, Their Vehicles, and the Sensei's, he had read all the books, handbooks, graphic novels, and guides, and had watched every single episode of Skylanders Academy that he knows all the episodes by heart.
He was just done replaying Spyro's Adventure on his 3DS with his portable Portal of Power and was ready to go back to bed. Once he had made it back to the level selection, he turned off the device and stored his Portal of Power into his pocket before making his way down his hallway towards his bedroom.
"I beg of you…"
Yu paused in his movement and looked around his apartment, wondering if he was hearing things.
"My servant who lives somewhere in the universe!"
Yu was sure that the voice founded like a female, and it sounded very desperate, he then saw something appear right in the middle of his hallway, a green ethereal portal.
"Eh...?" That was all Yu's brain could think to say at the moment.
"Oh sacred, beautiful, and strong familiar spirit!"
Yu then felt something pulling him closer and closer towards the portal.
"I desire and here I plead from my heart!"
Yu then soon noticed that his body was being pulled closer and closer to the portal without his doing and he started to freak out, he grabbed the edge of the hallway, but the portal's strength continued to pull on his as he soon lost grip and continued to get pulled closer to the portal.
"Answer to my guidance!"
"W-Wait!" Yu tried to stop himself but the moment his hand had hit the swirling vortex his body was quickly sucked in as he traveled through a tunnel of shifting colors, screaming.
As Yu Hiro was flying through inside the swirling portal, sparks were coming out of his portable Portal of Power in his pocket as it began to glow and soon disappeared in a flash of light as Yu's rare white eyes began changed into ever-shifting colors of fiery red, earthly brown, oceanic blue, windy azure, leafy green, rotting grey, mystical purple, mechanical orange, shining yellow, and shadowy black.
'Oh, I don't feel to good right now.' Yu thought as he soon fainted from being tossed around inside the portal and what had just happened to him.
But before Yu passed out he swore he could hear Master Eon's voice calling out to him saying, "Go, Young Portal Master, protect this new world alongside the Skylanders."
Earlier that day, ???...
In the hallowed halls of Tristain Academy of Magic, anticipation filled the air as students gathered to witness the familiar summoning ritual. Among the young magicians stood Louise Françoise Le Blanc de La Vallière, or Louise for short, a girl whose magical abilities, or lack thereof, had earned her the nickname of 'Louise the Zero.' And, despite the mockery she faced from her peers, Louise was determined to prove them wrong by summoning a powerful familiar.
Louise was a petite girl in both height and… womanly development if you know what I mean. She was the image of a dainty doll in every sense of the word, with fair skin and bright pink hair. Her rosy pink eyes were narrowed in focus, but also brimming with worry and desperation.
"The day has finally come for the Summoning Ritual. This is the first test for you all now have advanced to the second-year at the Tristan Academy of Magic." A man named Jean Colbert said. "And the sacred first day where you will finally met your familiars with whom you will spend your life with living as a nobleman."
Suddenly, popping from behind Louise was a tall, young woman with long, red hair, large breasts, and brownish-gold eyes. On her neck lays a gold necklace-like ring and wears a black cloak pinned into a pin with the symbol of the academy. She wears a white, fitted, long-sleeved blouse, which leaves her large bust exposed. She wore black, short skirt and a pair of long, gold boots which reaches her skirt. This is Kirche von Zerbst.
"All set, Louise?" Kirche taunted Louise. "I am looking forward to what kind of amazing familiar you will summon."
"Leave me alone." Louise said, annoyed by Kirche's presence.
We soon see many students perform the summoning ritual as they summoned their very own familiars. One of the students summoned a floating purple-skinned eye known as a Bugbear, which amazed many of the other students who took notice.
But some others were not impressed, such as a young lady with blond, curly long hair and blue eyes. There is a large, red ribbon tied around her hair. Like other students, she has the same format of clothing, though she has some alterations. Instead of white socks, she wears stocking-like socks reminiscent to those of Louise and wears black school shoes. This is Montmorency de Montmorency.
"If I ended up with a strange familiar like that, I'd be embarrassed for the rest of my life." Montmorency said, not impressed by the male student's familiar.
Sliding next to Montmorency was a handsome looking teen with blonde hair and blue eyes. He wears a white, ruffled-collar blouse underneath a black, long cloak where his collar rests on and his chest is shown and wears a pair of violet pants. He carries an artificial rose which serves as his wand. This was Montmorency's boyfriend, Guiche de Gramont.
"You needn't worry, my darling, I'm utterly sure that you will summon quite the cute familiar, Montmorency." Guiche complimented and told his girlfriend that she would summon something cute.
"Well, that goes without saying."
"They do say that the familiar that comes to the summoner is the one that suits them the best in every way." Guiche tells Montmorency. "Someone like me will all but likely-"
"Next up." Colbert suddenly interrupted Guiche.
"Beg your pardon?" Guiche said, surprised to be interrupted during his speech. Before he soon stepped up to the teacher and spoke, "That would be me, Mr. Colbert. I am Guiche de Gramont. Observe as I now summon the most finest and most brilliant familiar in the entire history of this institution and then my fame will spread all across the land."
But it seemed that Colbert wasn't having it today. "Enough with the speeches already, there's a lot of people waiting."
"Of course." Guiche said as he soon cleared his throat and began his summoning chant. "Brimir, Our Grand Creator that always guides us when we are in need, the strong and noble one who will become a servant of Guiche the Brass."
Soon a large rumbling could be heard beneath the feets of everyone at Tristan.
"Come fourth now and answer my divine summon!" Guiche finished his summoning chant.
Soon appearing out of the grounds, was Guiche's familiar, a large brown-furred mole with scarlet eyes, shocking and confusing Guiche.
Later on, we see many students with their summoned familiars, some had avians, others had felines and snakes, whilst Guiche just sat next to his large mole, eyes sparkling at it's summoner.
Guiche soon heard the sound of fire cackling and turned to see that Kirche had summoned a small-medium sized red salamander with a pale red underbelly with a burning tail.
"A Salamander? Kirche summoned that?!" A Student said surprised.
"If you don't mind my say." Professor Colbert said. "You have summoned quite the familiar there haven't you, Ms Zerbst."
"Thanks, Mr. Colbert. It fits my code name perfectly. Kirche the Fever." Kirche said with a smirk.
"All right then, was that everyone?" Professor Jean Colbert questioned as he looked around for whoever might have not performed the ritual yet.
Kirche smiles cunningly at that. "No, not quite, we still have Miss Valliere to go." She says as she looks toward Louise who was somewhat hidden amongst some of the students, who takes notice of what her hated rival did there, and looks at her with frustration. In all honesty, Louise knew she wouldn't be able to avoid this anyway, but still hates the fact.
Taking a big breath in, she gathers her courage and goes in the open space in the middle.
"Louise The Zero!" A student said. "What will she summon?" Another one questions. "There is no way she can summon anything. Just another explosion as usual." And that's just some of the chatterings that was going by in the background, against the thought that she will succeed in the ceremony.
The red-haired Kirche at the moment was crouched down and petting her Fire Salamander on the head, while teasingly keeping her eyes on Louise. "After all that boasting, you will surely summon something more amazing than this little guy here. Right, Louise?"
"Well of course!" Louise says attempting to sound sure for herself.
But in reality, of course, she couldn't be more scared on the inside. She tries to keep strong... And hopes that this time it will be different.
"I beg of you..." She silently says in prayer, before gripping her wand more firmly. She then closes her eyes, and raises her wand till it points toward the sky and began her chant. "My servant who lives somewhere in the universe!"
That had caught and caused the students' attention and confusion.
"What's with that spell?" Montmorency says with a raised eyebrow at the summoning chant.
"Well, it sure sounds original." Guiche said standing right next to her.
That moment though, something happens that draws everyone's surprised attention. From above the handle of Louise's wand, the entire shaft was glowing with an unnatural swirling of black and white colored energies. Even the usually uncaring blue-haired Tabitha takes her eyes off her book to look at the surprising phenomenon that currently occurs before everyone.
"It will explode, keep your distance!" A student says alarmed which causes the rest to back away a bit farther to keep a safe distance.
Louise continues, with her eyes still closed and unaware of everything else around her. "My servant who lives somewhere in the universe! Oh sacred, beautiful, and strong familiar spirit! I desire and here I plead from my heart!"
The glowing on the shaft intensifies, and is now also surrounded by red and golden electricity of powerful levels. Louise feels it now. The intense power coursing through her whole being, before being directed into the wand she holds in her hand, that gives her a strange, yet calming reassurance. She knows she can do this- No! She WILL do this.
The pink-haired girl finally opens her eyes, now filled with great determination. "Answer my guidance!"
With a swing of the wand forward, Louise had finished her summoning chant, and an explosion soon rang out as a cloud of smoky ash was sent into the air to no one's surprise. No one in the area seemed to take notice the multitude of random, yet beautiful assortment of colors flying away from the explosion high above in the clouds towards other places.
"I told you that was going to happen." A student says coughing up smoke.
Guiche also coughed out some smoke before he noticed the downed Montmorency and quickly got down to help pick her up. "Are you all right, Montmorency." He soon noticed that she was not looking at him and was focused on something else. "Is something wrong, my love?"
Guiche watched as Montmorency lifted a finger and pointed at where Louise was standing.
Guiche soon turns to see where Montmorency is pointing and noticed that Louise is standing before what appears to be a small crater, inside the crater was a tall and lanky teenage creature in the crater once the smoke begins to settle.
In Louise's eyes we see her trying to figure out what she had summomed. She notices that it has wild black hair, and the strangest set of clothings she had ever seen in her life, because on it's back was the words that Louise could make out that read out as "Skylanders", whatever that was, and beneath the words was 10 symbols, all of which she could easily recognize as a ball of fire, a drop of water, a rocky mountain, a swirl that made her eyes dizzy, some leaves, a jawless skull, a strange circular teeth's with three holes inside, an 8-pointed star, and what looked like a sun and a crescent moon. It was not apparent to everyone else, but this was Yu.
"A-A human." A student says shocked.
"Looked how he's dressed, he looks like a peasant." A nasally student says.
"Yeah, a peasant. There's no doubt about it." Guiche said agreeing with the nasally student.
For Louise, her eye was twitching as she couldn't believe that she, of all people, had summoned a peasant as a familiar.
"That's supposed to be... my divine and beautiful and wise and powerful familiar?" Louise questioned the unconscious Yu, who was beginning to wake up.
"Ugh, my head.I feel like a bunch of Chompies have been going crazy inside of my brain." Yu suddenly spoke out as he turned around and stood up, rubbing his head in a strange language catching Louise's attention. Yu then began to look around. "Uh, Where... am... I?"
He then noticed Louise standing before him and gave a sheepish grin, but not to sheepish to freak Hugo out.
"Don't you understand our language?" Louise questioned wondering what the peasant was saying.
Yu's response was a tilt of his head and a raised eyebrow giving off the expression of confusion.
"Where do you come from?" Louise questioned where Yu came from.
Yu had quickly realized that if he couldn't understand her than she probably couldn't understand him so he decided to play charades, he first pointed at his eye, then mouthed the words "cannot", before cupping his ear in her direction, before finally pointing at her.
"You cannot understand me?" Louise questioned, Yu was able to quickly decipher what she was saying and nodded his head.
"Um, Mr. Colbert, I cannot understand my... familiar." Louise glared at her would-be familiar. Causing Yu to flinch and wonder why she was so mad at him.
"Oh, is that so? Well then, let me help." Colbert said as he walked over to Yu and pointed his wand at his throat and chanted the words, "Ansur Ver Ang."
There was a moment of long silence between Louise, Yu, and Colbert as each waited for the other to speak. There was some coughs from Yu, before he finally broke the awkward ice.
"So... was something suppose to happen or?" Yu said as Louise, Colbert, and the students could finally understand what he was saying.
"There we go." Colbert said with a smile.
"Finally, with that out of the way. Can I please retake the test, Mr. Colbert." Louise begged to retake the test.
"I'm afraid there are no exceptions, Ms Vallière. Peasant boy notwithstanding, please continue with the ritual."
"What?!" Louise questioned.
'Ritual?' Yu questioned what was even happening to him right now.
"Finish the ritual or I'll be forced to summarily expel you from this institution." Colbert tells Louise that she must finish the ritual or else be expelled.
"Yeah, you tell her!"
"I guess I have no choice." Louise said, dejectedly that she has to have some peasant boy as her familiar.
All the while, Yu just sat there confused about everything that has happened to him so far. First he was sucked into a swirling vortex just when he was about to go to bed, then he is suddenly taken to medieval era where the bald guy had used a stick to make him understand their language.
"Go for it, Louise!" Kirche teased the girl. Which had caught the boy's attention.
"Huh, go for... what?" Yu said as he looked around trying to figure out where he was.
"You should be thankful for this, normally someone of noble birth would never do something like this for a peasant boy." Louise said as she then pointed her wand in the air and began to finish the contract. "My name is Louise Françoise le Blanc de la Vallière." She then pointed her wand at his forehead.
"Uh, nice to meet you, Louise. I'm Yu, Yu Hiro." Yu introduced trying to make his situation less embarrassing for himself. He watches as Louise crouches down in front of him onto her knees.
"Oh Pentagon that rules of five powers, bless this individual and make him my familiar." Louise finished her chant.
"W-Wait. What's going on?" Yu said as he tried to find someway out as Louise placed her hands behind his neck.
Louise soon gave Yu a kiss on his lips, stunning him as his eyes goes wide. She then soon stopped her kiss and pulled away.
But as Louise was moving away from Yu, she became mesmerized when she saw Yu's frightened color-shifting eyes, noting how they always slowly changed into only 10 different colors: purple, brown, blue, red, orange, grey, azure, green, yellow, and black before repeating or changing to a color in the pattern she had already seen before. And she couldn't deny how beautiful his eyes looked when she stared at them.
"U-Uhhhhh... What... just happened?" Yu questioned as he blinked repeatedly as he questioned why he was kissed by an adorable-looking girl.
"Congratulations, the contract has been completed. The bond has been made." Colbert said, congratulating Louise on finishing the contract.
Soon Yu felt an intense burning sensation on his hand, as he quickly let out a scream in pain, before he suddenly stopped screaming as the intense pain just suddenly... disappeared, but not the burning sensation it felt like all the heat from the burning had just vanished into thin air.
"Huh?" Yu said, confused as to why the burning de station stopped but the pain still kept going.
Yu then looked at his hand and saw that there was what looked to be words being formed onto the back of his hand, and not only that, but he could make out a faint cooling blue color emanating from around the words outline. He swore he could see a symbol that looked like a familiar drop of water appearing above the back of his hand.
Yu soon passed out.
Later that day...
Yu soon begins to wake back up, but he was now resting on a pile of hay in the middle of a fancy looking medieval room.
Yu began to look around the room he was in, curious about his new surroundings and confused on how he got here, and what had happened when the burning sensation disappeared.
"So you finally decided to wake up." Louise voice called out getting his attention. He soon freaked out as he noticed that she was standing right next to him.
"Boogadewha!" Yu sputtered random nonsense and as he tumbled away from Louise.
"I've thought long and hard about it, and I've decided to give up and have you as my familiar. You should be honored." Louise said as she walked away from Yu.
"H-Hey, wait a minute! I never agreed to be your familiar! Whatever the heck that is, and another thing when do you get to decide my fate." Yu questioned as his eyes turned a burning red as he stood up onto his feet. "And where have you taken me?!"
"I want to go back home! If you don't take me back then-" Yu shouted but stopped once he noticed that Louise was closing her closet door and was now removing her skirt, which dropped to the floor as she was now unbuttoning her shirt.
"WAH!" Yu screamed out as he covered his eyes with a blush. "W-What are you doing?! Are you forgetting there's a human male here, you pervert!"
That word had quickly caught Louise's attention as she turned to stare at Yu with an angered glare. "Pervert?! I am no pervert, familiar!"
"Yeah? Well then why are you undressing in front of me, pervert?" Yu asked his eyes still covered as he was not looking at Louise.
"I was taken them off so you can wash and iron them!" Louise said as she finished unbuttoning her shirt, revealing that she had a white night dress underneath.
"WHAT?! I am not your butler, do it yourself!" Yu shouted as he turned around to face away from Louise.
"Aaagh! Can you be quiet?! You are so annoying! I can't hear myself think!" Louise shouted as she covered her ears, she then had a brilliant idea. 'I should use that silence spell I learned last year."
Louise grabbed her wand off of the table and pointed it at Yu, who heard Louise begin to chant as he uncovered his eyes and looked at Louise's wand as she chanted, "Ansur Ver Ang, notice the tracks and answer my requests right away. Silence!"
An explosion soon emanated from Louise's wand and smoke filled where Yu was standing at the moment. Yu soon began to cough out smoke from the former's explosion.
"Are you, cough, trying to kill me?! I swear I wouldn't mind Spyro appearing and charging straight at you." Yu said to Louise, and once he did, his eyes and pure white shirt soon turned mystical purple once he had said the word, "Spyro".
And soon, appearing in-between Louise and Yu, was a purple circular disk, inside the disk was a purple 8-pointed star, the disk began to shake and crack before exploding in purple sparkly smoke, though not a big one and causing the two to be knocked back by the force of the explosion.
When the two looked back up, they both were stunned to see a medium-sized, purple-scaled, four-legged dragon with red eyes, white claws on 3-digit paws, an orange underbelly, and a row of orange spikes that trail down his back to his tail. The purple dragon has a pair of bat-like wings with orange membrane in between each wing fingers. The tip of the dragon's tail is orange and multi-layered, meaning that it's tail is layered on top of one another. The purple dragon also has a pair of curled orange horns in-between a Mohawk of orange spikes on his head.
"S-Spyro?" Yu stuttered in surprise to see the dragon who started the Skylander's franchise.
The purple dragon soon turned to look at Yu, with the latter flinching hoping he didn't piss of the Dragon. But then the purple dragon gave a smirk.
"That's my name. Don't burn it out." Spyro the Dragon said with a grin towards Yu.
"H-How? Why?! Huh?" Yu stuttered multiple times wondering how this had happened.
"How do you want that phrased, Hmm? Oh, how about: How awesome I am? Why I am so handsome? Or, Huh, he looks much cooler in person?" Spyro gave Yu answers that only seemed to feed the dragon's self-ego.
All the while Louise was watching as her familiar and this strange purple dragon were just having a normal conversation before her like the latter's sudden appearance didn't matter. She soon stood up and demanded answers.
"Excuse me, but how are you not freaking out about a wild dragon being in my room!? In fact, How did you get into my room?!" Louise questioned on how Spyro even got into her room.
Before Yu could answer, Spyro beat him to the punch. As he soon flew up to Louise' face and gave a hard glare at the young mage and her attitude.
"Excuse me, princess. I am not a wild dragon, unless someone throws a really awesome party. Plus, I only arrived here because He called out my name." Spyro said as he poked a talon into Louise's flat chest before pointing it at Yu. "By the way, I'm Spyro. Spyro the Dragon, greatest dragon in all the lands." He introduced himself to Louise with an opened clawed hand.
The moment that Spyro said that her familiar, Yu, had called out the dragon's name. Her mind began to try and connect the dots that she understood.
"Wait, you said that my familiar summomed you, a-are you his familiar. D-Did I just make a noble my familiar?!" Louise was now freaking out at the idea of summoning another person of nobility as her familiar.
Yu and Spyro looked at each other, then at Louise, then back at each other.
"Do you know what's going on Spyro?" Yu asked confused about this whole situation.
"I'm as clueless as you are buddy." Spyro said with a shrug of his shoulders. "I don't even understand half the words she is saying."
"So mind telling me how I was able to summon you?" Yu asked trying to figure out how he was able to bring Spyro here.
"Like I said, you called out my name and I appeared." Spyro gave the basics of how Yu brought Spyro here.
"Can I send you back to Skylands, or are you stuck here?" Yu questioned, hoping that he didn't trap the purple dragon here, wherever "here" was.
"I think so, try saying my name and then, "Return"." Spyro tried to help Yu out with his newfound powers.
"Okay. Spyro, Return." Yu said and soon Spyro was teleported away from Louise's room in a flash of light. "Coool, I wonder. Appear, Spyro."
Spyro soon appeared in a flash of light where he was last standing, flapping his wings once to slow his landing, completely fine and unharmed. All the while, Louise had not payed attention.
With Colbert...
We soon see Jean Colbert in the library with a bunch of books surrounding him. We hear him turning some pages of a book before his attention is caught by a single page.
"This is it. But that's impossible." Colbert said as we soon see that it's the same runes on Yu's hand. "As a precaution I will have to inform the principle."
With Yu, Spyro, and Louise...
We soon cut back to Yu, Spyro, and Louise, with Yu and Spyro sitting on the pile of hay and Louise standing in front of the two.
"So, let me get this straight, this is the magical kingdom of Tristain on the continent of Halkeginia." Yu said as Spyro sat next to him.
"Mhm." Louise nodded and hummed multiple times.
"And you are a second-year student at the magical institute." Spyro said with a raised eyebrow. Being called a second-year student had caught her attention.
"I will not allow a familiar such as you to take such formal tone with me." Louise tells the Purple Dragon. "My name is Louise. Louise Françoise le Blanc de la Vallière."
"But I'm not a familiar." Spyro muttered underneath his breath.
"Yeah, right." Yu said with a nod of his head. "And like I said before you.., nervous cough, kissed me, Louise. I'm Yu. Yu Hiro. Anyways, so I'm supposed to be this familiar that you summoned that all these mages tow around to help them with their magic, at least that much I know from watching movies and reading books."
"Yes, now tell me how you were able to summon this dragon of yours as your familiar." Louise demanded answers for how he was able to summon Spyro and if she could replicate it.
"Well, I don't know how I did that, all I know is that one moment I am going to bed in my apartment with my Portal of Power in... my... pocket." Yu said before his eyes slowly widen as he began to pat down his pants, not feeling his portable portal of power. "Where is it?! Where's my Portal of Power! It was in my pocket when I had it."
"Portal of... Power?" Louise questioned the words her familiar used not familiar with them.
Thankfully Spyro answered for Louise. "The Portal of Power serves as a transport pedestal to take us, the Skylanders, to other areas or distances through the power of a Portal Master."
"Okay, and what is a Skylander exactly?" Louise questioned what a Skylander actually is. "And what is a Portal Master."
"We're only the greatest legendary heroes ever known, we're protectors and champions in the world of Skyland." Spyro explained what a Skylander is. "We defend our world from the forces known as The Darkness, the ultimate force behind all kinds of evil."
Louise felt a shiver run up her spine once Spyro had mentioned how The Darkness was the cause of all evil.
"As for what a Portal Master is, they are highly revered, and most powerful beings in Skylands that can control the Portal of Power at will. They are considered to be the wisest and most powerful beings in the universe, protecting Skylands from The Darkness for centuries." Spyro explained the role of a Portal Master.
Sufficient to say, Louise was surprised to hear what her familiar's role was and even more so to hear that the Portal Masters were considered to be the wisest and most powerful beings.
'Take that Kirche, I summoned something even better than a griffin or a dragon, I summoned a Portal Master as my familiar.' Louise thought with glee in her tone that her summoning chant had actually been proven true: for she had summoned a familiar that is wise, powerful, beautiful, and divine.
Meanwhile, Yu was trying his best to find where his portable Portal of Power had gone, before he began to make connections in his mind.
'Hmm, could it be that... during my transport here, the Portal of Power in my pocket had fused with me allowing me to summon Skylanders at my beck and call?' Yu theorized that That was how he was able to summon Spyro in the first place.
"Hey, Spyro, I'm gonna get some fresh air and clear my head, you wanna come?" Yu asked the purple dragon.
"Sure, I don't have anything else to do today." Spyro said as he and Yu soon made their way to Louise's door and walked out.
And once Louise had opened her eyes she saw that both Yu and Spyro had both disappeared, she soon heard the sound of a creaking door and noticed that her door was wide open.
"Did my familiar just run away? You've got to be kidding me?" Louise questioned even though she was completely wrong at the moment she soon gave chase to her run-away familiar.
With Yu and Spyro...
We soon see Yu and Spyro walking down the spiraling staircase, talking to one another. Yu was having a difficult time now that he was a bonified Portal Master, and he tried to tell Spyro that he couldn't be one.
"Listen Spyro, I am not a Portal Master." Yu said to Spyro trying to disprove himself of being a Portal Master.
"But you are, you summoned me and brought me here." Spyro countered that Yu WAS a Portal Master.
"I know, but that was an accident, I didn't even know I could do that. L-Listen, I don't know if you understand this but back home, your just toys."
"Yes, I understand, because Kaos had destroyed the Core of Light which sent me to your world as a toy." Spyro explained as he didn't realize that he was just a simple lifeless toy.
"No, I mean. Agh, just forget it." Yu said, dropping the conversation as he realized that he wouldn't be able to change Spyro's or any of the other Skylander's mindset.
The two soon walked out into another hallway, but Yu noticed some people standing near the entrance and stopped Spyro from exiting the door.
The two peaked around the corner and spotted Guiche with a girl with blue eyes, long brown hair, and was seen wearing a brown cloak.
'Now what's going on here?' Yu thought as he was sure that this kid was with another girl earlier in the morning. He began to listen in on their conversation.
"I've been told that I'm very good at baking soufflés." The girl with the brown cloak said.
"I would love to have a chance to sample your soufflé." Guiche said.
The girl gasped with excitement. "You really mean that?"
"Yes, of course I do Katie." Guiche complimented the girl, now named Katie. "Don't you know by now that I would never lie to you?"
"Oh my, Guiche." Katie said absolutely love struck by Guiche's words.
"There is absolutely nothing hidden behind my feelings for you." Guiche said with his charming smile.
All the while, Yu was trying to figure out a way to get past Guiche and Katie, he soon had a lightbulb moment,
"I think I have an idea on how to get pass them. Spyro, Return." Yu whispered and in a flash, Spyro was gone. "Appear, Ghost Roaster." As soon as he said that his purple eyes and shirt changed to a rotting grey color.
Soon appearing next to Yu, was a grey circular disk, inside the disk, was a jawless skull with asymmetrical eye sockets, it's teeth were also misshapen and crooked, the disk soon exploded into a cloud of ghostly smoke.
Appearing next to Yu, was a legless Skeleton wearing a tattered sleeved black leather suit with a red neck collar thats ends drooped down and exposes the outline of his rib cage. The Skeleton has four fingers on each boney hand. The creature had no legs, only a tail that ends with a spiked ball and chain. His skull had three short spikes coming out of his head and his eyes were a bright yellow as his eye color was a orange color. His mouth was filled with sharp, pointy teeth.
"No Chain! No Gain! Ahahahah-!!" Ghost Roaster cackled as he announced his catchphrase before Yu's hand quickly covered his mouth and motioned for his to keep quiet.
Yu then quietly pointed at Guiche and Katie then motioned for them to scare them off. Ghost Roaster give a boney thumbs up and activated his Ectoplasm Mode ability, turning intangible as he soon phased through the floor and made his way towards Guiche and Kate.
As Katie and Guiche were talking, Katie soon noticed something coming out of the wall behind Guiche and paled as a skeletal face soon phased through the wall, grinning like a madman.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" Katie let out a terrified scream as she quickly ran away in terror at seeing Ghost Roaster's face.
This greatly confused Guiche as looked at the fleeing Katie, he then looked at the wall where Katie was looking, but found nothing there and as he did so, he took notice of Yu quickly passing by him.
Guiche then sees Louise come running down the stairs, fully dressed, huffing and panting as she made her way to the hallway.
"Oh, Louise. You're familiar went that way." Guiche said pointing in the direction he last saw Yu.
"Why didn't you go and catch him?"
"Me?" Guiche asked as he pointed at himself.
"Yeah, he ran away."
"The one you sealed the contract with? I'd expect nothing less from your familiar, Louise. Common sense doesn't apply to it." Guiche said, treating Yu as less than human.
"Don't be impressed by him, just help me!" Louise shouted at Guiche to help her. She knew that Yu was far more important than some familiar.
"Very well, I have no choice." Guiche said as he would help the troubled Louise.
Back with Yu, we see him now running alongside as Ghost Roaster who became tangible once again and was following next to the Portal Master. There Yu gives the Ghost Eater a thumbs-up.
"Thanks for the help. Ghost Roaster, Return." Yu said as Ghost Roaster disappeared in a flash of light.
Yu continues trying to find his way out of this maze of a castle and towards the outside world. He soon makes his way to a fountain where he hears some people talking.
"It's a dream to finally be alone here with you, Kirche the Fever." A second-year student said as he held Kirche's hand. "A beautiful dream."
"Tonight won't end with just a fever." Kirche said as she leaned up against the student's chest.
Yu soon made it to the fountain where Kirche and the second-year male student were resting.
"Alright. An exit, finally." Yu said before he quickly noticed Kirche and the second-year student by the fountain.
"Now how will I get pass them? Hmm." Yu wondered as he then snapped his fingers before he called out. "Chill, help me out!"
Soon appearing next to Yu, was a blue circular disk, inside the disk, was a symbol of a blue drop of water. Surrounding it was a multitude of water splashes as the disk soon exploded in watery smoke.
Once the water explosion had settled, appearing before Yu, was a female humanoid with cold pale white skin, with blue lips and matching eyes. She wore silver and icy blue metal armor around her feet, wrists, and torso. Underneath her armor and visible on her biceps and thighs was blue scaled armor, she also had shoulder guards. In her hands was a javelin and shield made of ice. She wore a silver helmet with icy blue accents and a pair of wings on the sides of her helmet.
"Stay Cool!" Chill announced her summoning catchphrase.
"Can I borrow your shield, please?" Yu asked if he could borrow the Snow Queen's guardian shield.
"Sure thing Portal Master, Hiro." Chill said as she handed Yu her ice shield. Yu noticed it's lightness, yet steel heftiness.
"Thanks." Yu said as he gave himself a running start before tossing the shield down and using it as a sled, he then grabbed Chill by her hand and the two rode across Kirche and the student.
This caused Yu to accidentally knock the student into the fountain and Kirche off of the fountain and onto the floor.
The second-year student quickly lifted himself out from the fountain, spitting some out and looked at the fleeing Yu riding the shield.
"Isn't that the familiar Louise had summoned?" The student curiously asked.
Kirche had noticed Yu riding the shield and also took notice of the ice that was forming behind the shield.
"Yes, he's that peasant boy familiar." Kirche confirmed.
And before long Louise was rushing out the same door that Yu had walked through, right behind her was Guiche.
"There he is!" Louise shouted as she pointed at Yu.
"Hey, what's going on? What are the two of you doing?" Kirche questioned what was happening right now.
"Oh, just wait till you get a load of this." Guiche said with a haughty laugh.
"Enough, he's getting away!" Louise interrupted them as she passed Guiche and Kirche.
Once Yu had made it past the second-year male student and Kirche he got off of Chill's shield and notice the lack of damage from the rocky floor it had slide across.
"That is one good shield."
"Thank you, Portal Master."
"You're Welcome. Now Chill, Return." Yu said as Chill disappeared in a flash of light as the former continued on his way outside.
Yu soon made it out of the Academy, where he began to slow down in his speed and was now talking in the air, noting how fresh and cleaned it smelled.
He soon noticed that he was floating in the air. "Whoa! Hey, somebody let me down!" Yu shouted to be put down. "All I wanted was to go outside and get a moment to think to myself without being disturbed."
"Oh, calm down, will you." Guiche's voice called out using his rose and a simple levitation spell to keep him up. "This is the second time I had to keep you afloat."
Guiche then began to toss Yu in the air, not caring if the young boy would get sick from being tossed back and forth.
"Hey, but that out! You're gonna... make... me. Si-ugh" Yu groaned as his cheeks turned green and puffed up before spilling his guts out on the grass below him.
"Ha Ha Ha! You summoned a familiar that escaped from you. That is too funny!" Kirche laughed at Louise's predicament and her run-away familiar.
And soon, once Guiche was done shaking Yu around. The young Portal Master soon took notice of the two moons up in the night sky, one small and pink, the other big and blue.
"WHAT IS GOING ON IN MY LIFE?!" Yu shouted out to the nightly heavens above as we zoom out to see Tristain Academy.

And like I said before this Chapter just came to me yesterday and I just wanted to post this kind of story out on the website just for the fun of it.
