EPISODE 1: KIRBY COMES TO JAPARI PARK
Space.
Empty.
Vast.
Mysterious.
Dangerous.
None of that mattered to the sleeping Star Warrior known as Kirby, as their literal star ship cruised and drifted along, passively scanning the galaxy for any signals that indicated the presence of monsters…
Suddenly the ship picked up a signal on a nearby planet known as Popstar, setting off an alarm that rudely ended poor Kirby's nap. Kirby jumped up, startled, and looked around. They looked at their ship's consoles as a screen began flashing "WARP"... The ship's blast dome began to close as Kirby looked around confused…
Suddenly.
That's all it takes, for everything to change.
An event happens a certain way.
There's a whole order of events that will lead up to any particular outcome…
If things happened differently, the result too would be different.
And that creates a whole different timeline.
Suddenly.
The ship detected a Monster suddenly appear out of nowhere directly behind it…
As that Monster performs a surgical strike with some sort of energy bolt that disables the ship's warp drive and navigation sensors. The computer also got half-fried, now alternatively displaying WARP with a big X over it and ERROR. The warp being cancelled, the blast dome reopened as Kirby was now upside down from the ship being hit and shaken. They got up and looked around confused, wondering what happened, then looked at the now smoking console with distress….
Suddenly, a deep dark shadow loomed over the tiny disabled ship… Kirby, frightened, turned around… and saw a massive figure towering overhead. It looked like a floating robe with a two-horned hood with blackness and red glowing eyes, with a pocket watch worn as a necklace. It had no sleeves, but it had 2 gears sticking out at an angle where the shoulders would be. It had 4 mechanical floating hands, 2 on each side, 3 of which held an ornate hour hand, minute hand, and second hand, respectively, and the 4th was empty. With what sounded like demented creepy clown-like voice crossed with the voice of a wise old man, it spoke:
"Kekekeke… I don't care what others might say, I think revenge is a dish best served PRE-HEATED!"
Kirby was confused… Who was this monster who seemed to harbor so much hatred against them? Revenge? What had they even done to that monster to begin with? But before Kirby could begin to try and ask, the Monster cackled more and used its empty hand to summon a portal through time and space and dimensions, knocking the ship into it with a swing of the hour hand. The ship tumbled through the portal, exiting it above a huge planet that would eventually be known as Shiver Star, but for now, it was quite warm, with vibrant greens and blues….
As the portal closed, the monster mused. "I hope I sent little Kirby far enough into the past. Well, it's not like they'll become some sort of bloodthirsty Galactic Knight with an unquenchable thirst for revenge or anything."
The monster paused.
"...I'd better go keep an eye on them after I report back to Nightmare."
Meanwhile…
It was a sunny day in Japari Park. Friends were playing, having fun, eating Japari Buns, training, just making the most of their day. Celliens were very rarely spotted recently, and any who did appear were extremely weak and easy to defeat. There were even some friends seeking out the Celliens to hunt for sport, since they seemed to no longer be a threat, ever since they defeated the Cellien Queen once and for all… or so they thought. Sure, she claimed she would always come back this last time, but those words rang hollow to the Friends, since she had not shown herself or her influence for several months now. In fact, in just a few days, it would be a year since she reared her somewhat ugly head. However, unknown to the Friends, in a deep dark cavern only illuminated by glow worms, under Sandstar Mountain, the Cellien Queen had reconstituted herself, and was hard at work trying to come up with a new plan. And really, she was at a loss. Creating a large Cellien? Failed. Creating a Cellien good at hunting? Failed. Creating giant celliens? Failed. Turning Machines into Celliens? Failed. Creating a "Friend" Cellien? The first defected, the second was way too annoying and broken. Failed. Combining Celliens? Failed. Taking things into her own hands? Failed. Failed. Failed. Failed. FAILED. She needed something different… maybe not a Cellien. Something else. She needed to create her own Cell Harmony to allow her to obtain all the Sparkles so she could restore the animals to their true forms and eject the invasive and destructive Humans. But she needed someone that could defeat the Friends for her. It's not like the answer was going to just fall out of the sky though, or so she thought.
Back in space, Kirby was in awe at the planet in front of them, almost immediately forgetting the frightening figure they had just seen that had sent them here. The ship, detecting on what was left of its sensor array, a habitable planet, attempted to enter landing mode, the display now showing a down arrow, waiting for Kirby to confirm. Kirby, seeing the display, pressed a button… the ship closed its blast dome to begin descending, but its engine gave out suddenly, sending the ship into an uncontrolled spin instead, causing it to plummet into the atmosphere, coming in hot towards a strange volcano with huge cubic crystals sticking out of the top…
Meanwhile, in the Sky over Japari Park, Skyfish was flying fast, darting here and there, when suddenly, a blazing star-shaped object roared past her, narrowly missing her! What on Earth was it?! Was it a kind of Cellien? No, that couldn't be it, it kept going past her… A falling star? But it was actually star-shaped and yellow… and it looked mechanical… and it was heading straight for the volcano?! There was no way she could stop it… but she had to let someone know… A UFO was crashing into Sandstar Mountain! She hoped whoever she told could understand her despite her alien language… She darted off to find the nearest patrol as the starship ended up flying straight into a hidden cave on the side of the volcano, unnoticed by the panicked Skyfish…
Kirby's starship hit the back wall of the cave, almost completely losing power, then fell straight down the chasm below, bouncing down into the depths… before it landed just inside the deep secret cave where the Cellien Queen had been hiding.
Surprised, the Queen turned and looked at the intruding starship, tilting her head. Cautious, she slowly approached the smoking wrecked ship, accompanied by a Paramecium Cellien and a Volvox Cellien. The starship's blast dome and cockpit slowly opened… and out fell an Adorable Pink Puffball… that looked strangely similar to a Cellien! The Queen gasped softly, whatever it was… was so cute and innocent looking. Maybe this is what she needed… she lowered herself and helped the poor alien up….
Kirby, dizzy, slowly got up with the Queen's help, their vision blurry… as their vision cleared, Kirby looked up… and saw a couple of creatures with curious expressions that looked somewhat like themself and a tall mysterious horned woman with a powerful but warm and gentle and welcoming expression, kneeling down and helping the young star warrior up. Kirby tilted their head. "P-poyo?" Kirby said nervously, unsure of the woman's intentions. "Do not be afraid young one, for you are among your kin, and I, their queen, welcome you." The Cellien Queen said in a soothing, comforting tone. She was far different than the mysterious monster that had sent Kirby to this strange planet to begin with. Kirby's Starship, now completely out of power, certainly couldn't tell Kirby otherwise… although it likely wouldn't regardless, as it only looked for Nightmare's energy signature, which wasn't present on this planet yet.
Kirby, relieved, said, "Poyo!" happily, and looked at the Paramecium Cellien, which seemed to flap happily, then at the Volvox Cellien, which nodded respectfully at Kirby. Kirby then looked past the pair of Celliens and their Queen… and said, in amazement, "Poyo!" upon seeing the many other Celliens of all shapes and sizes gathered in the secret cave. They all seemed equally amazed at the small happy alien. The Cellien Queen, with a hopeful and pleased expression, continued. "I sense great potential within you, young one… What is your name, if you please?" She tilted her head gently, awaiting Kirby's response. Kirby took a moment to think… then replied, "Ki…Kirby!" The Cellien Queen replied wistfully, "Kirby is your name?" Kirby nodded, happily replying. "Poyo!" The Cellien Queen proudly declared, "That is a very wonderful name, Kirby." Kirby relaxed… this was a safe place... or perhaps not, save for the cave, as the Cellien Queen was about to explain. "I believe you have been sent to us, Kirby, to help us with our plight." "Poyo?" Kirby inquired, tilting their head. "Allow me to show you our oppression and peril…" A Cellien that looked like a Movie Camera and Projector came forward, and projected a film onto a flat face of rock…
The film started by showing a family of lions, trapped in a cage and looking depressed as humans looked on at them. Suddenly, there was a bright explosion as a volcano in the distance got struck by an mysterious meteor, causing strange cubic crystals to grow out of it and stranger dust to fly out of it then back towards the ground as ejected blobs of glowing sparkling material… it landed everywhere, causing a lot of destruction and chaos… one such blob landed right into the cage, creating a massive explosion… when the dust cleared, standing on top of the debris, coughing, was a girl who looked human but had a Lion Mane, Ears, and Tail… the scene changes… it shows another glowing blob hitting a puddle, vaporizing it, but when the dust clears, there are some Celliens… The scene changes again… it shows the Celliens surrounding the Lion Girl and absorbing some sort of Sparkle from her.. she starts to change back into the lion family, now alive and well, that had previously been killed by the accident that birthed the girl… but suddenly other humans with Animal features attacked the Celliens as an ambush, destroying the Celliens and forcing the Lion family to revert back into the Lion Girl… The scene changed again, showing Japari Park being built as the forest is razed down… Animal Girls are shown destroying Celliens mercilessly and hunting them for sport… Animals, many of which appear to be quite young, are shown being struck by the glowing blobs and transforming into Animal Girls. The scene changes to show a small Cellien, bravely going forth and attempting to stop the Animal Girls once and for all, for the sake of all of Nature… it even absorbed the essence of one of the Humans, a female scientist, in order to try to understand humans and to be able to lead the other Celliens to victory… the Cellien Queen was born…. But then the film went on to show how she had tried again and again to restore the natural state of the island, only to be stopped each and every time by the powerful Animal Girls who were being guided and directed by Park Staff. As the film played, the Queen narrated it to Kirby, explaining her position and how her kind had only come to Earth to begin with because they heard Nature crying from Mankind's abuse… They had lost control and crashed into the volcano by mistake, resulting in the accidental birth of the animal girls, when only the birth of the Celliens had been intended, to drive Mankind away and to bring healing to the land.
Kirby watched the film and listened to the Queen… seeing all of Mankind's destructive and abusive ways upset Kirby immensely… Mankind was as terrible as one who seemed to plague Kirby's nightmares… they should have helped those they saw caged in the fortress of the one who made Kirby, even if they were Monsters, they were nothing like the true monster who had created all of them including Kirby. But Kirby couldn't bear to stay there, they had to get away… now Kirby felt like a second chance had been provided… helping these poor Celliens wasn't a choice… it was an obligation. Of course, Kirby would indeed be doing it out of free will and with good intentions, the Cellien Queen certainly wasn't forcing them to help.
Bravely, Kirby declared affirmatively, "Poyo!", indicating that they would help the Queen in her mission. The Cellien Queen pleasantly responded, "I am very grateful for your help, Kirby… now, tell me, what can you do?" Kirby looked around… seeing some stones on the ground nearby, said, "Poyo…!" and turned toward the rocks. "Hmm?" the Cellien Queen mused, as Kirby began running in place… Kirby then opened their mouth wide… and inhaled the rocks! "Woah, woah, what are you-?!" the startled Cellien Queen started to say, as Kirby inhaled the rocks… Kirby closed their mouth with their cheeks puffed out, turned towards the wall where the film was being projected onto, and spat out a huge star at the projected image, which happened to be a Girl with Serval ears and tail, completely smashing the wall into rubble, revealing a hidden aquifer that had been until then been undiscovered. "Poyo!" Kirby said happily and turned back towards the Cellien Queen. "…well then." The Cellien Queen was quite impressed with the young star warrior's strength. "You are indeed the one to help us, Kirby. With that kind of power, surely we will restore the land once and for all!" "Poyo, poyo!" Kirby flailed cheerfully. However, Kirby would soon be tested for real…
Meanwhile…
Skyfish, frantically chirping and trying to find another Friend to tell about the mysterious UFO that had crashed into Sandstar Mountain, repeatedly found herself being blown off and ignored by whoever she tried to tell… most were too busy hunting Celliens, or Racing, or Playing to care… even the Park Staff hadn't taken notice of the strange meteor, and the Lucky Beasts, normally completely aware of any major events happening in the Park, just so happened to all be offline for a firmware update, incidentally one that added a setting to make them ignore Friends and only talk to Staff due to abuse by certain Bun-greedy Friends. Finally, though, she came across Sabertooth Tiger, seeing her in what looked like an open gazebo laying down on a bench looking bored and dozing off. She raced towards the expert saber wielder at high speed, intending to get her atten…
SMACK
Poor Skyfish had not realized the supposedly open gazebo had brand new impact proof crystal clear plexiglass windows installed the previous day to turn it into a Cellien-proof shelter, and slammed into one like a mosquito meeting a car on the Autobahn.
The loud noise startled Sabertooth awake, causing her to fall off of the bench with a shout. Getting up, she looked out the window….
Poor Skyfish, dazed, slowly slid down the window and fell off. Sabertooth, concerned, ran out of the gazebo.
"S-skyfish?! Are you okay?!"
Quietly squeaking and whimpering, Skyfish could only weakly motion towards Sandstar Mountain before passing out cold. Fortunately, staff were nearby and saw Skyfish slam into the gazebo's window, and rushed over to begin checking on her. Sabertooth looked up slowly at Sandstar Mountain… there seemed to be a small wisp of smoke leaking out the side. "That's odd… Hey, I'm going to go check out that smoke, it might be a large cellien, please take good care of Skyfish…" The park staff muttered affirmatively then focused on trying to wake up Skyfish, as Sabertooth began walking towards the mountain…
A short time later, Sabertooth made it up the mountain alone. Of course, normally Friends were required to go together in teams when approaching the dangerous Sandstar Mountain, but the staff had been too busy attending to the now comatose Skyfish to remind Sabertooth of the rules. Sabertooth found a small cave opening, partially hidden by now stripped bushes, where the smoke seemed to be rising out of…
"Hello? Anybody in there?" She called out, having heard barely audible sounds echoing in the dark cave.
Down below, the Cellien Queen, likewise hearing the barely audible sound of Sabertooth calling out, froze in what seemed to be fear. "Poyo…?" Kirby inquired, concerned. The Cellien Queen motioned for the other Celliens to quiet down then whispered to Kirby, "One of them is in the cave right above us, Kirby…. You might have to fight much sooner than I expected… I was hoping that you could rest and get settled in… If I'm not mistaken, that voice belongs to Sabertooth." "Sa….saber…..sabertooth?" Kirby repeated slowly and quietly, trying to learn to say the enemy's name. They had already learned how to say "Kako", as the Cellien Queen called herself, and "Cellien". Cellien Queen Kako nodded and continued whispering, "She's a master of the sword and quite strong…. But I believe in you, Kirby. If you can destroy a cave wall with that star spewing move of yours, she may prove to be little challenge after all. As I explained before, you can use your floating ability you showed me a little while ago to get up there to that upper cave… I will go up there too, but I'll take the longer way around and watch from the side, cheering you on quietly, ok?" Kirby nodded, then 'Kako' whispered, "Good, now go, Kirby of the Stars, go and defend our kind!" Kirby nodded again and took a small breath of air, inflating slightly and floating upwards. The Queen watched Kirby, concerned but hopeful, and as they floated out of sight into the tall, tall chasm above, the Queen glanced down at Kirby's wrecked starship. "This crashing into the mountain is probably what brought Sabertooth here… I should bury it, for everyone's sake… hm?" The Cellien Queen suddenly noticed a small ring box sitting on the ground by the starship, having fallen out of it unnoticed shortly after Kirby themself fell out. She tilted her head and walked to the box, picking it up and opening it. To her surprise, there appeared to be a small star-shaped object in it, similar in appearance to the star Kirby spat out earlier, glowing. "Is this Kirby's…? What could this be….?"
Suddenly, a dark booming grumpy-sounding voice, from deep inside the dark chamber where the newly uncovered aquifer was, sounded out, "WARP…. STAR…."
"Oh?! Who's there!" The Cellien Queen cried out, surprised.
Almost as if a cloud of darkness rolled away, a strange giant statue seemed to show itself in the immense blackness. It seemed like a head as huge as tall skinny building, made of brown stone, with the top coming to a point, lacking a nose, having a mouth with a lower jaw that moves, and yellow glaring glowing eyes piercing like the gaze of that animal girl, Shoebill, known for her end-all be-all stare that seemed to freeze Celliens like she's Medusa from the ancient Greek legends…
"YOU CAN CALL ME… GURAN." The statue continued with what seemed to be an increasingly grumpier tone.
"Guran…" The Queen repeated.
"IS THERE AN ECHO IN HERE… WELL, I GUESS THERE IS ACTUALLY, BUT THAT WAS A RHETORICAL QUESTION."
"Well, you don't have to be rude…. Anyways, what do you mean, 'warp star'?"
The statue sighed so loudly in an exasperated tone that the walls seemed to shake slightly and the water in the aquifer splashed about dramatically.
"WELL, BEFORE YOUR 'FRIEND' THERE, KIRBY, I BELIEVE, DISTURBED MY REST BY BREAKING THE WALL OF MY PRISON, I WAS WELL CONTENT IN MY EXILE FROM… WELL, NEVERMIND THAT. YOUR ANNOYING LITTLE FRIEND IS SOMETHING CALLED A STAR WARRIOR, AND THAT LITTLE STAR IS AN EXTENSION OF HIMSELF. IT MAY LOOK SMALL, BUT WHEN THEY USE IT, IT BECOMES BIG AND THEY CAN RIDE IT THROUGH THE SKY AND GAIN AN ADVANTAGE OVER MOST WHO MIGHT WISH THEM HARM."
"They… can ride this? It becomes big? How does that wor-" The Cellien Queen began to inquire but Guran cut her off rudely.
"YES. THAT'S WHAT I SAID. TRY AND KEEP UP, WILL YOU? ANYWAYS, I SHOULD TELL YOU THAT I JUST SO HAPPEN TO BE DESIGNED TO STORE AND REPAIR THAT WARP STAR WHEN THEY'RE NOT USING IT. WELL, NOT THEM AND NOT THAT WARP STAR SPECIFICALLY, BUT THAT'S WHAT MY KIND WERE MADE FOR. THE OTHERS DISAGREED WITH SOME OF MY… IDEALS AND HAD ME IMPRISONED HERE. BUT SINCE THAT 'KIRBY' BASICALLY FREED ME, I OWE A GREAT DEBT TO THEM. OR SOMETHING. BY THE WAY, WHERE IS THE TWERP ANYWAYS?"
"You mean Kirby?" The Queen stared at the powerful yet noisy statue unimpressed. She even almost started to regret asking Kirby to show what they could do at that precise moment that she had. "They went up top to fight an enemy… and I'm supposed to go join them anyways. I'm going to go do that and take this warp star or whatever with me in case they end up needing it."
"FINE, GO THEN, IT WILL BE FASTER ANYWAYS."
But the Cellien Queen had already left, so she was not around to ask, "What will be faster?"
Guran would explain later. Probably. He let out another loud rumbling annoyed sigh as the Celliens who had wandered into the aquifer chamber stared at him, nearly hypnotized by his mean stare.
"WHAT ARE YOU ALL LOOKING AT. SCRAM."
The celliens scattered like rats back into their main cave, practically squeaking in fear.
Sabertooth cautiously walked into the dark cave, hearing silence followed by some loud muffled booming voice that she couldn't quite understand what it was saying. It didn't sound like a Friend… but Celliens could mimic human speech… actually, there were a few friends who could do so as well, now that she thought about it. And a couple minutes later, the booming unclear voice fell silent, and there was silence once more. Odd. Well, there seemed to be a passage to the side and a deep chasm further on, so perhaps she should go down the passage… but suddenly, as she turned towards the passage to walk down it, a voice suddenly came from the direction of the chasm. "Poyo?!" cried out an angry sounding voice.
"What the…" Sabertooth turned around… and saw what looked like a star flying straight towards them. Instinctively, they pulled out their sword almost instantly, causing the surprise attack star to get sliced in two before it could cause any damage, destroying it. Sabertooth immediately looked to the source of the attack… and saw a round pink… Cellien? It certainly looked similar to one and attacked her seemingly unprovoked… She hadn't seen this kind before, but if it looks like a cellien and acts like a cellien… "Hey, now I know you think you're so hot, being the latest Cellien or whatever you are, but if you think you can hurt my friend or scare her or whatever you did, then you have got another thing coming!" Sabertooth growled, pointing her sword at Kirby. Kirby tilted their head for a moment, looking confused, but then shook their head, running in place, and inhaled some loose gravel. "What kind of attack is that..?!" Sabertooth started to say, but since the gravel was practically next to Kirby, Sabetooth hadn't felt the full force of Kirby's inhale yet. But Kirby's cheeks puffed out, and suddenly the angry pink puffball sent another star straight for Sabertooth. "Oh, is that how it is?! You eat things and you… you spit out-!" Sabertooth sliced this star as well, once again dispelling it. "Those star things!" Sabertooth finished off her sentence in an annoyed tone. "Looks like I'm going to have to cut you down to size then!" Sabertooth declared, not really feeling threatened by the weak looking "cellien". Kirby, likewise annoyed, yelled, "POYO!" and inhaled more gravel… of what was left that is. This time… the star Kirby exhaled was a lot smaller and slower and weaker than the previous ones. Sabertooth, seeing this, laughed, barely tapping the pathetic star with her sword, making it bounce a little along the ground before it shattered and disappeared. "What's wrong, out of rocks to eat and spew~?" Sabertooth said, taunting Kirby. "You're absolutely pathetic~" Kirby started to panic as Sabertooth walked towards them, and began swinging her sword at the poor alien visitor. The Cellien Queen turned a corner in the passageway Sabertooth had been distracted from walking down and saw Sabertooth chasing Kirby down with her sword. Sabertooth, unaware of the Cellien Queen, smacked Kirby with the flat side of her sword, sending them flying across the cave to the wall opposite the passageway. Panicked, the Queen shouted out, "Kirby, suck them up!" Hearing the Cellien Queen, Sabertooth turned around quickly, shocked. "WHAT-?!"
Taking advantage of Sabertooth getting distracted, Kirby heeds the Queen's advice and begins inhaling, this time a lot stronger than before. Sabertooth, not expecting this, has a loose grip on her sword and it slips out of her hand and into Kirby's open mouth. Kirby quickly closes their mouth and begin to puff out their cheeks, but Sabertooth, having fast enough reflexes turns around and screams "NO!" and kicks Kirby hard, sending them flying hard into the wall again…. And causing Kirby to swallow the saber sword, groaning in pain, though it was only from the impact with the wall. Sabertooth, now wary of the Cellien Queen but also overconfident, says, "Oh, what's wrong, my sword didn't agree with…" But then Kirby stood up, looking at Sabertooth angrily, and jumped into the air somersaulting! "Wait what are you doing?!" Kirby stopped in midair, then began spinning in the air rapidly, suddenly sprouting an odd green Christmas hat with yellow trim on their head… they stopped spinning, getting smacked in the face with the end of the hat, then flipping their head to get the tip of the hat out of their face, sprouted their own glowing Sword out of their arm, turning into a shiny gold sword with a green handle that they raised proudly above their head. Cellien Queen, watching this, muttered under her breath, "Kirby can TRANSFORM?!" as Sabertooth growled once again. Kirby attempted to swing their sword at Sabertooth, but Sabertooth, unamused, promptly kicked the sword out of Kirby's hand. "Please, it's going to take more than that to beat me, you little punk~"
Cellien Queen, noticing the Warp Star start to flash urgently in its box, realized what she needed to do. She grabbed the star and threw it at Kirby. "Kirby, use this!" Kirby happily said "Poyo!" upon seeing the Warp Star coming to them. Sabertooth swung around. "Oh no you DON'T-" She proceeded to make the motion of trying to slice it in half… only to realize she didn't have her sword. "Oh CRAP-" she started to cry out, but the star, even though it grew big, even bigger than the first star Kirby had spit at her, actually flew past her without even touching her. "…huh?!" Turning back around, she was shocked to see the strange "cellien" to now be standing on it like it was some sort of skateboard. Before she could react, however, Kirby rode the warpstar to where their sword landed, picked it up and flew out of reach of Sabertooth. "Get back down here so I can pop you, Cellien!" Kirby immediately became extremely angry, then felt that anger start to flow into their sword, which started to glow. As if some hidden knowledge had been suddenly unlocked within them, they jumped up into the air, holding their sword above their head, and shouted out, "SWORD BEAM!" as they sent a swirling energy beam fueled by pure rage at Sabertooth, who suddenly had frozen up in fear. The beam passed straight down the middle of Sabertooth but appeared to have no effect. Sabertooth blinked, confused. "Was that's supposed to do some-" But then Sabertooth suddenly split in two down the middle, the cross sections of each half consisting of glowing Sandstar. Her two halves fell apart… as they did so, they began glowing and morphed into two balls of light that merged back into a single ball of light. This ball then morphed into the shape of an actual Sabertooth Tiger, who looked at Kirby then at the Cellien Queen. The sabertooth tiger trotted up to Kirby, whose sword form had dispelled back into Kirby's normal form. Kirby descended on their Warpstar, curious. The Sabertooth Tiger tilted its head, then licked Kirby's face before looking again at the Cellien Queen with a neutral expression, then it trotted out of the cave to explore what was a new world to it. Cellien Queen, impressed with what she had just witnessed, proudly walked up to Kirby. "You did it, Kirby! You've restored your first Animal! I knew you could help us!" Kirby proudly proclaimed, "Poyo, poyo, poyo!" The Queen smiled. "Let's go back to our cave, there's someone down there in that aquifer you should meet…" Kirby pondered, "Poyo….?"
Kirby found out.
Boy, Guran sure was grumpy. But he seemed to know everything about Kirby and their Warp Star and their abilities. This didn't strike Kirby as being odd, perhaps Guran was another Monster who escaped Nightmare. Kirby had no idea they had been sent back in time, they only thought they were forced to warp to another planet for whatever reason. But it didn't matter, for Kirby had Friends now. Well, friends to Kirby, anyways. And Kirby would fight for their friends, no matter what. Of course, the meal they brought to Kirby was the icing on the cake. And the cake. And the buns. And the fruits and vegetables. The Cellien Queen had sent some Hunter Celliens to hunt for food for Kirby during the whole ordeal. And the animal girls and the park staff and the lucky beasts had no idea. And they would become too preoccupied with reports of an aggressive sabertooth tiger and a comatose Skyfish to do anything about it.
The Cellien Queen wished she had sent more Hunter Celliens. That food was gone in seconds and Kirby hardly seemed full. At least they were satisfied and happy. And Kirby was just what the Queen needed.
The cloaked, horned, mechanical clock monster smiled beneath his hood. Time was on his side, and whether Kirby liked it or not, so were they.
As long as they didn't seal Kirby away out of fear of their power or something like some galactic knight of doom.
But that only had a 0.1% chance of happening.
…
…
…
…
Better try to make that a 0% chance, just to be safe.
