Timeline.

Year 2557: The UNSC manages to repel the Didacta in the notorious second battle of Earth. John 117 or better known as the Master Chief manages to recover and save Cortana. Both are received as heroes. The Unified Government of Earth with its two top heroes begins the recovery. The government uses all its resources in the recovery and terraforming of all its planets. By this time the UNSC only controls 220 planets.

Year 2558: The UNSC Infinity after a test of the Desliespace Engine ends up in the Andromeda Galaxy, 2,537 million light years away. Travelling such a distance in almost 2 months. Once in the new galaxy, the crew discovers a habitable planet. After sending scientific and military teams, the Earth Government agrees to colonise the planet. In the following months almost 4,000,000 refugees from the inner colonies arrive on the new planet renamed New Alexandria 2. The planet is located near the galactic edge, outside Republic space. Long-range sensors discover several habitable planets in their nearby systems. The Unified Government of Earth orders colonization of nearby systems. New Alexandria 2 becomes the capital of the growing Andromeda system.

Year 2559: The Master Chief is promoted to Admiral after many years of service and dedication. He and Cortana are put in command of the UNSC Eternity, the second Infinity class ship. The 5 Kilometer long Supercarrier with a military and scientific personnel of over 100,000 along with over 50,000 civilians, and a crew of 300 Spartan IV's, are sent to colonize and patrol its new borders along with a Task Force of over 3 Frigates and 2 destroyers. The new system christened Eridanus III in honor of the master chief's home planet quickly began colonization. By this time in the Galactic Republic the Naboo crisis begins with Anakin Skywalker beginning his training. In the Milky Way the UNSC has to deal with the aftermath of the Covenant and the Banished, increasing their numbers and incursions more and more. In response, the UNSC builds up its forces and fortifies the vast majority of its colonies. The Government makes a titanic effort to reclaim and terraform the Crystallised Planets. Reach recovers and begins titanic efforts to re-colonise and return the world to the fortress it once was. The first 50,000 colonists arrive on the world later that year. On Corrusan Palpatine notices the presence of the UNSC through the force and begins to make contingency plans for them.

Year 2560: The UNSC succeeds in colonizing 10 planets in the Andromeda Galaxy. Planets such as Erdinanus III become home to more than 1,000,000 people, many of them wanting to live on the planet controlled by the master chief. The capital Gaia is home to almost 200,000 people.

Year 2561: The UNSC discovers a planet inhabited by around 700,000 humans along with the Twi'lek and other semi-human races. The Unified Government of Earth enters Stock over the discovery. After some analysis it is discovered that the Twi'lek are an evolutionary offshoot of humans. The scientific community concludes that the Andromeda Humans are descendants of the Ancient Humans who escaped from the Forerunners. Humans and Semi-Humans are quickly accepted as citizens and integrated into the system. The Earth Government discovers that the Humans in this galaxy formed a huge government called the Galactic Republic. The UNSC decides to be cautious with the expansion while they debate what to do with the Galactic Republic should they be found. The discovered planet is renamed Reach 2 and like its counterpart starts to become a military planet.

Year 2571: 10 years pass and the UNSC controls around 30 planets in Andromeda. By this time the Clone Wars begin on Geonosis. The war spreads across the galaxy. The UNSC and Earth are unaware of what is happening. By then the UNSC controls a space of 1,000 planets. Reaching 400 planets in direct control, many colonies are in terraforming phase. The UNSC's population is growing to over 40 billion people as it fights against the Remnants of the Covenant. Their weaponry ranges from concentrated plasma weapons to classic ballistic weapons with significant upgrades and firepower. The Navy has built the first Super Infinity and is moving forward with construction of Ultima-class battleships nearly 10 kilometres long and capable of carrying more than 50,000 troops.

Year 2573: The UNSC and the Unified Government of Earth have their first hostile act in the galaxy when a Hutt War party attacks the planet Reach 2. This angers the UGT and brings the UNSC into the galactic big picture. Forever changing the history of the Milky Way and Andromeda.

Reach 2. Unified Government of Earth. Arc 1: The Intergalactic Wars.

Admiral Marcus Smith stood on the bridge of his Marathon Class cruiser looking out at the void of stars. Admiral Marcus and his battle group was in charge of protecting the planet Reach 2, the planet already had around 2,000,000 inhabitants and of that almost 300,000 troops. Their fleet had around 19 ships orbiting the system and 3 orbital stations. The planet according to UNSC plans was destined to be a military fortress like its counterpart in the future.

Admiral Marcus turned his gaze to the stars, it was peaceful indeed. It had been almost 10 years since this planet was discovered and colonised by the UNSC. It was a shock for everyone to discover another kind of humans and semi-humans. Thank God they quickly adapted and integrated. The population lived normally, thanks to the Twi'lek and the integrated humans learned that a galaxy and thousands of races inhabited the stars, the vast majority of them under the control of the Galactic Republic. The fact that there was a massive government of humans outside the realm of the UNSC caused great discomfort in the higher echelons. For this reason they had limited colonisation of new systems as a precaution against reaching any hostile systems. Nevertheless, the UNSC had colonised around 30 planets and thanks to its vast resources the region's economy prospered, which helped the battered UGT economy to recover after almost 30 years of uninterrupted warfare.

Yet all was not rosy, in their home galaxy tensions and fighting continued against the New Covenant who were slowly growing stronger. Taking back entire systems as the Sangheili and the UNSC set about stabilizing their worlds.

The Government continued to invest in the military, producing its first energy weapons with the latest model of energy rifle although it had not yet been extended to infantry and was only distributed to ODSTs and Spartan IVs. The Navy continued to invest in producing new warships, eventually producing the new Frigates and Battlecruisers, with the latest model reaching over 10 kilometres in length. The UNSC was expanding and modernizing, researching Forerunner technology and discovering ancient human settlements such as Chakum Hakkor, the Ancient Imperial Human Capital was already home to around 3,000,000 people and military and the government was planning to turn it into a military center.

The UNSC did not want to be caught out again.

As the Admiral pondered the alarm bells rang. "What is it Alicia?" The Ship's AI flashed before the Admiral. "Sir, we are detecting gravitational animal signatures, they are moving at almost 700 times the speed of light, contact in 20 seconds. Contact in 20 seconds".

The Admiral's eyes narrowed as suddenly nearly 70 contacts came into real space. Sensors were picking up what appeared to be fighters and several combat craft and what appeared to be a cruiser almost a kilometre long. It didn't strike the Admiral as a good idea. "Contact them immediately. Protocol first contact!".

"Yes sir... We are sending."

"All right ... This is Admiral Marcus Smith. By my order I command you to identify yourselves, you are entering UNSC and Unified Earth Government space. Acknowledge or you will be boarded!"

The bridge fell silent as they awaited their response as the ships quickly accelerated into combat position.

"Attention battle position! Send in the fighters!" Quickly the bridge went into a frenzy of activity. Laser weapons slammed into the energy shields as their own fighters prepared for battle. "Sir! A party of 20 ships are heading for the planet!".

"Order the men on the ground to prepare. If they want war they shall have it."

The battle in space raged with dozens of fighters firing at each other at high speed. "Alicia report!"

"Sir, the enemy appears to have solid energy weapons and energy shields. Their intentions are unknown," the AI replied.

"Target them with automatic cannons and turrets and calculate the shot. Take them out immediately".

The AI quickly did as it was asked and the enemy ships were quickly defeated one by one. On the ground the human defenders quickly attacked their invaders, preventing them from getting a beachhead and attacking the cities.

Gradually the number of ships dwindled until only 3 were left and they decided to escape at the speed of light.

In just under 2 hours calm returned to space. "Alice Report".

The AI reappeared. "Sir, the enemy has withdrawn. Reports have reached us on Earth that the forces have defeated the raiders. Some of them are semi-human others are fully alien, they have reported several casualties including KIA, the raiders had energy weapons. We are taking them to interrogation.

The admiral sighed. "Notify ONI of this incident. Also alert high command and ground, we have a report to send."

The Admiral failed to calculate how much

the history of the galaxy would change from then on.
