"A digital life form has been detected." Riley said from where she sat at her monitor. She had her headset and visor on, which displayed strings of complicated code as they tracked the Digimon that was trying to Bio-Emerge into the real world. The dome-like ceiling was nothing but a large screen that displayed a grid, showing just where the Digimon were crossing over into the real world.

"Is it a Wild One?" Her boss, Yamaki, asked. He sat in his office chair, opening and closing his lighter that gave off a soft click with each move of his hand.

"Hold on," Tally said as she typed on her keyboard. Her monitor zoomed in on the signal, indicating that they were relatively small. "There's two of them. They have signals that are nearly identical."

Yamaki closed his lighter and sat it down on his desk. "Can we intercept them?"

"Negative, they're already in the process of Bio-Emerging." Riley replied. "It looks like the breach will occur above Shinjuku Central Park."

"Keep an eye on them, I want to see where they're going." Yamaki reached for the phone on his desk. He keyed in a number and put the phone to his ear. When the person on the other end answered, Yamaki said. "There's another Wild One. We're sending you the coordinates. Intercept and capture them."

He hung up the phone and went back to toying with his lighter, slowly flicking it open before snapping it closed. Yamaki hated Digimon with a burning passion. He hated the idea of digital monsters crossing over into their world to cause more destruction, just as they had done nearly twenty years ago. So what if there were humans with Digimon companions? So what if some kids with those monsters helped save the world? Humans and Digimon were never meant to get mixed up with each other, and it was about time that someone put the world order back together again.

"Run, run if you can, little Digimon," he chuckled to himself as he watched the two signals on the dome screen steadily reach the breaching point. They came to a stop, and with a loud bleep, the signals disappeared.

The sun was shining, the clouds were sparse, it was another beautiful day in Tokyo. Everything would have appeared normal, had it not been for the portal opening up in the sky. From that portal fell two little Dracomon, tumbling to the earth below. Their wings spread outward as they plummeted and they caught the updraft, lifting them up. They glided for a short burst before flapping their wings and pulling higher into the air.

"I know that he's around here somewhere." The blue Dracomon said.

The green Dracomon sniffed the air. Instinct was driving them, but those instincts were becoming even stronger now that they had crossed over into the real world. Their Destined Partner was near, but they just couldn't pinpoint where exactly.

The blue Dracomon stopped suddenly, catching his twin's attention. "Why'd you stop?" The green Dracomon asked.

"Do you hear that?" The blue dragon replied. "It's like a low hum…"

The sounds of rotors and propellors spinning echoed in the air and the two Dracomon spun around and gasped when they saw a black helicopter flying straight at them.

"Hurry, run - er, I mean fly away!" the blue Dracomon shouted, and the twin dragons' wings beat furiously against the winds as they tried their hardest to escape the helicopter, but the machine was gaining on them fast. It was just mere feet away from them now.

"Down there!" the green one said, pointing below them. It was Shinjuku Central Park, but to them, it looked like a forest - the perfect hiding spot from the advancing helicopter. The twins folded their wings and dived, just as the helicopter flew past them. Just before they could crash, their wings flapped, slowing their descent and allowing them to land gracefully on the grass. They quickly dived into a bush to hide, and the helicopter flew over the park, passing by them. Once it was out of sight, the two breathed a sigh of relief.

The twin dragons stumbled out of the bush and helped each other stand. "That was a close one," the blue Dracomon said.

"Who are you two?" They heard someone say from behind them. They turned around and saw a tall man, with trimmed blonde hair and wearing a navy blue suit. Standing next to him was a Garurumon, who eyed the two Dracomon suspiciously.

"Um!" The blue Dracomon panicked. The hardened stare the Garurumon was giving them sent a chill up his spine. Sure, most Garurumon had an intimidating look about them, but this one, in particular, appeared to have seen many battles, and the little Dracomon knew that they were better off not getting mixed up with these guys.

"We're just passing through?" the green one replied with uncertainty.

"If you two want to come with us, we can help you-" Matt began, but was interrupted by the green Dracomon.

"Great Strike!" he bellowed as his horns began to glow and his jaws flew open. A beam of light shot out of his mouth and at Garurumon. The beam missed its mark by just a few inches, striking the ground instead and creating an explosion upon impact. Smoke wafted about the park and debris erupted from where the beam had hit, raining dirt and small rocks down on the man and Garurumon.

"Quick, let's get out of here!" The blue Dracomon shouted and grabbed his twin. The two got a running start and shot up into the air. They flew high into the sky, higher and higher, and the duo never once looked back as they fled from the park, leaving the man and Garurumon far behind them.

Back on the ground, the man in the blue suit was trying to shake the dirt out of his hair while the Garurumon coughed from breathing in too much smoke. It wasn't anything he couldn't handle, but the choking haze still burned his throat all the same.

"That could have gone over better, right Matt?" The Garurumon said once his coughing fit was through.

"You're right about that," Matt replied as he managed to get most of the dirt and pebbles out of his hair. "I just hope they're able to find who they're looking for."

"You think they're Destined Partners?"

"They certainly fit the bill. Besides, I really wanted to help get them away from those creepy men in black."

"Are you talking about that black helicopter that had been chasing them?"

Matt nodded. "You see that place over there, Garurumon?" He pointed off in the distance to a strange building. It was a hulking and imposing tower with at least a dozen satellites sticking out at the top. "No one knows what it's for. The public has been kept in the dark about what its purpose is, but I have a bad feeling about that place, Garurumon."

"It gives me the creeps." His Digimon partner agreed.

Kari Kamiya was finishing putting her class notes together as the first of her students began to gather in the classroom that morning. The kids conversed with each other, talking about the latest fads and trends. The Digimon Trading Card Game had become popular with children over the last few years as people were beginning to adjust to sharing their world with the Digimon. She could overhear some of the kids talking about their cards.

"I really want a Gazimon card." Kari overheard one girl say. "It's my favorite Digimon."

"Really? Gazimon?" The boy she was talking to said with surprise. "My favorite Digimon is Tyrannomon. I hope I can have him as my partner one day."

"I have a pre-release Tyrannomon card. If you have a Gazimon card, I'll trade it to you."

"You've got a deal!"

Kari finished writing out her notes and quickly stacked them together, then filed them away into one of her desk drawers. Kari looked at the class of students and smiled. 'It's hard to believe that twenty years have passed since we defeated MaloMyotismon.' She thought to herself. The world was beginning to shape up the way she had always dreamed of; that humans and Digimon would live side-by-side with one bell rang, signaling the beginning of the school day. Kari looked over her class and saw that everyone was there and accounted for.

Save for the one empty seat near the back by the window. It belonged to her nephew, Takato, and he was clearly running late. Again.

Kari let out a sigh, but she knew that she couldn't wait for him. She needed to begin her lesson. She stood up out of her seat and walked over to the chalkboard. She started writing the topic of the lesson with chalk when she heard the door to the classroom quietly open, then slowly shut. She didn't stop writing as she said. "You're late, Takato."

Takato, who was trying to sneak over to his seat, groaned. The students all laughed as Takato held his head down.

"I'm going back out to the hall, aren't I?" He asked.

She turned around to look at him. He did look awful sorry, but she couldn't keep letting him be late to school all the time. Nephew or not, she knew she needed to punish him.

"Out in the hall." She said sternly, and Takato shuffled out of the classroom and took his place beside the door.

"I'm sorry, Miss Kamiya." He said softly, being sure to address her by "Miss" rather than "Aunt." She had to keep up a professional appearance, so they had to pretend to not be family while they were in school.

Kari didn't reply. She knew that he truly was sorry. Takato wasn't a bad kid, he just got distracted easily. He was naturally creative and loved drawing, so she wasn't surprised that his head was usually lost in the clouds.

She was just about to finish what she was writing when she had a sudden feeling - like she had been jolted by static. Kari always had something of a sixth sense. She had moments of promotion, oftentimes sensing something before it happened, and that was exactly what was happening.

'Is it a Digimon? She wondered silently to herself. Yes… it's definitely a Digimon. Wait, is it two of them? They're looking for something… No, they're looking for someone. Who is that someone?'

She didn't sense malice or have any feelings of dread. They must be destined partners. She turned to glance out the window and thought she saw two specks flying toward the building. That had to be them. She looked over her shoulder at where Takato was sitting by the door and had begun drawing in a pocket-sized notebook. That same feeling returned.

'Something interesting is about to happen, that's for sure.' She thought to herself.

The twin Dracomon continued flying for some time, hovering high over the clouds and gliding lazily through the sky. They were getting tired though, and they knew they wouldn't be able to stay airborne for long.

"I'm exhausted." The green Dracomon complained.

"Don't worry, I think we're close." The blue one replied. "Just a little further-"

Suddenly, their instincts kicked into overdrive as an overwhelming feeling of need washed over them. He was nearby, they could feel it. But where could he possibly be?

"There!" The green Dracomon shouted, pointing to the school building. "That's where he is. I can feel it."

"Let's go!" The blue one said, and the two pulled their wings in and dived. Just before they could collide with the roof of the school, their horns began to glow and their mouths snapped open. Beams of light fired out of their mouths as they blasted a hole into the ceiling. They flew into the hole and hovered above the floor.

A woman screamed. They looked around and saw that they were in a kitchen of some sort, with pots and pans splayed out all over the work tables as the cafeteria staff was trying to prepare lunch for the day.

"What in the world?" One cried out.

"Are those Digimon?" Another asked.

The two Dracomon immediately turned around and took off. They ran out of the cafeteria and took off down the hall. Their senses were going crazy, making their brains feel like they were on fire. Their Destined Partner was definitely here. All they had to do now was find him.

Kari heard a loud crash ring out through the halls. The kids all looked around and began whispering to each other. Kari and Gatomon exchanged knowing looks, and the little feline Digimon pushed herself off of her cat bed.

"I'm going to go see what that sound was." Kari told her class. "You all stay here and keep working on your assignments." She and Gatomon walked out of the classroom and closed the door behind them.

"What was that, Miss Kamiya?" Takato asked, referring to the commotion down the hall. He was stuffing his notebook and markers back into his pocket, pretending he wasn't drawing when he wasn't supposed to be.

"I'm not sure, but I'm going to go check it out. Do you want to come with me, Takato?"

"Really?" He asked, surprised.

She winked at him and led him down the hall. She had a good feeling she knew what was about to happen.

The three walked the halls and made their way to the gymnasium. One of the teachers was already there, standing guard in front of the door.

"Ah, Miss Kamiya." He said. "I was just about to come and get you. We have a Digimon crisis here. I was able to trap them in the gym but-"

"Don't worry, I'll handle it, Mr. Mori." She replied, and Mr. Mori stood aside. He then noticed Takato.

"You need to stay out here, young man." Mr. Mori said, but stopped when Kari held a hand up.

"It's fine. He'll be okay with me. I'm teaching him about the Digimon." She then turned to Takato. "Let's go."

Kari, Takato, and Gatomon entered the gym while Mr. Mori closed the door but left it cracked open as he wanted to see how things would shake up. Inside, they saw the two Dracomon, running about and destroying the gym. Bleachers were torn up, the basketball hoops had been ripped apart, and singe marks, burns, and slashes could be seen all over the gymnasium floor.

"They sure are wreaking the place," Gatomon noted. "Should I put a stop to them, Kari?"

Kari didn't have a chance to reply as the twin Dracomon took notice of Gatomon. The green one was the first to act and lunged for her. He spun about, swinging his tail at her. She rolled out of the way and tried to use her Cat's Eye Hypnotism, but the Dracomon flew over her and the rings of slumber-inducing energy.

"Baby Breath!" he said as his jaws opened and a fireball was forming inside. Suddenly, the blue Dracomon flew up and held his brother's mouth shut. The green Dracomon choked and black smoke seeped out his nostrils.

"Why'd you stop me?" The green one demanded as he pushed his brother off of him.

"Look!" The blue one said sharply. "Over there."

He was pointing to Takato. The two Dracomon immediately dived back down to the ground and landed gracefully and started running towards him. Gatomon charged for them again, readying her Lightning Paw attack, when the two Dracomon split their formation and ran around her.

With their path cleared, they ran headfirst into Takato. Kari gasped and she and Gatomon ran over, about to pry them off, but they stopped.

Takato was laughing. The two Dracomon were nuzzling him, not hurting him. He put a hand on both their heads and patted them.

"We finally found him!" the blue one exclaimed.

"Took long enough," the green one added.

A bright ball of light appeared before Takato. He held his hand out and grasped it, realizing what it was - a Digivice.

It wasn't like any Digivice though. This one was different than either his parents' or his Aunt Kari's. It looked almost like Takato's card reader, except it had a ring around the screen that was half blue and half green. Two buttons were beneath the screen, one blue and one green.

"Does this mean…" Takato began. "That I'm a Digimon Tamer?"

Kari's grin was ear-to-ear. This was exactly what she thought was going to happen. Her nephew, who had longed at such a young age to finally have his own Digimon, finally had a partner. Not only that, he had twin Digimon.

"I'm happy for you, Takato." She said, clapping her hands together.

"How great! You finally have your own Digimon." Gatomon agreed.

Takato was smiling and hugging the two Dracomon around their necks.

"Well, there is going to be one problem." He said. "I have two of the same Digimon. That might get a little confusing calling you both Dracomon."

"What should you call us instead, Tamer?" the blue one asked.

Takato hummed as he thought it over. "How about I call you Draizen." he pointed to the blue Dracomon, then he pointed to the green Dracomon. "And you, I'll call Drairius. What do you guys think?"

The two Dracomon exchanged excited looks. "They're perfect!" They both shouted in unison.

"We have another problem." Mr. Mori said, walking into the gymnasium after having seen that the Dracomon weren't malicious. "Who's going to clean up this mess?"

Takato looked over the gym and the wreckage his Dracomon caused. "Um… That is going to take a lot of work…"

The school had an insurance policy that covered Digimon-related incidents, much to everyone's relief. Unfortunately, the Dracomon twins weren't allowed to stay on school grounds as there was a rule against children bringing their Digimon partners to school, so Bianca Matsuki had been called to take Takato's twin Dracomon home. She and her Tapirmon arrived at the school and went straight to the principal's office where Takato and his Digimon were waiting.

The Dracomon twins weren't exactly happy about having to leave. They would rather stay with their new partner, and the two were throwing a bit of a temper tantrum about it.

"We just got here!" Drairius complained while stomping his foot. "Why do we have to go?"

Draizen's tail flicked with annoyance. "I don't see why we can't stay. We'll be good. Well, at least, I'll be good."

Drairius glared at his brother. "I can be good too, you know?"

"I'm sorry, but those are the rules of our school." Principal Sato said. "We can't let you be a distraction to the children while they are supposed to be learning."

Bianca knelt down and placed a hand on both the Dracomon's shoulders. "Takato will be home in just a few hours, and you three will be able to play together then, but in the meantime, you will have to come home with me and Tapirmon."

The two grumbled and looked up at Takato, silently pleading with him to let them stay with him. He sighed and put a hand on both their heads. "I need you two to go with Mom back home. She'll show you both around the house and help you feel at home."

Draizen and Drairius hung their wings down and pouted, but they understood that they would need to obey their Tamer's commands. Reluctantly, they nodded and followed Bianca out of the Principal's office. Takato was dismissed back to class, and he said a quick farewell to his Digimon before heading returning to the classroom.

Bianca led the Dracomon through Tokyo, and the two dragon Digimon flew beside her, asking all sorts of questions as they passed by various shops and restaurants.

"Something smells good," Draizen said. "Can we grab a bite to eat?"

"What's this over here?" Drairius shouted as he peered into the window of an arcade. "Can we go inside? It looks so neat in there!"

Bianca and Tapirmon couldn't help but chuckle at the twins' antics. Tapirmon could remember when she first arrived in the real world. She had been mesmerized by the strange and alien world around her, and seeing these two young Digimons' excitement made her reminisce on those early days.

"They sure are curious, aren't they?" Tapirmon whispered to her partner.

Binaca nodded. "They're just like children."

A short while later, they arrived at Tai and Bianca's luxurious home. It was a huge, two-floor house with at least four guest bedrooms, and Draizen and Drairius could only gaped at the sheer size of it, their jaws slacked open and their eyes were as wide as saucers.

"That's where we're gonna live?" Drairius asked with shock. "It's so big!"

"That's right, you two. This is our home." Bianca replied with a big, warm smile. "Now, why don't I show you inside?"

Just as they were about to walk through the front door, a car pulled into the driveway. It was a nice, maroon-colored convertible, and once it came to a stop, the driver stepped out. It was a woman with short, red hair, and she was wearing a gorgeous blue sundress.

Another someone stepped out of the passenger side, and tt was an adorable pink bird Digimon. The two shut their car doors and waved to Bianca and the Dracomon twins.

"Ah, Sora!" Bianca said as the woman and Digimon approached the house. "I'm glad I was able to get home in time before you showed up. I'm sorry, I had to run over to the school. Takato just met his Digimon partners today."

"He did?" Sora beamed. "Oh, I'm so happy for him. I hope his brother and sister don't get too jealous."

Bianca then turned to the Dracomon and said. "Boys, these two are good friends of ours. Their names are Sora and Biyomon. Why don't you introduce yourselves?"

Draizen gave a little bow, and said. "My Tamer has given me the name 'Draizen'." Draizen then glanced at his brother and tapped Drairius's back with his tail, and Drairius got the hint. He too, gave a little bow.

"I am Drairius." He said.

"It's a pleasure to meet you both." Sora said.

Biyomon hopped over to them and asked. "How long have you two been in the real world?"

"Not very long." Draizen explained. "We got here just a little while ago."

"Have you liked it so far?"

"Aside from that big, metal, flying monster that chased us when we first got here, it's been pretty fun." Draizen said. "It had these big spinning wings-"

"Do you mean a helicopter?" Sora asked. Her warm smile had shifted into a concerned frown. She leaned in closer to Bianca and muttered. "That does remind me, I need to talk to you and Tai about something important."

"Tai won't be back from his business trip until tomorrow, I'm afraid. But you can go ahead an tell me about it. I'll fill him in later."

Bianca and Tapirmon led everyone inside.

"Tapirmon." Bianca said to her Digimon as she shut the front door. "Would you mind showing Draizen and Drairius around the house so Sora and I can catch up?"

Tapirmon nodded. "Of course. Follow me, you two."

"I can help with the tour!" Biyomon said. She had been over several times and knew the whole house from top to bottom.

Tapirmon smiled at her and the two showed the Dracomon twins around the big home. Bianca and Sora headed into the kitchen and Bianca began making some tea for them. Sora took a seat at the table and Bianca took her place across from her while they waited for the tea to be done.

"Let's start things off on a lighter topic," Sora began. "You said that you had some ideas for my next fashion show?"

"Yes, I did. You see, I was thinking that you could incorporate Digimon into some of your designs."

"Oh?"

"For example. Why not an outfit that can help me match with Tapirmon?"

"A complimentary style for human and Digimon partners. I think I may have an idea!"

The gears were turning in Sora's head, and she reached down into her bag and pulled out a sketch pad and colored pencils. She began drawing something, and within just a few minutes, she had the rough draft finished. It was a light purple, flowing dress, with white trimming and a light brown jacket over the top. The faceless model Sora had drawn was also wearing a golden bracelet on her right wrist.

"I based this outfit off of Tapirmon. What do you think?" Sora asked.

"I love it!" Bianca replied. "I'd happily wear this."

Sora smiled and returned the sketch pad to her bag. "Thank you for the inspiration, Bianca. I now have a theme for my next fashion show."
