Taranza is surprised to see both Magolor and Susie show up at the Floralian island of Royal Road to come see him at this time.
Both have reached out to him earlier today, and all three of them agreed to have a group hangout at Magolor's place in Nutty Noon at sunset. They've been preparing for a star allies conference that is scheduled to occur tomorrow afternoon, as Susie acted accordingly to vacation on Planet Popstar right now to be able to attend.
But it's still a few hours before sunset right now, and they didn't plan on having the group hangout take place here at Royal Road. So... what gives?
Now of course, Taranza wouldn't pass up such a moment where two of his best friends choose to visit him. But still, he's rather perplexed. Did they suddenly decide to change plans, or what?
Regardless, Taranza greets them both as they land right by the entrance of what was Queen Sectonia's castle. Susie showed up with her business suit, as it's her usual method of going around places.
"Good afternoon, friends!" said Taranza. "I must say, I'm a bit surprised! I didn't expect the both of you to come here right now, considering what we've planned out for later tonight. Did something happen that I should know about?"
"Hey, Taranza… there's something we need to talk to you about." said Magolor, in a gloomy tone. As he spoke, Susie hops out of her business suit and flips open her helmet's visor to make her big blue eyes visible, and then comes closer to the other two.
That got a slight gasp out of Taranza. The worrisome tone in Magolor's voice was enough for him to already figure out that something is wrong.
"Uh oh..." replied Taranza, as he begins to shake a little bit. "Is... is... is this bad?"
"Dude, it's really bad!" said Magolor, as he pressed his palms together. "There's a reason both of us came here at the same time! What we need to say to you is really going to make you upset!"
"Taranza, you're absolutely going to need our comfort after we tell you what we've just found out about!" said Susie, as she came over to Taranza and patted him on his shoulder. "As a matter of fact, I think it'd be best if we sit you down to talk about it. Do you mind if we take you somewhere around here to sit down together?"
Taranza's eyes widened. The tones that both are talking in are sending shivers down him. "Oh... oh shit..." he said, still shaking nervously. "I… I think I'll have us sit down at the castle's throne room for this..."
"That will work!" said Susie, pressing her palms together.
"Yeah, buddy, let's get us over there now!" said Magolor as he came over and patted Taranza on his other shoulder. "I already hate to think how you're going to respond to what I have to blow the whistle on! It fucking haunts me to think about it!"
"It really sounds like what you need to talk to me about is going to make me cry..." said Taranza. He's got the impression that they predict exactly how he's going to react to what they're going to disclose.
"That's because we believe it will make you cry! We believe it's going to make you incredibly angry and sad!" said Susie, as she pats Taranza on the shoulder again. Her tone became heavier in emotion. She looks very concerned. "If I'm being honest, I think we'll need to spend the rest of the night here with you, because we'll need to take care of you after we tell you about what we've heard. Let's go inside now to say what needs to be said! It's already making me worried about you, Taranza."
Taranza becomes more and more scared. He gulps multiple times. Both Magolor and Susie appear to be dead serious here. They've both interacted with Taranza frequently enough to where there's definite weight behind their words. He's felt better by their presence many times in the past, so if they now found out about something they believe is going to make him break down again, then whatever it is that they found out about must be… ominous. Very ominous.
The three of them walk together through the doorway to inside Royal Road's castle, as Susie left her business suit outside. They enter the exact location where Kirby fought Dedede when Taranza possessed him. The room where Queen Sectonia had blasted Taranza in disappointment.
They sit down at the middle floor, with Taranza being between Magolor and Susie so he can be patted on the back in both sides. As he prepares himself for what they have to say, part of his mind assumes that it to have something to do with Sectonia. Which is a bit strange… because at this point, he's actually made a little bit of progress in healing and getting over her death. Perhaps they've discovered something that will end up reopening a lot of old wounds for him?
"Okay... okay... okay..." said Taranza softly. "So... what... what did you guys find out about that you believe is going to cause me to go nuts?"
"We've found out that Sectonia's corruption was actually somebody else's fault instead of yours, Taranza." said Susie calmly with her palms pressed together. Her tone then takes a slightly more dramatic shift as she continues. "Somebody was in control of the mirror that you gave her! This somebody was using the mirror to cast a negative influence onto her! She was manipulated into becoming the giant wasp of madness that you've witnessed!"
Taranza's blood ran cold upon hearing all of this. For the longest time, he blamed himself for Sectonia's downfall. He's felt so, so ashamed of himself for it. Words couldn't explain the amount of guilt and regret he's felt for taking that mirror to give to her. Technically, it was Kirby that delivered the killing blow to Sectonia that ended her life, but Taranza did not fault Kirby for simply trying to save everything from her wrath. None of that would've never happened in the first place if she didn't end up spiraling the way she did.
To now realize that it... wasn't his own fault after all? That there was a different perpetrator?
"AAAAAHHHHH!" screamed Taranza in fright, as he starts to shiver. "Somebody else caused it?! It really wasn't me after all?! So, I really didn't need to beat myself up about it so much, because it was really somebody else that was responsible for everything that happened?!"
"Yes, all the trauma you've suffered was because of somebody else's actions!" said Susie, as she placed her hand on Taranza's shoulder. "I'll let Mags explain how we've discovered this, as he overheard what was supposed to be a 'private conversation' between two other people. This 'private conversation' revealed the one that corrupted Sectonia. Now, Mags, if you will?"
Magolor pressed his palms together as he begins. "So, I happened to be nearby a private talk between Dark Meta Knight and Daroach. I ended up overhearing what they were saying..." he said. "Taranza, buddy, you're going to flip the fuck out to know that Sectonia's doom was caused by a FELLOW STAR ALLY!"
Taranza's eyes widened as his blood ran cold again. Did he hear that right? A FELLOW STAR ALLY, somebody who participated in the same adventure as he did in saving the universe from Void Termina, was the one responsible for inflicting all his trauma onto him? He... he couldn't even begin to fathom it. It... it can't be. Is this a daydream or something?
"WHAT THE FUCK?!" asked Taranza as his heart raced at an alarming rate and struggled to process it in his mind. He wants to ask who was the one that did it, but his mind and emotions are too overwhelmed to speak any more at this current moment.
But thankfully, before he can ask, Magolor utters out who did it.
"Dark Meta Knight is the reason why Sectonia turned into a monster!" shouted Magolor, as his tone became more extreme. "He's the one that used the mirror to corrupt her!"
That right there caused Taranza to flip his shit. It triggered him to scream. "AAAAAAHHHHHHH!" he screamed as he placed four of his hands on his head. He's just about to go berserk. "DARK META KNIGHT?! FUCKING... DARK META KNIGHT?! THAT KNIGHT WITH THE SCAR ON HIS MASK?! HE'S THE ONE THAT DID IT?! MY LIFE HAS BEEN RUINED BECAUSE OF HIM?!"
"Yes! I'm not kidding dude!" said Magolor, as he placed his hand on Taranza's shoulder to calm him down for a moment. Thus, he can continue disclosing what he overheard. "He outright CONFESSED HIS INVOLVEMENT IN THAT SITUATION to Daroach! Dark Meta Knight, in his own words, made sure that the mirror turned Sectonia into a 'beautiful beast with dark magic'! Then he threatened Daroach to not tell anyone else about it, or else he'll hurt him. It scared me shitless to hear it all, and I knew it was something that you absolutely would've wanted to know! When I heard enough, I quietly left without them knowing, because I didn't want Daroach or myself to get hurt."
"Mags then told me about it, and we've both agreed to come here to disclose it to you." said Susie. Her hand was placed on Taranza's shoulder for a little while, but now she's patting it. "Taranza, my friend... my good friend, I've also been mortified to know that it was somebody else in the star alliance that was responsible for causing all of your pain! Good Nova... Dark Meta Knight. Back then, I thought he was kind of cool, but now I despise him after finding out that he's the one that ruined everything for you. I can't believe that damn savage calls himself a knight!" Her eyes narrowed in anger during those last couple of sentences.
"I tried to make friends with Dark Meta at one point, but he just kept giving me the cold shoulder." said Magolor. "Now, though, when I've found out about all this? I'm appalled! He's totally deserved to be made fun of by Marx all those times!"
Taranza took several moments to process everything that Magolor and Susie had just said.
So.. it was Dark Meta Knight all along that was responsible for kickstarting the chain of events that changed everything for the worse for Taranza?
It was Dark Meta Knight's action to cause Sectonia to turn into a corrupt, power-hungry dictator that then became hellbent on conquering Floralia and then eventually Dream Land with an iron fist?
It was Dark Meta Knight's action of corrupting Sectonia that caused Taranza to kidnap King Dedede and put Kirby through a lot of trouble in the name of her?
It was Dark Meta Knight's action that eventually forced Kirby, Dedede, Taranza and the People of the Sky to collectively make the decision to put Sectonia down, so she could no longer be a danger to everybody, including herself?
All of that happened because of Dark Meta Knight? Meta Knight's wretched bastard of a mirror counterpart that became one of the star allies? He decided that it was okay to turn Sectonia into a monster that started so much trouble and eventually needed to be put out of her misery?
Does that false knight realize the aftermath of what he's caused? Not only did he ruin Taranza's life, but what he did also affected King Dedede because it led to his kidnapping. It also affected Kirby, as he's had to stop the corrupted Sectonia that resulted from what Dark Meta Knight caused to occur.
Taranza starts to feel sick to his stomach now.
Even before being exposed to this revelation, Taranza already didn't really get along with Dark Meta Knight. Upon first meeting him when the star alliance was forming, he didn't have a good impression of Meta Knight's mirror counterpart, who dismissed the spider as pathetic and treated him as such. The two didn't have much of anything to do with each other, though, other than events that warranted all the star allies to attend.
But now? When he's now realized that Dark Meta Knight is the reason why the person he cared about the most turned into an irreversible monster that needed to be put down?
It's making him livid. Absolutely livid. This is... this is reopening so many old wounds for him!
It doesn't help that he's going to have to encounter Dark Meta Knight at the star allies conference tomorrow. Or... maybe it does help… considering what he's starting to think about what he wants to do to him.
Despite Magolor and Susie having their hands placed on Taranza's shoulders to try to comfort him, he can't help himself but let off some serious steam. He gets up and snaps.
"That... that son of a bitch!" Taranza shouted. His voice then becomes louder, eventually turning into a scream. "That disgusting, terrible, abhorrent piece of shit wronged me! To think he's gotten away with it for all these fucking years because only now did I just find out about it. That bastard. That... that ABSOLUTE BASTARD!"
Magolor and Susie get up as well. They knew Taranza was going to react this wildly, as they've been worried about him. Watching this rage doesn't surprise them, but it's always made them sad to see their buddy become distressed like this. It's hard to watch.
They knew he needed their comfort after telling him about what they've discovered. But right now, while they want to try to comfort him again, they honestly decide that it might be better to just allow him to let off this steam first before they do so. Sometimes, people need to be allowed to ventilate, even if how they ventilate seems rather unrestrained.
"THAT MOTHERFUCKER!" Taranza screamed at the top of his lungs. He's been driven insane now. "THAT FUCKING BASTARD NEEDS TO PAY FOR WHAT'S HE DONE TO ME! I'M GOING TO MAKE HIM MOTHERFUCKING PAY!"
At this point, his rage builds up to where he starts becoming out of control. He screams again, as he lunges forward.
"FUCK DARK META KNIGHT!" he screams yet another time, as he forms a large magical ball out of his hands. He hardly seems to know what he's doing, but he's just so incredibly angry right now!
Magolor and Susie now become frightened. What is Taranza doing?! Is he just going to beat up his own place out of rage?! They now make the decision to try to stop him before he ends up tearing up his own place, or worse, gets himself hurt.
"TARANZA NO!" Susie screamed, as she and Magolor reach to Taranza. But before they could grab him, he throws the large magical ball onto the floor and shakes the ground around them. He needs to be calmed down before this gets worse!
As he growls in rage and begins to form another magical ball out of his hands, the other two grab him. "Taranza! Come on, buddy!" said Magolor, as he and Susie try to calm him down and make him stop materializing the next magical ball. "We totally understand your anger, we really do, but you don't have to destroy your own home! You've got to control yourself just a little bit, pal!"
Eventually, they succeed in calming him down. The next magical ball he was going to form starts fading away. After Taranza has been made to calm down, his eyes begin to shed tears, indicating he's about to start crying.
Susie makes Taranza face her. "Taranza... you need this." she said softly, as she then gives him a hug. It takes him a moment to hug her back with six of his hands.
"I... I..." Taranza began to talk while still in a hug with Susie. His eyes watered more deeply. "I... I... I've got to do something about that BASTARD who did all of this to me!"
"I promise that we'll make sure you get the chance to do that!" said Susie. She then manages to get herself and Taranza to sit down while continuing the hug, to hopefully comfort him more. Magolor comes over, attempting to pat the spider on the head.
Taranza starts crying now. Susie keeps hugging onto him, and Magolor continues patting him on the head.
"Hey, Taranza, you know that we've both found solace in each other ever since we first met." Susie continued talking, trying to be as soothing as possible in her tone. "We've really helped each other heal from our losses, and from the things we've been through. And all those times you chose to stand up for me when someone spoke out against me because of the things I've done in the past? I really, really appreciate all of it. I really do. I'm so sorry that what we just told you has reopened old wounds for you. I knew that was going to happen! That's why we're going to spend the rest of the night here with you, like I said earlier. You have both me and Mags right by your side, okay? We support you, Taranza. We really do."
Susie doesn't usually act this kind, caring and considerate to most people. Rather, she's come off as somewhat cold and formal to many. She's not very well received among the star allies. She's not the least reputable out of them, as Marx and Dark Meta Knight are more infamous than she is, but she's still received her fair share of criticism... especially from Meta Knight, who understandably still hasn't forgiven her for what she did to him back then. Luckily for her, however, she's also had a few defenders, with Kirby and Taranza being the biggest two in that regard.
She's grown to be truly grateful for the few people that have stood up for her time after time, and thus she's been much nicer to her defenders than to most other people. Especially in Taranza's case, where Susie really pities him... it hit home for her when she recognized the similarities that his tragedy had to hers, and she found consolation to have a friend that's had similarly traumatic experiences. It's gotten to the point that he's one of the few people who she's grown to genuinely care about the feelings for.
Taranza never held Susie's invasion incident against her. He understood more than well enough that she was trying to get her father back, as his situation where he just wanted to stick by Sectonia's side wasn't too different. He's also found consolation to be Susie's friend.
"T-t-t-thank you so much for all the times I've had with you, Susie..." said Taranza in heavy emotion. He still cries. "... and thank you so much as well, Mags. Really, I couldn't be more thankful for the both of you..."
"Oh, buddy, it's my pleasure!" replied Magolor, as he never stopped patting Taranza in the head. "We're really sorry that we had to reveal that information to you! It spooked the shit out of us when we've learned about it, but it would've felt wrong to not let you know about it too! We believed that you deserved to know the truth, Taranza. I'm sure that we'll all get through this together, and like Susie said, we'll make sure you give that guy a piece of your mind."
Magolor, of course, is another person that Taranza found real consolation in being friends with. Magolor would often talk to him about magic, or would try to make him laugh, or would generally help get him out of his comfort zone. Taranza considered Magolor to always be fun to talk to. Heck, he's even made progress of going back to being an arrogant tomfoolery doer thanks to Magolor's encouragement. The two have become partners-in-crime many times.
Really... Taranza, Magolor and Susie have all found solace in each other. All three of them. All three of them have had trauma and helped each other heal. They've effectively made a friend group out of each other. Kirby was another thing they all united about, as they've all made up with him due to being sorry for giving him trouble, and he's given them numerous hugs to help them recover from all the things they've been through. They're some of Kirby's more tragic friends that have been trying to better themselves and heal after what happened.
For the last few years, Taranza has actually made genuine progress in healing from the death of Sectonia. Truth be told, he was in a good mood earlier today before the revelation that Dark Meta Knight was involved in Sectonia's corruption.
Once that revelation was made known to him, however, it has absolutely reopened old wounds for him right now. His mood is becoming dramatic again. He really, really wants revenge against that crooked knight. He really wants to get after him big time. He doesn't intend to let anything stop him from doing so. Quite frankly, he wants to hunt him down. He wants to ravage him so bad! That nasty knight from the mirror world has gotten away with it for so long, he needs to finally face his comeuppance.
But despite all of the sudden rage he feels right now, he does manage to take comfort to see two of his best friends, Magolor and Susie, fiercely sticking right by his side and helping make sure that he can get his revenge. Because of that, he's grateful for the both of them.
"THANK YOU BOTH!" Taranza managed to shout, as he's still not done crying. Susie still keeps hugging onto him until he finally allows himself to calm down.
Eventually, he finally calms down. He's still upset about the revelation, but he allows himself to relax for now. After he's relaxed, the hug finally ends.
The three continue hanging out around Royal Road for the rest of the night, to hopefully get Taranza to keep relaxing for the time being. Just like what Magolor and Susie promised, they'll spend the night with Taranza. Royal Road has several beds available for guests to sleep in, so that's where they'll sleep.
There's still that conference tomorrow that they need to attend, though. It's going to be complicated for Taranza, for reasons that are now obvious.
When these conferences for the star allies come up, they're all encouraged to hang around in Popstar in preparation for it. The ones that don't live in Popstar are encouraged to vacation on the planet in time for the event if they're able to. Susie is one of the star allies that doesn't live in Popstar, as she lives on a different planet. She's managed to work it out on her schedule to set up a vacation on the planet for this week, so she's able to attend the meeting. Dark Meta Knight is another star ally that doesn't live in Popstar, and he appears to be vacationing on the planet too, as evidenced by the fact that he had a private conversation with Daroach that Magolor overheard.
Right before they go to bed is when they decide to talk about it some more. They all intend to sleep in differing beds inside the castle, but they're currently sitting in one bed together to talk. Taranza is sitting in the middle between the other two again.
"So, you know that we're gonna have to bump into Dark Meta Knight at the gathering tomorrow, right?" asked Magolor.
"Yes. I know." replied Taranza, in a fierce tone. Just even mentioning the guy by name is enough to start making him feel angry again.
They haven't talked about the guy for the last few hours they've been hanging out. But they've inevitably needed to talk about the conference set to happen tomorrow. It's an event that all the star allies need to attend, and since Dark Meta Knight is a star ally, that means he'll show up. Taranza is going to need to encounter Dark Meta Knight tomorrow. Truthfully, he wants to use that as an opportunity to get his revenge.
It's complicated, however. In conferences like this, there's the rule that fights aren't allowed while the event is going on. Oh, does Taranza wish that rule wasn't there.
Susie placed her hand on Taranza's shoulder again. "Tomorrow is certainly going to be rough!" she said calmly. "I recognize that these events have guidelines that we need to follow, including being on our best behavior. I know what you're thinking of wanting to do, Taranza, and I'll let you know that I fully understand it. I believe that you should be given the chance to do what you want to do! Perhaps we can find a chance to let you do what you're thinking of doing after the event is over, if they hopefully allow us."
"That's what's gonna make it hard!" said Magolor. "We know we can't have a fight happen while in session! I also don't want to ruin it for our Jambastion friends. We'll need to get this figured out!"
Tomorrow's conference is about Hyness and the Mage Sisters making an announcement that they'll begin taking vacations on Popstar, as well as talking about their history. Ever since Kirby and the rest of the star allies saved them and gave them their happy ending, they've taken these last few months straightening up their home at the Jambastion fortress. They wanted to get their lives back in order before they start taking vacations on other places. Now is when they've finally gotten themselves together. They've contacted King Dedede to schedule a conference to announce to the rest of the star allies that they'll start taking vacations on the star-shaped planet, so any of the other star allies that wish to hang out with the Jamba crew in Popstar are welcome to do so during the times they visit.
Out of the star allies, Magolor, Taranza and Susie are the Mage Sisters' closest friends. All three of them have been visiting them at their fortress to occasionally give them extra company while they've been getting themselves together. They're glad that they finally straightened themselves and are ready to start taking vacations.
That Taranza is friends with the Mage Sisters is what's going to make tomorrow difficult. He absolutely wants to get revenge on Dark Meta Knight when he encounters him. But he also doesn't want to ruin it for the Mage Sisters. That's what sucks! How can he properly get his revenge on the one that ruined his life without ruining the event? He really, really wants to get his revenge. He doesn't want to leave the place of the event without attacking Dark Meta Knight if he has the chance. He really wishes that he'll be allowed a chance. That guy just seriously makes him angry in general. Just seeing that knight will be enough to make him go insane.
Man. This is going to be hard. In fact, Taranza is going to have a hard time sleeping tonight just thinking about it.
"Hey guys, how in the hell am I going to sleep tonight?" asked Taranza, as he begins to shake a little bit. "I don't want to ruin things for the Mage Sisters. I really don't. I'd feel bad for them if I did. But good Nova.. at the same time, I just can't let that bastard continue to get away with what he did to me! This is really haunting me! What am I gonna do?!"
The other two aren't surprised to hear that.
"I don't know, Taranza." replied Magolor. "I had a feeling you'd lose sleep over this, though! That's part of the reason we'll spend the night here! You could still talk to us if you're struggling to sleep. I know Susie isn't a heavy sleeper."
"Indeed, I'm not." said Susie. "As for how we can handle tomorrow, I recommend the three of us walk there together at the same time. Taranza, it's clear that you'll need both me and Mags to stick right by your side tomorrow. To prevent the meeting from being ruined, we'll keep you from even looking at Dark Meta Knight at all while it's going on, to prevent a disruption. When the meeting is over, we'll figure things out from there!"
Taranza nodded his head in agreement to that plan. After he nodded his head, Magolor and Susie then gave him pats on the back. He really appreciates them both.
"I'll do my best to go along with that." said Taranza. He's not sure how honest he is with those words, though, because he really desires revenge. "Wait! Where's the conference supposed to take place at, again?"
"It's supposed to be somewhere in Dream Land." said Susie. "I think it's near Dedede's castle? I don't quite remember."
"Yes! It's close to there!" replied Magolor. "I've been to that building before. I can guide us there if need be! Getting there won't be a problem at all!"
"Okay…" said Taranza weakly.
"I'm not sure if you guys are ready to go to sleep, but I think I am." said Magolor. "But before I go to sleep... Taranza, just know that you're supported and appreciated! Not just from me and Susie, but from a lot of other people as well. I know because I've seen it! You've really been given a lot of grace for a while, now. We're all here for you, buddy. You've been a good friend. I know tomorrow isn't going to be easy... but we'll try to get through it if we can!"
And after that, Magolor gave Taranza a hug.
He's right about what he said, too. Taranza has indeed been given a lot of grace over the years. He has made lots of friends over the years that sympathize with him and support him.
Taranza has made up with Kirby and King Dedede ever since the Dreamstalk incident. He's buddies with them, now. Kirby has given him numerous hugs. Dedede even invites him over to his castle sometimes.
Meta Knight has also shown his support for Taranza. He genuinely pities the poor spider.
Bandana Dee was personally very traumatized by when Dedede was kidnapped, so he's had trouble forgiving Taranza, but even he couldn't help but feel pity when realizing what the spider's been going through. Dedede has been working to get Bandana Dee to warm up to Taranza.
The animal friends have all given Taranza grace as well. Nago is the one he likes the most, though, since that fat roly poly cat gives him a lot of needed hugs. Coo have been gracious enough to give Taranza a tour throughout Popstar to help him understand the planet more. Rick and Kine have attempted to make the spider smile and laugh. ChuChu is also good with him, since they enjoy flora together. Pitch, despite his usual silly and rowdy self, has also provided friendliness to the spider.
Gooey has also been incredibly sweet to Taranza. The lovable sympathetic blue blob has made the spider smile a lot of times.
Adeleine has been good with him as well. She has painted things that he likes, just to try to make him smile.
Ribbon and Daroach are a bit more distant from Taranza compared to the others, but they've shown sympathy to him before.
Marx… even though he is Magolor's friend, he's someone that Taranza doesn't like. The jester has gotten on his nerves a few times.
When the Mage Sisters got accepted into the star alliance, Taranza managed to befriend them. They've all been good to him. He's not quite as close friends with them as he is with Susie, but nevertheless he still appreciates their support. Hyness has also been kind to him.
Magolor and Susie, however, can pretty much be considered his two best friends.
His singular best friend might just be Susie, though, due to the sheer amount of solace the two found in each other due to their losses. Kirby introduced them to each other, and it turned out that he knew what he was doing when he believed that the two could be friends... because friends they absolutely became. They bonded quick when they talked to each other about their losses. They've defended each other from trouble numerous times. They've really been felt better by each other's company. Susie's voice being shockingly similar to Sectonia's voice is also an extra thing that Taranza likes about her.
Taranza is grateful for all the grace he's been given. It's just unfortunate that old wounds have been reopened now, though.
"I really appreciate you both..." said Taranza emotionally.
"It's okay, we're here for you!" said Susie, with her eyes happily squinting. She pats Taranza on the back again a few more times. "Also, I think most people would pick your side if a fight between you and Dark Meta Knight were to happen after the meeting. I really do think that."
She wouldn't be wrong to think that.
Dark Meta Knight is the single most notorious star ally. Most of the other star allies want nothing to do with him, although Marx enjoys harassing him. Dark Meta Knight's only friends in the alliance are Daroach, Adeleine and Ribbon, and all three of them really do like him because he's shown kindness and care for them. He could care less about the rest of them, though.
And unfortunately for Dark Meta Knight, he's likely going to become even more infamous than before thanks to his involvement in Sectonia's corruption now becoming known. Taranza will certainly have something to say about it.
Appreciating Susie's words, Taranza gestures for another hug. The two hug again.
"Well, I think I'll be trying to go to sleep as well." said Susie, after they finished hugging. "Good night, Taranza! I hope you can manage to get some needed rest! You're welcome to wake us up if you're struggling to sleep and decide you want to talk to us again."
Taranza did not give a verbal response. He's not really feeling like saying anything. Instead, he nods his head yes.
Magolor and Susie both get off the bed they've been sitting on, while Taranza still sits on it.
"Good night, Taranza!" said Magolor. "I know we'll be having a hefty day tomorrow, but just take comfort in knowing this: we've got your back." He gave Taranza a few more pats on the back.
The three of them then went to the beds inside Royal Road's castle that they intend to sleep in.
Magolor and Susie go to sleep once they get into their beds. Taranza tries to go to sleep, too.
Man... tomorrow is going to be a rough day for Taranza. He can already feel it while he's trying to sleep.
He's not sure if he'll be able to make through it without a disaster happening.
A tough, painful time is ahead.
