Back in Augsburg, Muriel was stood on the stone parapet as Satan came wondering out to see her as Augustus came out as well. Muriel was looking out at the night sky as she was in human form as Augustus came to stand next to her.

'I had hoped Bella would be home by now.' Muriel said as she continued to stare out at the night sky.

'Muriel, I hate to say this but we may have to accept that Charylisabella is dead.' Augustus said as Muriel turned to face him with horror on her face.

'What?' She asked as she looked at him.

'She's been gone for four days now.' Augustus said as he looked at her. 'If those warlocks have her, they would have killed her straight away.'

'But what if you're wrong? What if she's out there alive somewhere?' Muriel asked as she looked at him. 'What if she got away from them.'

'If she did, she won't survive for long.' He said as he continued. 'If they didn't kill her they would have hurt her so much that she would have died from her injuries.'

'Why, are you being so negative about this?' Muriel asked as she looked at him before continuing. 'Don't you want Charylisabella home?'

'Of course I want her home!' Augustus yelled as Muriel glared at him. 'But we have to be realistic.'

'Don't you dare take that tone with me.' Muriel snapped as she looked at him.

'Look I am sorry, but we have to admit we have lost her forever.' He said as he walked back into the lair as Muriel stood on the balcony looking out at the night sky before heading back into the lair as she headed to her room.

Muriel was sat at her desk as there was a letter on her desk as she wondered who it was from. She opened the letter as it only had four words written across the page

Think on your sins

Muriel looked at it confused as she wondered who it was from as she tuned the letter as there was other letters.

Or the girl dies

Muriel threw the letter into the fire as she stood in her room. Augustus came walking into her room.

'You ok?' He asked as Muriel nodded as she looked at him.

'Come, we have a Sabbath to prepare for.' Muriel said as she walked out of the lair to where her witches were waiting.
