These idea of a fanfic I got last night. It´s a story about Dylan and Kelly and their time after Donnas and Davids Wedding. It´s only about Dylan and Kelly. But it´s probably nothing for DK-Fans…enjoy

It´s a one-shot.

Soulmates Or Not

It was a wonderful wedding. Dylan and I danced and kissed all night. We had each other again. After two years of back and forth and all the drama surrounding Matt and Gina, we were back together. Dylan and I…as it should always be. Brenda and Brandon didn´t show up for the wedding. Maybe it should be. I felt bad about Brandon. I would have liked to see him again. But I´m not sad about Brenda. Should she stay where she is. Dylan McKay is mine…and only mine.

Soon went Donna and David on their honeymoon.

Dylan and I didn´t want to wait any longer either. Already on the way to the hotel room we kissed passionately. And as soon as we were in the room, we tore our clothes off. No more bad conscience. We wouldn´t cheat on anyone this time. It was just us…

The sex was great. It was like swinging from the chandelier. It was nice with Matt too, but it was so exciting with Dylan. We knew what we wanted and what we needed. We just needed each other. We had sex until dawn and slept until noon.

Dylan was still asleep when I woke up. If I imagined waking up like this every morning? I didn´t want to get out of bed with him.

I kissed him, wanting to wake him up that way. And I was lucky. He woke up with a grin. I kissed him passionately and Dylan understood what I wanted. In the afternoon we drove back to the Beach Apartment. And again we couldn´t keep our hands off each other.

„What would you like now?" Dylan asked her.

„Only you." She replied and kissed him again.

„You are unimaginative." Dylan grinned and kissed her. He pressed her against the wall. She felt his hands under her blouse.

„There is a place I would like to go with you again. Where it all started." Kelly looked at him seductively.

„Where then?"

„Paradise Cove." Beamed she. „There was our first night together."

„I remember." Dylan smiled at her.

Paradise Cove was where they fell asleep arm in arm. It was the summer they cheated on Brenda.

„Gladly." Dylan smiled at her again. „But this time all we need is only one sleeping bag."

They drove up to the beach. They found the place immediately. A campfire was quickly lit.

In the sleeping bag, they undressed with relish while kissing.

„I wanted to do that with you back then." Kelly took off Dylan´s boxers.

Looking hot, Kelly sat on Dylan´s lap and undid her bra. Dylan just looked at her. And then Kelly began to ride Dylan hard while the campfire crackled behind them.

Grinning as the sun came up, Kelly and Dylan packed up their stuff and headed back to the beach appartment.

„I really need a shower." Laughed Kelly as she unlocked the apartment.

„But it was worth it." Dylan kissed her again. And so they both wandered into the bathroom.

Dylan drove Kelly to the mall. And after a fierce kiss goodbye, Kelly got out of the car and Dylan drove on.

Kelly walked past Matt´s former office. Matt didn´t seem to have hesitated for long. Everything was gone. Kelly exhaled. What would her life be like now? Married to Matt? Then she thought about last night. She could never have done that with Matt. Grinning, she continued to her office.

Dylan meanwhile drove to the Peach Pit. There he met Steve who was waiting of a new client.

They greeted each other warmly and Dylan ordered a breakfast.

„And?" Steve asked. „Did you get through the wedding well?" He raised his brows.

„O yes. Especially the time afterwards." Dylan just grinned at Steve.

„Tell me McKay, how about getting married? I mean, you and Kelly would be last."

„Steve, I´ve been married before. I don´t want to have to go through something like this again."

„Kelly and you have known each other since kindergarten. Don´t you think you can put your ego aside?"

„Let´s change the subject." Dylan looked at Steve seriously.

Then apparently Steve´s client came and Steve left the Peach Pit.

It could only be good for Dylan. So he could enjoy his breakfast in peace.

At the end of the day, Dylan picked Kelly up again. He kissed her hard in greeting. In the car, Kelly started talking about her day. Dylan only half listened to her. He only thought on sex with her as soon as they would came home.

At one point, Kelly asked Dylan about his day.

„I was in the Peach Pit." Admitted Dylan taciturnly.

„All day?" Kelly looked at him.

„Yes. Why not?"

„I wanted to talk to you about that anyway."

„About what?"

„About our future. I´ve been thinking a lot about us today."

„I thought you were only thinking about our last night." Dylan raised an eyebrow and gave her a horny look.

„That too." She grinned back.

At the apartment door, Dylan started kissing Kelly. Blindly she opened the door.

„I dreamed about you all day. From your body." Dylan started undressing Kelly.

„Dylan, I wanted to talk to you."

But Dylan kissed her neck, her lips. And Kelly was paralyzed. She forgot what she wanted to say. They spent the whole evening first on the sofa, in the shower and then in bed.

With a big grin, Dylan and Kelly drove back to work the next day. And then he drove to the Peach Pit again.

At the pickup, Kelly asked Dylan again if he had spent the day in the Peach Pit.

„Yeah, I helped Nat out a bit."

Kelly didn´t seem to like that answer. Dylan saw Kelly´s gaze.

„Do you mind?"

„Is that really your goal now? Spending every day in the Peach Pit?" She looked at him.

„Why not?"

„You have you college degree. You should think about what you want to do with your life."

„First of all, I want to spend a nice evening with you." Dylan looked at Kelly.

And Kelly knew what that meant.

After driving Kelly back to work the next day, Dylan drove to the beach instead of the Pit. He needed to clear his head. He couldn´t get Kelly´s words out of his head.

The water and the waves did him good. The subsequent beer too. And as Dylan watched the beach, a brunette beauty caught his eye. Dylan took another sip of his beer and checked her up and down.

Long, slighty curly, light brown hair, long, well tanned, sexy bottom.

As if the young woman would notice Dylan watching her, she turned to face him. Dylan couldn´t help himself. He knew this woman.

The woman came straight at him. „Dylan McKay?"

„Yes. I know you." Dylan looked at her in amusement. „Janie."

Of course…Dylan thought. As if he would forget that smile.

„Do you live here now?" Dylan asked interested.

„No." Janie laughed. „I´m just visiting my brother here." Her eyes fell on the beer bottle. „Do you have another?"

„Sure." Dylan reached out and handed her a bottle of beer as she flopped down on the sand next to Dylan.

She was very pretty. Dylan glanced at her breasts. They were perfect. And her long legs.

„What are you doing here in broad daylight? Don´t you go to work?" She laughed.

„I do not need that. I inherited well."

„I know." Janie bowed her head. „I heard about your father." Janie looked at him.

Dylan wanted to tell her that his father was still alive, but then decided otherwise. „Yes, good old Jack had been in all the newspapers." Dylan wanted to change the subject. „And you?" He asked back.

„I have my own sports equipment shop. Among other things, surfboards."

„Real?" Dylan´s expression brightened.

„Yes. My shop is in San Francisco. I live there too."

They continued to drink their beer together.

„Are you hungry?" Dylan asked directly.

„If you know something good?"

„Remember the Peach Pit?"

„Is that still here?"

„Sure, of course." Dylan smiled again.

Kelly looked at the clock. Then back to her desk. Her job was done. And she hasn´t had a call in two hours. She decided to call it a day andd stop by the Peach Pit on her way home to get some burgers for dinner.

But when she entered the Pit, she shouldn´t believe her eyes. She spotted Dylan and Janie at a table. Pretty familiar. They both laughed heartily.

Angry, Kelly approached her.

„Oh, that´s why you spend so much time here." Lightning flashed from Kelly´s eyes.

Janie looked questioningly at Dylan.

Dylan exhaled. „Janie, this is Kelly. Kelly, Janie." He briefly introduced the two ladies. „Perhaps you remember. We were in the same kindergarten."

Janie´s expression brightened. Yes, she recognized Kelly. Kelly apparently didn´t remember.

„I´m his girlfriend." Kelly glared at Janie.

But Janie seemed completely unfazed by this.

Kelly wasn´t done yet. „What are you doing here?"

„We´re going to sit here and eat something." Dylan was easygoing.

„And where did you meet?" Kelly still stand.

„I went surfing on the beach a bit…"

„I thought you were looking for a job?" Kelly cut Dylan off.

Janie had to bite back a laugh and just chuckled. That was enough for Dylan.

„Excuse me please." He looked at Janie.

Janie just nodded and without further words he pulled Kelly out into the parking lot.

„What are you thinking of talking to me like that in front of Janie?" He yelled at Kelly.

„Are you sleeping with her?" Kelly yelled back. Apparently that was the only thing that interested her.

„I just saw her today."

„It doesn´t mean anything to you." Kelly´s jealousy was terrible.

„I met her and we wanted to eat something and that was it." Dylan raised his hands. He just wanted peace.

„Fine. Then enjoy your burger." Kelly turned and went to her car.

Dylan looked after her. He hated Kelly´s jealousy.

Later he discovered Kelly in the apartment. Kelly read a fashion magazine.

„Is your meal over?" Kelly asked, striving for calm.

„Yes, I brought Janie home."

Kelly flipped the pages wordlessly.

„Am I not allowed to talk to an other woman?"

Kelly scrolled faster.

„It was nothing with Janie and it will be nothing with any other woman either."

Kelly still didn´t say anything.

Dylan went to her on the sofa and sat down to her. Now Kelly looked at him.

Dylan leaned in and kissed her.

„Let´s marry Dylan." Kelly spoke.

Dylan was undeterred and continued to kiss her.

„Let´s finally get married."

Dylan took her hands and lifted Kelly up. Their kiss became more and more passionate. He didn´t give Kelly another chance to talk. They slowly took off each other´s clothes. In the bedroom, Kelly lay naked on the bed. Dylan looked at her. He lay down on her with relish and with a strong thrust he was inside her.

When Kelly fell asleep, Dylan got up and crept onto the terrace. He thought of the day and Kelly´s reaction. He knew things were getting serious between them. The subject of marriage now stood between them. Kelly wanted to get married, he knew that. But did he want it?

For the next few days, Dylan tried by all means to avoid the subject of marriage by literally kissing her ass. Unfortunately he didn´t see Janie anymore either. Whenever he was at the beach, she wasn´t there.

„Great." Dylan cursed. Kelly did it. What did Kelly expect from him? Did she want to lock him up? That he can´t talk to anyone but her?

Dylan was beginning to wonder if he even wanted that kind of relationship with her. He was always freedom-loving. He didn´t want rules.

Suddenly he thought of Brenda. They had lived together for three years. It had been a great time. They had never argued. She had loved him how he was. He still didn´t know why they broke up.

But now he was back and he had Kelly.

Well, they had very good sex. Dylan liked it. But was that all for their relationship? When they weren´t having sex, Kelly only talked about herself and her family. They never talked about Erica or Iris.

And now she was thinking of marriage. Ever since Toni was killed, he had never thought about getting married again. On the contrary…he wanted to travel. Preferably make a trip around the world with Kelly. Every week a different city, a different country. Explore the world with her during the day and spend hot nights between her thighs at night.

Would Kelly agree? He would ask her first thing in the next morning. Then she would finally have forgotten the subject of marriage.

At breakfast, Kelly sipping her cup of tea, Dylan got going.

„What do you think of a trip around the world? Just you and me."

Kelly looked at him. „What do you mean?"

„I mean, you shut down your office for a few weeks and we pack up and get on the next plane."

„How do you imagine that? I just got my agency a few weeks ago. I can´t close now."

„And if you can." Dylan leaned in and kissed her.

„Can we move this to tonight? I have to go now too." Kelly finished the tea and stood up. „You can think about what you´re going to do with your day instead of just hanging out on the beach." She gave him a reproachful look and then left the apartment.

Dylan was pissed. He looked at the fridge. He needed beer. This wasn´t the reaction he had hoped for. There was no beer in the fridge. Of course not. Kelly paid attention. He slammed the fridge door, grabbed his surfboard and left the apartment. Now he needed „the green room" to relax.

When Kelly got home after work, Dylan wasn´t there. She found no note, nothing. She only noticed that his surfboard was gone.

„I knew it." She snorted.

Sometime around 9 p.m. the door opened and Dylan walked happily into the apartment.

„Hi my wife!" He shouted. His voice was drunk.

„Where have you been?" Kelly yelled at him.

„Outside with the boys and a few beers." Dylan slurred.

„With the boys?" Kelly raised an eyebrow.

„Hmm, maybe a few hot chicks were there too?" Dylan staggered over to her and kissed her.

Disgusted, Kelly walked away from him.

„You´re completely drunken."

„Yes, I really am." Dylan was still slurring.

„Here." Kelly threw him a newspaper with job offers. „While you have fun on the beach I´ve spent all day picking something out for you."

Dylan picked up the newspaper and saw jobs circled in red.

He read. „Wow, swimming teacher, social worker, psychologist…"

„All professions that would suit you."

„It all sounds a lot more tempting than a trip around the world…" Dylan´s sarcasm was inmistakable.

„How do you imagine that Dylan? I´ll leave everything here and go away with you for weeks?"

„Yes, Kelly." Dylan was looking at her seriously now. „It was exactly how I had imagined our time. Just the two of us. We don´t have to justify ourselves to anyone. And for the first time, we don´t cheat or have to feel guilty."

Kelly looked at Dylan sadly. „You´re not going to call any of the jobs?"

„No I will not." Dylan slowly walked towards her. „I don´t want to make any commitments, Kelly. I want to enjoy life with you. Without any rules or thoughts."

„That means you won´t marry me either." Shut Kelly out of it

„Are you starting that again?" Dylan shook his head.

„I finally want an answer." Kelly grew louder.

„Fine." Dylan grew louder too. „No, I will not marry you."

„Then why are you with me?" Kelly yelled.

„You´re the one who was always chasing after me. Even when you were with Matt or Brandon. You always wanted something from me, too."

„Who took me to Mexico and slept there with me?"

„You never said No. I never did what you didn´t want. So don´t blame me."

For a few seconds was silence between the two.

„No." Kelly looked down. „I blame myself."

Then she lifted her head and looked at Dylan. „I´m going to sleep at Donna´s tonight. When I come home tomorrow you´ll be gone."

„I feel the same way." Dylan nodded to her.

His almond eyes met her blue eyes. Both knew it was over. Definitely over.

Kelly took her keys and left the apartment.

Now, Dylan was sober again. He looked at the door. Yes, why had he and Kelly gotten back together? His answer was simple…he thought he would have an easy and carefree life with Kelly. She didn´t want to get married, he didn´t want to get married. Also, Dylan knew that Kelly loved him and would never leave him. With her he didn´t have to worry that Kelly would find someone better. That made her different from Brenda. With Brenda he had always been afraid that she would leave him for something better. Kelly was always there for him. Especially sexually. She helped him forget his problems. And he helped her forget her problems. But they couldn´t help each other with their problems. They both just realized that.

Dylan took a deep breath, went into the bedroom and packed his bag.

Meanwhile, Kelly sat with Donna on the sofa and cried. Donna couldn´t believe it was over between Kelly and Dylan.

„But Dylan loves you."

„No Donna. He doesn´t love me. He said that very clearly."

„And if you talk to him again in peace? You´ve been through so much."

Kelly considerd. Maybe she should talk to Dylan again. She did love him. And she would also be willing not to marry him.

After drying her tears, she drove to the apartment. The lights were off. She unlocked the door and her eyes immediately fell on the kitchen counter. There was Dylan´s key. Under that was a note.

Kelly read.

I wish you the best of luck, Dylan

Kelly screamed and burst into tears. Dylan had actually left her. Apparently he hadn´t wasted much time.

Kelly huddled on the sofa with a blanket and cried. Now, she had no one more. She was completely alone.

So fans, how do you think about the little story? Do you like it or not? Have I descrive the toxic relationship between Dylan and Kelly realistic? Then seriously, I can´t remember they had only one time a normal conversation or similar. Maybe you wanted to give me a few thoughts about…
