Hello everyone. welcome to the new story.

before we begin, keep in mind, i'm going to be deleting the don Luffy storyline, because i've got no motivation on it anymore.

i know some of you liked it. but i need full on motivation, to keep a story alive.

i may be an amateur writer. but i'm still me.

i'll also be making a second Coby story some time.

i'm planning to keep on these two Coby stories starting today, til next Saturday, ok?.

it's a nice sunny day in shells town. the sun is shining. the birds are singing. ax hand Morgan is behind bars. Helmeppo is forced into the marines. shells town is finally at peace again.

[town pub]

ahhh~. man, not eating anything for three weeks, i thought i was gonna eat my boots said Zoro full to the brim. i can't believe your already full. lightweight said Luffy still eating. how in the hell are you not full yet? asked Zoro. i always had a big appetite. but ever since i ate the gum gum fruit, my appetite grew bigger said Luffy still eating.

as Luffy keeps on eating, Zoro asked how big the crew was so far. to his surprise, it was just him and Luffy. Zoro then was disappointed to know they are sailing by boat so far.

as for Coby... he was thinking about his life choices.

(can't believe this happened. to think, there are marines who use their rank and power, for evil. how can i be a marine, when there are types who are wicked? thought Coby).

Coby then looked to Luffy and remembered the good deeds Luffy has done so far. that was when Coby made an decision.

(if Luffy is going to be the type of pirate. who saves lives. then why not i join him on his journey to find the one piece thought Coby).

Luffy came Coby's voice as he walks up to Luffy and starts bowing. i'd like to ask you of something said Coby bowing his head. sure, what's up? asked Luffy still eating.

after witnessing, how great and kind hearted you truly are. after finding out how ax hand Morgan, was using his rank and power for evil. i've decided not to join the marines said Coby still bowing his head.

then what are you going to do? asked Luffy done eating "for now". i've decided to ask for permission to join you Luffy. not as your cabin boy... but as your Quartermaster. i may not be as strong as you and vice captain Zoro so far. but i want to be a strong pirate like you. so strong... that i can protect others who can't protect themselves said Coby still bowing.

the room was silent. no one moved or speak. was this it... was Coby really going through with this?.

it's going to be a little dangerous from time to time. think you can handle a little danger Coby? asked Luffy. aye, captain Luffy sir said Coby to Luffy.

then welcome. to my pirate crew, Coby said Luffy with a smile. Coby was indeed happy to hear it. so happy, that he cried tears of joy.

thanks, Luffy said Coby smiling. we're friends. we stick together. ain't nobody's breaking us apart said Luffy. i'll drink to that said Zoro having a drink.

just like that, the marines showed up. hello,i'm Lieutenant Ripper. i've heart that you are pirates. is this true? asked Ripper.

yep. it's just me, Zoro. and now Coby said Luffy smiling like an idiot. i see. as thanks for saving us from ax hand Morgan. know that we'll not report you lot to HQ. however, your still pirates. so i ask you please leave said Ripper.

ok. lets go guys said Luffy getting up now. Zoro and Coby following.

[at the port]

as the three get onboard the boat, they soon set sail.

so where to now? asked Zoro. easy, to the grand line of course said Luffy smiling happily. not to be rude captain. but we first need a real ship. as well a bigger crew. i believe the best way to survive. is to form a big crew first. got any idea how many captain Luffy? asked Coby.

i'm thinking 10 said Luffy. 10 isn't going to cut it. we need more crew members said Zoro saying down on his back. i agree. we need to form a big enough crew, before heading to the grand line captain Luffy said Coby.

very well. know any who are strong? asked Luffy. not really said Zoro. same here captain, sorry said Coby.

that's ok, we'll just wing it then said Luffy smiling happily. good enough for me said Zoro before taking an nap. i'll take the paddles captain, try to find us an island, ok? asked Coby. ok said Luffy happily looking for an island now.

just like that. their off. what could go wrong?.
