In the halls the following morning, I had been at my locker when Apple and her BFFA Briar Beauty's voices could be heard walking by.

"Come on girl, just tell me what happened last night," said Briar.

"It's nothing," said Apple. Our eyes then met for a second before she turned away. Even though she had tried her best, you could tell that she had been crying all night long and her hair was still slightly disheveled.

"I… I have to get to class," said the blonde before rushing away.

"Great, she hates me even more now," I thought while closing the door.

"Apple!" someone suddenly called out. This caused me to turn in time to see a statue falling toward the blonde princess who was frozen in place out of fear and could only stand there watching it.

"No!" I screamed before teleporting next to her and pushing Apple out of the way.

In doing so I had however been the one pinned by the statue, hitting my head off the floor as it brought me down.

"Dear Godmother," I heard Cerise say from the crowd of people.

"Someone call for a healer!" came another voice as they all started to merge together, making it tough to make out who was talking.

"A… Ap… le," is all I could manage to say while looking at the terrified girl I loved as she stared at me with a terrified expression. From the warm wet sensation I felt on the back of my head, I'm sure that I was bleeding from a wound thanks to the impact.

"What happened here?!" came Headmaster Grimm's voice.

"The statue just fell out of nowhere, Raven pushed Apple out of the way to save her but got pinned herself," said Ashlynn Ella.

"What?!" asked a panicked Headmaster Grimm.

"Ra… Raven," came Apple's voice. With one last glance at Apple, I gave a week smile before everything went pitch black.
