"What… what happened?" I thought while my mind felt like it was clawing its way out of the shadows.

"Ven, Raven," a voice called out while a light appeared before me. Suddenly, my eyes opened and I found myself in a white walled room laying in a bed looking up at the ceiling.

"Oh thank Godmother, you're awake," said Apple who was standing next to me crying while looking down at me.

"Apple, where am I?" I asked.

"You're at the hospital, luckily the healers were able to save your life and healed all your injuries," said Apple.

"You did need a blood transfusion though," she said while looking at the line that led into my right arm.

"Oh yeah, the statue fell on me," I said while it all came back to me.

"Did you get hurt at all?" I asked.

"Wow, here you are laying in a hospital bed after being unconscious for a week and you're worried about me," said Apple with a stunned expression.

"Wait, I've been out for how long?" I asked as it was my turn to be stunned.

"Oh, I meant to tell you that sooner, but you have been out of it for a week now," said Apple.

"And just how long have you been here, Apple?" I asked while looking at a blanket and bag in the corner of the room.

"Since you came in," Apple said with a meek voice.

"I did go out yesterday to get some food and stuff, there's also something I really need to say to you," she said.

"What is it?" I asked.

"I'm sorry," said Apple as she lowered her head to me which completely took me by surprise.

"Wha… what are you sorry for?" I asked.

"For how I treated you and other villain kids," said Apple.

"Some of you really aren't like your parents and comparing you to them was so wrong of me and everyone else to do," she said while looking up at me to meet my eyes.
