Ranma stood stiffly looking at the woman who was always on his mind and heart, the woman who was always there for him during his teenage years and then when he wanted to truly commit, the woman just walked away leaving him alone with a gaping wound in his heart. Even so, he never could hate the woman who was now looking at him in shock.
"Helloo.. Ranma.. Down to earth!"
Sally waved her hand in front of Ranma face breaking me out of his thoughts.
"Ranma, meet Akane.." Sally started to introduce him to her friends "Akane meet Ranma Saotome my fiance.."
As if she could control her emotions, Akane changed her facial expression to a casual one like she had never known someone named Ranma Saotome. Akane stretched out her hand wanting to shake hands with Ranma, she started to introduce herself cheerfully
"Hi! I'm Akane Tendo.."
Ranma feels hurt and sick about the crap that Akane was making but he was following Akane's rules.
"Ranma.." He said briefly shaking Akane's hand.
"Please sit down.." Sally broke the awkwardness "Would you like to order drinks?"
Akane replied quickly "Don't bother, I'm sorry I only have 15 minutes to show you my sketch for your wedding dress because I have to attend a fashion show meeting"
Ranma sat across from Akane and Sally sat in the middle.
"You must be very busy.." Sally responded "Okay Akane, go a head.."
When Akane focused on explaining to Sally about the design of the wedding dress. Ranma could only look at Akane with a sharp gaze. It's been 8 years since Akane broke off her engagement with him, he never knew the reason why Akane broke off the engagement just like that after going through a crazy adventure, cleaning up his other fiancé and Akane's suitor.
The last conversation with Akane when she said "Ranma I'm sorry, I can't marry you.. Let's separate from each other.." She just said that without giving him a reason why they broke up. Since their last conversation Akane disappeared without a trace leaving Ranma with a broken heart.
Now the real Akane sat in front of him with a serious face and explained in detail her design, Ranma could also see Akane's eyes shining with passion it meant Akane really liked her current job eventhough this was beyond his expectations because he didn't expect Akane to be able to design a wedding dress.
Akane and Sally seemed to be immersed in the discussion ignoring Ranma alone but Ranma didn't mind, after all he didn't even understand women's clothing designs, meanwhile he could observe Akane who was currently 28 years old in front of him.
Akane really changed a lot, if Sally didn't mention Akane name, Ranma wouldn't know that woman was standing in front of him was Akane his ex-fiance. When Ranma was a teenager, he has already imagine Akane would grow into a beautiful woman, but Ranma didn't expect Akane was not only has beautiful face, she was also attractive and looked sexy without trying to be sexy eventhough Akane was only wearing formal office clothes. Ranma quickly drank his drink before drooling.
"Wake up Ranmaa!" Sally patted Ranma's shoulder hard to interrupt his reverie again.
"Huh!" He stood up like an idiot making Sally and Akane giggle.
The atmosphere of the restaurant turned noisy, the visitors who were eating in the Restaurant were whispering and amazed to see one of the men who entered the restaurant with a cool and nonchalant style, his gaze looked straight at the table occupied by Ranma, Sally and Akane.
"Is that Misaki Taro, the famous soccer player from Japan?" Sally said in awe "Oh my gosh he's so handsome and I think he looks at me and he walks towards me, Oh my gosh what should I do?" Sally babbling non-stop making Ranma and Akane gawk at her.
Taro Misaki stopped in front of the table and greeted the three "Hi!"
Sally gasped "H-hi! Taro Misaki.. I don't believe you know me, thanks god for giving me beauty!" Said Sally too confidently
Misaki apologized "Sorry, but I don't know you. I came here because I wanted to pick up Akane.."
"So you are Akane's friend.." Sally said disappointed
"Actually, more than friends" Misaki giving Akane a wink
Ranma was angry he clenched his fists with emotion, so this was actually the reason Akane broke up with him because Akane was beeing unfaithful to him.
Akane introduces Sally and Ranma to Misaki "Misaki, this is Sally and Ranma Saotome."
Misaki smiled kindly "Nice to meet you especially you Ranma Saotome the famous actor in martial arts, I watched all your movies"
Ranma rebutted and looked at Misaki sarcastically "Really? Too bad, I didn't have a time to watch your soccer game at all"
Before there was a fierce fight between Ranma and Misaki, Akane grabbed Misaki's arm and then asked him to go "Let's go Misaki, I'll be late" Then Akane took Misaki with her.
Ranma still looked furious when he saw Akane holding Misaki's hand out of the restaurant and getting into Misaki's Ferrari, his stomach felt sick when Misaki opened the car door for Akane with a smile as if he fell in love with Akane. It turns out that Akane not only cheating on him, Akane is also gold digger women.
"Aw Ranma, don't be jealous, you know I only like you" Sally said teasing Ranma.
Ranma glanced at Sally, Sally was indeed a beautiful woman but that wasn't enough to make Ranma's heart flutter and feel comfortable when he was around her. Sally is a woman whose parents arranged for him.
When Ranma saw Akane earlier, his heart was pounding, his chest ached, and his stomach felt like there were butterflies flying. From the past until now there's only one woman who drives him crazy like this, that woman was Akane Tendo.
Actually Ranma was itching to ask about Akane but he didn't want to be obvious in front of Sally.
Ranma opened the conversation "Why did you choose Akane Tendo to make your wedding dress? Why not just buy or rent the wedding dress at a boutique, it's more simple"
Sally rolled her eyes "Don't make me rent a wedding dress, I can't wear second hand people use, it might be allergic to my skin"
"The wedding day is my special day Ranma, I have to be Queen at my own wedding, so I ordered a dress that was specially made for me." Sally answered beaming
"Besides, Akane is quite professional in designing my dress, you should know the name Akane Tendo is well-known as a specialist in designing party dresses and wedding dresses. Her name has even reached the whole world"
In the past Akane was very ambitious and optimistic woman, never half-hearted doing any work, this character of Akane is almost similar to him.
Akane is not a gold digger
His mind reminded him of that. If indeed Akane is a gold digger, she has to date Kuno Tatewaki back then who is the son of a rich merchant. But Akane chose to date him instead and went through the ups and downs together with him. Maybe Akane was just too tired of him so she rejected his proposal and left him for other man.
Sally took out a magazine from her bag "Look at this, the one on the cover of this magazine is Akane Tendo, her clients are even Hollywood artists for Red Carpet events and International top models. No wonder she has many connections and she even knows a famous soccer Misaki Taro"
Sally held Ranma's palm to reassure Ranma "Ranma please, I'm going to marry an International famous martial arts actor, there's no way I can dress the same as ordinary people, I might be laughed by your fans. I want to wear dress made by Akane Tendo so my name can be famous too because I can afford to wear wedding dress by Akane Tendo"
Ranma took the magazine, he looked closely at Akane's face which was on the cover of the magazine. That cover only showing photos of Akane's beautiful and sexy face. Unknowingly, Ranma's thumb moved across Akane's forehead, cheeks and lastly her red lips. Even though he only touching the photo of Akane on the cover of the magazine, his heart missed Akane so much.
"I will think about it first, before that I borrow your magazine to ask my friend's in Hollywood about Akane Tendo."
Sally was happy, she hugged Ranma "Oh I'm so happy.. I love you Ranma Saotome my dear future husband.."
Ranma just smiled.
Arriving at his house after dropping Sally off, Ranma felt restless and couldn't sleep thinking about Akane. He had only searched the internet about Akane Tendo and her interviews, but there was very little info because Akane is the type of person who doesn't publish about her privacy. Akane only wants to be interviewed about her work regarding her fashion designs, no one knows about Akane Tendo's personal and love life.
"Here is Akane Tendo's home address.."
Ranma decided hired a local detective to find out about Akane and It didn't take more than an hour to find out where Akane lived.
