A few months had passed by since the Elite Four. Cedar was at home, still in the world of Pokemon, where he had recently bought a home in Cerulean City. He sat at home, on his couch, watching some TV. With his Nidoking by his side, Cedar received a call. He picked it up, and it had been Blue on the other side.

"Hey, what's Up Cedar? I heard you had a sweet victory against Lance, so I wanted to congratulate you as the new official Indigo League Champion," said Blue

Heh, thanks Blue. I appreciate it, I wouldn't have made it to the top without that day we crossed paths.

"I'm always glad. Hey, I've got something for you, if you're interested, I've got a plane ticket to Sinnoh. I have been talking to Professor Rowan, who would very much like to meet you. He watched your Elite Four battles, and respected your determination to continue after your accident," stated Blue.

Oh? Well, sure, I'd love to visit the Sinnoh region. I'm sure it's full of cool Pokemon, said Cedar with excitement in his voice. Sure, he was a Pokemon buff in the real world and knew of the Pokemon in Sinnoh, but to see it in person had Cedar ecstatic.

"I can hear the excitement in your voice. Tell you what, stop by the Pokemon Lab, and I'll give you the plane ticket. After, you will have to head to Celadon City. There is an airport there."

Without hesitation, Cedar packed up a bag and immediately flew off to the Pokemon Lab, where Blue was waiting.

"Hey Blue, I finally made it," said Cedar

"I'm glad you did. Here is that plane ticket I was talking about. The world of Pokemon awaits you!" Blue exclaimed

Cedar received the ticket, and then immediately made his way to Celadon City, where he boarded a plane. He was highly excited the whole trip, and he could not stop thinking about all the Pokemon and people he would meet on his travels.

Soon, he arrived at Lilypad Town, located southeast of Lake Acuity. He got off, with his luggage, ready to explore the fantastic region that housed so many cool Pokemon. Soon, he was greeted by a man in a coat with a white beard and white hair, with what seemed to be a very no-nonsense look about his face and demeanor.

"You must be the Kanto Champion I hear about from Blue. Cedar, Right?" said the man.

Oh, uh yeah, that's me," answered Cedar.

"I am Professor Rowan, the professor of Sinnoh. I heard you also managed to complete your Pokedex, and even get your hands on a Pokemon not even native to Kanto," said Professor Rowan.

"Oh, yeah. During my adventure, I came across a Pokemon egg while in Diglett's Cave. I took it to Officer Jenny to ask if she could look for the owner, and she asked me to keep it on me and she would call me whenever she located it. She eventually called me and said someone came in for it, but then the owner said for whoever found it to just keep it," informed Cedar.

"It hatched the next day, and it was a Riolu." continued Cedar. And I took care of it since," continued Cedar.

"Well, quite a tale Mr. Cedar. Since you already have a National Pokedex, I do not need to introduce you as I do with new trainers," stated Prof. Rowan.

"But I do have something to ask of you" he continued.

"What is it?" questioned Cedar.

"Would you like to take the Gym Challenge? Others have already completed the Sinnoh Pokedex. You can complete your own personal Pokedex if you want, but that's pretty much optional," said Prof. Rowan

"Hell yeah, I would love to do that!" exclaimed Cedar.

"But I have one question. Am I allowed to use the team I beat the Elite Four and Kanto Champion with?" asked Cedar accompanied by a somewhat worrisome tone.

"Yes, you are allowed," informed Prof. Rowan.

Cedar pumped his fist into the air, shouting with excitement. He could not wait to take on Sinnoh and fill his Pokedex.

"The first Gym is located in Oreburgh Cit-" started Prof. Rowan.

Before he could finish his sentence, Cedar took off with excitement, ready to earn his first Sinnoh Gym badge.
