Premonition In The Night Part 2
Alan made it back to the bedroom that he shared with his brothers right before he got caught.
Alan climbed the ladder up to the bunk he slept in that night.
When Alan had begun to dream again.
With his dream, Alan could see three young children on a small island, Anne was on the other side of the riverbank.
"Help us!" the three children, two girls and one boy cried in unison.
Anne took off her shoes and socks, "Be patient! I'll be right there!" she called.
"Hurry!" the children called.
Anne dove into the freezing cold river water to rescue the children.
Alan saw Anne swimming back to the other side, carrying the two girls on her back to safety.
Through his eyes in the dream, Alan could see Anne collapsing in the water on her way to rescue the young boy.
That was when Alan awoke, again, in a cold sweat.
Whoa! It's that dream again, Alan thought. I'm going to go to the bathroom to wash my face.
Alan went into the bathroom to splash a little cold water onto his face, then he soaped up his hands and washed them in warm water.
