"Execute Order 66..."
"Fives!" Rex called out as he opened fire.
"Run!" Fury screamed as he took refuge behind a corridor to shoot some more Clones.
"Get out of here!" Bucky says as he shoots at the Clones.
"It's all of us. The entire Grand Army of the Republic has been ordered to hunt down and destroy the Jedi Knights." Rex tells them.
Peter Parker suddenly gasped awake, looking around and recalling where he was. He was currently staying at a seedy hotel in the city. He sighed and listened to the shipyard activity going on above the room he was sleeping in. It was a cheap motel that didn't ask any questions, and from the noises surrounding him, he felt he didn't want to question it either.
"Things weren't always like this..."
Peter then got up and grabbed his clothes, knowing that he could not get any more sleep. He made his way out of the building and threw a hood over his head to protect himself from the rain. As he stood in the train station, he waited for his ride to arrive.
"We were sent here after we died..."
When the train arrived, Peter stepped onboard and kept his hood up. He noticed there were a few Stormtroopers on board and didn't want to attract their attention; he tried to act as inconspicuously as possible.
"Thanos won. He killed half of all life in the universe...but we were rescued."
Peter watched as two stormtroopers in the back of the train began harassing someone for no apparent reason. Clenching his fist, he wished that he could fight and defend the individual, but he knew he couldn't do anything. If he intervened, he would give away his location, and he was surrounded by Imperial troops everywhere.
"We fought to protect the galaxy, but in the end, our efforts were futile. The Empire emerged victorious from the ashes of what we had attempted to destroy."
Peter then waited for his stop on the train and realized that security on this planet was becoming too much for him. He would eventually be spotted, or his impulsive behavior would lead to his downfall. It was time to move to another planet.
"Now...there are only a handful of Avengers left. I don't even know if there are others. I'm the only survivor of the transport."
Peter started making his way down the street and saw the dozens of homeless families left on the streets. They had been forced from their homes by the Empire. The Empire wanted their land for some reason or another, and they branded these people as traitors, sending them to prison or leaving them homeless.
"There are three rules for surviving in this new galaxy."
Peter walked over to a Twi'lek family of three and dropped some newly acquired Imperial credits into their cup. He saw the look of relief on their faces, and their child smiled at him. Peter offered a small smile in return. Then, he got back up and adjusted his hood to try and keep his face out of sight.
"Don't stand out."
However, as Peter walked through the rain, he suddenly stopped when his senses alerted him to danger. When he looked around to investigate the source of his heightened awareness, he saw several men harassing a couple on the street.
"Accept the universe as it is."
Peter was indeed just about to walk away and ignore it, something that he had grown accustomed to doing since Order 66. But after four years, something deep within him had finally reached its breaking point; he could no longer stand by and watch as the criminal element ran rampant due to the Empire's incompetence.
Peter then realized that he needed to do something. He walked his way towards the group of people harassing the helpless victims. When he reached the man's back, he raised his hand and touched him. The man he grabbed was confused, but before he could comprehend what had happened, he felt his entire nervous system shut down. And as soon as he fell, Peter was still standing with his palm glowing a bright yellow.
"Trust no one."
Peter then raised his head high enough for his eyes to be visible, revealing the anger in them aimed at the attackers. Shocked, the couple realized that this man with electricity flowing through his eyes had just saved their lives. Since he needed to leave the planet anyway, he might as well do it while saving others.
"My name is Peter Parker, and I am the last surviving Avenger."
Meanwhile, disconnected from the universe, there was something more sinister happening. He is a tall slim man wearing a helmet with a strange collar and a helmet to match. He wore a suit that was mostly green cloth, with purple armor on top of it. It had an almost Pharaoh look to it, and he wore a purple helmet with a blue holographic projection to protect his face. He sat on a futuristic-looking chair that almost looked like a circular normal seat.
"I don't understand." He muttered as he stared into the time stream. "How is this boy a threat to history?"
Someone came floating into the room and was revealed to be a light-skinned human head that was ginormous in comparison to the other man. He has a yellow armored hoverchair with orange, brown, and black details, a booster to control his levitation; a purple headband with a red area for his mind attacks; and purple spots with dark purple details to fit his limbs.
"Well, not to history per-say. Just to your history." MODOK explains to him. "He and the rest of them."
Then with a wave of his hand, the Pharaoh-dressed man looked over dozens of timelines where the Avengers were dusted and ended up in different timelines. All of them however just happened to be a part of the galaxy far, far away.
A timeline where after Order 66, Peter and Ahsoka went into hiding together and things got intimate between the two of them. They stayed in hiding to protect the family that they created in the fall of the Republic.
A timeline where after Order 66, Peter met up with Kate Bishop and Rex, and they formed a crew known as the Protectors of the Nebula. They created a small group of heroes from the likes of a Mandalorian, and a Jedi Youngling that Kate Bishop managed to save.
A timeline where Order 66 never occurred, and the Avengers managed to save the galaxy after Fives revealed the inhibitor chips to them all. Luke Skywalker was never going to be born, but the Sith and Clone Wars still ended in their favor. Peter Parker and Padme Amidala fell in love far into the adventure. Peter landed on Naboo when the invasion first began and rescued Padme thinking she was just a servant girl. But ironically, they still managed to have twins at the end of the Clone Wars.
A timeline that is still in development, with the Avengers trying to overthrow the Empire with a small group of rebels.
A timeline where the Avengers landed in the Old Republic, and they changed everything from the far beginning. No Palpatine, no Death Stars, and in this world, Peter Parker met and fell in love with Bastila Shan. Even having a child together, changed the course of history and gave birth to the legend of the Avengers many, many years from now.
"These worlds are becoming stronger." He muttered in slight fear. "If these worlds continue to grow, they could pose a threat to my empire. And my existence in general."
"Don't worry, we'll stop them." MODOK promises. "Where do we start?"
"Let's see how this world grows." He stated as he looked out the window and saw his entire futuristic empire. "We will start here and move on to the other timelines. We need to snuff out this flame before it catches a spark."
"That's why you are the Conquer." MODOK complimented.
Kang the Conquer stared out the window and looked back at all of these timelines. He needed to kill them before their influence could keep spreading across all of realities. All of these worlds are becoming too powerful for him to leave alone. He needed to begin to conquer their timelines and kill them before they could get to him. He needed to come to them.
