it's a nice sunny day in the east blue. the sun is shining. the birds are singing. everything is at peace.
on a island called dawn island, there lives a young boy, who will change the world someday.
his name...
monkey D Luffy.
as young 4 year old Luffy walks around the forest, he is talking to himself.
dumb old grandpa, saying i should be a marine. i don't want that. i wish o be free and go on amazing adventures said Luffy.
as Luffy keeps on walking around, he soon spots a chest on the ground. Luffy opens the chest, to find a strange looking fruit and a book inside.
not knowing what to do with the fruit so far, Luffy decides to read the book to see if it talks about said fruit.
to his surprise, it does. the said fruit, is called a devil fruit, named the ice ice fruit, a Logia type devil fruit that lets the user have the power to create, control, and turn into ice.
the only weakness to this fruit. is the ocean, sea stone, and heat. other then that, and the user has the power to freeze anything and or anyone soled.
after reading the book, Luffy's eyes turned into stars.
cool. with this devil fruit. i can be a strong person. with this devil fruit. i can be free said Luffy with a smile.
just like that. Luffy ate the devil fruit. it may have tasted bad, but it was worth it.
Luffy felt a little cold, but it quickly faded away. Luffy felt great. he felt awesome. he felt... powerful.
unknown to Luffy, a gray wolf was close by. the wolf was slowly getting closer and closer to Luffy. getting ready to attack and eat Luffy alive.
just like that Luffy somehow since a hungry presions close by. Luffy then saw the gray wolf close by.
seeing this, the wolf ran and jumped into the air to attack Luffy. Luffy seeing this, quickly swung his arms in the air hoping for something to work...
to his surprise, it did. just as the gray wolf jumped in the air. Luffy quickly turned the wolf, into a frozen wolf.
just like that the frozen wolf feel to the ground and broke into pieces from the impact.
after seeing his handy work. Luffy became even more excited.
just like that, Luffy ran back to town to tell people about it.
[3 years later]
after what happened in the forest 3 years ago, Luffy became the talk of the town. getting asked to make the roads icy for the younglings to slide on from time to time. to help keep food frozen longer.
at Makino's bar Luffy was hanging out with some friendly pirates known as the red haired pirates. Luffy is seated next to his good friend and sparing partner, "red hair" Shanks, the captain of the pirate crew.
you sure know how to be a great sparing partner Luffy. ya almost had me with your ice time there said Shanks with a happy smile.
just you wait Shanks, i'll get ya some day said Luffy with a happy smile as well.
the crew were having fun, drinking and dancing around like wild people that they are...
until, *BAM*!.
the bar door broke off. showing some unfriendly people.
where is he?! roared a tall man. who's he? whispered one of the pirates. bandits whispered Luffy getting up off his seat. he then started walking to the bandit leader.
hello said Luffy keeping calm. your the one i'm looking for? asked the bandit leader confused.
seems like it said Luffy calmly. is this him? asked the bandit leader to one of the bandits. yes sir, that's right said one of the bandits.
so your responsible for the arrest of my good buddy Jolu? asked the bandit leader in raged.
your so called friend, threatened to burn down Makino's bar, as well do bad things to her. i couldn't allow it said Luffy calmly.
so you. just arrested him for that?! asked the bandit leader getting madder.
well that, and he had a bounty on his head. 10,000,000 barrie's last i checked, right everyone? asked Luffy to the crew. the crew nodded.
did you know. what you've done?! yelled the bandit leader. of course, i beat a bandit named Jolu "the hammer". with a bounty of 10,000,000 barrie's said Luffy.
and. do you know who i am. boy? asked the bandit leader with a lot of anger.
of course. your Higuma "the bear", with a bounty of 8,000,000 barrie's said Luffy.
then you know. what comes next said Higuma with a murderess ara.
Luffy grins before saying the words. take your shot with no fear being shown on his face.
just like that Higuma did what he's good at. he raised his cutlass... and cut off Luffy's head cleanly.
Higuma grinned at his work. silence was everywhere in the bar...
until the pirate crew slowly stomped their feet in the ground. this confused the bandits. what are you lot doing? asked Higuma. the crew's stomping got a little fast. why are you all stomping your feet? asked Higuma feeling uneasy right now. the stomping got louder.
what's the meaning of this?! yelled Higuma starting to feel fear. you got skill with a cutlass, i'll give you that. but you got and make a big mistake said Shanks taking a little sip from his drink.
what mistake?... what are you talking about?! yelled Higuma. just like that, Luffy's headless body was slowly regrowing his head back.
what the hell are you? asked Higuma scared to high heavens. i'm monkey D Luffy. but, you can call me the one who ended your criminal life easily said Luffy with a smile.
just like that Luffy grabbed hold of Higuma's left leg.
[ice time] said Luffy using his ice powers on Higuma.
just like that Higuma's left leg started to turn into ice. as the rest of his body slowly got frozen. Higuma screamed in terror.
with Higuma now a human popsicle. the bandits, not knowing what to do. ran as fast as they could.
so Luffy. what are you going to do now? asked Shanks as he walks up to Luffy. i'm going to get the reword for his bounty of course said Luffy.
seems fair i guess. so what will you be doing with 18,000,000 barrie's anyways? asked Shanks. i've been thinking about my life and what to do with it said Luffy.
and what's that? asked Shanks.
i'm going to be an adventurer. but not just that. but i think i'll be picking up treasure hunting and bounty hunting along the way said Luffy.
good choice kid. so what types of treasures will you be finding? asked Shanks.
i don't know yet. but i bet. it'll be fun said Luffy.
any idea where to start? asked Shanks.
i guess, for fun. i'll good looking for the one piece said Luffy.
the one piece?. but thats for pirates to hunt for. not adventurers and or treasure hunters said Shanks.
true. but then again. the world is changing said Luffy with a smile.
that it is Luffy. that it is said Shanks.
i may not want to be king of the pirates. but i'm still going after it someday. mark my wards Shanks, i'm going to be the best adventurer in the world said Luffy.
i'll drink to that said Shanks.
just like that, the crew along with Shanks and Luffy partied until sunset.
Luffy took still frozen Higuma to the royal guards to get paid.
just like that, Luffy now has 18,000,000 barrie's
