A/N: The characters belong to J.K. Rowling.

I had this idea before I came across and read Slytherin Toddlers By Lottielue1. I took the same potions accident and room idea, the rest is mine. So, credits to Lottielue1 for her writing to inspire mine and to J.K. Rowling for the characters.

Toddling Around

Hermione Granger and Ginny Weasley were running late. They had stayed up late last night finishing a potions essay, to the best of Hermione's ability, Ginny just gave ideas form her bed. They slept in that morning missing breakfast and almost period one. So, now they were running down the last set of stairs to the dungeons, with their hair flying behind them.

Ginny like all Weasleys loved food. So, her missing breakfast put her in a foul mood. Hermione, on the other hand, was panicking. She did not like being late at all. So, she was downright stressed. They ran round the corner, stopping, thankfully at the end of the line, outside Snape's room. They had made it just in time.

Snape moved silently out the doorway and stood in front of the 5th, 6th, and 7th year Gryffindors, (weird timetable, one class a week they had all together and nobody knew why), The entire group instantly feel silent.

"Essays on my desk, then partnered up and begin working on the anti-aging potions" Snape said in his long down out way.

The teens swam into the room placing the essays on his desk. They then paired up and began their work in utter silence. The was the occasional whisper but other than that it was silent.

Hermione liked it that way she could think and destress about the morning she just had. However, she was think to much and missed the fact that she grabbed the wrong jar of beetles, on top of that, in Ginny's huff about not getting breakfast, she had put green roaster feathers instead of yellow. So, as soon as Hermione tipped the beetles into the potion, it exploded in a cloud of green foam.

Snape ushered the teens out of the room.

"Is everyone here" he said, drawling on his words once more.

The teens look around the hallway at their friends. They all look back at Snape and nodded. Snape turned around and went to clean up the room from the potion.

"Wait", said Harry with sudden realisation, "Ginny's no here".

"Nor is Hermione" exclaimed Fred looking over his peers form his height.

They all look at Snape pure concern plastered on there faces. He waited a second before turning around and opening the door. He cast a quick charm on the room, and it was clean once again.

He turned back to his students

"Fred, George, Ron your sister is in there and Harry Hermione is basically your sister, So you four and you four only will enter the room. Others classed dismissed." He said levitating their now clean books to each student.

The mass of students moved off to Gryffindor common room.

The four boys and Snape enter the classroom. They began to look around for the girls.

"Anything" asked George.

"Nothing" replied Ron.

"Ssh", said Harry.

"Why," replied the boys.

"Look" said Harry with a stern look on his face.

The three Weasleys and Snape walk towards Harry who was standing by Snape desk. Harry moves out of the way for them to see. There, under the desk, was two sleeping toddlers. One had long, fiery red hair, that fell below her shoulder blades and many freckles about her pale, arms, and face. The other, had short, wavy brown hair that fell to her shoulders. She had pale tanner skin than the red haired, but she had very few freckles.

"Toddlers, Ginny and Hermione, are toddlers" said George and Ron together forgetting to whisper.

Their voices had woken the brown-haired toddler. She began to cry. George reached forward and picked her up, hitting her head on the desk. She began balling her eyes out.

"oh, I'm so sorry" said George trying to calm the toddler down. It was no use, she kept crying.

"Give her here," said Fred, taking the crying girl in his arms. Rocking the small toddler in his arms, he was always the better twin to go to when it came to younger children. Fred watch as Hemione calmed down immediately at the rocks. After she was calm, he place her on his hip. With her snuggling into him, he turned to George. "George, do you still remember how we had to wake Ginny, when she was little, I forgot."

"Not really" said George, "Ron?"

"Nope"

"Well, were stuck, Ginny can sleep through almost anything" explained Fred.

"Would it be the same way Hermione wakes her up now?" asked Harry.

"Maybe" said Ron exitedly, "Maybe, Harry"

So, Harry bent down and kissed Ginny's nose. Blushing slightly at the action, thankful for his back being turned. He stood up.

The little girl opened her eye's and sat up rubbing them.

"Freddie?" She asked.

"Yes, Ginny"

"Hi"

"Hi, Ginny"

She looked around the room.

"Who's that Freddie," she asked pointing to Harry.

"That's Harry Potter, he's Ron's best friend".

"Oh" said Ginny, standing up. She walked over to Fred and asked to be lifted. He picked her up with his free arm. Both girls snuggled into Fred.

Through the whole commotion Snape had called for Dumbledore. The old man entered through the fireplace, startling the boys and the toddlers.

"Father Christmas?" asked Hermione from Fred's arms.

"I am not Father Christmas, Miss Granger" said Dumbledore, "I am, However, here to help"

"Help with what" Ginny asked.

"You and your friend, Miss Weasley"

"So," said Fred, "how is this gonna work?"

"You four" began Dumbledore, " are going to miss the next week or so of school" There was a little whoop from Ron. "While you babysit these two." Ron groaned at this. "You will have your own private quarters and the house elves will help with clothes and housework, will you follow me, please"

They walk up the long winding steps of the castles. Ginny began to squirm in Fred's arm.

"Ginny, What do you what to go down and walk." asked Fred

She shook her head.

"Do you want to stay up here"

She shook her head again.

"What do you want then, Ginny?"

"Piggyback" she said simply.

"Can't really do that now Ginny"

"But Freddie" she pleaded.

"No Ginny, I can't carry you on my back and Hermione at the same."

"Come here you," said Harry as he took the still squirming toddler of Fred and placed her on his back.

"Yay" exclaimed Ginny.

They continued up the stairs, until they were looking at a great big painting of Scotland's fine countryside, scatted around where a couple dozen sheep.

"This is an unused teacher's quarter, it has everything you could need, for the week" stated Dumbledore, "you just have to set the password and it is you new home".

"What should we have the password as?" asked Harry.

"Daisy chains," said Hermione.

"Pondweed?" suggested George

"Brooms" said Ginny.

"I think it should be 'food'" stated Ron.

"Maybe it should be something we are doing, like 'babysitting' or watching."

said Harry.

"I like that idea", said Fred "but I think it should be 'Toddling Around'".

With that the party agreed on Fred's password and it was set. Dumbledore bid them good morning and left them to their own devices.

To which would mean a lot of Toddling Around.
