14:43

A red triumph goes down the road. Driven by Dave who had just finished his shift and was driving Four chipmunks home. He was silent and only averted his gaze from the road a few times to glance at the rear view mirror to see his passengers

Brittany and Jeanette held each other for comfort, Simon sat next to his brother trying to think of a Solution to the current problem. Theodore had his head against the window watching everything pass him by with sad eyes.

Everyone had one thing on their

minds: Eleanor. No one had a clear picture of what had been happening but were determined to change that as soon they got home.

At long last they made it home. Dave pulled up to his driveway and activated the garage door and pulled inside. He let everyone out and into the house. They all looked around but saw no one "Eleanor? Where are you?" Brittany asked but was met with silence

"Elly? We need to talk to you!" Jeanette yelled but still nothing

Dave looked around

"Hmm maybe she's in her room, Jeanette why don't you go up and check. And where's Alvin?"

"Probably in his room." Simon Answered as Jeanette went upstairs "I'll see if he's up there." And Simon went upstairs as well

Brittany walked around the house just thinking about what to do about Eleanor. She entered the living room and noticed Alvin still sleeping on top of the couch.

"Found him!" She yelled to the others, Dave yelled back in acknowledgement. None of this was enough to wake up the red clad chipmunk "He's still Asleep? He's gonna ruin his sleep schedule. I'd better wake him up." She thought

She jumped up to him and observed him sleeping. He lightly breathed with his head resting in his right paw. He looked so peaceful, so cute… that Brittany almost didn't want to wake him up. Almost…

She began tugging at him, he grumbled but stayed in dreamland. She shook him a little harder, getting a few words out him

"No… no porridge…" confused, Brittany pulled away.

"Porridge? He must be having a dream. Doesn't Matter, still have to wake him up."

"Wake up Alvin." She asked politely but he stayed asleep "Wake up!" She said a little louder. This got him to move a little but still not enough. She started to get irritated

"This should wake him up" Brittany got really close to Alvin's face "WAKE UP!"

Alvin's eyes sprung open and his head shot up right into Brittany's, accidentally Headbutting her. They both held their foreheads and fell back, Brittany fell down to the couch cushions while Alvin fell behind the couch. "Oohh that was a bad idea…" Brittany said to herself on the couch still holding her forehead

Meanwhile behind the couch Alvin held his forehead with his eyes shut tight. "What the–" He opened his eyes and looked up to the top of the couch "was that you Brittany?!"

Brittany jumped back up to the top of the couch and looked down at Alvin "Sorry Alvin! I didn't think that would happen!" She saw his paw still on his head "Are you Alright?"

Alvin got a surprised look on his face

"Am I Alright? What about you? I just headbutted you!" He got out from behind the couch and Brittany jumped down

"I'm fine Alvin. We have other things to worry about. Dave said you probably know already."

Alvin Frowned after being reminded about Eleanor's troubles "Yeah… we do need to talk about that."

"Come with me to the kitchen. There we'll all talk." Alvin nodded and they went into the kitchen where Simon, Theodore and Dave were waiting on the dining table. Alvin and Brittany both sat down. Dave looked at Alvin who now had head resting on his fist

"Hello Alvin. How are you feeling?"

"Just swell Dave." Dave got an unsatisfied look on his face

"Well I hope you were able to cheer up Eleanor."

"Wait, You talked with Eleanor?" Brittany asked confused

Alvin looked at her with tired eyes "Yeah she seemed pretty sad, And Dave asked me to. She also tol–'' Before he could finish He noticed Jeanette coming downstairs with Eleanor in tow.

"Found her, she was sulking under her covers." Eleanor had her head down and didn't say anything

Dave looked happy to see Eleanor and extended his hand to an empty space at the table "Jeanette, thanks for finding Eleanor, Why don't you two take a seat?"

Jeanette quickly jumped to the table while Eleanor slowly walked to her's with everyone's eyes on her

When Eleanor took her seat no one said a word, they didn't know what to say. After what felt like an eternity, Brittany broke the Ice. "Eleanor?"

Eleanor looked up and saw her friends, her family all looking at her expecting an answer. Realizing she had nowhere no way out of this, she spoke.

"(Sigh) Okay, fine. You guys really want to know what's been going on so bad?" They all silently nodded, the disheartened look on Eleanor's face suggested she was hoping for a different answer. She looked around for a bit and pointed to her left where Alvin sat

"You tell them Alvin! I'm too nervous." Everyone's gaze turned to a shocked Alvin.

"What Me?! Why me?!"

"Because you know! And you're better at stuff like this!" Brittany looked at Alvin and raised an eyebrow

"Wha– no I'm not! I'm terrible at this!"

"He's right Eleanor, This is your burden. and Alvin cannot lift it, You have to." Dave intervened

Eleanor looked down at her paws and saw tears falling on them. "I'm being bullied okay!" Simon wasn't surprised as he already had a rough idea what was happening. He looked around the table and saw everyone had a similar reaction, Everyone except for Theodore…

Simon was surprised to see Theodore looking a little angry. "Calm down Theo, We have to act rational here." Simon whispered to his brother. Calming him enough to listen.

"Now, Eleanor, who's been bullying you And for how long?"

"Some kids from school, i-it's been happening for a couple months." Eleanor answered with a sad tone

"I see, why have you kept this hidden for so long?"

"They threatened me. Just please make sure they can't do anything to me! They're gonna be really mad if they find out I told someone."

"Don't worry, I'll sort everything out tomorrow at school and have them punished."

"What!? No! They kill me!"

"I won't allow anything like that to happen. Leave it to me. If one of my Chipettes is being messed with it's my duty to put a stop to it."

"But–"

"Enough, this meeting is over. You don't need to worry about this anymore." Dave then got up and left the house to resume working on his car. The other chipmunks looked at each other for a moment and got down from the table and went on with their day, Eleanor went for her room and Brittany followed.

Eleanor got up to the hallway and nearly entered the room before Brittany stopped her. "Elly, wait!" Eleanor turned around slightly annoyed as she just wanted to be done with the day and go back to sulking in bed

"(Sigh) What is it Brittany?"

"Well uh… it's about Alvin."

"Oh, what about him?"

"Well earlier you said that he knew what had been happening, does that mean he was aware of it all this time and didn't tell us?" Eleanor realized she had made a mistake trying to get Alvin to explain her burden and became worried

"Oh no no no! You see um… earlier today when I was sent home, Alvin went out of his way to cheer me up and I was able to confide in him about what happened. I think Dave might have asked him to." Brittany instantly felt bad for accusing Alvin without a second thought.

"Really? Alvin did that? I guess I was wrong about him. I'd better go thank him…"

"You do that Britt." Eleanor said Unenthusiastically and went inside her room While Brittany descended the stairs. Brittany looked around and found Alvin in the living room, sitting on the windowsill, fast asleep.

"Ugh does he not value a good sleep schedule?" She jumped up and shook him a little. This time he woke up with ease.

"Uh gimme a break I just st– oh hi Brittany whats up?"

"Why are you sleeping again?! Your ruining your sleep schedule!"

"Chill out, Britt. I was just resting my eyes."

"Whatever you say Alvin…"

"Oh and uh… sorry for Headbutting you."

"It's alright. I'm fine, really. So stop worrying about it."

"Okay, good to hear. Anything else you wanna tell me?"

"(Sigh) I actually wanted to thank you." Alvin became confused as gratitude wasn't something he often got from Brittany.

"You're… gonna thank m-me? I must have really hit her head."

"Yes I am, I just wanted to thank you for cheering up Eleanor, She was a complete mess and really needed it."

"Oh that? It was nothing, I saw that she was down so I helped her up."

"Well thanks. By the way, is that fever gone yet?"

"My fever? I don't think it's gone yet…" Brittany looked slightly disappointed but Alvin wrote it off as Her still thinking about Eleanor

"Oh… okay… well, I better go then. And try to stay awake alright?"

"C'mon, you know me! I always stay awake."

"Right. I'm gonna ask Eleanor some more questions." Alvin nodded and jumped on the couch and began watching TV while Brittany went upstairs.

Meanwhile…

21:34

Across the city, at an underpass converted into a skatepark. Even though It was a place for Skaters, Four Motorcycles were parked there. The Bikes belonged to a group of boys wearing matching Bomber jackets sitting by a Pillar and makeshift campfire.

The first was Seventeen year old Kayce River. The newest and nicest member of the Bobcats sat on a guardrail with a Corona in his hand. "Don't kid yourself bro, She's done with you."

Sitting on a metal barrel was the Addressed, Seventeen year old Raymond Montgomery. The Second and most Reckless member of the Bobcats. "Can it Kayce you don't know a thing about her. She's crazy for me, I know it!"

"Crazy for you? She nearly told on us after she found out we mighta had something to do with that thing."

Sitting in front of the fire was Sixteen year old Mason Kern. The Youngest member of the Bobcats and previous member's cousin. "Guess that perfume didn't cut it huh?" Ray jumps up and pulls switchblade on Mason

"Say that again! See what happens!"

"That's Enough." Ray and Mason looked at someone who had just finished Ascending the stairs. Eighteen year old Vance Mckowskie, the senior most member and leader of the Bobcats. "I go to get a drink for a minute and I come back to you two about to kill each other?" He looks over at Kayce who shrugged his shoulders

"Don't look at me man, Ray's the crazy one." Causing the accused to shoot Kayce a scowl before stepping away from his cousin

"Sorry Vance, I was just teaching Mason to keep his mouth shut." Vance walked over to an empty lawn chair and took a seat.

"Don't be so hard on your cousin Ray. If we can't stay united how the hell are we gonna take on a couple of rodents?" Ray didn't reply and instead returned to sitting on his barrel "Alright. As you all know we have a problem. Our plan to get the other chipmunks in our grasp didn't go very well. And they are now likely suspicious of us being involved in what happened a few months back."

"It's because of Officer beck! He's always ruining things for us!" Mason said angrily

"He did arrive a little fast. Ya think Someone told the doctor?" Kayce inquired

"Of course someone talked! Becks usually on our case but never like that!" Ray answered adamantly

"None of that matters right now. We have to hurry and get those chipmunks under control before they rat on us." Vance said after taking a sip of whiskey

"And how do you suggest we do that?" Asked Kayce

"I've got a plan, don't worry one bit Kayce. Tomorrow we'll have those Munks yet…" Answered Vance. Ten Minutes later they left the underpass and rode off on their bikes, Prepared to do the unspeakable…
