The group was confused. "So we're not done here yet, are we?" Jessica asked.
"Sadly not." the Doctor answered, "The TARDIS has locked itself. Something's wrong here, and we need to find it." The Doctor turned to Magnus. "Deca reunion?"
Magnus nodded. "Deca reunion." He replied with a smile.
The group got back to the cockpit to put the pendant back in the box for security reasons. "Nobody will steal the pendant from this box." One of the Cybermen proclaimed after putting the pendant back in the box before locking it, "The security is impossible to breach."
"Good that you did that." the Doctor replied, "The last time someone took the Cyberium, he ended up turning Gallifrey into an Orphan planet."
"Such devastation contained in that necklace." Khaldun remarked, "How does it work?"
"The Cyberium finds a host once it's released, and once they have it, all Cybermen obey them."
"Then the Cyberium must be protected at all cost." One Cyberman said, "We must remain garrisoned here until the threat is removed."
"Alright then. Jessica, Khaldun, Magnus, come with me."
"Not to offend you, but this Magnus person seems a bit intense and scary."
"Good thing I like your writing, Ibn Khaldun."
The Doctor, Jessica, Khaldun, and Magnus all left the control room, leaving five Cybermen to garrison the box containing the pendant. As soon as the doors closed, one of the Cybermen broke formation and opened the box. "One of our own is defying orders." a Cyberman said, "Escort them to a cell." Before they could, however, the one that defied orders managed to kill three other Cybermen while leaving the last remaining one nearly destroyed. The Rogue Cyberman opened the pendant and released the Cyberium. "The Cyberium... is not yours... to take..." the dying Cyberman said.
"On the contrary." The rogue Cyberman said before blasting the head off the other Cyberman, "I'm more than well-equipped for this." The rogue Cyberman took off the helmet, revealing the face of a heavily bearded man whose skin resembled today from the Indian subcontinent before the Cyberium got into him, giving him a familiar feeling of power. "After all, I am a Master at this."
Meanwhile, the group that left the control room were still patrolling the hallways when the doors to the cells began to open. "What the hell?" Jessica said.
The Doctor had a sinking feeling. "You remember when I mentioned that having the Cyberium inside you made all Cybermen obey you?" she asked.
"Yes."
"This ship is made out of the same machinery used to make the Cybermen in the first place."
"You don't think that..."
"I do, and the prisoners are now free." The majority of escaping prisoners were malfunctioning Cybermen and frightened people wanting to escape. "Magnus, get the fleeing people to my TARDIS. It's in the cargo hold."
"On it." Magnus said before beginning toget escapees to the cargo hold. This left the Doctor, Jessica, and Khaldun to face the malfunctioning Cybermen that were shambling out of the cells and looking at the trio.
"We need to get back into that room." Khaldun said.
"I'll try something." the Doctor replied before whipping out her sonic screwdriver and using it on the cockpit doors, only for the doors to jam once they tried to open. "Whoever has control of the Cyberium really doesn't want to have anyone take it from them."
"Well, if these things want to fight..." Ibn Khaldun put his hand into his robe and pulled out his scimitar. "...then we fight back."
"Oh. You brought your sword with you."
"Had it all this time. I live in a society of warriors that faces invasions regularly and I feel like I have not done much since disarming a bomb."
"Doctor," Jessica asked, "I know you don't kill, but-"
"Yes. You can kill them. They're zombies suffering under the control of some sort of maniac. Jessica, catch." The Doctor threw her screwdriver at Jessica, which was caught. "You and Khaldun will drive off the horde. I'll try to open the door. You just need to point the screwdriver at the horde and push the button."
While the Doctor was trying to open the door amidst Jessica and Khaldun fighting the horde of broken Cybermen, the Master was making preparations. "Now," he said to himself, "let's find the switch."
However, while he was looking for the switch, he lost focus on keeping the doors from fully opening, so the Doctor brute-forced the doors open. She recognised the hair and the voice she heard whilst opening the door. "I knew it would be you, Master." she said.
"You know," the Master replied, "I prefer those blue eyes to the brown ones you had when I last saw you. Love the accent too."
"Let go of that Cyberium."
"Why? You're not armed, unless you're planning on whacking me with that bag of yours, your screwdriver's out there being used, and there are Cybermen on this ship that are coming here under my will to get rid of you."
"The last two are true. As for the first one..." The Doctor got her hand into her satchel and got out a microchip. "...I'm not so sure."
"Well, never seen a microchip being used as a weapon before. You must be really desperate."
"Oh, I'm not using it as a weapon. What I'm holding in my hand is an artificial intelligence, just like in the Cyberium. Here's the thing: he is a strong-willed psychopath who wants to coat the universe in candy. The other thing with this microchip is that I only need to stick it on this ship and at best the ship is no longer under your control. So you will get rid of the Cyberium in your body, or I practically force it out. Which is it to be?"
The Master saw a switch just below the podium where the box was on. "Hmm... Eenie meenie miney neither." The Master flipped the switch and the ship began to rumble. On the outside, the ship stopped moving forward. Instead it began to change form, turning from a spaceship to a giant Cyberman with wings. Back in the cockpit, the rumbling made the Doctor fall to the floor. The Master was walking towards the Doctor with a great egotistical swagger. "This is what everything has been leading to, Doctor." he said.
"So this isn't just a prison ship, then?" the Doctor replied.
"No, this is one I designed myself with the Cybermen making a couple of changes. This isn't merely a prison ship, this is a Cyberking!"
