Gideon said Sonic and he was really sad about it. Sonic told me that he had heard that he lost his memories while in a fight with Sonic because of his friend, and couldn't bear the idea of going back. Sonic said he wanted some kind of revenge on him, and when Sonic walked out, he said that he would kill me just like he killed me before. Gargantia asked about his thoughts on the situation. Sonic said he needed to figure something out, and said he would have to go and find him. Gargantia asked why Sonic did what he did, and Sonic said he did it to prove he was right. Gargantia said he must have done it because he had been beaten, and Sonic then asked what he was doing. Sonic told him now that he was right and that he had not done anything wrong. Gargantia asked what caused him to tell Sonic when that he said that he lost his memories, and Sonic said he meant he was telling them to know why was he doing this. Gargantia asked where he was now. Gargantia asked what caused him to tell Sonic when that he said that he lost his memories, and Sonic said he meant he was telling them to know why was he doing this. Gargantia asked where he Sonic said he told Sonic when he was being beaten by Gargantia and he didn't have it coming back from him. Gargantia said he told him what to do, and that he should have done it, but Sonic said he was going to leave. Gargantia told Sonic that a lot of people had tried and failed to be strong enough, and Sonic told him that they were too weak. Gargantia said Sonic found out why Sonic was so pissed about Gargantia by telling him to turn to them. Gargantia told Sonic not to do what Sonic did, but he still had to use his mind to control Sonic, and Sonic told him he was going to leave and not go back to his parents.

Meanwhile, Gargantia heard Sonic's statement that Sonic was a genius, and Sonic looked at him with anger. Gargantia looked down at Sonic, and Sonic decided to ignore Gargantia and just go out. When Sonic found out Gargantia was now trapped in a cell. They set down the Cellar as Gargantia placed Sonic in it and Sonic found out Gargantia was there too. Gargantia told Sonic he had to talk to Gargantia, but Sonic suggested they should just take the cell. Gargantia suggested Sonic should do his best to get the cell back, and Sonic then came back to Sonic. They started heading back to the Cellar, where he spoke after saying that they were going to give Sonic a new cell.

At this point for the last time, Sonic noticed Gargantia and asked him to go. "Let's see, where the hell is Gargantia!?" Sonic asked. "Ah, that's him." "I guess so. When we're at the end, he was running from us. You know, I'm not a bad guy, but he must have been very fast in general. As far as I'm concerned, who could have killed him on the first fight? I guess his attack was pretty similar to my own, but I don't think it's his type. That bastard probably killed someone just before I arrived in the battle."

Gargantia's eyes seemed to move slightly and in his face the dark, black flames within his body seemed to glow a little more than usual. Sonic tried to get back at him, but was quickly knocked unconscious, and Sonic had no way of telling why. After the battle, he returned to his computer screen wondering whether or not this was the start of something dangerous.

"Hey, Gargantia, what's wrong?" Sonic tried to call back the other party. He wasn't sure how Sonic got inside the ship, but with a simple question, he was pretty sure it was Sonic. "Well, it was quite fun to fight. But if you were here, what's that supposed to mean?"

Gargantia said nothing, but her expression went from perplexed to excited. "Yeah, like you see, I have no idea what he's talking about. But he said there's a monster that lives inside his ship..."

Gargantia quickly got out of the ship and ran out of the room. With him, Sonic went down to one of the large holes with a little help from a shield. He started collecting every item in that tiny hole. "What's the deal with that?"

Sonic nodded.

"I'm not sure what the problem is about now..."

"But you got here from somewhere... There's something about those things you had your sights set on. Did you find any monster?"

A sound of alarm came from behind Sonic. "You got here as part of that quest. The monsters are looking for something to gain, you know."

"Oh? Oh, why?!" She shot the little voice of a thief. "If you are doing a quest where you find these things, I don't suppose you could have been thinking of this..."

"Okay, alright, but what if it's impossible..."

"Okay, okay, not this way... But what if it's... something different, you know...? That's no good. It's just your... feeling... You're not going anywhere with that. The world seems... like... like that... What if it's too big? What if there is something so big, it really does need to be kept alive like this? And if I think about it, it'd be an absolute pain to not be able to. Maybe it's something I need to do something about, but it's something that I wouldn't choose, wouldn't it!?" Gargantia leaned forward looking at Sonic. Then Gargantia raised her hand. This was such a bad idea, too, didn't she... Sonic's heart pounded in his chest. He had to hear Gargantia. If... something came into this world... this might... be real... he was still scared. It didn't look anything like a normal heart... not that it mattered to him either.

For the most part there is no trace of a soul in this world. Sonic could tell it was nothing. No person living in this world would want anything to happen to his heart, even if it was by chance. But Sonic realized something that everyone had told him. When any one of the two had done something like that, who had done it? Wasn't that what every human of these worlds wanted... they wanted a place where they couldn't say anything else. Everyone wanted something to go in. They wanted to live in peace, and as long as they could leave a place they would make it. But it wasn't an end goal. Even if I wanted to stay in this place, I didn't want to leave them. Sonic's heart was filled with anger. His pride. And the way they spoke of "he"... well, they could always have said something like that too. And then a little later in that evening, Gargantia was crying. They knew she wouldn't go away. So if he was trying to make it to that place, Sonic had to do it. But even that meant if he was to stay or else be destroyed, he wouldn't know who would do the killing as it would be forever, so there was a possibility that a few souls would come along. However, with a little bit of preparation, they all came out of it together. Even Sonic himself knew that not everyone would be killed by the Killing Curse. But everyone, Sonic included, died.
