A/N: Just wanted to thank everyone for the support.

I've been doing this for awhile, and...well, its been fun. It means a lot, and it always will

In other news depression's starting to hit even harder these damn days. Like a sledgehammer paired with concrete.

Sometimes I wonder why I do anything at all. I can't claim to understand what's going wrong with my head anymore. I don't even know why I'm feeling this way! One moment I'm fine, then my mood craters for a few hours, then I'm back again for a bit, and the cycle repeats. On and on, round the bend, forever and without end! Its rather annoying; as though I've become a prisoner in my own mind sometimes. Sure, what's one more mental problem on the pile. Not like I don't have enough, what with already being this old. Feels like every day is a battle sometimes. Meanwhile, my doctor insists that I'm fine. Take a health walk he says. Go fishing. You'll be fine.

*siiiigh*

Right. Suuuure.

Don't bloody feel fine, doc.

As ever, I own no quotes, references, quotes, themes or memes! They're simply tributes to legends far greater than I.

I'm just an old man who writes as a pastime. I don't make any money doing this, not a single cent.

I've kept you waiting long enough, lets go.

Spoilers for Volume 9.

"So if you're the Tree, you're technically the mother of all life, aren't you?"

"I suppose that's true...from a certain point of view."

"No, no, don't start that again!"

*laughter*

Just a Walk

The Blacksmith set down her tools and considered her guest with a quizzical look. "A walk, you say?"

"Well, yeah." the young man sat cross-legged before her, the very picture of relaxation, whiskered cheeps dimpling in an easy smile. "Doesn't it get tiring, swinging that hammer all day, all the time? Fixing things? People? I think you of all people deserve a break once in a while. Shake off that metal shell and walk around as a human." he jabbed a thumb at the tattered orange-on-black vest he wore. "Like me."

What a curious notion. She'd never considered it before. She was the Tree after all, and the Tree was She.

And yet. There was wisdom in his words.

"Where would we eve go?"

Blue eyes crinkled as he smiled. "Wherever you want."

...hmm. Then I would like to see the place you called Vacuo, first."

The Specialist wrinkled his nose. "Really? Its got lots of sand. Its coarse, rough, and gets everywhere."

"Even so." she smiled, warming to the idea. "And after that, this Mistral you spoke so highly of.

"Fair." he grinned. "They make some mean seafood cuisine. Ramen, too."

She was warming to the idea. "Then Vale?"

"Better than Atlas. Warmer, too."

Something about those words made her laugh.

She set her tools down on the forge and stood. "Naruto."

Her companion blinked, utterly at his ease with her, just as he'd always been. "Hmm?"

Metal fingers shimmered into delicate pink flesh and curled around his.

"Stop talking and start walking, dear."

A/N: Aaaand there we go.

Hope you enjoyed this little tease. Soooo? Should this be a story? Once again! This is an AU.

Hope someone, somewhere, enjoyed this. I just don't know anymore these days. Its terribly hard to tell...

So...in the Immortal Words of Atlas...Review...Would You Kindly? Let me know what you think!

Preview are the same, because this just might become a story...

...but of course, that depends on feedback.

Hope you enjoy 'em~!

(Previews!)

You actually drank Qrow under the table. I'm impressed.

"Ain't seen nothing yet! Watch this~!"

Both of you sit down and talk or I swear, I'll spank you raw.

"What?!"

How dare you?!"

His hands rose with intent.

Their hindquarters hit the chairs.

Ruby, put the cookie down. You've had enough today.

A moment of lingerin silence followed. And then:

She bolted. "You'll never take me alive~!"

Final Edit: Hope you enjoyed this. Time for an old man to rest.

R&R~!
