Juvia didn't wear her hat that day, her hair was neatly tied up in a ponytail held by a white scrunchie. She always tried to cover her face with her hat to avoid the stares that people used to give her when she was younger. She chuckled softly, thinking back about how much the guild changed her for the better.
But today was different, she just wanted to be someone she could accept herself.
Her old home was located in Waas Forest, the other side of Mt. Hakobe, she remembered the orphanage that took her in that somehow got enough funds to buy a small house so that Juvia could live somewhere secluded, away from her piers that despised her because of the rain she brought. She was always alone since young but thanks to the guild, she was able to experience having friends, enjoying time and learn how to smile properly.
It was a small town that depended on itself. She knew she could always go back there knowing that no one would care about her. there Hence the thought of leaving Fairy Tail for good. The train ride was long and depressing, all she had on her mind was Gray's voice on repeat as if it was a broken record.
It took her almost a full day to get to her destination. Upon finally reaching her old house, she let out a big sigh, knowing full well that her house would be full of dust, cobwebs and probably even mold. She took the time to set her belongings aside and then started cleaning even though her body was exhausted. Opening the windows for some ventilation.
After a few hours of constant dusting, wiping, sweeping and mopping, the whole house was sparkling clean. Throwing the last bits of dirt in her rubbish bin. She looked around her house feeling nostalgic. It was here when she locked herself out from the world when everyone hated her for her rain. It was here where she also got her hobby of sewing, crocheting and knitting. She didn't expect that it was here that she would run to in the end again.
A sad smile appeared on her face as she looked down on Fairy Tail insignia on her leg. She knew she had to remove it so that no one would know of her whereabouts. Placing her hand on top of it, she whispered her final goodbye before erasing it. Looking at her thigh, her heart clenched as the Guild's insignia slowly fades off.
