The Key Wish

Chapter 2: The Shooting Star

Mount Paozu, some may call it quiet, while others call it peaceful. However there are a select few who call it "close to home", and those select few are a small family of three consisting of a husband, a wife, and a single boy. They didn't have a whole lot to their home, but it was perfect for them; because they not only had the quiet life of peace and serenity, they also had each other to watch over them with smiles and happy memories.

Distant from their home though, the father and the son were located near a lake to catch some fish for their dinner tonight. It was safe to say that they enjoyed each other's company because despite not enough activity for fishing, they never stopped smiling. The father had a tall, muscular body, perfect for both strength and speed. He wore an orange sleeveless martial arts gi with a symbol of the Turtle Hermit School icon on its left chest and back. Underneath was a blue shirt that was large enough to move his arms with ease. To complete his look, he wore two blue wristbands and two blue boots. His hair was his most notable feature as it resembled that of a palm tree. His eyes and hair were pure black, but his cheery and happy personality would make you believe it was nothing related to darkness at all.

The son nearly looked identical to his far in terms of his eyes and his hair, though the latter was well kept. He wore a white sleeveless shirt and green pants with black boots with white lacing, this outfit was covered in a Hanfu-style top that was yellow with green sleeves and on the front his family name, 'Son', written in kanji within a large white circle with black lining. The most notable feature was the red cap on top of his head with a baseball sized orange sphere with four red stars in it.

?: "I hope we catch lots of big ones daddy! We do have a lot of small ones, but the big ones are much tastier." The child said while looking towards his father.

?: "I hope so too. Though I don't think the fish appreciate our optimism at all. You'd think a few more would pop in to say "hi". The father replies jokingly, the boy laughs almost instantly.

Their optimism was cut short when it seems an hour has passed and no large sized fish appeared at all to catch their bait. Believing enough time had passed, the father and son began to pack up whatever fish they had caught and return home.

?: "Hey daddy, how much do you think mom can make with all this fish? It's not a whole lot more than what we normally get." The boy asks curiously.

?: "Hmmm, that's a good question Gohan. But knowing your mother, I'm sure it'll be something really good as long we get some other food along the way." The father assures.

The boy called "Gohan" then smiles widely and proceeds to look around nearby bushes and trees for any fruits or vegetables he can find. There was no shortage of apples or strawberries, but the same cannot be said for the means to carry them without the use of Gohan's tiny arm. The father quickly took notice of them and walked to his son quickly.

?: "No need to rush it, Gohan. Let's just remember where they are and we can come back later to get them. I'm sure they'll still be here when we come back with a basket." The man said.

?: "Good point dad. Let's go home and give mom the fish!" The boy said quickly running in the direction of home. The man just stared at the boy and smiled, but it wasn't long before the smile left when he saw his son stop and look to the sky in wonder.

?: "Gohan, what's wrong?" The father asks, running up to the boy.

Gohan: "Daddy, look! A shooting star!" Gohan points to the direction he was facing in the sky. Goku follows the direction of his son's finger and sure enough sees a light falling from the sky to eventually meet the ground below.

?: "Wow, would you look at that son. It's not everyday you see a shooting star during the day, it must be a very lucky day for us." The father said, setting down the fish and placing a hand on Gohan's shoulder giving him one of his signature smiles. Gohan soon returns the smile and soon enough, both father and son continue to stare off in the direction of the shooting star. Within a few more seconds of staring in awe and wonder, they both heard a small boom in the distance.

?: "Sounds like that shooting star landed in the forest not that far away. Hey, I have an idea, Gohan." The father said, getting his son's attention. "Let's drop the fish off at home, get your mother, and see if we can find that shooting star, so you can make a wish." The father suggested. The boy looked at him with slight confusion on his face.

Gohan: "But daddy, I thought you had to make wishes on shooting stars while they're soaring in the sky." Gohan said.

?: "That's true, but if you can make wishes while they're soaring through the sky, imagine what would happen if you're right next to one. Plus, there's nothing wrong with checking it out anyway. Right?" The father asks, resulting in Gohan shaking his head with a smile. "Great, now let's hurry back home! I want us to be the first people to find that star!" The man said, picking the fish back up and quickly moving back to his home with Gohan not too far behind.

Sure enough they made it back to their home with no shortage of breath to slow them down. The boy quickly ran in laughing and searching desperately for his mother, eager to begin the hunt.

Gohan: "Mom! Mom, are you here?" Gohan yelled in excitement. Sure enough, a woman with black hair tied in a bun and black eyes, wearing a purple dress tied with an orange cloth and a yellow sash came out of a nearby room after hearing the boy's yelling.

?: "Settle down Gohan, I'm right here. Did you have a good fishing trip with your father?" The woman asks. The boy replies with a nod and turns around upon hearing his father enter the house with a case of fish in one arm.

?: "We're back, Chi-Chi!" The father says with a grin while holding said case of fish in his hand. He then sets it on a nearby table close enough for his wife, "Chi-Chi" to examine the result of their father-son time. If one word were to describe her facial expression, it would be genuine surprise.

Chi-Chi: "Is this all you two were able to catch? I was expecting a lot more than this amount. I mean you usually do, did something happen that made you stop?" She asks curiously. The man scratched the back of his head with one hand with a small awkward chuckle as a reply to his wife's question.

?: "Well something did happen, but it's unrelated to the fish. They just weren't as much as we thought in the lake we went to. We're going to have to remember it's a no fish zone." The man replied. Hearing this, Chi-Chi was even more curious about what had happened, though she may have had an idea already.

Chi-Chi: "Wait, did it have something to do with that "boom" I heard earlier?" Chi-Chi asks before looking at the father with a stern face, "Goku, what did you do this time?" She asks sternly at the man named "Goku", which prompts him to wave his hands defensively.

Goku: "Nothing Chi-Chi, I swear! In fact that is what me and Gohan came back early to tell you." He replies to Chi-Chi, trying to calm her down. He then looks to his son with a calm smile on his face. "You want to tell her, Gohan?" He asks the boy, once again making Gohan smile widely.

Gohan: "Uh-huh!" Gohan replied with a nod. "When we got done fishing, me and daddy saw a shooting star in the sky and saw it crash into the forest. We came back here to ask if you wanted to join us in finding it, so we can make a wish!" Gohan explains cheerfully. Chi-Chi, eyes widened in shock and gave a small gasp after hearing the explanation.

Chi-Chi: "A shooting star? Honey, I don't want you going near there. The shooting star excluded, who knows what sort of attention that impact could have caused. There could be any number of beasts going towards there to investigate it. Besides, did you forget you have studying to do? Chi-Chi asks with a hint of worry in her voice. This response made Gohan look down as his excitement deflated.

Gohan: "But mom, I really wanted to see what a shooting star actually looks like with you and daddy! Please, I promise I'll be safe as long as I stick by you and daddy! Come with us!" The boy pleaded as he walked closer to his mother. Chi-Chi was unsure what to do. Sure it sounded exciting to see, but she couldn't risk Gohan's safety. It was also true that Goku would be there to protect him, but who knows what could happen with that Shooting Star, and he needed to focus on his studies. It was then that an idea clicked in her head.

Chi-Chi: "Alright Gohan, we'll go see this shooting star. But we're only going to study it, it could do well for your education." Chi-Chi said proudly, though as soon as she looked at Gohan, she noticed he only had a little smile on his face. She knew he was still a little sad about one thing, which she quickly saved into. " *sigh* We'll also go there to make a wish together, as a family." Chi-Chi said, rolling her eyes with a smile on her face, knowing it could cheer her son up. Sure enough, he looked cheerful again and proceeded to jump repeatedly in excitement, earning a chuckle from his father. "Let me just put these fish away and we can go look for the shooting star. Goku, do you remember where it landed?" Chi-Chi asks while carrying the fish away.

Goku: "I sure do, and to make good time, we can take The Flying Nimbus together to get there in a flash." Goku replied loud enough so his wife could hear.

After putting the fish away for dinner tonight, Chi-Chi quickly returned to the boys as soon as she heard Goku yell out for the Nimbus. Soon after, a yellow cloud came racing to Goku with incredible speed. This was Gohan's first time seeing nimbus so he was both scared and in awe of what his father just called. Chi-Chi quickly locked the door behind her and the three boarded the nimbus and went off in the direction of the shooting star.

Earlier

As the streak of light flew closer to the ground, the light began to fade, revealing a girl in a black coat with black hair and closed eyes. Before she could hit the ground, she was then covered in a protective barrier that saved her from the impact of the ground below, leaving behind a large crater. Minutes passed and the girl was finally beginning to stir from her sleep, finally opening her eyes slowly but surely. She sat up and held her head, once again closing her eyes feeling the effects of the impact as a bad headache.

Xion: "Oww…my head." She then began to slowly shake her head, hoping the pain would fly away like the dirt in her hair. She opened her eyes again to see her surroundings, and other than the crater she made, she found herself in a beautiful forest near a couple of mountains and a small waterfall and met up with a long river. Xion continued to stare in wonder of this beautiful place, forgetting all about the headache from a moment ago. "It's so beautiful." Xion said in awe. She looked down and noticed the crater she made and her eyes widened in shock. "I guess I have Abby to thank for saving me from the impact. Though a softer landing would've been nice." Xion pouted while crossing her arms.

She leaves the crater and begins to observe the forest more. There was no wildlife around, though Xion supposed she had her entrance to thank for scaring any wildlife off. There also were no people nearby which she was thankful for, because she did not feel like explaining why she fell out of the sky or apologizing severely for crashing down in the area. In a moment of silence, Xion raises her right hand and attempts to summon her new keyblade. In a flash of light, her new keyblade does appear in her hand, resulting in Xion giving a warm smile.

Xion: "I really do owe Abby a lot for everything she's done, including letting me have a chance to use the keyblade once more." She said. She continued to stare at her new blade in silence and then widened her eyes in realization. "I was so happy to get this new keyblade, I completely forgot to ask her what it was called." Xion said before facepalming herself.

?: "Elemental Encoder…"

Xion removed her palm from her face after hearing the unknown voice and assumed her battle stance. She looked all over for the source and found nobody in sight.

Xion: "Who's there?!" Xion demanded. There was no reply to her demand. As quickly as the voice came, it left like the wind. Xion continued to find who was in her vicinity but eventually decided to undo her stance, believing the voice to be gone. "Who was that? It wasn't Abby, the voice was too different, yet it feels familiar…" Xion pondered. She eventually snapped out of her thoughts and continued to make her way out of the forest she was surrounded in.

After walking for several minutes, she eventually did find many wildlife creatures such as deer, rabbits, and several birds and butterflies. She occasionally found what appeared to be dinosaurs lurking about and even saw what appeared to be dragons, though she chose to avoid those as much as possible, believing she did not come all this way just to be eaten.

She eventually found herself staring at a large waterfall, and as much as she enjoyed the view it was providing her, Xion knew she had to find this champion soon. The less time she spends wandering around in this forest without a clue, the better.

Xion: "Well, Abby said that this champion goes out and collects supplies for his family, she also said that she'd send me near the general area of his home. I bet I could possibly find his house if I get a higher vantage point." She thought. She knew she still didn't have the proper strength to climb up the waterfall as she is now, so she had no choice but to move around to the back and hike her way up. It was moments like these where she was glad she was no longer in the organization, but still missed the use of Corridors Of Darkness, but even then she had to know the area to properly use it and she had just gotten here.

For what felt like forever, she finally reached the top of the waterfall and began to inspect the surrounding area. Not to her surprise, she found even more trees and mountains as far as the eye could see, but no visible house or anywhere one could call a home. After letting out a disappointed sigh, she began to climb back down using the same path she took to get there and decided to follow the river, believing if anyone would build a house in the forest, they would surely make it near a natural source of water.

Xion: "Gotta give Roxas credit, these scouting missions are time consuming. But at least I'm not hunting down that one heartless without a keyblade again…that is one memory I could do without." She said, giving a small shiver remembering hunting down a chameleon heartless for days on end.

Little did she know, a pair of eyes began to follow and track her down. While her back was turned, a shadow quickly rushed from a pair of bushes and charged directly at Xion. She barely had time to acknowledge what had charged at her, and quickly rolled out of the way before getting her bearings. She was face to face with a saber tooth tiger as it was preparing to charge at her again, she took her battle stance with her keyblade and began to wait for the boar to make its move.

The sabretooth tiger once again charges at Xion, hoping to take more than a simple bite of her. Xion retaliates by quickly casting Blizzard on the ground below, causing the sabretooth tiger to slide across the ground before using its claws to stop itself. Using this chance, Xion quickly launches a Fire spell at her opponent just strong enough to blast the tiger away but weak enough to not start a forest fire. The Fire spell sent the tiger flying away a short distance, unaware of Xion rushing directly to the tiger with great speed. With three consecutive slashes, the tiger was once again tossed away from its prey, seemingly exhausted while the girl appeared to not even break a sweat.

Realizing the odds of winning this fight against its prey with its weapon and magic, the tiger quickly takes off away from the girl to recover. Watching the tiger leave, Xion lets out an exhale and de-summons her keyblade. Returning to the river, she once again follows its direction but also on the lookout for any other predators hoping to take a swing at Xion. While walking she began to replay the fight that just occurred in her head.

Xion: "Thankfully that sabretooth tiger wasn't all that challenging but that fight did bring up a few things on my skill level. So far my greatest strength would be my reaction time. While its first attack nearly got me, it was thanks to the sound of the bushes that caused me to quickly react. It also chose to rush at me a second time, which gave me the perfect counter with Blizzard, removing all its traction. Should it have pounced at me, it would've been a bit harder to deal with. In fact, I think it was because of my magic that it ran off…my attacks weren't all that strong as they were hard. My speed also needs work, I'm sure there are predators out here in this forest besides tigers and I need to be fast enough to out maneuver them, or to retreat to a safe distance." She spoke out loud.

Xion held her head in her palm with one hand while holding her elbow with her other hand and continued to walk. Thankfully no other predators stronger than the sabretooth tiger showed up, but it did not mean that she wasn't attacked by other animals. She was attacked by a wild boar, avoided a few snakes, and almost had a frightful encounter with a bear. Night was drawing closer, and still Xion had not seen anyone, let alone the man in orange or the tailed boy all day. She stopped in her tracks as she noticed a log cabin close by. She walked to the cabin hoping to get some information and to take a small break from countless walking. She arrived at the door and began to softly knock on it three times. A while passed with no response, Xion once again knocked on the door with a little more force behind it, though still nothing responded. She knew it was rude but she needed a safe place to rest up, so she opened the door, must to her surprise to find it unlocked and stepped inside.

Xion: "Excuse me, is there anyone here?" Xion called out with once again no reply. She quickly checked every room in the cabin to see if anyone was merely sleeping or perhaps possibly injured. Thankfully nobody was injured and it didn't appear anybody was home. Either the owner left the cabin to run an errand or they left this cabin behind and moved somewhere else. Either way, Xion was a bit relieved to know she wouldn't get in trouble for her moment of breaking and entering. Xion opened up the refrigerator and took a bottle of water and rested on the couch in front of the fireplace leaving herself to her thoughts.

Xion: "At this rate, it'll take forever to find this guy. From what I've seen from the view at the waterfall to walking all the way here, this is a large natural area where lots of people don't usually live. Instead, they spend their vacation days here just to relax." Xion said out loud. Letting out a frustrated groan, she lies back down on the couch. "I'm starting to forget Abby's description of this man if there was much of one. The most key piece of info was to also be on the lookout for a boy with a tail. Hmmm, wonder who that boy could be…possibly a student or his own child since Abby did say he went on supply runs for his family." She said.

Looking outside, she noticed the sun began to set, marking the end of the day. She quickly ran outside and using the best her agility could take her, she made her way to the rooftop and sat down near the edge of the roof with her legs hanging over and watched the sun set. As she looked at the sunset, she gave a small smile of nostalgia and from her face fell a single tear, though she quickly rubbed her eyes.

Xion: "I wish Roxas and Axel could see this, I know they'd be happy knowing I'm alive and ok. At the very least, I wish Abby could be here with me so I'm not completely alone…" Xion looked down, saddened. Xion shook her head quickly. "No, it's only been one day! I still have plenty of time to find this champion or the tailed boy and get their help. As for my friends, I will get stronger and I WILL see them again, then the four of us can watch plenty of sunsets no matter what the world. Sora didn't give up for his friends, so neither will I! But still…what I would give for some ice cream right now." She said jokingly.

After the sun fully set, she quickly returned inside the cabin and decided to get some sleep so that she can continue her search tomorrow. The bed was comfortable, so sure enough it was easy for her to pass out. With the help from the exhaustion of searching all day, she quickly surrendered herself to the security of sleep.

Seconds turned to minutes, minutes turned to hours, night turned to day. The sun rose over the land, welcoming its warmth to everything in its wake. Xion began to stir in her sleep before finally opening her eyes to the new day. With a good yawn and a few stretches, she removed herself from the bed and walked to the bathroom. With a stroke of luck, plumbing was still active in the cabin, thus the idea of a hot shower was not too far out of the question. After several minutes of washing and drying herself off, Xion left the cabin to search for anything to eat before beginning to search again.

While luck was on her side for hot water, the same cannot be said for nearby foods. Xion returned to the cabin shortly after and gathered at least three bottles of water. Using a pillow sheet, Xion made a makeshift bag to carry the water bottles and any future provisions she could find and began her second day of searching.

Xion: "Without a compass, it'll be impossible to find that cabin since I have no idea where I'm going. Which means I'll have to give this search everything I got." She said. Xion, once again using her athletic ability, reaches the top of the cabin and begins to look around the area. She spots a mountain not too far out of reach and begins to make her way there.

She travels for what seems like hours and she feels she's made a good bit of progress, taking small breaks to keep her strength steady and ready for any animal attacks. During her breaks, she searched the surrounding area for any nearby fruits or vegetables she could find and pack away, while also re-training herself in using her keyblade using only her memory for when she collected hearts for the organization. Eventually, Xion made it to the top of the mountain and began to search the surrounding area for any noticeable buildings or landmarks she could travel to next.

Sure enough, she quickly finds the cabin she had stayed in and to Xion's surprise, she finds a small hut several miles away from the cabin, near the foot of the forest. Xion was unsure if the hut was where this champion lived, but it was a good enough lead to continue her search. Traveling back down the mountain was just as taxing as hiking back up but knew she could do it.

Walking for hours, exhaustion was soon beginning to take effect on Xion's body and mind. She was glad that she bagged any food and had enough water to last this long, but she had hoped she would at least run into a single human and not just animals scared to walk to her or predators trying to eat her. She sat down in front of a try and began to eat an apple to recharge her strength.

Xion: "I hope I'll be near that building soon. It's almost beginning to get dark and I haven't found a single trace of any people in a long time." She thinks to herself. Before she can take another bite out of her apple, Xion begins to hear something she wasn't expecting, a scream.

?: "AAAAAAHH! Daddy, help me!" The voice screams. Xion quickly darts up from her seated position and tries to hear the voice again. "AAAAAAAAHHHH!" The voice screams again. Locking onto the general direction of the voice, Xion quickly sprints to the location of the voice with newfound energy.

She finds herself out in a small open area where various claw marks have been made all around the area. She quickly turns her head to another scream and sees a little boy running away from an unusually large bear. The bear continuously tried to swipe at the boy with all its might and speed, but the boy was too quick for the bear to land a good hit. Before the bear could take another swipe at the boy, the paw was suddenly stopped by a giant key-like sword.

Xion: "Leave him alone!" Xion yells aggressively. The bear used its other paw to swipe at Xion, with little success as the newcomer was also quick enough to dodge out of the way of the bear's attacks. Xion retaliates by launching a Fire spell at the bear, impacting the bear to launch it backwards enough. Seeing the boy sitting in shock, she runs up to him with concern. "Are you ok?" She asks with worry.

?: "U-Uh…uh..." the boy mumbles at a loss for words.

Xion: "Snap out of it! Are you ok or not?!" Xion says assertively. This appeared to have made the boy come to his senses as he fully acknowledges Xion and nods his head, indicating he's ok. "Good. You should leave before it comes back, do you know the way home?" Xion asks the boy.

?: "Uh…yes! I know the way back home!" The boy replies while nodding his head.

Xion: "Then go on, I'll take care of the bear while you run back home!" Xion says while grabbing the boy's shoulders. A loud roar broke their concentration, facing the direction of the roar, the two saw the bear charging in their direction. Xion quickly ran at the bear with keyblade in hand hoping to give the boy enough time to run, which he shortly did, allowing Xion to fight off the bear without worry.

Still running at the bear, Xion quickly casts Blizzard to the ground below, freezing it solid, causing the bear to slide across the ground. Jumping over the ice, Xion locks onto the bear and casts Thunder to strike the bear as it slides away. After landing on the ground she charges at the bear rising to the ground after taking her lightning attack, Xion manages to get two slashes at the bear before knocking her away with its forearm. Taking much harsher attacks from that, Xion has no problem landing on her feet and runs at the bear again, prompting the bear to charge at her. She casts fire magic at the bear again, but the bear was prepared and with all its defenses powered on through the spell, while it hurt the bear kept charging at her, surprising the girl.

The bear rams into Xion, knocking her down onto the ground. The bear, not wasting any time, pins itself above Xion and bites at her. Using the keyblade, the bear chomps down on the keyblade instead of Xion, causing a struggle between the girl and the bear. Using all her might, Xion kept the bear at bay for as long as she could, though the bear was quickly overpowering her. As a last ditch effort, she casts Thunder once more to shock the bear knowing it would hit her as well. The surge of lightning was unpleasant to say the least, but it did provide Xion with enough time to let go of her blade and crawl away from the bear.

Xion struggles to stand back up from her own strike, but eventually gets back onto her feet. As Xion turns around to face the bear, it quickly charges at her with all its persistence and with all its force strikes at Xion. Using all the strength she has left, she quickly tries to protect herself by shielding the bear's paw and claws by summoning the keyblade between her and the paw. She saves herself from getting slashes by the claws, but due to the bear's strength and surprise attack, Xion was launched into the forest, slamming into multiple trees before her momentum slowed her down and knocked her out cold.

The bear charges at Xion hoping to tear her apart, but before it could finish the girl off, she quickly disappears. Surprised and out of its rage, the bear looks around confused, looking all around for its invisible prey. Before the bear knows what hit it, a large beam of blue light strikes it with enough power to burn the bear to a crisp, killing it. As the bear impacts the ground, a tall man in orange clothing comes out from behind the trees and examines the fallen beast.

?: "Well, that wasn't as long or tough as I thought it was going to be." The man said with a small smile on his face. He turns around and begins to walk to a floating yellow cloud behind the cover of trees, carrying Xion safely above it. "Though, I have a feeling I have you to thank for that." He stares at Xion's sleeping face and smiles.

"I owe you a lot more for saving my son when he needed help. I'll make sure to repay the favor after we get you some help, Chi-Chi should be able to help you with your injuries. But before that, let's get you back to the house so she can help you out. I'd really like to know your name to properly thank you." The man said to Xion. He holds her in her arms bridal style and sits down on the cloud himself as it begins to fly away to the direction of the hut Xion found hours ago.

End Of Chapter 2

A/N: Apologies for the long wait for this chapter, some irl situations prevented me from working on this further. I was also trying to think of the scenes in my head playing out like a tv episode, but so many scenarios came to mind it was hard to figure out which one was the best one to choose.

I wanted to point out that the timing of this fanfic is at least a couple of weeks before the start of Dragon Ball Z. I chose this because I wanted to build up the relationship between Xion and the Son family before beginning on Z's main story. I also wanted to try my hand at "battle" scenes so I hopefully improve them later on. As you have noticed, I decided to use magic to affect the environment instead of just using basic magic and attacks used in the Kingdom Hearts series to hopefully make it a little more dynamic and see how the audience likes it and see whether I should keep environmental effects or just stick to the usual Kingdom Hearts magic effects.

I had some suggestions from user "ArguableReader" on the first chapter, but I want you to know that I did not ignore you at all, I was already working on this chapter before your review came in so please do not think I was passing over your review xD. To your first point, I do intend for character development and relations between the Z characters and Xion to grow, though I'm not sure if I'll make it as long because I don't want it to be an exact replica as Dragon Ball Z, so I'll probably have smaller arcs to build up the character development and relations for Xion to get to know them better.

I will take some of my free time to read Firestar's fanfic to try and get a handle for my own fanfic, so thank you for that suggestion. As for the power level scaling, that will be a bit tough since the power level scaling is needed to handle certain opponents, but I'll try to keep Xion's power on the same kind of mechanic of Kingdom Hearts' level system whether it's fighting opponents or completing certain objectives, she'll get stronger and abilities as a reward. It's hard to put it into words, but I see your worry and try not to fully rely solely on power levels themselves for Xion's training but obviously it's needed heavily for Goku and them.

I'm glad you like the idea of Xion using her keyblade, although this was necessary because nearly all of Xion's existence was used alongside the keyblade and swordplay. Just switching her to hand-to-hand combat would make her training take longer and I feel could be boring for the audience since the core of Kingdom Hearts is the character using the keyblade to the best of their ability, so I'll keep it that way.

Ok that should be it, unless I missed something, in which case lemme know. I'll leave this chapter open for at least a week before working on chapter three to look over any suggestions and questions you all may have. I'll also try to make the next chapter a little more enjoyable for you all because I had to at least make Xion finding Goku a challenge. Alrighty then, I will see you all next time for the third chapter!
