Chapter 2: Pushed Too Far

Another day at school, Samey was grabbing things from her locker when she felt someone walk up next to her. She looked up, and to her surprise, she saw Justin.

"Hey there." he greeted. Samey blushed a little.

"Uh, hi." Samey replied.

What was going on? Cute guys like Justin didn't usually talk to her.

"So I hear you have a crush on me." Justin told her in a suave voice.

Then it hit her, Justin thought she was Amy. Before Samey could correct him, Amy stomped up to them.

"What's going on here!?" she demanded.

When Justin saw Amy, he realized his mistake.

"Oh, you're the other sister. Sorry, I was looking for Amy." Justin told Samey.

Amy face softened a little.

"Oh, well I'm Amy, not her. As you can see I'm the prettier twin."

Amy then pushed her sister out of the way.

"Great, so you wanna grab lunch together?" Justin suggested.

"Sounds good." Amy replied.

When Justin left the two, Amy gave her sister a death glare.

"Listen up, Samey if I ever catch you flirting with Justin again I'll make your life miserable." she threatened.

"But I wasn't flirting with him, he just mistook me for you." Samey tried to defend.

"I'm warning you, Samey."

And then she stormed off. Samey then breathed nervously, and wiped sweat off her forehead.

At lunch, Amy happily had lunch with Justin. And at Samey's table with Jasmine and Cody she told them about what happened.

"Well if you ask me those two deserve each other." Jasmine said in a sarcastic voice.

"At least they have each other." Cody replied.

The two girls just looked at him.

"Is this because of Gwen?"

Samey wanted to know. Gwen was a girl that went to their school. Cody had a crush on her, but she was dating another guy named Trent.

"Maybe."

"Well all I know is hopefully with Amy dating Justin she'll be too busy to torture me." Samey hoped.

However over the next few days, Amy just became even more demanding and bossy. Because Amy was so busy with her new boyfriend she made Samey do her homework, her chores, and Amy even used her as a mannequin when picking out outfits for her dates.

And she constantly rubbed in Samey's face that she was dating one of the school's most cutest and popular guys in school. Usually, Samey just took this but then one day she just snapped. At home she was in her room when Amy burst in.

"Samey, I need you to stop whatever you're doing because I need you to try on this dress that Justin got for me."

"Why do I have to do it? It's your dress."

"Because I just ate a full dinner, and I can't risk it looking bad on me. And besides, I can take it looking bad on you."

Then Samey finally put her foot down.

"Amy, we look exactly the same. And besides I don't have time right now, I have homework to do."

Amy was dumbfounded, and then it turned to a scowl.

"You don't know what you just did, Samey."

And with that, Amy stormed out of the room. Samey just rolled her eyes, and went back to work.

The following day Samey told Jasmine what she did.

"Good for you, Samey." Jasmine complimented.

"Thanks, I still can't believe I did it." Samey replied.

"By the way, have you seen Cody around?" "Not really."

As they turned a corner, they saw a horrible sight. Cody was giving Amy a peck on the cheek.

"Cody!?" the two said in surprised.

"Oh hey guys. You won't believe it Amy asked me out." Cody informed.

The two were speechless. Before anyone could say anything the bell rang and they had to go to class.

During one of classes, Samey whispered to Cody.

"Cody, how could you agree to go out with my sister?"

"She was really sweet when she asked me, and besides she doesn't seem that bad." he explained.

Before Samey could protest the teacher started talking.

In between classes, Jasmine and Samey confronted Amy.

"Amy what are you doing dating Cody?" Samey asked her.

"Yeah, aren't you already dating Justin?" Jasmine wanted to know.

"Well Justin's spending a a couple months in Alberta for a photo shoot so I can't be boyfriend-less." Amy explained smugly.

Samey looked completely dumbfounded while Jasmine looked angry.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go. And by the way, I hope you don't have plans with Cody next week because he's gonna take me shopping."

And what that, Amy walked away smugly.

Over the next few months, Amy and Cody continued to date. He spent less time with Jasmine and Samey, but to be honest the two didn't really want to hang out with Cody. At home Amy kept rubbing in her sister's face how great Cody was, and how good a kisser he happened to be.

Then one day, while Samey was walking down the hallway when Cody quickly came up to her.

"Samey, listen I really need to talk to you." he told her.

"What is it?"

"I need your opinion on something important."

He then pulled out two small boxes, that had a set of earrings in them.

"What kind of earrings does Amy like. Does she like gold or silver?" Samey scowled at him, and then just walked off.

"Hey, what's wrong?" he asked hurrying after her.

"Can't you see that Amy's just using you?"

"She's not using me. She told me that she and Justin weren't right for each other and that she wants to date me because I'm a nice guy."

"And you believed her?"

Then Cody began getting mad.

"So what, you don't think I'm a nice guy?"

"It's not that Cody..."

"You know what, I bet you're just jealous of Amy."

That really took Samey aback. At first she felt really sad and tears welled up in her eyes, but then she got mad.

"You know what Cody? Go ahead and date Amy but don't you come crying to me when she breaks your heart!" she snapped, and she stormed off.
