Chapter 8 – In Your Arms
PREVIOUSLY
"You just threw me on the bed…." She playfully said narrowing her eyes watching him pull of his black haori and removing his shirt before crawling on top of her.
"Was that too rough?" he asked mischievously, kissing her neck making her gasp, "Or not rough enough?" she heard him say before he bit her shoulder through her shirt.
Kimiko moaned as he bit her shoulder, her hands buried into his hair. She tightened her grip on his head as she felt his hands on her breasts through her blouse. He lifted his head to look into her eyes. She watched as he pulled away from her to remove her clothes, leaving her completely naked before him on the bed, he brought his hand to her cheek, caressing her gently.
She smiled at him, talking his distraction to her advantage, so she could quickly push him on his shoulders, so he was laying on the bed beneath her.
"That was sneaky." He told her, watching her slide her hands down his chest stopping at the top of his pants. She chuckled as she pulled his pants off, throwing them to the side, before returning and kissing his chest, making her way down, stopping just below his belly button. Kisukes' breath hitched in his throat as he watched her make small swirls with her tongue at the tip of his erection.
Kimiko lifted her eyes to his, watching his facial expressions change, enjoying how he tried to always keep his composure. She swirled her tongue one more time before pulling the tip into her mouth smiling as she felt his body shudder.
Kisuke groaned as his hand came up entangling itself in her ponytail, which he had forgotten to pull out. She let her tongue roll against the hot flesh as her free hand roamed up his stomach, raking her nails on him as she went. His grip on her tightened as she sucked harder, pulling another groan from his throat.
Kisuke was using every ounce of strength and control, but he didn't think he was going to be able to much longer if she continued.
"Kimiko…..." he gasped, tightening his hand, and closing his eyes tightly.
She pulled back, dragging her tongue along his length one last time before licking and nipping her way up his body, straddling his hips. She kissed his chin, making her way up to his ear, nibbling on his earlobe, taking satisfaction hearing his moan.
"Kisuke…." She whispered in a pleading tone that made his body tremble.
He sat up keeping her straddled on his hips. He let his hand slip between them, slipping two fingers inside her easily. He felt her walls tighten around his fingers immediately as she gasped in pleasure. He slowly pulled his fingers almost completely out of her before pushing them back in, watching as she gasped again, digging her nails into his shoulders.
"I need you … Kisuke…" she whispered, his master plan of dragging out her pleasure like this crumbled at her words. He quickly removed his fingers, grasping her hips to position her as his lips met hers eagerly while he lowered her onto his erection. Kimiko gasped, breaking the kiss, keeping her eyes closed tightly, resting her head on his as he filled her completely.
Kisuke grunted as he felt her squeeze him with her walls, he had to take a deep breath to keep from falling over the edge right there. He looked into her eyes as he started moving her hips to meet his deliberate thrusts. They stayed in a torturously slow rhythm never breaking their eye contact. He leaned forward so he could attack her exposed neck licking and sucking, knowing that he was leaving marks.
His body shuddered as he raked her nails up and down his back, he pulled her closer. He was thoroughly enjoying the intense pleasure he was feeling, even though he had to focus to force the pressure building in him down a bit more.
Kimiko kissed his shoulder, moving to his neck sucking on the junction for a moment before pulling back and grazing his lips slightly.
"Not rough enough." She said with authority dragging her tongue across his lower lip.
Kisuke's eyes widened, and he quickly lifted her up, with himself still inside her, and laid her down on the bed. He gripped her hips roughly, capturing her lips in a rough demanding kiss as his speed increased.
He lost control. Those words, said with such authority that he always admired about her, turned him into an animal. He let all his logic leave him, replacing it with pure raw emotion. Every thrust, cry, moan, and sting of her nails destroyed the fortress he had built around himself. He hid his face in her neck, pushing himself deeper and harder into her.
She had always been able to pull the real him out, past the false emotions, and masks he created his whole life. The extent of the effects she continued to have on him even after all this time frightened him to his core.
Kimiko let her hand drift from his hair to touch his cheek, freeing him from the thoughts that were consuming him. His eyes met hers, holding her gaze. He watched as she moaned causing him to thrust a little harder; a little deeper. Her eyes widened, her mouth gaping open as she panted, he growled lowly as he continued to hold her gaze, refusing to look away.
He knew she was close and so was he. He was becoming aggressive, giving up on trying to find the control he had already lost.
"K-Kisuke" she stuttered as she reached her limit arching her back up into him as her body shook beneath his. Kisuke slammed his eyes shut tightly as her walls tightened on him almost painfully, he thrust into her two more times before he fell over the edge. He slammed his lips to hers trying to muffle their conjoined cries. He grunted into the kiss as his body stilled. He rested his head on her shoulder panting, completely exhausted but refusing to collapse on top of her. He slowly pulled out of her eliciting a gasp from her, he fell to the side next to her, his body trembling as he tried to get his breathing under control.
Kimiko turned her head to the side watching Kisuke breathe in and out with his eyes closed.
"Kisuke…." She whispered.
"Hm?" he responded. His mind was still processing the hundreds of emotions that had kicked his ass. Finding her again caused them all to charge to the surface at once, they overwhelmed him. He had to learn to get them under control again, like he did long ago with her. He opened his eyes to see Kimiko lost in thought, the look on her face cleared his mind in an instant and he lifted his head.
"Kimiko? What's wrong?" he questioned, concerned.
"I'm afraid…." She admitted to him, and his eyes widened briefly. In all the time he had known her, she had never uttered those words.
"Afraid?"
"Yes, afraid that someone is going to take me away from you again, and this time I won't be fast enough to make sure I get back to you." She had said it so silently he had to strain to hear it.
Kisuke pulled her closer to him, wrapping her in his arms fully. He kissed her head feeling her tremble.
"No one will take you from me again. I will die first. I am not a man that makes the same mistakes twice." He said forcefully into her hair. He pulled her ponytail loose, allowing him to run his fingers through her locks.
The next few days had been quiet, which always worried Kisuke. Kisuke was sitting on his porch watching Kimiko help Jinta and Ururu sweep up the fallen leaves.
"Ururu! You missed a spot."
"But Jinta…. That's your side of the courtyard…." Ururu said quietly, looking down.
Jinta went to swing the broom at Ururu but found himself face first in the dirt. He shook his head, spitting out the dirt from his mouth, looking around.
He looked behind him and saw Kimiko kneeling on the ground with her hand in front of her, her palm glowing. He looked further and saw a chain of leaves wrapped around his leg. He turned his shocked expression to Kimiko, right before the leaves started pulling him back over to his side of the courtyard.
"Now Jinta, there was an agreement that you would do your side of the courtyard and Ururu would do hers." She said smiling at him while standing upright. Jinta jumped up and brushed the dirt off his clothes, picking up his broom before going back to the leaves.
She laughed and went to sit next to Kisuke on the porch.
"I never did figure out how you do it." He said, his hat covering his eyes.
"Do what?"
"Get everyone who meets you to love you." He replied as a matter of fact. He turned and watched her face grow cold.
"Not everyone." she whispered sadly. Kisuke placed his hand on her knee, squeezing it. Suddenly a Senkaimon appeared. Kisuke raised his eyebrows, not expecting anyone. He saw a figure walk out of the doors as it started to fade. He realized it was Yoruichi.
"So that's were you've been." Kisuke stated.
"I needed time to process…. Not every day you see someone who was dead in the living room." she muttered crossing her arms. Yoruichi turned her gaze to Kimiko, before walking over and sitting next to her. "So… not planning on dying again, right?"
Kimiko snapped her head quickly to look at her. "Still as tactful as ever, I see. I wasn't planning on dying the first time. Not like I woke up and went 'hmm I think today I'll just die." Kimiko replied sarcastically. "How did we become friends again?"
Yoruichi looked at her and smiled. "You have this weird ability to make people love you, besides, if I wanted to see my friend, I had to accept you also." She laughed. "Never realized how alike you and I were. Kisuke and Tessai must gravitate to strong willed women."
Kimiko smiled while nodding. "I suppose you're right…. Who else would keep them in line…."
"You two do know I am sitting right here." Kisuke muttered, annoyed.
Kimiko found herself in Kisukes training grounds most days. He wanted her to be fully prepared for anything that showed up again. They had not seen Arrancar since he attacked her at the apartment, which bothered Kisuke to no end, something big was coming.
He found her resting against a large boulder, absently playing with the amulet he had given her so long ago. He walked closer to her silently, knowing she knew he was there. He saw Suiro resting on the ground in front of her.
"Penny for your thoughts?" Kisuke said looking straight ahead.
"Hmm, just waiting for the other shoe to drop I suppose." Was her reply. She turned to look at him as she heard him unsheathing Benihime. She raised her eyebrow at him.
"How about a little spar? It's been so long since you and I practiced with each other." He smirked arrogantly.
Kimiko watched him as he charged her, her eyes widened as she barely managed to roll away with Suiro as Kisuke sliced the boulder in half effortlessly. She jumped to her feet glaring at him.
"What the fuck Kisuke – "
She flashed dodging his attack again. He was still as swift and cunning as she remembered him to be. When he fought, he was deadly and merciless and she knew it, even if it was just sparring. She knew he avoided fighting or sparring because of that, his eyes would become sinister.
Kimiko blocked his swipe just in time with Suiro, pushing him back. Kisuke slammed Benihime down into the ground and swung his leg around knocking her back into a cliff side. Kimiko stood up shaking her head, growling.
Kisuke's foot almost collided with the side of her head, and she just managed to block it, shoving his leg to the side causing him to flip into a boulder, she hissed as her left arm stung, blocking that blow caused damage. She continued to dodge his powerful blows, knowing that if she blocked again, she would take more damage, he wasn't pulling them, and they weren't to be taken lightly.
She narrowed her eyes, watching his movements, until she decided to take a chance. He swung his right arm at her, so she grabbed it, using the leverage to swing around to kick out at his head, he shifted his head in time causing her to knock his hat clear off, concentrating her spiritual pressure into her legs, she was able to knock him back before flipping away from him, she watched as he winced slightly.
She was breathing heavily, and missed Kisuke vanishing until he appeared in front of her.
"You're full of openings," he muttered darkly to her, he swung out again with Benihime, causing Kimiko to block his attack with Suiro to grab his wrist, using his body weight against him, letting him flip over her back to land on the ground. Kimiko rolled with him landing with one knee on his chest and the other pinning his arm that held Benihime.
Kisuke panted as he felt Suiro resting against his neck. He winced as he opened his eyes to meet hers. They stared at each other trying to catch their breath. They both heard clapping from the stairs off to the side, causing their heads to turn.
Ichigo, Rukia, Renji, Orihime, Uryu, and Chad were standing there their faces expressing both shock and admiration of how they fought each other.
Kimiko looked back at Kisuke who was now smirking at her. She stood up from pinning him to the ground. She watched as he rubbed his chest where her knee had just been.
"That was amazing…. For a second, I thought you two were really going to kill each other." Ichigo said coming closer to them. Kimiko didn't say anything as she turned and walked towards a boulder, leaping to the top, before sitting down.
"Something I said?" Ichigo wondered out loud. He looked at Kisuke who was staring at her, letting his wheels spin in his mind.
Kimiko sat on the boulder, letting her head hang. She sighed feeling her fists clench. Kisuke suddenly appeared behind her.
"Come to try and kill me again?" She snapped, not really knowing why she said that, or for which time she was referring.
Kisuke gasped slightly, her comment catching him unawares. He narrowed his eyes at her, before kneeling behind her.
"I thought it would let you get your frustration out; you knew I wouldn't go easy on you." he said, placing his hand on her shoulder, feeling her tension. "What is it?"
"Do you know what day it is?" she asked him.
Kisuke had to think for a moment, before his eyes went wide, then sighing. He kneeled fully behind her, resting his forehead on the top of her head.
"I didn't…."
"You didn't have to remember any more because I'm no longer dead?" Her tone carried a hint of ice in it.
"I supposed that is accurate. I had been reliving the day you died since it happened. With you here…. I must have let it be pushed." He kissed her head softly. "I'm sorry, my muse." Kimiko sniffed. "We'll be upstairs." He whispered before disappearing.
"What's the deal Kisuke?" She heard Ichigo ask.
"Let her be, I'm sure Tessai has some tea ready, let's not allow it to get cold." Kisuke responded ushering the group back up the stairs, looking over his shoulder one last time at her.
A/N: Hope that wasn't too horrendous, I'm having a hard time getting this to flow very well…. Hopefully, I'll get some clarity. Please let me know what you think, thoughts, suggestions.
