The Hunter's Dream, meeting of Gods.

"What do youmeanthe patron goddess of the Hindu pantheon is anEldritch Goddess?!"

"Ah, yes. That." mused Azathoth.

I sent her alook.

Lucy meanwhile, was left blinking at my words.

"Wait, what? That's a thing?" she exclaimed.

Aza sighed. "Yes, it is."

"To be specific," Yog said, "her original name was Ghiaaanr'unaftu'a, or simply Ghiaa, the Queen from Above. She insists on going by her human names like Rhada, Rani, etc. As you know, Eldritch Gods can take on human forms. Rhada, however, has fallen in love with humanity's form and ideals of godhood. She's essentially forsaken her original form, as she was a Great Old One, bordering on Outer God, but now she's essentially just an Elder in power."

"That's…" Lucy fell silent. "I mean, wow. I'm not sure what to add to that."

"I suppose that she isn't the goddess ofDevotionfor nothing." I mused.

Yog smirked. "Quite. It usually is connected to her love for her husband, Krishna, but that works for her love of Humanity as well. Mind you, she's perfectly loyal to Azathoth, now to you as well, perhapsespeciallyyou, but she is a bit obsessed with getting other Eldritch to at least partially embrace her way of things. She will regularly inquire if you have forsaken your Eldritch form or if you and Azathoth might make that the new policy for all the gods. Azathoth was never onboard with that plan, but you can push her into it, if that is what you wish for. And all gods can eventually train their new forms to their old heights. This won't go over well with everyone, though. Taking a mortal form to mingle with them is one thing, but confining themselves to those limited forms full time will be very unappealing to many."

"I won't." I promptly replied. "Yes, I do support the ideas of Eldritch Gods having mortal forms to use to interact with mortals, but I won't demand anyone to effectively become human gods. Besides, as much as I love Humanity, they aren't the only mortal species in existence. So no, I'm all for helping push Eldritch Gods into creating alternate forms able to hide among humans oranyother mortal species, but no more than that."

Yog smiled, even as some tension left the Eldritch Goddesses around me.

"That's good to hear." declared Yog. "You could have pushed for it, you have the power and Authority, but so blatantly favoring Humanity wouldn't have been appreciated by many. Oh, they would have understood your love for your old species, but such favoritism would still have been a black mark against you."

"I would have supported you." said Azathoth firmly, before sighing and smiling. "But I will admit, I'm glad that you chose not to use your Authority like that."

I shook my head. "I respect Free Will. Forcing people into changing their bodies is a violation I will never support. If gods are convinced to change, that is one thing, but imposing my will like that is repugnant to me."

There were smiles from the goddesses around me, though Yog sent me a long look.

"I agree in this case, but be aware that there will be times where you will have to be firm as a King."

"And I will be." I promised. "But only on topics I truly believe in."

Yog shrugged. "Fair enough. But let's introduce the goddess now, shall we?"

I nodded, and opened the next portal.

Thegoddessand her pet tiger on the other side took one look at me, in my tall human form with robes of stars and the void of space, and with only my eyes truly showing my inhumanity, and she smiled widely, even as said tiger shuddered slightly in fear.

Ghia- Radha, the Quee- Human goddess, stuttered the Booklet, the magic of it for once visibly malfunctioning.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, O Height of Heights. More so in your still exquisite form!" she exclaimed.

"Yes, I was told of your love for the human form. Not that I will disagree with you, as I am rather biased on the subject myself." I joked.

The goddess' eyes lit up at my words, but I decided that I did need to make my position clear before anything else.

"That being said, I do possess two Eldritch Forms to change into. I just don't use them much because they can be…" I fell silent, searching for a good way to describe things, before finishing. "Overwhelming."

"That's one way to put it." muttered Lucy, a thousand-yard stare of awe and fear on her face as she was reminded of them.

Aza nodded, having seen through me and seen essentially the full depths of my being.

A flash of disappointment crossed Radha's face, though I kept going before she could speak up. "Though even those aren't my True Form. That one is… Well, I'm an existence similar to the Gate and the Key, essentially."

A look of understanding went through her eyes. "I see. Omnipresence?"

"Yup." I confirmed.

She nodded, sighing. "I can see how that would make it impossible to actually focus your entire being in any human form. But what of those two lesser Divine forms?"

"Humanoids." I promptly replied, which visibly pleased her. "But… Well, the first more than the second, considering the second's nature."

Radha frowned, looking curious, and I explained with one word she'd understand perfectly.

"Kali."

Radhatwitched, her skin turned blue for a second before she regained control.

"Ah. I understand." she replied with deep sympathy, and with the clear understanding that no more should be asked on that matter.

"Indeed. Though I'm sure you'll get to see the first once I claim my Throne by the side of Azathoth. I'll show off my first form then, which… promise to be memorable, to say the least." I told her, because considering that my nature was enough to stun and deeply affectAzathothon sight… Well.

"Very well then." Radha nodded. "But I wanted to ask-"

I raised a hand. "If it is for your petition to pass a Law that would force all gods to take mortal form, I must respectfully decline."

Radha opened her mouth, but I shook my head. "I understand where you are coming from, and I have no doubt that this request is born from good intentions. However, I have… past experiences with beings trying to impose their wills upon me, which makes me very sensitive to matters of Free Will and the Freedom to live as one wishes. I will gladly support any and all efforts to convince Eldritch Gods to have mortal forms useful to interact safely with mortals, but Iwill notforce anyone into changing themselves intrinsically."

Radha gave me a long look, before her expression softened. "I heard that your rise to godhood was a brutal, bloody event. I take it that this was, if anything, far from the full truth of things?"

I looked at her in the eyes. "I died in battle, in ways each more painful and brutal than the last, over a hundred times."

Radha paled, and I heard several gasps from the Eldritch Goddesses who did not know fully of my past.

I smiled wryly at Rasha. "And make no mistakes, that was thegoodoutcome. Things could have gone much, much worse."

"How can it get worse than a hundred painful deaths?!" exclaimed Radha. "How did you even die so many deaths in the first place?!"

I fell silent… And then mentally sent her some memories of the Hunter's Dream, along with what happened to Father Gascoigne… and the Hunter's Nightmare.

Radha flinched back, a look of horror, awe, pity and more flashing in her eyes as she stared at me.

"So as you can imagine," I muttered grimly. "Forced bodily changes of any kind are a thing I will always stand against, no matter the reason."

I could see the weight of the memories I shared with her pressing down upon her, as she barely even opened her mouth in protest before closing it again.

Instead, she slumped slightly, a saddened but understanding look on her face.

"To think such horrors could exist anywhere…" she muttered. "Such perversion of the beauty of the human form as these…beasts."

Her skin turned vaguely blue for a moment, a quick look of utter rage and hatred flashing on her face before she wrenched control back.

"These beasts… you killed them." she demanded, her expression suddenly that of a grim warrior.

"All of them. Down to all that which caused them to exist in the first place." I confirmed, cold satisfaction clear on my face.

Radha nodded, clearly satisfied by my words. "Good. It has been long since I took up tools of war, but such unholy blasphemy against the forms and souls of Man cannot be allowed to exist."

"On that, we shall forever agree." I said with feelings.

Radha favored me with a smile. "Then I look forward to your reign,Good Hunter. Even if you are not the one who will make my dreams of changing the nature of the Gods come true, I welcome you as a true defender of Humanity all the same."

I smiled back. "You honor me with your words, my lady. Though Idohave something I can help you with."

She raised an eyebrow, even as she began petting the tiger by her side. "Oh?"

"I understand that you lost a great deal of power when you embraced Humanity as you have?" I asked.

She winced slightly. "That is… a sacrifice I do not regret making. Humanity is worth it."

Despite her words, there was old pain there, and I had a feeling that some gods mocked her for weakening herself so much for the sake of mere mortals.

I smiled.

"A wise point of view, and one that few gods would ever accept. But one I can do something about. No Good Deed should go unrewarded, after all!" I said cheerfully.

Radha blinked, quite obviously confused about what I meant… but I didn't let her speak more.

Instead, my eyes flashed, even as my right hand suddenly held a glow from the sudden concentration of more than enough power to easily destroy a world a dozen times over-

And then I sent the sphere of energy straight at Radha.

Her eyes bulged, shock and horror freezing her in place for a second, the unexpected "Betrayal" stunning her in place-

Only for the ball of energy tosinkin her chest instead of exploding.

She froze again, her mouth dropping as understanding and a new reason for her shock fell on her…

And then Radha shone like the brightest of star as she was suddenly elevated from Elder God straight to near Outer God level.

I could feel the Divine Realm she was in shudder and shake from her Ascension, the distant screams of shock of various gods and heavenly beings echoing in the distance, though I made sure her pet tiger by her side wouldn't be harmed.

And then the light show was over, and I was left staring at a heavily panting Radha, who was looking at me with complete awe and shock with bright glowing eyes and hair.

"There!" I said cheerfully. "Now you are back to where you rightfully should be. Do give my best regards to your husband Krishna, and I'll see you again when I start officially acting as the King of the Eldritch!"

And then I closed the portal without even letting her thank me for the impossible miracle I casually gave her.

I turned around, smiling cheerfully to the stunned-looking goddesses around me.

"I think I nailed it, what do you all think?"

Lucy promptly face-palmed.

It took some time for things to calm down after that. Apparently, suddenly elevating a God-Queen of a pantheon back to near Outer God level was a Pretty Big Deal.

To which I replied that said Goddess was a natural ally to me anyway with her views on humanity, and one now very firmly on my side because bluntly speaking… she owed me. She owed me a lot.

Besides, the Hindu pantheon is full of powerful Elder Gods anyway, so they were already considered monsters by the other human pantheons.

And, again: a grateful goddess with a lot of power was a powerful ally to have. When said goddess was the God-Queen of a powerful pantheon, even more so.

Finally, she was an Eldritch Goddess, even as… human… as she had become. Looking out for Eldritch Gods was literally my job, now.

Moreover, it wasn't like she was a threat to me. She was still downright insignificant in comparison to me… and I had conceptual advantages over her that would ensure victory even beyond the difference in power.

Still, I eventually calmed things down, allowing me to refocus on opening the next portal.

Even if Lucy was still mumbling to herself while Aza looked at the whole thing with deep amusement.

The next portal opened showing… the statue of a short human woman. Except that the statue was very much alive, as proven by the way its (or rather, her) gaze immediately focused upon me.

Amala, The First Queen, announced the booklet.

Kass stepped forward, waving at the woman.

"Amala was the first queen in human history, sometime around seven thousand years ago. She made a deal with Ghi- I mean,Radhato save her people from a plague. In turn, Radha turned her into an eternal statue to forever watch over her people and all that came after her. This is largely believed to be the event that led to Radha's obsession."

Kass paused, then looked at Amala. "We have given her understanding of several modern languages, but you'll have to introduce her to various modern concepts and new technologies. Nonetheless, she is charismatic and skilled in all that comes with managing a nation. Given time, she might own her own business empire."

Lucy perked up. I could almost see the way she was mentally screaming in joy at the thought of no longer being the go-to CEO having to deal with idiots all the time.

"Aeon-" she spoke up, but I stopped her with a chuckle. "I know, Lucy. I know."

Kass sent us a confused look, but I shook my head. "Don't worry about it, just Lucy seeing freedom from idiocy in front of her and being very happy about it." I joked, before refocusing on Amala.

Kass, visibly still confused, nonetheless kept going, ignoring the half guilty, half relieved look Lucy sent the small stone woman.

"As she gave her soul to Radha, she will feel honor-bound to obey you as Radha 'gave' her to you. Given the time that has passed, she's not upset that her nation is gone, just that no records of it exist. Perhaps you can help her find the ruins?"

Yog caught my eye, and sent me a mental message.

'Amala is short for modern times, at under five feet. Yet she's disturbingly combat-capable if you didn't know she was a former warrior-queen.'

I looked back at Amala, who bowed deeply now that all the focus was on her.

"Being a queen, or a king, is not easy. Forgive me if it sounds insolent, but would you like an advisor?" she said with a surprisingly respectful and humble voice for a former warrior-queen.

Then again, 7000 years was a long time.

"I'm curious, what did you do during those seven millenia?" I asked.

"I served my lady however I could, my Lord. Sometimes I served as a messenger or diplomat to various nations and gods. Other times, I served as a warrior and teacher. As long as I could be of service, I was glad to help." she replied calmly.

"And the fact that Radha gave you to an unknown deity after all this time does not anger you?" I questioned.

She fell silent for a moment, visibly thinking about it, before answering.

"When I gave her my soul, I did so gladly for the sake of my people. Even as my nation eventually fell, I did not regret it. The empires of mortals rise and fall, it is in their nature, for mortals change, and so do their nations. The descendants of my people live in new nations and with new cultures, but they live on all the same. That is enough for me. Thus, I served my Lady with loyalty, for she gave me what I sought: my people free and able to live on."

She put a hand over her chest.

"That she now gives my services to another is logical, for she seeks to honor you, and by doing so gain your favor. Through this, she hopes that you will help her accomplish her dreams, and stand as a firm ally she can count on throughout the passage of time. It is natural for Rulers to offer gifts of value to one another when they seek peace and alliances, this is no different. That I was chosen to be gifted to you, King of the Eldritch, greatest of all the gods, shows how much she valued me… and how much hope she has for you to become a trusted ally." She finished calmly, her tone of voice matter of fact.

I looked at her for a long moment.

There was the possibility of her being a spy instead, since seven thousand years of loyalty didn't just disappear instantly, but I hadseenRadha before this. Both Amala and Radha were honest with their desires, and this was exactly as Amala put it: a genuine gift meant to show honor to another god.

"I saw Radha just before you as a matter of fact." I revealed, her eyes widening at my words. "I was not willing to back her desire to forcibly turn all gods into human gods… But I did offer her my own gift." I grinned at her. "I turned her back into a near Outer God level deity."

For the first time, Amala's calm facade shattered, a look of shock spreading on her stone face… or as much as was possible in her case. Her emotions however were clear as day to my empathic senses.

"You… Truly? Just like that?" she blurted out, her more composed nature breaking under the ridiculousness of what I revealed.

"Just like that." I said with amusement. "And speaking of doing miracles… I am far more adept at the magical arts than Radha. Which means I can do things like this."

I extended my right arm through to the portal, putting my hand on her shoulder.

Amala stared in shock as her stone body turned back to flesh and blood, a wave of colors spreading from the point of contact until herentire bodywas fully human once more.

"You are still immortal." I revealed. "But now you will truly be human. Wounds will heal in mere seconds, and no disease will afflict you… but you will taste, and feel, again. All the foods and drinks will once again be yours to enjoy, as will the joy of the warmth of the sun upon your skin. As God of Humanity, I will not accept into my service someone doomed to enjoy nothing but a fraction of what human life has to offer… So here you are, now free to live in full once more."

Amala stared in shock at her body, blinking rapidly, before she slowly, hesitantly, reached out with one trembling hand to touch her own skin.

At the feeling of warm flesh and blood, tears fell down her eyes, a look of purest awe on her face.

"I had forgotten what it was like tofeel." She whispered.

I smiled gently. The fact that she looked so similar to a certain character from another multiverse was a surprise, but by no means an unwelcome one.

"I will gladly welcome you as one of my servants, Amala. There are things that you must learn, much you must be taught… But for now, I will leave you alone for a time, as I have a feeling that you could use some privacy to enjoy your new state of existence."

She looked up at me with tears-filled eyes. "I… my Lord…"

I shook my head, still as gentle as before. "Later, Amala. For now, this time is for you alone."

I stepped back, nodding respectfully at her once. "See you soon, Amala."

At those words Amala took a deep breath, wiped away her tears, and then bowed even more deeply than the first time. "Farewell, my Lord. I will be at your service as soon as you wish to call upon me."

Then she stepped back, and I closed the portal.

Lucy sent a deeply sympathetic look at the place where the portal was. "Poor girl. I'm glad that you did that, I can't imagine how much of her humanity she had lost being stuck as a living statue."

"Yeah. It's not Radha's fault, she probably did the best she could do at the time with her limited understanding of both magic and humanity, but I'm still very glad I did that too. Immortality should be a gift, a blessing which allows one to experience all the wonders that Reality has to offer. Not a curse, no matter how well-intentioned, reducing you to less than what you were meant to be." I said softly.

I shook my head and sent a smile at Yog.

"Thank you, by the way, for coming up with this list of people to meet. This has been a fascinating experience so far."

Then I turned to Kass, and smiled at her too. "And thank you for going around and helping set this all up."

Both goddesses smiled warmly. "You're welcome." cheerfully said Yog, even as Kass' smile turned somewhat guilty. "I had… reasons of my own to do this." she pointed out, referencing her twin daughters.

"Even so." I replied to her with another smile, before refocusing on the booklet, while Aza sent them both a thumb up and a grin behind my back.

Of course, 360 vision kinda made that a moot point, but hey, it was cute, so I won't point that out.

The next portal opened, and Aza immediately gasped and smiled brightly. "Tia"ugasa!"

The woman looking remarkably familiar to yet another Fate Grand Order character smiled cheerfully back at Aza with a kind of careless attitude that spoke of deep personal familiarity.

"Hey, Aunty!" she waved.

Then her gaze turned to me, and I felt distinctly scrutinized.

Tia"ugasa, the Surrogate, announced the booklet.

"So, Aunty Aza loves you? Good, maybe she'll learn to relax some instead of always being focused on working herself to the bone. Ever since her Avatar's planet was destroyed, she really went off the deep end." bluntly stated the woman.

Aza flinched. "Tia!"

The woman's gaze didn't even waver. "You're being an idiot, Aunty. That you grieve is one thing, that you hurt yourself another entirely. And both you and your avatar have been idiots for a long time. Too long if you ask me."

Aza sputtered, even as the goddesses around me shifted in discomfort at the way Tia talked to the greatest deity in existence.

Tia's gaze locked with mine, a silent battle of will going for a moment before a shadow of a smile spread across Tia's lips as I didn't show a hint of weakness or discomfort.

"That's a whole lot of power that you've got in those pretty eyes of yours. To say nothing of you somehow fixing Aunty's broken planet and people with ease. That caught the attention of a lot of people, you know. Messing with life, death, time and space so perfectly at the same time just isn't something anyone can do… in fact, pretty much nobody could have done it. And you, a complete unknown, did it. And got Aunty's heart in the process."

Tia kept staring at me for a moment, before nodding. "You hurt her, I don't care how much power you're packing in those eyes of yours, I'll make you regret ever being born from whatever dark pits you crawled out of. Makes her happy though, and I wouldn't mind telling you things she'll never dare to, like that one time where she-"

"Tia!" screamed Aza with a bright, burning face.

The woman merely laughed, though her eyes never left me, a strange mix of friendliness and deep danger radiating from her.

"Come on, Aunty! It's the first time in eons that I can actually poke fun at you about, and with, a lover! Like all the Hells I'm going to pass that up!" she exclaimed, a wide smirk on her face.

"Hmm, well I certainly wouldn't mind hearing more, Aza is just adorable when she's blushing." I said with a deceptively light voice, even as my expression clearly showed a great deal of amusement.

Just for Tia though, I mentally sent her a much more serious message. 'Noted. I'm actually glad thatsomeonehere is suspicious of the highly powerful god coming out of nowhere. I was starting to wonder if anyone here understood the meaning of Intrigue, cunning and manipulation.'

"Aeon!" exclaimed Aza with a look of mock horrified betrayal, which made me and the other goddesses laugh.

For a second though, Tia's gaze lingered on me. 'Too many of them are blinded by the hope of change that you bring. They'd rather gamble than play it safe.'

"Sorry Aza, but you can't dangle someone knowing your deepest, darkest secrets before me and not expect me to go look for the juicy stories!" I said cheerfully.

Aza pouted, which admittedly was such an adorable sight I had to hold back from going there and squeezing the smaller goddess into my arms while babbling about cute things and the need to protect them.

Oh wait, I was already doing that, my body just moved on its own from sheer cuteness overload. Ooops.

"Aeon!" Aza cried out, weakly trying to push me away and just making herself more adorable rather than anything else.

'Yeah, that's about what I figured. Good thing that I'm not evil, or this could have really turned out badly.' I sent back to Tia.

Said woman, unseen by all but me as the attention was on Aza wriggling in my arms, blushing brightly, smirked for a second.

'So you say.' she shot back, and I almost laughed at the sheer cheekiness contained along with those words. Even if the underlying emotions were far more serious and deadly.

Still, eventually order was brought back, even if Aza looked rather ruffled and still blushing bright red, and more than one person had grins on their faces.

Kass stepped forward, a slight grin on her own face as she looked at Tia.

"Tia is a… strange case." she began, even as Tia flipped her the bird for her words. "There was once a mortal woman that gained endless life through studying eldritch rituals. She grew to know many Eldritch, even befriending them. But her rituals had robbed her of her ability to safely have children. Long story short, Azathoth became a surrogate for her child. It's less intimate than it sounds, as Aza just pulled the fertilized egg cell and willed it to infancy. That infant was Tia."

Tia now waved cheerfully.

"She isn't powerful by our standards, but she is immune to all adverse side effects of being near eldritchs, and she knows more about the cosmos than most gods, while being far more street smart than Outer Gods."

You don't say, I thought while looking thoughtfully at said woman, who I noticed had a sword by her side, with her left hand never straying far from it.

I had a feeling it was no coincidence that she came to this meet and greet armed. Quite the opposite.

Oblivious to the way that Tia came here ready for a fight to the death, Kass continued.

"Tia loves Azathoth like an Aunt, so she'll most likely start calling you Uncle. As long as Azathoth is happy, she'll like you and even obey you. Just listen to what she says when you ask her about something."

I held back a snort. She'll obey me in as much as it would let her test me, while always being on the lookout for betrayal or hidden goals. That girl did not trust me, and while I believed that she was willing to do so eventually, it was going to take an Age to get to that state.

Honestly, I was finding it hard to not jump in joy. Finally! Someone with a functioning paranoia! Someone willing to not just casually accept the unknown and very powerful god that came out of nowhere on his good word!

It was taking everything I had not to go hug the woman with tears in my eyes!

My Yharnamite instincts were finally calming down from wondering when the other shoe was going to drop!

Hallelujah, someonesane.

I could hardly believe my eyes.

"Please take good care of me, Uncle!" cheerfully shouted Tia while bowing, even as I saw the way she was ready to move into a defensive position in a blink of an eye.

"I look forward to getting to know you." I replied earnestly.

That earned me a bright smile from both Aza and Tia, with the second almost meaning it, too.

Honestly, it has been so long since I met someone willing to stab me at a moment's notice, I was almost feeling nostalgic…

"Well, I won't take more of your time." said Tia, whose' gaze was only outwardly friendly. "I imagine that you have a lot of work to do, after all!"

And ifthatwasn't a subtle dig at the potential nature of said "work", I was a blind fool unable to see a shining star in front of my eyes.

"I'm always happy to see you, Tia." Aza shot back, quite clearly unwilling to make her think that she wasn't welcome… and quite clearly missing the actual meaning of her words.

"It's fine. I'm sure we'll see each other soon, Aunty. I want to know all the juicy details, after all!" Tia said with a mischievous smirk, making Aza blush… even if I could tell the real reason was that she wanted to keep a close eye on me.

Honestly, that girl… She would make afantasticHunter.

Making her not want to stab me first was going to be a challenge, though. If an interesting one, that was for sure.

Still, farewells were given, and looking around I think that the only one who noticed anything out of the ordinary was Lucy, though the slightly confused look on her face made it clear she didn't truly understand what went down.

I figured it made sense, considering that she wasn't a natural warrior like we were.

For people like us however, the truth of where we stood was very, very clear.

Either way, she was definitely someone I was going to enjoy spending time with.

Even if it is just so I can rant to someone about stupid shit, someone who wouldgetme.

The portal closing, I then turned the page of the booklet and opened the next portal-

And stared.

Lucy blinked.

"Well that one is certainly not like the others." she muttered, a bit wide-eyed.

To be fair, having a giganticEldritch Godliterally burst out of a moon was certainly quite the sight.

Tlaghnunshanuun, The Spawn in the Moon, announced the booklet.

I turned and gave a look to Kass, who stepped forward with a slightly amused grin.

"Tlagh is just what we call this one, an orphaned eldritch egg that is at the center of a Moon. Any moon, actually. It exists outside of normal Space-Time and will hatch in one lunar satellite or another. You can pick which, Earth's, Dysonomia, one of Jupiter's, or somewhere else entirely. I'd pick Mercury's Caduceus. Don't worry, no one will miss it."

I gave her a look.

Kass ignored it, and kept going.

"If you're up to it, you can adopt them (we're not sure if it has a sex yet). Eldritch youngs of this nature are something like having pets and children. Depending on how you raise them, they are more or less likely to heed to you until they reach mental adulthood in a couple hundred of thousand of years."

I blinked. That long? I was pretty sure I could help the kid reach that level alotsooner…

Then again, there was nobody more knowledgeable than me in all of Existence as far as I could tell, so that made sense.

Certainly, Yog wasn't even anywhere near my level on that subject, as it turned out.

Kass kept going, looking curiously at the Eldritch baby bursting out of his moon-cocoon.

"You can use Tlagh to terrorize or destroy the Earth, or maybe let him use Saturn's rings as a playground. This little one has been waiting for a long time to hatch, so they'll be very powerful. Truly a baby Outer God. It would probably help as practice for when you start having your own."

Aza blushed a bit at the idea of having children with me, and I gave her a grin that deepened her blush before I looked back at the kid.

Mind you, I could tell that this was actually a portal to an alternate timeline, since the actual kid was still firmly in his moon-cocoon.

And I had little doubts about what Oedon wanted me to say here and now, so I didn't even need my True Self whispering in the back of my mind to know my next words.

"I'll do it. Oedon would jump at the chance anyway, and I do need some experience raising Eldritch baby gods." I declared.

Aza smiled brightly, along with most of the goddesses present.

Lucy smiled as well, but she also began muttering about me and a Kaiju going around on a field trip terrorizing the Universe, and seemed to tremble at the very thought.

I held back a huff. We would only wreck evil assholes who definitely earned it, I didn't see any reason to be alarmed!

"Well, that's great news to hear. Though please try to be responsible with them, okay?" said Yog.

I nodded at her, smiling wryly. "Hey, I raised one adopted kid before! And she isn't going around wrecking solar systems or anything!"

"Sherryisa sweet-heart." admitted Lucy fondly.

"Exactly. I'll be fine." I said confidently.

Even if Itotallywas going to take my new kid around to wreck evil at some point. There's nothing quite as good for family bonding as smiting people whoreallyearned it.

Lucy still sent me a wary look, but I ignored it in favor of opening the next portal.

… Who was some kind of giant island-dragonbeing, because why not.

Utftangshashut, The Island That Is, announced the booklet, which was… fair?

It most certainly was a thing that existed, yes.

"Tides and tidings, O conqueror of the Center's Center. I seek rest upon your homeworld, my sovereign. You may seek it with me if you desire." spoke the booming voice of the dragon-island.

The portal froze, and Kass smiled at me.

"For reasons known only to himself-" "And me!" smugly said Yog. "-the Great Old One known as Utft is taking both a vacation on Earth and in the form of a very large dragon. He's a bit of a pervert if that helps you understand the 'Center's Center' line better. He doesn't mind if anyone… does it on his back, just expect lewd jokes and jabs after the deed is done."

Lucy and I stared at her, then at the island dragon, then back at her.

"Why…?" I wondered. "Why would anyone…?" I waved at the dragon.

Kass shrugged. "Tropical islands are romantic? Or so I heard."

I… couldn't argue with that, but seriously, on the back of an actual living creature? A full-blown God?

"Eldritch Gods are weirdos." Lucy bluntly declared, making me flinch by sheer association.

Shub blinked at her, looking confused enough to speak up. "Aren't you the lover of an Eldritch God?"

Lucy glanced at her with a dry look. "Which means I know exactly what I'm talking about."

"Let's just… move on. I don't want to imagine anything involving a perverted dragon God and sex anymore." I groaned.

This wasn't Highschool DxD, for goodness' sake!

"Right." Kass accepted with an amused grin. "While he can be used for Deep Sea expeditions if needed, he would rather be used as an island. Given enough time, he can cause his back to become like a tropical island complete with forests, sandy beaches, and his spine as a little mountain. He makes for a great hideout and vacation spot, as he'll be impossible to spot on Radars, satellite images, etc. His form can only be seen, not detected unless he actually wants to be found by mortals."

Kass looked back to the Great Old One, nodding in his direction. "He'll wake up every ten to twenty years to feast on some large sea animals, but we should be able to shield any buildings on his back by then, perhaps even the entire environment. He can also be used as a mobile base of command if a war of any sort breaks out. He may be on vacation, but he's still a very powerful Great Old One if push comes to shove."

Her smile turned slightly embarrassed.

"He's also under the misconception that mortals think Godzilla is real and he's the reason for that. We'll leave ruining his parade, or not, up to you. Of course, if mortals do start seeing sightings of him, they probably would mistake him for Godzilla…" she trailed off.

I stared at the dragon-god-island, before asking the most important question.

"Can he shoot energy blasts out of his mouth?"

Kass blinked, even as Yog began to laugh in the background.

"What?"

I looked at her in the eyes. "Can he shoot energy blasts out of his mouth?"

"Hmm… Probably?" hesitantly replied Kass, visibly bewildered. "If he concentrates his magic, then… yes, probably."

I nodded. "Good enough. Well, if the Masquerade over Humanity ever breaks, I'll make sure that Japanese people get to see him. That should be all he needs to actually become Godzilla for Humanity."

Kass had quite obviously no idea what to say to that, though Yog was still laughing, Lucy was looking at the sky as if begging for a miracle, and Shub was muttering in confusion over who was Godzilla.

Aza, at least, seemed vaguely amused as well, so maybe she actually knew what Godzilla was? I swear, if I didn't already know her limits, I'd be almost suspicious that she deliberately created the big guy to one day serve as Godzilla…

Well, either way.

I unfroze the portal, and looked at Utft.

"Just to confirm, you wouldn't mind serving as a Command base for my interests upon the Earth?" I asked.

The Eldritch God gave me a long look. "Do you expect a war, my lord?"

"I always plan for the worst case scenario." I replied. "And Earth is an important world for me. I wish to ensure it is kept safe."

Utft stayed silent, before bowing his head. "We would need to talk specifics, but if that is what you wish of me, I will not deny your wish."

I smiled gratefully. "Thank you. I have some ideas on how to better defend the Earth, and you might be able to help me out. I appreciate it."

"Then I am glad to be of use, Great Lord." respectfully replied the Great Old One.

"I'll leave you to yourself for now. There are many things I must still learn and do before I can focus on this project, so I bid you farewell for now." I said politely.

"Until we meet again, Great Lord."

I closed the portal, satisfied.

"What are you plotting, now?" wondered Lucy.

I chuckled. "A local base for Project Aeons."

Her eyes widened, before narrowing thoughtfully.

"I see… Yes, I can see why that would work."

The local Eldritch Goddesses gave me curious look, especially at the name of the project, but I ignored them.

I'd get to it soon enough.

Now then, with that servant done, time for the next one. I could tell that the number of them left was under a dozen now, so we were nearing the end of the booklet… though that meant we were coming closer to the section involving those people that Azathoth was hesitant in introducing to me.

Still, I wasn't there yet. For now, I opened the next portal-

"Oh boy." muttered Lucy.

-and very much agreed with her.

It wasn't everyday you saw agigantic worm/dragon-like Outer Godbreathing Life upon a dead world, after all.

Aftlhaangunaga, The Alpha and the Omega, announced the booklet.

The worm-like Outer God stared with satisfaction as life spread out across the world before it, before turning its massive head towards the comparatively tiny portal.

Despite the size difference, I could feel the weight of its gaze settle upon me.

"I have been Great Azathoth's unbiased axe for ages, felling worlds like trees. Now I shall be your gavel, Supreme One. You alone may stave off the breath of Life and Death." it declared, its psychic voice echoing across the stars.

Kass swallowed, but stepped forward, shuddering only slightly as the Outer God's gaze settled on her for a second before going back to me.

"This is Aftlha, an Outer God of great and terrible power. Mortals don't know much about them because Aftlha has no interest in cults or worship. They have dutifully been doing their jobs since before most Great Old Ones existed. That duty is to feast upon dying and dead worlds. On the dying, this puts the planet's life out of its misery as Aftlha feeds upon the last of the life force and the feelings of desperate lifeforms. On the dead worlds, it unleashes some of that lifeforce upon the surface, releasing decaying energies on the stagnate worlds for the environments to absorb as well. Their breath forces life and all of its requirements to form, as it is a refined and controlled form of Genesis while also being its anti-thesis, forming a cosmic cycle of life and death."

She took a deep breath. "However, Aftlha will now take your judgment as the final word on whether a world shall die or be reborn. Aftlha has been eternally loyal and faithful to Azathoth since the beginning of Existence, so its decision to take your word over hers is highly unusual. Perhaps Azathoth secretly gave them permission to do so? Or perhaps they know something we don't? Either way, Aftlha knows most of the universe very well due to all their supereons of traveling and will gladly take you anywhere you desire, and even help you try to remake dead worlds that you would have liked to see."

I looked at Aftlha, myeyespiercing through the outer layers of Reality to see theTruthbeneath.

I blinked, and smiled. Ah, Isee.

"It's about what I did for the world of Aza's avatar, isn't it?" I remarked.

Kass blinked, but Aftlha merely did the mental equivalent of a smile.

"You gave my Queen the world and people that she had lost, where I could not. I have failed my duty where it mattered most, but my most shameful failure you resolved with ease. I would be most grateful if I could learn to do the same, one day, so that never again will I fail my duties."

"I understand. Fear not, then. The path to manipulating Reality as I did will be long and require hard work from you… But I dare say that will not be a problem for someone as dedicated as you are. I will help. And one day, if such a day ever comes, you will be able to perform your duty by yourself." I answered, which seemed to please them from the psychic joy they radiated.

"Then I am twice in your debt, Supreme One." They bowed their massive head, before looking back at me. "Duty calls me to move on from this world. But if you ever need me, call, and I shall answer." They swore.

"I will." I replied, and with one last bow they turned away from both the portal and the newly flourishing world and, in a great explosion of impossible lights, they opened a portal to another location across the universe.

I watched them go, before closing the portal.

"Well, that was interesting." I mused.

"You just gained the loyalty of a being capable of casually destroying worlds, that's one way to put it." said Yidhra, with a measure of amused sarcasm.

"All in a day's work." I said cheerfully, before opening the next portal.

I blinked, because yet again I was face to face with a recognizable character.

Kai'sa, Daughter of the Void, announced the booklet.

The young woman scrutinized me for a long moment through bright purple eyes, before speaking up.

"I see that we have indeed been both touched by the Eldritch. I feel hints of the Void upon you, though how much I cannot tell… That's a first for me. Yet that we were both humans, and became so much more, willingly or not, cannot be denied."

This time, Yog stepped forward, as she looked at Kai'sa with a small smile.

"This is Kai'sa, originally born Kaisa of Earth. Her and her people lived in a city that worshiped Mist and Darkness, the daughters of Azathoth and Goddesses of the Void, also known as the Abyss, the natural home of Eldritch Gods. After a grand ritual was performed, she and her entire city were transported into the Void, where they knelt and swore loyalty to Empress Bel'veth, who rules over the lesser Voidlings of the Abyss."

Yog waved at the strange organic armor upon her body. "One day, Kai'sa ended up going outside of the city, and was attacked by a Voidling. She killed it, but its body merged with hers, resulting in the fusion you see before you. Ever since, Kai'sa became a Huntress, hunting down the wilder and more destructive of the lifeforms of the Void to protect both her people and those of the universe."

"A Huntress." I mused, eyes narrowing thoughtfully at her.

"Officially, I serve Empress Bel'veth." Said Kai'sa. "But I… always was a very independent person, and as a result we are more allies of convenience than anything else. You need not worry, she is more than likely going to be pleased that I'm not her problem anymore if I serve you." she said wryly.

I snorted. "That would imply that you become my problem, which would imply thatyouare a problem."

Kai'sa stayed silent for a moment. "There are various beliefs and philosophies in the Abyss, about how we should interact with those beyond it. I always stood as someone who believed that the Void need not actively seek to welcome more beings from the material universe within the Abyss. If people wish to worship our goddesses and become one with the Void I will not refuse, but we should not aggressively impose our way of life upon others. Not everyone agrees with such views. Many think that the blessings of the Void should be shared, seeing it as a sort of moral imperative. I disagreed… loudly. This made me quite a few enemies."

That was… quite the story. A concerning one, because I really didn't want to deal with a Void Crusade or whatever it is they would call it.

"And what do your goddesses say on the matter?" I questioned.

Aza flinched slightly, and the look on Kai'sa face told me I wasn't going to like the answer.

"Unfortunately, the Goddesses are in one of their… unwelcoming period, where they fight each other with all their might. As such, no one can survive even coming close to where they battle each other to question them about their views on such a matter." she answered me.

I stared at her, unamused.

"So what you are saying is that a bunch of hot-blooded religious warhawks are rattling their sabers and no one in position of authority seems to be able to quell things?" I questioned very dryly.

She winced.

"Not all are encouraging such extreme measures. Many simply speak of greater efforts of proselytization, of letting the glories of the Void be known far and wide, letting the tales of our glories bring people to us. But… Yes, that is essentially the situation."

"Right." I said flatly. "That is, most certainly, a problem."

I paused, then frowned. "And what of the Empress?"

Kai'sa's face turned carefully neutral. "She is standing above the debates raging around for the time being, but she certainly does stand for at least some efforts done to spread the glory of the Void. What forms those efforts will take is not for me to know."

In other words, the Empress is at least not completely against a certain heavy-handed strategy in spreading said "Glory of the Void."

Wonderful.

"I take it that you already did everything you could to try and calm things down?" I asked.

"And then some." she agreed with a tired sigh. "I am a respected figure among my people, as few if any warrior is a better Hunter than I am, and we of the Void respect martial prowess immensely. But even that can only go so far, especially as the voices loudest for active military efforts are backed by powerful figures and warriors in their own right. I already lost count of the numbers of duels I had to fight lately, all intended to make me lose face. Even if I won them all, they do little beyond helping my voice continue to be heard. I… I worry for the future, my Lord." she said earnestly.

"I see." I turned towards Aza. "Did you know about this?"

She grimaced.

"That is one thing I've been keeping an eye on, lately, yes. The Abyss has been growing more active in its political goals for some time, and that has made quite a lot of people worried. Combined that with my daughters being… preoccupied, and we end up with this situation."

She sighed. "The fact my daughters fight all the time isn't helping, as battles and war are considered almost holy for the denizens of the Void as a result. With all the troubles that can come from such a mindset when not properly channeled."

I nodded, before looking back at Kai'sa. "Alright. I thank you for bringing these matters to my attention, and I'll do my best to try and work on fixing things as soon as possible. As it is, there are some other matters I must quickly address as well, so I must ask: Can you keep things from escalating for some time? I am new to this reality, and all the political capital I possess right now is tied to Azathoth. Your people's issues aren't something I can quickly resolve, but if I have some time to work on fixing other matters I'll be able to come to your people as a God with a weight to his word that will have to be considered. Do whatever you have to to stall. If you need other warriors to stand by you, I can give them to you. I want to pay personal attention to this matter when I am the most prepared to resolve it with as little bloodshed as possible."

Kai'sa's face twisted into a grimace at my words, but credit where credit is due she didn't try to argue.

Instead, her face turned into a look of focus, and she stayed silent for a moment, visibly thinking deeply, before nodding once.

"If you can send me some people, warriors not afraid to fight, to back me up I can use that to try and keep things from moving forward for some time. It won't work forever, but the weight of powerful warriors combined with that of your name should help me in stalling things out… At least for now." she warns.

I nodded. "Good enough. I can use the opportunity to go talk to Azathoth's daughters, while I'm at it. If your people would listen to anyone, it would be those two."

A look of desperate hope flashed through her purple eyes. "Please. I'll do all I can. Just please, hurry."

I paused, and gave her a reassuring smile. "You don't need to worry. If need be, I have… a secret card to play that will force your people to stay at peace, if need be. I'd just rather not use that because it would be brute-forcing peace, rather than properly bringing it about."

She blinked, a flash of worry crossing her face, but I shook my head. "I won't harm anyone, but… Well. As you noticed, I do have a connection to the Void. If I need to, I can call upon it to ensure your people will take my word as if they were from your Goddesses, it just… that will definitely create some religious upheaval of a different kind if I use that card."

She stared at me for a long moment, before nodding. "Very well. I will wait for your people to arrive. Just… Please, help me, before tragedy strikes."

The portal closed, and I let out a sigh. "Well, that certainly was a concerning meeting."

"For what it's worth, I think you did great, Beloved." Aza said gently.

"You really think you can use your powers to prevent a potential Void Crusade?" questioned Yidhra.

My eyes turned a deepblackas I called upon a part of me that remained ever patient, waiting for its time to show.

I pulled it back, ignoring the instinctive shudder in the goddesses around me at the mere hint of that form appearing.

"I can." I said firmly.

The goddesses gave me long looks, but Azathoth merely smiled, accepting my answer as Truth.

Which it was. The problem was that I just might conceptually take Mist and Darkness' entire dimension away from them if I ever released that form within the Abyss.

Which would be… awkward, to say the least.

Anyway, that problem aside, I decided to open the next portal. Hopefully it wouldn't come with a warning about a potential war about to claim parts of Reality.

Azathoth's eyes widened at the sight of thewomanon the other side, her entire body freezing in place, even her breathing stopping for a moment.

To be fair, said woman was no better. The moment her eyes found Azathoth, she froze as well, a powerful storm of emotions flooding her eyes with tears as she visibly struggled for words… and failed to actually speak any.

Xada Hgla, the Avatar of Azathoth, announced the Booklet.

"Xada." whispered Azathoth, her own eyes tearing up as she spoke that word like a prayer.

Xada swallowed, her eyes blinking rapidly as she tried, and mostly failed, to bat away her tears. "My… My Lady." she choked out.

She slowly collapsed to her knees, looking away with an expression of deep shame. "I'm… I'm sorry." she choked. "I… I couldn't… After my homeworld's destruction, I just…"

"No! Don't say that." Aza outright lunged forward, wrapping the taller woman firmly in her arms, squeezing her as if she was going to disappear. "Don't say that. I'm the greatest deity in all of existence. It was my responsibility to watch over your people, and Ifailed. You did nothing wrong."

Xada's entire body shook. "My lady… I don't… You never-"

"I failed you." Azathoth spoke brokenly, the sheer grief and guilt in her voice almost a physical force. "I loved you, and I failed to keep you and your people safe. You were right to blame me-"

*Slap.*

Every goddess around me inhaled sharply as Xada slapped Azathoth, a look of pained grief and guilt on her face.

And yet, the anger on her face won out, and Azathoth stared in shock at Xada.

"Don't." hissed Xada softly. "I know you. I know you perhaps more than almost anybody else in existence. And I know your limits. There was nothing you could have done. A single world is so very small to you… I know that. I'm your Avatar, Iknowthat. You could no more foresee the destruction of this one specific world than you could fix its destruction. So don't-" she choked on her emotions, but valiantly kept going. "Don't blame yourself. I'm the one who was meant to work on a smaller level of existence. These were my people. I should have been able to foresee that bastard's coming. I should have…"

"Enough."

Xada froze as Aza spoke with more authority that I had yet to see in her, even the goddesses around me freezing in place by the weight of that single word.

For a long moment, Aza stared at Xada with a storm of emotions, before a sad, self-depreciative smile crossed her lips. "Tia was right. As always, really. We're both idiots, and we both need to move on. Yes, tragedy struck… but life did not end. Your people didn't end. We could have both done so much more, but we lost ourselves in our guilt. We were just too blind to see it."

She took a deep breath, before getting on her feet, helping a stunned-looking Xada to do the same. "But no more. My beloved brought a miracle, and we can make things right, now. We will make things right."

She fixed Xada with a stern look, though I could feel the underlying fears and doubts still bubbling beneath.

"Won't we?" she asked.

Xada said nothing for a long moment, just staring in wide-eyed silence at Azathoth… before her expression softened immensely.

"I'd forgotten how beautiful you could be." she whispered, making Azathoth blush brightly.

Then Xada's eyes left Azathoth and fixed themselves upon me, and a second storm of emotions crossed her face… before she gently broke away from Azathoth and walked up to me.

"You're the one who claimed my Lady's heart." she said softly, but with quiet strength. "The one who brought my people back from the brink."

"I am." I replied.

She looked into my eyes, gazing into what lay hidden within them.

A look of awe fell upon her features, followed by a look of deep understanding.

"Aaaah… I see. Of course… No wonder she fell for you." she whispered, before she smiled.

"My name is Xada-Hgla. I am the sole Avatar of the goddess we both love… And I owe you a debt I can never hope to fully repay, my Lord. I will never betray my Lady… But otherwise, you may askanythingout of me, and I will obey with a smile." she declared firmly.

I gazed at the woman before me for a long moment. While right now she looked like a certain character from Fate Grand Order, her true nature was that of an insectoid species who dedicated themselves utterly to the worship of Azathoth.

And Xada was loyal to Azathoth. Zealously so.

Though after what I did, she was very, very loyal to me too, now.

Ironically, saving Aza's people truly made me a lot of friends, and earned me the eternal love and loyalty of not one, but two women.

So with that being said…

I smiled.

"I have but one order to give you right now, and I will not tolerate it to see it refused. Am I clear?"

Xada straightened, a look of utter devotion and determination on her face.

"Speak your will, my lord, and I will see it done, no matter what it may be."

The goddesses around me shifted in discomfort at the genuine truth of those words, and I could see Aza bit her lips in the background before her face smoothed itself out of any emotions.

Then I spoke firmly, even as my eyes twinkled.

"Then after this meeting is done, you and Azathoth are to spend time together reconnecting and speaking all that has to be said between you."

Xada froze, even as Azathoth gasped in the background, tears of joy filling her eyes.

I smiled gently at Xada. "She missed you, Xada. Missed you more than any word of any mortal language can express. I want to see her happy, and your happiness will be her happiness. So talk to her. Reconnect with her. Cry together over all that has been lost, and all that has been regained. And only when you are both done, when no more words remain weighing down your hearts from being unspoken, then and only then do I give you permission to leave her side. Am I clear, Xada?"

The woman remained frozen in place for a long moment, before tears filled her eyes and she bowed deeply.

"It will be as you say, my lord." she choked out, even as she telepathically sent me an emotion-laden 'Thank you.'

I nodded. "Then rise, and take your rightful place by her side."

She straightened, giving me one last look full of gratitude and then turned to walk back towards Azathoth, who welcomed her with opened arms and a tight hug.

I smiled warmly.

Now,thiswas why I became a god in the first place. To create and ensure moments like these, where good people could hug one another and smile as they faced the future with hearts free of fear and pain.

So that the Dreams of Paradise that each person arboured in their hearts would be free to shine, and illuminate Existence with their beauty.

For all that I have gone through, and all that I would go through in the future… moments like these made it all worth it.

Turning away from where Aza and Xada were speaking quietly to each other, I looked down on the next page of the booklet-

And froze.

What the hell is Red Sonja doing fighting Eldritch beings in this reality?!

Damn you, My True Self! I know this is all your fault somehow!DAMN YOU!

The laughter in the back of my mind made me curse all the louder in the privacy of my thoughts.

Truly, Saitama was the wisest of us both, because he didn't have to deal with this nonsense!

Curse you, my foolish younger self! I should have gone the path of an overpowered mortal as well!Curse youuuuuuu!

A.N: Alright! Here is the next chapter in which we continue the events of Love Azathoth!

Firstly, I'm aware that Radha and Kali are two different deities, but since Hindu gods are seemingly interconnected to each other in descending order of Divine Avatars or something (I'm not an expert), I decided to show that Aeon calling on Kali's name would be enough to make the Head Goddess of the Pantheon…twitchy. And yes, Aeon just casually elevated her back to near Outer God level without breaking a sweat. To be fair, for him, that really is just a bare fraction of his power, so insignificant that he grew near-infinitely stronger a mere second later anyway. Aeon's kind of just complete bullshit that way.

Secondly, yes I turned Amala into an expy of our Beloved "UmU!" Empress. I mean, really: A) They are both small, B) They are both Warrior-Queen/Empress, C) They are both the kind that would gladly make a deal with a Goddess for the sake of their beloved people, D) They both are noted to not be saddened by the fall of their kingdom/empire, because as long as their people keep on living, their kingdom will live on (a point of view shared by essentially every roman emperors in fgo.)

However, no, Amala will not use the great power of theUmU. Mostly because only the real UmU can call upon such Eldritch powers, so I'm afraid we will all have to wait until the real UmU arrives to see such glory in-story.

Thirdly, Tia is going to be a fun character to write interacting with Aeon, because she's one of the few characters he can go to to complain about Eldritch nonsense and stupid shit he'll have to deal with. Here she is, expecting Aeon to secretly be evil or something, only for him to show up and spend his time complaining about why, for the love of all that is sane, is everyone casually accepting of him? The completely unknown god with enough power to be second to Azathoth only? Poor Aeon's paranoia is going through the fucking roof, even as he despair that everyone isn't giving a single thought about the possibility of him being evil. So Tia was genuinely a deeply needed breath of fresh air. Finally, finally, someone with common sense! Poor girl's not ready for Aeon to go complain to her, though. She's expectingeverythingbut a god ranting about how EASY it is to take over the pantheon, after all! Expect to see those two becoming drinking buddies, with Tia utterly bewildered on how that came about…

Fourthly, yes I made use of League of Legends characters to give some World-building for the Void. Obviously with large differences, but they rather work well as a way for Aeon to have something to deal with that will require some politicking rather than brute force.

As for Xada, an emotional reunion was needed considering her background, and if it gave more reasons for why Aeon and Azathoth are in love, well, all the better.

Poor Aeon though, he became the strongest god in Existence, but he can never be free of his greatest tormentor: himself. For in the far future of Eldritch God-King Aeon, there is only peace, prosperity, and the laughter of Smug Gods throwing entertaining curveballs at God!Aeon to deal with…

There will also be Aeon creatingservantsfor himself soon enough. Speaking of which,if any of you have good ideas for the names of Aeon's creations, as in the people themselves, I'll gladly take any and all of them, because I'm really not the best at naming things.

I'd need seven names for the equivalent of Aeon' Archangels (With one tasked to watch over Life and Death, another with Destiny/Order and Free Will/Chaos, Light and Darkness, Knowledge and Ignorance, Space and Time, Good and Evil, and finally one for Magic and Technology), one for the sentient sword he's going to create out of combining the Burial Blade, The Holy Moonlight Blade and his own power, and any additional names can be used for secondary characters.

Still, with all that being said, I hope you all enjoyed this update! Next time, we get to finish Aeon building up his retinue of servants, while meeting yetmoreEldritch ladies along the way!
