Deku continued his daily store trips as the week dragged on for the students at UA.

He did his best to keep up with the high demand, even visiting Mirio just long enough to drop off some tissues and medication.
By Friday, Deku began to feel drained and slightly light-headed, with mild discomfort in his chest.

Izuku placed the bags on the coffee table, sinking onto the couch with a heavy sigh. He removed his phone from his coat pocket and clicked the group text.

I just wanted to let you know that I was able to get everything

I should bring the bags up in a couple of minutes.

He pressed send and got to work emptying the bags and sorting items.

"I can help with that," Todoroki offered. He sat down next to Izuku with his own phone out.

"You don't have to, I can-"

"Midoriya, you're a little pale. Are you feeling okay?"He asked.

"I'm fine. I guess I'm just a little tired." Izuku replied, offering a faint, reassuring smile.

"Then you should rest. You can leave this to me." Shoto offered.

"But you're already-"

"I was going to take the soup up anyway. I can drop the bags off as I go." Izuku gave a short nod.

"If you're sure. Thanks, Todoroki."Izuku stood and began the journey to his room. He removed his coat, noticing how warm it was inside. He wondered if someone had turned up the heat. Once he reached his dorm, he opened the door, slipped off his shoes, and dropped his coat over his chair before flopping onto his bed.

Izuku closed his eyes, ready to sleep, when he was interrupted by his phone. He let out a soft groan. He pressed the green answer button and held the device to his ear.

"Hello?" he greeted.

"Hey, Izuku, Did I wake you? You sound tired." Mirio asked, a hint of concern in his voice.

"No. I just got in, " Deku replied. "Are you feeling any better?"

"Just now? You're not making this an all day thing, are you? Remember what I said about taking care of yourself." Mirio reminded.

"I know, but they're sick, Mirio. What else can I do? I can't expect them to go out in the condition they're in."

"I understand that Izuku, I do. But you haven't slowed down at all, even between store trips. Do you want me to come over and-"

"You need to rest. We need you to get better. You should stay close to your dorm until you're not dizzy and your fever breaks." Izuku advised. "If you're out there walking around-"

"I'm worried about you. I know adding to your list wasn't the most helpful thing to do. I was calling to thank you for the other day when you brought me the medicine and everything."

"It's not a problem, really. I was already shopping. I told you if you need anything, you can call me anytime. That's what I'm here for."

" I know, Izuku. But you can't do those things for anyone if you get sick too. Promise me you'll at least try to get some sleep." Mirio urged.

"I will. I have to meet Mr. Aizawa at the school tomorrow morning. I'll have Eri with me until lunch. If you're better by then, maybe you could join us." Izuku invited.

"Yeah, I'd love that. If it works out that way. After we drop Eri off, maybe you and I could watch a movie or something?"

"Yeah, if I don't have any shopping to do, It'd be great." Mirio sighed.

"Maybe I'll join you for a shopping trip, then. At least you'll have an extra pair of hands. I'll let you rest, but I'll check in with you later. I love you."

"Love you too." After ending the call, Izuku plugged the phone into his charger, turned onto his side, and closed his eyes.

Maybe sleep was all he needed, Deku thought. He would feel better in time to meet Eri the following day if he could catch up on the sleep he'd lost. He slowly drifted into a much needed slumber.

Izuku woke to a barrage of texts in the group chat.

Uraraka: Can we add more cough drops to the list?

Kirishima: I could use more tissues and something for congestion.

Bakugo: THE HELL IS THAT NERD? I'M OUT OF ICE POPS!

Todoroki: I'm on my way out. I'll take care of it.

Izuku sighed, not bothering to read through the rest.

"Even through a text, Kacchan has to scream at me," Izuku grumbled. He pushed himself into a sitting position, regretting it immediately as the room spun around him. He sat still, waiting for it to pass, quickly deciding that it was due to quickly rising from his bed.

Once the room became still, Izuku stood up, making his way into the empty corridor, and down into the common area, his phone tucked into his pocket.

Deku smiled, finding Iida seated on the couch with a cup of tea. Beside the class rep, Tokoyami stood, sipping from a purple mug.

"How are you guys feeling?" Deku asked, sitting in the chair across from them.

"Better, Midoriya, thank you," Iida said. "Not quite a hundred percent just yet, but well enough to resume some of my duties."

"I'm much better than I have been," Tokoyami replied between sips. "I think I can help out if you need it." Deku gave a short nod.

"I'm glad you guys are feeling better." He said.

"Unfortunately, most of our classmates don't seem to be experiencing much change," Iida added. "But tell me, how are you feeling? You've been doing most of the errands lately. That would be a lot for anyone."

"I'm fine. I know almost everyone would do the same for me if I needed it.

"All the same," Iida replied. "We appreciate it." Before Izuku could reply, he was interrupted by his phone.

"Sorry, I need to take this," Deku said, standing up slowly.

"Of course," Iida grinned. "You wouldn't want to keep Togata waiting." Deku blushed, moving away from his friends. He pressed the answer button and held the device to his ear.

"Hey, Mirio." He greeted.

"Hey, how's it going?" The older boy questioned. "Did you get any sleep?"

"Yeah, I just got up. Are you feeling better from earlier?"

"I am. I might be able to meet up with you and Eri tomorrow,"

"Great! Do you want to meet me there? I have to get Eri around eight. Mr. Aizawa has a meeting in the morning, and she'll be so happy." Izuku replied excitedly.

"Yeah, it'll be great to see my two favorite people. You still sound tired though. Are you sure you're okay?"

"Yeah. I'm fine, really." Mirio was silent for a long moment.

"Izuku, if you're-"

"I was just a little tired." Deku insisted, opening his bedroom door and lying back on the bed.

"You're sure?"

"Yeah."

"You don't need anything? I can-"

"No. I told you, I need you to rest. If I need something, I can get it, or ask one of my classmates. A couple of them are starting to feel better."

"Good. Hey, I've got something I need to take care of, I'll talk to you soon." Mirio said.

"Yeah, sure. I-I love you." Izuku said, confused by the length of their conversation.

"Love you too." Izuku hung up the call, coughing into his sleeve.

"Dry air," He said. "That's all it is. I'm not going to disappoint Eri!" He thought before giving in to his lack of energy.

Twenty minutes passed by, and Deku heard a knock at the door. He groaned softly, forcing himself to his feet.

Deku crossed the short distance to the door and straightened himself up, before pulling open the door.

The tall blond boy stood in front of him, several shopping bags held in his hands.

"Mirio, what are you-"

"Now, we both know you aren't going to ask people to help you." Mirio accused.

"You shouldn't-"Izuku began, only for the older boy to grab his wrist and pull him inside.

"I'm just here to make sure you're okay,"Mirio said, setting the bags down and embracing Izuku.

"You could've hurt yourself," Izuku scolded. "If you got dizzy on your way over here, and-"

"I made it, right?" Izuku nodded.

"Then everything's fine." The older teen lightly kissed Izuku's forehead, leading him to the bed, as they both sat down.

"But you'll have to go back, and-"

"Just relax. You're a little warm." Izuku shook his head.

"Don't say that," He grumbled. "I can't be sick right now. I'll be sick next week." Mirio chuckled.

"If only it worked that way, Iz. I'm sorry."

"M-maybe it's a 12-hour thing, and I'll be over it by morning. I just- Eri's going to be so disappointed if we-"

"Hey," Mirio said gently, "She'll understand. Tell you what, if I'm good tomorrow, I'll go and get her. Eri can still make a snowman, and you can take care of yourself. When we're done, I'll come back here, and we'll just hang out. If you're not better by then."

"But-"

"I brought some stuff with me," Mirio said, rummaging through the bags. "I got hot chocolate, and I borrowed a portable DVD player and a couple of movies, I still had a box of tissues, and I didn't if you-" Izuku coughed harshly into his sleeve.

"Yeah, I had a feeling you might need these too," Mirio said, offering Izuku a cough drop. "We could try the hot chocolate first. Maybe your throat's dry." Izuku nodded.

A short time later, Izuku found himself lying in his bed, Mirio serving as his pillow, as they sipped from their warm drinks and watched a movie. Izuku sighed.

He was grateful to his boyfriend but couldn't get Eri off his mind. He hoped one of them would be well enough to keep his promise and keep the smile on the little girl's face.
