All events in this are after arc three. This is a fanfic arc four. It will hold new characters from a new continent and the main characters from the other arcs. Every chapter will be a new dragons perspective. You might read the same dragon's perspective twice but at this time it is unknown. Enjoy!
All live on an Unknown continent named Grairokora
Silverwings: This tribe is currently at war with itself. Look more like a Nightwings but silver and range in several shades of silver. Have long tails much like a Rainwings to wrap around things. Have all natural 'powers' of all the tribes. Said to be the Tribe all dragons are descended from. Horns vary in size and a legend of them says they determine your personality. Live in the Angel Mountains. Last known King and Queen: Queen Lilith and King Blade.
Duelwings: This tribe is made for war. Scales that are impenetrable and colored to look like stone. When hovering they have 2 sets of wings but as they fly the sets of wings fold up as 1. A very strong long tail used to grip things. Like Seawings they have no weapons that come from inside. Horns are straight out of the back of the head and are smaller than most others. Live in the Folded Hills. Last known Queen: Queen Extinction.
Shimmerwings: This tribe is peaceful. Their colors make you think of a Rainwing or Silkwing but they resemble more of a Seawing. They cannot breath under water but they can hold their breath for hours. Amazing swimmers. When you look at them from above it looks as if they were sprinkled with pure diamond dust. Can be any color. Horns curl into small spirals behind the head. Live on the islands in the Sea of Depth. Last known Queen: Queen Azule.
Crystalwings: Not much is known about this tribe. They look similar to Silverwings but have an iridescent shine to them. Their spines are shaped like crystals. They live somewhere close to the Island of Seas in the Sea of Depth. Last known Queen: Queen Topaz.
Whitewings: This tribe is mostly peaceful. Contrary to their name they are actually not white. They range in different shades of grey. Legend says that if a Whitewing were to hatch white the family it came from was cursed good or bad. Only 2 known white Whitewings since the time of the Scorching. Live in the Underlying Desert. Last known Queen: Queen Artemis.
Changewing: This tribe is somewhat aggressive. They are believed to be the ancestors of Rainwings. Like Rainwings they have venom and can change their scales. Changewings cannot shoot venom like Rainwings can. They inject their venom when they bite down on whatever they intend to inject their venom in. Much like Rainwings they can change their scales with mood, but they can also become another dragon from a different tribe. Only grown dragons can do this. The live on a volcanic Island called Changewing Island. Last know Queen: Queen Asylum.
Shieldwings: This tribe is made for war. Shieldwings and Duelwings have been at war for over 2,000 years. Not an all out death war, more of a peaceful war. Shieldwing horns are big and tough, almost like the antlers on a moose. They are very rough scaled and can endure the coldest temperatures in the Shield Kingdom to the north. Last known Queen: Queen Borealis.
Stormwings: This tribe is somewhat peaceful. Stormwings are known for their magic. They create all storms and all weather happening around the dragon world. They are the only tribe to have this sort of power and not be harmed by it. These dragons are a grey-blue-white color that looks like a storm cloud. They live in the Thunder Mountains. Last known Queen: Queen Thunder.
Stonewing: This ancient tribe is peaceful. They are a replaced tribe of omnivores who prefer to be alone than with other tribes. They have the ability to shift their scales together and look like a boulder or stone. They can breathe fire and use it for everyday things. They live in the Rock Valley East of the Silver Kingdom. Last known Queen: Queen Granite.
Prolog
Mist
Thunder rolled in from the sea. The black sand beach was sprayed with water as rain came down hard. Nothing was getting through this storm. Except maybe the one who made it. Mist watched as the lightning licked at her talons in the sky. Her kind was responsible for this kind of weather. But she had never made it this bad before.
"Mist will you knock that off,": a voice growled.
"I can't help it, Tempest. This is my first time out at sea like this." Mist spiraled in the air.
"You are going to lose control." Tempest put her own talons down. "Cyclone expects us to be done before sundown."
"He needs to loosen up." Mist let the storm go on. "So do you."
"What are you two doing up here?" a white grey dragon came up.
"Mist is being a snail-brain." Temp[ets called to the dragon.
"She needs to stop," he growled. "I've already had reports of the lower towns getting flooded."
"Mist, did you hear that?" Tempest turned to where Mist last was. "Mist?"
"Mist!" the other called out. No answer. At this point the storm was starting to fade, lightning no longer visible in the sky.
"Where is she?" Tempest swirled in a circle.
"I don't know." he turned, looking in all directions. "Mist!"
Tempest turned her head as she heard a quiet noise coming from the sea. "The water!" She shot down in time to sea Mist sink down below the surface. She dropped into the cold water reaching for the young dragon. Their talons touched, but Tempest wasn't fast enough. Mist sank deeper into the ocean, falling out of sight.
"Tempest did you find her?" the other dragon asked when she surfaced.
Tempest coughed the water out of her lungs. "She went down. I'm sorry Torrent. I couldn't reach her."
"No." Torrent dived into the water but Tempest grabbed him.
"It's no use." Tempest cried to him.
"No." he floated on top of the water watching as the waves calmed down.
"I'm so sorry." She hugged him. He sat there blankly not returning the hug. "We can have the Shimmerwings look for her body when the rest of the storm passes."
"What will we tell her mother?" he spoke softly.
"Queen Thunder knows the risks just as we all do." she let go of him looking up at the sky. "What will happen when she learns her only heir has died to the thing we hold most sacred?"
Water calmly hit the side of the beach. The sun was lit brightly in the sky as seagulls pecked at a rock. Not a rock. A dragon. The dragon moved causing all the seagulls to fly a few tail lengths away.
"Where am I," She got up and shook her head. Mist turned her head. "Tempest? Torrent? Guy's?" she looked down to her talons. "Gold sand? The Storm kingdom dosen't have any gold sand beaches."
She took a few steps forward before toppling over. Pain shot up her right hind leg. She turned her head to look at it. Red blood trickled down from a big gouge in her hip. "Ow. I must have hit it on something."
She stood up again favoring her hind leg. She scanned the sand that seemed to go on for miles. "Maybe I'm in the Underlying Desert. Ok," she traced a claw in the sand of Grairokora. "I was at Stormcloud Ridge when I came out to sea so I would be near the Death viper Village. They are bound to have healers there. So I need to head, hmm." she thought for a moment. "West. Now if I'm right west should be," she turned to the ocean with a weird face. "That way?"
"No no. That can't be right." She looked at her sand map again. "But I should head west. Oh wait. Maybe I'm on one of the Islands in the chain of Island of Seas. That could be possible. They have a village or two on every island. So I need to head East. Alright. East. I can do this."
She started walking on, her tail brushing away the sand map.
"Man is it hot," she stopped for after an hour or two.. "I don't think this is the Island of Seas."
She looked over the never ending sand seeing nothing on the horizon. "Where am I?"
