Summary/disclaimer: Time For another chapter of Frostbitten Friends. Enjoy the 2400-word chapter. I do not own TMNT, and Nick and a few others do.

Cyro and Alopex walked down the road and into the next tunnel. She hummed and pulled at her baggy clothes which reminded her she was no longer human… She was no longer fully anything.

"Tired?" Cyro asked, leaning on the wall as he did so. "We need to go a little faster, Al… The longer we are here?" Cyro stated.

"Yeah… Well, I feel like Bonnie and freaking Clyde, Cry." Alopex stated.

"They die if you forget," Cyro stated, resting a hand on a train. "We're… Something." Cyro stated before he grasped the wall.

Alopex turned as Cyro grasped at his throat before he collapsed to a knee, ice spilling from his gaping maw as he straightened up.

"Throat… Hurts, that felt weird." Cyro stated before he sighed to himself.

Alopex rested her hands across his chest and investigated his throat. She could see plenty of normal… Mutant things like teeth and skin but she also saw a blue light, one which built in the back of his throat.

"That ice power is cooling your lungs… But they are not made to be cooled, they constricted since they cannot expand properly." Alopex stated.

"That… Bad?" Cyro asked as he rested his hands on his knees, knowing it might be.

He had little to no real idea what was going on, not that it would help if he did. He looked at Alopex, his eyes glowing blue as he did so, frost building from his throat as he sighed… Every single part of him wished to relax, to fight, and to grow… And so did she, she was like him, unique and yet not at all human.

There was a gift, chaos that required them to fight and grow.

Yet? Even he could tell what was coming, even he could react. He had to react for there was nobody else to do it for him, nothing to push him down the path to do so… He helped her to his feet only to collapse, leaning on the wall behind him as if he would break in two at the strongest breeze.

It made him angry but he could do little to vent, to knock it into place and let it all be ended for them. This and that would allow very little of it to properly be fixed within a reasonable time.

All of it would end eventually and this was going to be the one thing where they did not relax and did not let it all end in flames and chaos for now, it seemed almost unreal when it was all said and done, almost unnatural for them as soldiers.

That and this would all combine into nothing little for now at the end of it. This was something else that needed to be dealt with for now as he clicked it all up and was done with it.

He had been to it now… More and more did he wish to relax… Knowing what he would and could do was enough to throw himself to the ground… Such was life.

Cyro grunted in pain as he slowly climbed to his feet, concrete cracking under the giant wolf mutant as he looked to the side.

He seemed to be dealing with something more than pain. He had been too uneasy on his feet for her to think he was suffering from something small.

"Cry, you, ok? We are almost there." Alopex stated before she hummed.

"Yeah, just my legs hurt… You look kinda tiny, Al… No offense." Cyro said as Alopex snorted.

The girl looked far more amused and then looked to the side, she had been tired for now at the end of the day… Such a thing was going to impede them and all it did was make her question what had gone on.

Perhaps he had fallen to pieces. He seemed to be eager to continue onwards at then all rest…. What he would do was beyond chaotic for now as he clicked his fingers, looked to the side, and paused once more.

There was a moment… A few seconds of which he paused to look at it for now.

There are a lot of things that he could not allow… But he would, he would because it was funny to him and the funny was something else.

He had been too disturbed, too thrown off even by what he held onto… Yes, it had been clear by the end of it that whatever needed to be done would be done… And what does he need to do now? It was rest…. It was clear what they wanted.

Cyro leaned on the wall, shaking himself off like the hound he was. He was tired but he was too exhausted and too bored to do much more than glance at her.

Alopex placed her hands on either side of his face, pushing fur away from his eyes which glowed in ways that interested her. She smiled, her muzzle revealing dozens if not hundreds of pristine white fangs that glistened in the light.

"I am not going to let this take you out… Ok? Let us get somewhere less warm…. Then I will go look for some stuff, I just need some functioning gear and I think I can deal with that little chill going down your gullet, k?" Alopex said as she hummed and then looked at Cyro.

He grunted, trying not to take much of his strength to get back up. He looked at her as she smirked, clearly interested in causing more mayhem even if it was not going to be the sort of mayhem they were used to.

He hummed and then looked at her for a second and then looked at her for a moment, she would be able to try and figure it all out as of now. Whatever needed to be done would be done and whatever he needed to do?

He would do it… So, he bucked her onto his spine like that of a horse and set off, trampling bits of garbage and other little bits of scrap in his way.

He was silent before he looked to the side and then kept rushing into the further parts of the tunnel. He sighed and then looked to the side before he seemed to try and figure it out before it was over for now.

He was too silent, too interested in what he could do next. He was too interested in what he could be dealt with. All of it was fun and she could not lie, she would have a LOT of fun about it when all was said and done.

There were a lot of things to which she wished to do and relaxing was one of them. He had been amused for now and amused as it all came crashing down.

Cyro hummed and crashed through the wall, almost eager to smash the wall down under his claws, Cyro looked at Alopex who rested on his back while the two ran through the tunnels.

He began to pant, tired and worn down… He had been unable to do much with his level of power yet, he could feel ice and cold building in his throat as he finally reached the room and collapsed.

Alopex made sure he was okay as he paused and then slammed down on the car next to him, crushing the hood and shattering the windshield.

He looked at Alopex who looked around. The place they were in seemed to be a train station as evidenced by the dozen or so trains in various states of disrepair. The light of a station in disrepair drew her.

"You uh…. Stay put?" Alopex heard as Cyro hummed and held up a thumb with exhaustion.

Alopex leaped onto a train, her feet digging into the roof as she found purchase upon the top of it and she almost collapsed into the next part of the station.

She was amused, very amused and she looked to the side with all amusement on her face visible to all they could say and do, there were a lot of things bothering her about that…. Lots of things.

To be fair? She did not exactly know how well it would go, only that all of it was annoying.

She felt water drip down onto her and realized most of her clothes had been torn… From there? She realized she had been transformed.

Part of her, a small bit? Slowly tore herself down knowing that she was no longer human… However? She had other portions baying for anger against them.

She had lost how she looked, so? She had seen him differently, seen how her family had looked at her and balked at what she had wanted.

"Al, you…. Ok?" Cyro asked, raising an eyebrow. "Ow…. Ow, stings to talk." Cyro muttered.

"Your throat is probably trying to adjust… Cold air usually makes it hard to breathe." Alopex stated, hooking her feet around a pipe next to her.

"Hurts more than you think, Al," Cyro stated. "Take your time… I am not going to scurry off." Cyro stated, clasping a hand on his chest.

"I ain't going to let you die, Cry…." Alopex said as she flipped onto a ledge that almost gave way from her weight. "Cy, you know where the heavy machinery is?" Alopex asked.

"Train stuff?" Cyro asked as she hummed. "Think top floor. Why? You need a train engine or something?" Cyro asked.

"I need parts to try and jury rig something. When that is all fixed? I think I can fix up your neck… Well, I can make something for your collar." Cyro stated.

He sighed to himself and then paused to think of what was going on before now. She had been too eager to figure out something but it would all be done and dusted when it came to it at the end of the time being.

She had been through something far worse than what needed to be done and what needed to be awakened now. If knew more and more that if anything what had happened? She had a bone to pick when push had come to shove.

The chaos she was dealing with was annoying but it was something that had to be done and could be fixed sooner or later.

Now and only did they wish to figure it out now.

Alopex looked at Cyro and hummed before she thought of what was growing on her mind. She was too tired, too exhausted as she thought of her next job.

She began to tear into the technology, pausing to think of what was growing on her mind, her clawed fingers gripping more and more bundles of wires.

Alopex knew what she was doing, she knew plenty of parts of the train. Technology was a passion of hers and she thought once of how the technology was being worked on for now.

Alopex hummed to try and figure it out as she tore things out, laying each little piece of technology at her clawed feet. She twisted to the side, wrapping herself around the bundle of wires.

Alopex was still interested in helping Cyro even as she considered looking around, digging through wires and bundles of circuit boards and speakers.

She put more and more of the technology at her feet now once and for good reason. Alopex seemed to think of what was growing more and more as she paused to wish done and dusted.

She finally untangled herself from the wires and then lowered to the side. Alopex seemed to be done and dusted while she relaxed now and now before she looked to think of what was growing more and more.

Alopex seemed to be done and dusted as she tossed herself down, gripping a platform before she paused to toss herself to the ground. Cyro paused to try and think of what was growing more and more interested in what was being dealt with as he looked to the side.

He hummed and looked at her with such fascination that it might become easier to deal with now and easier to relax. She knew that all of them were in this together… Well, she was in it together for now, and it was all said and done.

Alopex seemed to be ready to figure it out more and more. Alopex as she hummed, thinking of herself and for good reason.

She did not know what was to happen now before she paused to think once more. Alopex was eager to watch her friend for now as she tapped her chin.

Alopex seemed to think and blink a few seconds later as exhaustion claimed her a few seconds later with annoyance with it now.

Cyro hummed and slowly grunted, staggering to his feet as he looked at her, thinking of it all now and for good reason. He had been through the end of it.

She could and would seem to tell that he had been tired…. He would be tired, far too tired now and he looked to her with no small degree of sympathy now.

She did not know what was to occur now... Alopex looked over his breathing, pondering what was going on now… Not once did it come to help figure it out.

There was more to it now and for good reason… She did not know what was going on now and he did not care as the hulking beast offered her a smirk, grunting as he sighed and then thought of it once more…. He clicked his fingers, dragging his claws on the wall.

Alopex crossed her clawed arms and then tapped her clawed feet on the ground before she looked to the side as she thought of it once more.

Alopex blinked, looking at Cyro as he paused to think of what was being done and dusted. He sighed before he looked to the side as she wished to be done.

"So…" Alopex stated as she tossed the piece she needed up and down. "I need to see those pearly whites, big guy…. This might be a little harder to deal with," Alopex stated.
