Mostly will be Tris's Prov

It took 3 days before the Factionless attacked Four and I fought them and killed them. I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket, so I looked at the name before ignoring the call, seeing I had 60 unread messages.

Caleb: Tris, Eric needs you.

Caleb: Tris. I've tried calling you… please…

The rest of the messages were to that extent. I called Eric's number, but it went to voicemail. Figures. He doesn't usually charge it. "Caleb. She's fine. Right here. Why? WHAT?! OH MY GOD." Four handed me the phone as I took it. "Caleb what's going on?! WHAT?! OH MY GOD! I'm on my way!" I didn't even process anything after I threw the phone to Four before I ran all the way to Erudite General. "Hi, I'm looking for Eric Coulter please…. I'm his wife." The women led me to the family waiting room. This didn't seem good…. "Caleb!" I said before I felt his arms around me as I sobbed. The doctor came in and said "Mrs. Coulter?" I turned and nodded. "that's me." The doctor said "Your husband is an extremely lucky young man. The bullet just barely missed his heart, it nicked the one vein and artery which we had to surgically repair, or he would've died, your brother gave us permission, since we couldn't reach you." I said "Is he alive?" the doctor nodded and said "yes. Thanks to your brother. We're moving him to the recovery room, and I'll have a nurse escort you there." I nodded before turning to Caleb. "Thank you. But what the hell happened?!"

"We were fighting one of the Factionless, it was Mia, had gotten a gun and shot at Eric, I pulled him enough out of the way to save him, but he still got shot, I killed Mia. Tris I'm sorry… I didn't know what to do! You weren't answering! I made the decision and told them I said it was okay. That you would want it…" I took a deep breath and said "Thank you for that as well. And hey, I would've made the same decision. I want to have a family meeting when we get home… we need in case of emergency contacts and put them on cards in case this happens again." Caleb said "I think that's a good idea. We should also talk about the wants of each other and dad, so if the moment comes, we can make the best decision with the knowledge we have." I said "I agree." I said as a nurse came in. "hi, I'm here to escort you both to Mr. Coulters room." We went to his room, and I immediately curled up against him. "Only the Mrs. Can stay overnight. Visiting hours will be ending soon, Mr. Prior." Caleb nodded before kissing my head. "Let me know if you need anything. He'll make it through now." He whispered to me. I nodded but refused to move from Eric's chest.

Over the next few days Eric woke up and today we'd finally be able to go home. He had just finished changing when I felt the bed dip beside me. "Are you alright?" Eric's voice asked. I looked up and said "yeah… I'm just really afraid… that night was scary…" I felt his arms around me as he said "I know. But I'm alright. I'm right here. With you. You and the baby are safe too." "You have Four to thank for that… and Caleb for your life… I already talked to Caleb about this, but I think we need to have a family meeting, you, me, Max, Caleb, and Four. We need to write down 4 emergency contacts down on paper that we keep on us at all times so if we end up in the hospital unable to decide and one of us can't be reached. Caleb said we should also talk about our wishes… so everyone is on the same page. The hospital argued with Caleb apparently… if Caleb wasn't strong-willed like me, you wouldn't even be here…" Eric smiled and said "I agree with that plan. How did Four save you?"

"I was fighting one of the Factionless… loosing they were about to hurt the baby, by injecting something down below. I threw a glance to Four, who immediately threw the Factionless person off me… and the injection went into the Factionless's leg. Then Four made sure we were okay, before handing me a gun. We killed all the Factionless. But I couldn't have done it if Four hadn't been there." Eric pressed a kiss to my head and said "remind me to thank him." We got home and went to our apartment where I punched in the code. We ended up settling on the couch before Max, Caleb and Four came over. "Hey, we brought some food." Caleb said setting up everything on the coffee table. While we ate, we spoke about the plan, all in agreement on who was going to be the emergency contacts, and the wishes. We wrote everything down and tucked the paper in our coat pockets. They visited a while before I yawned. "We should let you all get some sleep. If you need anything don't hesitate to ask. You can return to work if you feel up to it but if not, you still have everything to work from home." Max said, as we stood. "Thanks Dad." I gave him a hug before my brothers. "Hey Dad, I just had an idea. I want to name a co-head leader." "I think that's a great idea, but you're the head of Dauntless. You make the rules." I looked to Eric, who turned to Four. "Four, I want to ask you if you'd be my co head leader, and Caleb, I want you to be the co senior leader. With Tris's pregnancy, I would feel comfortable with having the extra hands for moments like this. After everything the past few days, you both have proven this faction would not be able to function properly and to its full value without you." I was shocked. Caleb said "I'm honored. And I accept." Four said "I accept to, my brother. I'll make you proud."

Max said "I love you all. My children. Not just biological, but the ones who I've grown to love as my sons." Four and Eric smiled. "Alright, alright. This is getting all to mushy for me." Four started. "Besides we should let these two get some rest." They all left as Eric, and I went to our room. "Hey, I'm going to shower really quick… I smell like hospital." We both ended up showering together before putting our PJs on before he laid down in bed, which is when I got an extra blanket's before I curled up into his arms. "Try and sleep now." Eric whispered, as I drifted to sleep.

Although sleep was not in our favor that night, cause next thing I knew Eric was gently shaking me, awake. "Tris, Wake up." I darted up breathing hard, causing Eric to sit up, and wrap an arm around me. "Shh. I'm here." His movements were slow considering he had stitches in his chest. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to wake you..." Eric kissed my forehead. "I wasn't sleeping much. Are you alright?" I shook my head. "I keep seeing that night I almost lost you..." "You didn't. I'm right here, beside you, holding you. What can I do to help the nightmares…?" He asked. I shook my head. "I'm okay, once I realize you're here." "Alright… We should try and sleep while we can… Erudite sent over a new serum for fear landscapes, one that will work on divergents." I nodded as we snuggled back down and drifted back to sleep.

In the morning we met Caleb and Four in the fear landscapes room. "Who goes first..?" I asked. "I will…" Eric said as they did the serum. I watched on the screen, for a minute before I turned away. "NO!" Eric lept up, shaking. "Eric." I cried as my arms went around his waist. "holy shit… That was way too intense…" Eric's voice said as he inhaled my scent. Four tallied on a paper. "I'm Next…" I sat on the chair. "relax." I felt the serum.

I was in the apartment. "aoohhhh Eric!" I heard Chris's moan. "That Bitch Tris doesn't deserve you!" I opened the door, I was visibly pregnant. I screamed as Chris came and shot Eric before running to the rooftop of Dauntless.

~Eric's Prov~

"Four, stop the damn stimulation!" Four shook his head, I growled shutting it down as Tris shot up from her chair screaming and sobbing. "Tris. It's Okay. I'm here." I said as I let my arms wrap around her. "Ssh…" She sobbed against me. "Caleb, and Four, don't do yours. Four, send these back to Erudite. Tell them of the reactions. If it was this bad on Tris's and mines imagine yours.." Four said "I will. Hey Tris, are you Okay? You look like your going to Pass out…" I looked to her before getting her to the infirmary. "Eric, Tris... Oh My God. Come." Marlene said as She got us settled, on the bed. "What happened?" She asked as she busied herself taking vitals. "Fear Landscapes... It was the new one Erudite sent over... Is it possible she's having a bad reaction to it?" I asked. "It's possible, But We're going to do an ultrasound to be safe. Make sure the baby is okay. Is that Okay with you both?" I looked to Tris, who nodded. "Yeah it's fine." Marlene smiled and said "Alright, I'll be right back." She disappeared, as I sat beside Tris. "The baby will be okay right?"

I looked to her worried eyes. "I'm not going to lie and say a absolutely yes. I'm just as worried as you. I am going to say, that the baby is dauntless, just like his or her mama and father. That's what we do know. Okay?" She said "Thank you." Marlene came back and did the ultrasound. "Okay, so you're measuring at 10 weeks, and due date is going to be around Christmas time. The baby is perfectly healthy. Do you see that little blob right here, with the flickering in the middle? That's your baby." I smiled wide, looking to Tris, who had tears in her eyes. Marlene moved the ultrasound wand focusing intently. "What's wrong?" I asked, before Tris could notice. "Nothing's wrong, I just see another heartbeat..." I said "The baby has two hearts?" Tris elbowed me in the side. "No, but you have two babies. Both are perfect and healthy, heartbeat's are perfect and right where we want them." I was in shock. "Then why did she look so weak?" I asked, still absorbing the news, Tris leaned against me, breathing gently, I didn't have to look at her to know she was trying to absorb the twin news as well.

Marlene said "My personal opinion is that it's because of the serum. I think she should go home and rest for the rest of the afternoon, if that's possible. I truly think it might be the best option for her right now, and for the babies…" I looked to her before saying "I mean, I'm not going to say I don't agree, because I do, but, I do have to be in the office, right now. Four is in Erudite reporting the reactions to the serum…" Marlene said "Well, is there a way she can rest in the office??" "I'll make it my top priority." Marlene smiled and said "Then she's in the best hands possible hands, and just in case she thinks she can bat her pretty little eyes at you and get away with it, Remind her it's better for the babies."

Four: Hey Eric. I went to the office, and you're not here, I wanted to talk to you about what Erudite said…

Eric: Will be there in 15. Tris is under strict orders to be resting, but I'm bringing her to the office to make sure.

Four: Sounds good Man.

I took Tris's hand as we walked to the office and I punched the code into the panel. "Hey Four." We greeted. "Tris your desk please." She nodded and went to her desk and started working quietly, on paperwork. It wasn't as physically demanding as other things I could have her doing. "So what did Erudite say?" I asked. "They said thanks for the information and they won't be giving us anymore, and want us to revert to the old fear landscape serum while they work on another batch for us to test. I saw Tris looked up, afraid. "And if it happens again?! Damn it Four, I could've lost Tris and the babies. I don't know if I feel comfortable putting her through another one…" I whispered. Four said "Eric, we have to… Unless…" "We remove the fear landscape aspect of on-going leadership training." Four said "What do you think?" I looked to Tris, before back to Four. "I think it's a great idea. What about you?" Four said "I agree, 100%. But do we have the power to do that?" I said "Really Four? We're the head leaders, we're the heads of Dauntless, and you're wondering if we have the power to make changes to the on going faction leadership training?" I heard a stifle of laughter from Tris, as Four said "I keep forgetting, man. You just gave the permission to me." I laughed than, as I said "Tris, can you draw up the paperwork for me, and we can get this all signed and ready for filling?" Tris nodded and began typing it up on the computer.

~Tris's Prov~

I was so intently focused on the task Eric assigned me, I didn't even notice that Eric was watching me. "Is everything Okay?" "Yeah of course, I was just wondering if you planned on working straight through lunch or if you wanted to get a bite with me?" I blushed and said "I'm starving actually…" Eric laughed, "Then come on, let's go get something to eat." He wrapped an arm around my waist, as we walked to the café, and ordered our lunch. Chris came over snuggled in Caleb's arms, She and Will broke up, apparently, because of Caleb, apparently. Eric and I sat at what we started to conisder our table, while Caleb and Chris sat across from us and Four on my left. I ate quietly with the others, which apparently raised alarm bells in Eric's head.

"Tris, are you alright?" I said "Yeah, I'm fine… Just the babies are making me feel a little nauseous." I whispered that last part so only Four and Eric could hear. "Hey Eric, Tris. Here." Marlene said, as she handed Eric a bottle. I looked curiously to her. "It's anti-nausea meds that are safe in certain conditions." I smiled, as Eric popped the correct dose out and handed it to me, before handing me a drink. I took the medicine as I whispered a thank you. "What condition is she talking about?" Chris asked. Between the people who I was close to during initiation, the only one who knew I was pregnant, was Marlene, and Uriah. Four, cause he's a co head leader, and Caleb, for obvious reasons. "I'm pregnant with twins…" I whispered. "WHAT?!! Who's the father?!" "Chris, keep your voice down honey." Caleb hissed. Eric looked to me before he said "I am, and if you have a problem with that, keep your mouth shut." Four said "I'm going to go for a jog. I'll meet you back at the office in an hour." He left, as Chris shoved away from the table and walked off. "Give her time. You know she's not Eric's biggest fan."

"It's fine. Actually, Babe, I'm going to head up to the office, I'm still not feeling 100%." I said, as Eric frowned. "You've barely eaten anything honey, that's probably why you're not feeling well…" Caleb said "Tris, do you need a purple dragon?" My eye's shot to his at the mention of a purple dragon. "I'm fin…Okay, yeah. I do…" Caleb gave Eric a look, as if to say he's got this. "Alright… I'll meet you back at the office." He kissed my head, before he left. Most the café was empty. "What's going on Tris? You never are like this.. I haven't seen you this way since we were 15…" I took a deep breath and said "I haven't felt this weak, and out of it since then either…" "Talk to me." He said, taking Eric's spot beside me. "I just feel like I'm letting Eric down, and the babies."

"You're not. The babies are lucky to have you as a mom." I said "How do you even know that?" Caleb wrapped an arm around me, before saying "Because I know you. Even though I'm older by 5 minutes, when we were younger, even right up to the day we changed faction, You've shown me, a caring loving kick ass side of you. One who goes above and beyond. Especially when her brother, ripped his jacket, or when he got hurt. I might be older, but you've been helping me through all the times, when I was hurt or scared." "That goes both ways." I whispered. No one knew the story of the first time I got my 'deadly sea.' That was a secret code against the dauntless girls for our monthly cycles. "Now for the babies sake, will you please try and eat something?" I sighed and ate, before I saw Caleb smile. "There." We returned to the office, where Eric gave Caleb a grateful smile. "Hey, I need you in your top game tomorrow, We've got a faction leader meeting." Caleb and I nodded. Four must've still been jogging. Once Caleb left he said "What's a purple dragon?" I said "Purple Dragon is kind of like a code word between Caleb and I, simply it means sibling talk." Eric smiled fondly. "When Four comes back, why don't we head home? Maybe play 20 questions or something? I have to admit, we don't know too much about each other." I smiled and said "As long as you go get a pizza and ice cream, ooohhhh and pickles and bacon for dinner." "Cravings are a bitch right?" I laughed. We went back to the apartment, once Four came back. "So Ladies first." Eric said as we sat on the couch. "Were you a transfer too or Dauntless born?"

Eric said "That's the one you start off with?" I nodded. "Transferred from Erudite. I was Jeanine's nephew. My mom, and dad who both are still alive, told me to get out or Jeanine would kill me." I frowned at that. "I'm so sorry, and with the faction before blood, it makes it impossible to see them…" He said "I'm used to it. I have a brother, who'll be eligible to transfer with the next batch, I guess I just miss the family." I said "We'll figure this out. I promise." He smiled, and said "You're right. Now my turn…" He had an evil glint in his eyes. "Uh oh… I'm scared now." He laughed. "What's your most embarrassing childhood memory."

I gulped, and said "Well, I was 12, heading home with Caleb from school, when I felt sick… When we got home, I went to the bathroom, cause well, you never know, if that would help, But when I looked down at the underwear, I saw blood, and I screamed. My mother never told me about like periods or anything… I was scared. Caleb came in, before realizing what happened. I was crying, embarrassed. He somehow knew where mom kept her monthly visitor supplies, so he went and got some for me, and some clean underwear, cause I mean why not? He already essentially saw his sister in the most awkward position. Once I cleaned up, We sat at the table, okay, well I did, Caleb started dinner. When mom and dad came home, they went off on me for not helping Caleb, my dad smacked my cheek. But that was the only time…"

Eric waited patiently. "Caleb whispered something to my mom, who instantly looked to me before, taking me to my room. She went over in details on what happened to me… It made me feel relaxed." Eric said "Wow, I would've never guessed." I said "it's not a typical story I like to share, just because it's so embarrassing. I mean in what world should a brother have to rescue his sister in that way." We kept playing the game till my stomach growled. "I'm going to go pick up the pizza, ice cream, Pickles and bacon. Anything else, my sexy bride is craving?" I said "Oooh I just got a craving for garlic bread and cake, Chocolate… No Red velvet… No Vanilla..." Eric said "I'll get it all. I'll be back in 30." He left.

Tris: Hey Four, Don't tell Eric, about this, I want to surprise him tomorrow. But I want to get the faction before blood banished. Would you back me up on this tomorrow?

Four: You do realize you're asking me to lie to my co-head leader right?

Tris: Yes, But trust me, I know he misses his family… For our sake. Will you?

Four: Yes I will, and I will back you up.

Tris: You're the BEST!

I smiled, as Eric returned. We ate dinner, and went to bed.

In the morning I woke up early, going to our bathroom, and got ready. I was just putting the finishing touches of my make up on, when Eric came in. "You should've woken me…" I said "You need less time then I love. Besides you needed your sleep." He started getting ready, while I returned to our room and changed. I slid my feet inside my combat boots, when Eric came out and said "Ready to go love?" I nodded. We quickly ate breakfast before meeting Four and Caleb at the train, which we got on. When we arrived at Erudite, we entered the building, seeing the faces of the other faction leaders, we made polite conversation, before the meeting was called into order. "I'd like to introduce the two new head co-leaders for Dauntless, and all our new leaders. Starting with Dauntless, the two new co-Head leaders, Eric Coulter, and Four. New Leaders, are Tris Coulter, and Caleb Prior." I kind of zoned out at that part before the meeting was in full swing. The first half was fine, and even lunch was pleasant. After, Four pulled me aside. "Are you sure you don't want to tell him?" I nodded. We returned to the meeting, and it went smoothly. Towards the end, I said "I want to propose something. I want to ban the 'Faction before blood' rule." Eric's eye widen in shocked. "I know you guys might wonder how this won't start an uprising, and I'm saying from personal experience, that I would love to keep connections to my parents, there are so many changes happening in everyone's lives, babies being born, who won't know their grandparents, if the parents defected, and I don't think that's right. Us leaders get together monthly for these meetings, and nothing's happened yet, Just because, there's communication between families, doesn't mean there will be an uprising." Eric said immediately coming to my defense. There were whispers amongst the leaders. "I think we're ready to vote." Erudite's leader, Jessica Matthew's said. "Candor?" Jack Kang said "Aye." "Amity?" Johanna said "Aye." I smiled. "Abnegation?" "Aye." Sam Robertson said. He took over as head leader after Marcus's death. "Erudite?" I asked.

"Aye." Jessica said. "It's Unanimous! I'll make the official announcement, now. Meeting dismissed." We all filed out, when a women, and man and a little boy and even littler girl came over. "Eric." The women said, with a smile. "Mother. Father. Jenson, Cami. Come here." He hugged them tight, before Cami ran over to me. "Hi I'm Cami Coulter!" I smiled ruffling her hair. "Well Hi there Cami, I'm Tris Coulter." Her eyes widened in surprise. "Official introductions should be made." Eric said, before his mother said "I would hope so." Eric smiled before pulling me to his side. "Mother, Father, Jenson, and Cami, I'd like you to officially meet my wife, Tris Coulter. Tris, this is my mother, Kallie, My Father, Jacob, My brother Jenson, and my baby sister Cami, who I guess isn't a baby anymore." Cami said "I am now this many!" She held up fingers, proudly. "It's so nice to meet you all. I look forward to getting to know you all better, since we successfully got the faction before blood banned." I ruffled through my pockets, for scrap paper, to write down our number. "Call us any time. Maybe next time you guys can come visit us." "Can we go this weekend mommy??" Cami asked. Today was a holiday, so school was out. "Well if it's alright with Eric and Tris." I looked to Eric, who said "Of course!!" Karrie then pulled us aside. "Also, I know you guys have a lot on your plate but would you be able to watch Cami and Jenson this week? I have to go get a surgery, for something personal, and I can't very well leave the kids alone…" Eric looked to me, before we responded. "Yeah of Course. They're always welcome. We can set up the guest rooms, and stuff. You just bring clothes and anything you would need, and We'll take care of them." Karri's face flooded with relief. "Thank you!" "ERIC! TRIS! WE'RE GOING TO MISS THE TRAIN IF WE DON'T HURRY." Four said, as we excused ourselves, before we ran to catch the train. Once we got home, I sat my coat on the coat rack, before I said "we got 21 rooms right?" We got the biggest apartment, Max, since his only family had a smaller one, since he never apparently re-married, and his children were gone.

"Right." Eric confirmed. "Why don't we make 5 for girls, 5 for boys, two for the nursery? Can we also update our room too?" Eric said "I like that idea. How many kids do you want?" I said "I want at least 5, but if we have more, I wouldn't want more than 10." Eric smiled and said "You know I think 10 is a perfect number." I blushed. "so, we can make the extra 4 for the guest rooms." Eric said "Perfect.. Let's make a list of things and colors you'd like, and I can go pick them up tomorrow, with Uriah and Zeke. I want you, Four and Caleb to take charge tomorrow." I nodded as I made a list of things. "I was thinking, we could put toddler beds, in at least 2 of the rooms for the kids, and move them to storage when they aren't in use." Eric said "That's a great idea." I put the finishing touches on the list, leaving out a few things that I put on a separate list, for the baby shower. "Hey Tris, Thank you. For getting the faction before blood banned." "A key part of it was your argument. I can't believe you came up with that on the spot." Eric smiled. "Erudite brain of mine." "I thought of it yesterday, and I asked Four to back me up on it, if you were too in shock." Eric grinned and said "Well, after the twin news, I don't think anything can put me in a too shocked move." I laughed, and said true." We got changed and curled up in bed for the night. "Sleep tight, sleeping beauty."
