Peter left Coruscant and made his way for Raydonia, hoping to escape the Empire as quickly as possible. It wasn't easy to sneak past all of the checkpoints, but by keeping his head low and keeping his face hidden, he was able to get around them.

When he was far away from the Empire, he searched for a place to find employment. Obtaining the necessary credentials to work in the black market, which he had acquired during his time as a Jedi, proved difficult. He wanted to lay low as best as he could, so he ended up working in the shipping business. Loading and unloading cargo from the starships and loading it onto other vessels or transporting it by land.

"These are heavy crates. Some of the workers couldn't Eve Think you can get it done, Riley?" The owner of the business asks Peter.

Ben Riley. That was the name he was using to sneak around. Peter Parker was a known associate of the Jedi, and every one of them had been marked for termination. If he wanted to survive, he needed to leave his old name behind.

"I can get it done. I'm stronger than I look." Peter promises.

"Great, welcome to the crew." His worker said and walked off.

Peter sighed as he walked over to his station. Working on the anti-gratify button, he noticed it wasn't working and sighed. He looked around and noticed only some Twi'lek girl was working on the other crates. She was lucky to get the working crates and didn't have much trouble moving them.

"You the new guy?" The Twi'lek asks Peter.

"Yeah," Peter confirmed as he placed the crate down. "My name's Ben Riley."

"Ayyn'sara." She introduced herself to Peter. "People call me Ayyn."

"Nice to meet you, Ayyn," Peter said as he shook her hand.

"Nice to meet you too. Now get back to work; the boss doesn't like it when we aren't working," Ayyn warned Peter as she walked away to get more crates.

Peter nodded and knew he needed to get back to work.

And that was how things went for a while.

Peter would wake up in a hotel room, get ready for the day, head to the shipping yards, move containers, and occasionally have conversations with Ayyn for some company. Things were pretty straightforward for a whole year.

Then one incident changed everything for the worse.

It was like every other day, loading crates onto the platform to be risen up and brought into the ship. There was a droid that was controlling the platform and rose it upward toward the ship. Peter was moving a few more crates to the platform for the next round of crates.

But all of a sudden, for the first time in a year, his spider senses went off and alerted him to danger. When he looked around to try and find out where it was coming from a few sparks came from the control panel for the platform. Some of the crates began to shake, followed by the platform beginning to malfunction and shake. There was one of the ship's crew on the platform and he began to panic. He grabbed onto the ledge when he fell and was pleading for help.

Ayyn and Peter ran over to the controls and saw that the power supply was fried. Ayyn was working on getting the power back, while Peter was coming up with an idea.

It was risky, but he couldn't just let him die.

Grasping the power cell for the controls, Peter gripped it and used his bioelectricity for the first time in a year. It was a difficult struggle, requiring a great deal of energy from him. As he tried with all of his might, it was still growing more and more difficult to get any energy to summon bioelectricity.

But he still managed to do it. A spark of energy came from his fist, and it created a jumpstart to turn the platform on and it was becoming stable again. Peter crawled away from the panel and looked to see Ayyn seeming to realize he had done something.

"Oh, my God!" Ayyn appeared to be shocked by what Peter had done.

There were also a few others who seemed to notice what he had done but didn't even speak up. They sneaked off and knew that there would be some people who would be interested in the situation.

And that wasn't the only thing. Someone felt him reconnecting and using his powers.

The Dark Lord of the Sith.

Vader awakened in his chamber and basically sensed exactly where Peter was and knew where to find him.

"Peter Parker..."

Ayyn and Peter were walking to their respective homes when they decided to take a stroll together. As they walked, they attempted to converse, but Peter wasn't sure how to start. He knew he needed to explain certain aspects of what she had witnessed.

"What was that?" Ayyn asks him. "How did you do that? Are you a Jedi?"

"What? No." Peter denied. "Well, actually I was a member of the Jedi Order. Just not in the way that you are expecting."

Ayyn asked, "What are you doing down here? Shouldn't you be somewhere else, working on a way to help the galaxy?"

Peter sighed and acknowledged it was a good question. "I'm just trying to survive."

"Who's hunting you?" Ayyn wonders.

"Everyone," Peter muttered.

"Well, don't worry, I'll keep your secret," Ayyn promises him. "See you tomorrow."

The next day, Ayna was working at her job as if nothing had happened and was waiting for Peter to arrive. As she was moving crates, she stopped and was a little shocked when she saw there was a squad of Stormtroopers and an officer of the Empire standing at the entrance.

"We have begun to hear rumors." Officer Osborn stated as he marched into the workspace, getting everyone to stop working. He marched around and the troopers began to look around, inspecting the other workers around them. "A powerful force was here the other day."

She knew they must be talking about Ben (Peter) and wondered who had ratted him out. She looked around and watched as a trooper shoved one of the workers to show power.

"Exclude the information from us, and you will be rewarded," Osborn promises them. "Where is he?"

Ayyn wondered what to do when she saw Peter approaching from a small opening to the factory. She worried and knew he must be planning something, and she decided to step forward.

Ayyn said, "He's not here." Defending Peter, she added, "He left last night."

Osborn stopped and turned to face her with a look of anger. It seemed he was skeptical about that information and marched over towards her. "Did he now?" He then began to circle around her and noticed her shuttering. "Because we have kept all ships from leaving this planet for the past day."

Ayyn knew that lie was now dead in the gutter and was worried. "I...I just meant that he left the job. Said he wasn't coming back."

"So, you know him?" Osborn asks. "Sounds like you cared for him."

"I did," Ayyn stated. "But he left. I don't have any information that can be useful to you."

"Oh, I wouldn't say that," Osborn said as he walked up behind her. "I believe you can be of some use to us."

Then all of a sudden, Peter felt a presence unlike anything that he had ever felt before. It was as if his senses weren't warning him but screaming at him to run. He's never felt his senses go off like this since Thanos snapped his fingers, or when the clones turned on him. As he looked around, he noticed a dark figure looming in the distance. It was none other than the formidable Sith Lord, Darth Vader.

Realizing the danger that lay ahead, Peter sneaked off and hid away swiftly, trying to keep himself hidden from view. When the Sith Lord approached Ayyn, it was almost as if she knew he was a dangerous person, and she should not mess with him. Without even saying a word, Vader grabbed her by the throat and raised her up.

"Please," Ayyn begged. "I can't help you."

"You just might," Vader's voice filled the air, the robotic tone revealing no sign of emotion in it.

Then, before anyone could even flinch, Vader snapped her neck in his hand. Watching his friend die, Peter couldn't help but cry out in anger.

"No!" Peter exclaimed as he began to discharge bioelectricity without even trying.

When Vader turned to face him, Peter had already aimed his hands at the entire Empire team and sent his bio-electrical blast flying. The power was strong enough to send the troops, including Osborn, and even a few of his coworkers flying. But Vader on the other hand just raised his palm and it was almost like it absorbed the electricity.

Peter and Vader stood face to face, although a few feet apart with Peter on the street while Vader remained in the factory. Peter felt like he should recognize him, his senses going off and telling him to run, but he stood there. He was estranged from the man that stood before him.

But that was cut off when a trooper managed to get up and shoot at Peter, causing him to turn and run. He couldn't save his friend. It was too late for that. He needed to run and fight another day.

When the trooper tried to take another shot, Vader stopped him. "No. I want him alive."

Attempting to lose Vader amidst the maze of narrow alleyways and towering buildings, with each run and leap, Peter could hear the heavy mechanical breathing of Vader growing louder, indicating that the Sith Lord was somehow closing in.

"You cannot hide." Vader's voice echoed through the streets.

Peter ran and searched desperately for a way to escape. His heart pounded as he felt fear for the first time in over a year. Suddenly, his spider sense tingled, warning him of an impending attack. He spun around just in time to dodge a powerful lightsaber strike that sliced through the air. The clash of their skills and Vader's calculated strength filled the air as Peter struggled to evade the relentless battle.

Peter's rusty acrobatic maneuvers and web-slinging abilities allowed him to evade Vader's relentless pursuit, while his quick wit and sharp reflexes enabled him to land several blows on the Sith Lord. However, Vader's dark side powers proved to be a formidable challenge. He used the Force to hurl objects at Peter, attempting to break his concentration and wear him down. But Peter's agility and spider-like reflexes allowed him to dodge the debris with remarkable precision.

"Impressive." Vader congratulated him. Peter then leaped onto the wall and tried to crawl away when Vader reached and used the force to drag him down. "Most impressive."

As the chase continued, Peter was devising a plan. Swinging high above the city, he lured Vader into an open plaza. With a swift motion, he shot a grappling hook at a nearby flagpole and swung around it, creating a whirlwind of momentum. Launching himself towards Vader, Peter then charged forward, sending the Sith Lord sprawling to the ground. Seemed most of him was made out of tech of sorts, so the electrical strike actually seemed to injure him.

Seizing this opportunity, Peter sprinted toward the spacecraft yard, hoping to find a way to escape. When he made it to a nearby spacecraft, he hoped to find a way off the planet. But just as he reached the vessel, Vader rose to his feet, determined to prevent his escape. The Sith Lord then raised his palm and used the Force to stop the ship from taking off.

Thinking quickly, Peter used his old web shooters to web onto the Sith Lord, followed by webbing him and sending a charge of bioelectricity his way. Deflecting the lightning away from himself, he then leaped onto the spacecraft, activated its engines, and soared into the sky, leaving Darth Vader behind.

As Peter looked back at the alien planet, he couldn't help but feel a mixture of relief and determination. While he had managed to evade Darth Vader this time, he knew that their paths might cross again in the future. With his indomitable spirit and unwavering sense of responsibility, Peter vowed to protect not only himself but also countless others in the vast universe from the force of darkness.

He knew he had to stay hidden. It wasn't something he could fix overnight. He needed to stay hidden for some time. This Sith Lord was nothing like Dooku or Grievous.

Vader watched as the ship escaped and jumped into hyperspace, barely leaving the planet's atmosphere. This was not the end; after seeing how strong he had become, he would capture Peter and make him his apprentice. His power was growing stronger by the day. He needed to be caught.

That's when he ended up on Bracca… where the adventure truly began.
