AN: SORRY FOR THE LONG WAIT! I HAVE BEEN TAKING MY TIME PUTTING DETAILS INTO THIS! I'VE ALSO BEEN DOING MY FINALS! THANK YOU FOR BEING PATIENT! ANYWAYS HERE'S THE CHAPTER!

take my friend Lizuna and me to this private stretch of the beach…

"What?!" Komori shouted. "What is our captain doing there?" Everyone else seemed to be in shock as well. "Let's just continue to find out," Tendou suggested. When the cousins seemed calm enough Suna continued.

and me to this private stretch of the beach...

"Aunt Sally loves the beach," Osamu said fondly. Everyone smiled at his fondness.

And Paul let us… a short spin.

"Well, that's not responsible," Kinoshita said disappointed. Almost everyone couldn't help but share his sentiment. Even Osamu agreed. Sakusa is the only one who didn't. "Well, I trust Atsu enough, maybe Paul does too," he stated firmly. Osamu looked upset with himself for not trusting Atsumu behind the wheel.

Now I know what you're thinking.

Now Kinoshita raised an eyebrow.

Wow, that was… blah, blah, blah.

Kinoshita was now blushing while others were laughing.

But Paul knows me pretty well.

Now Atsumu's friends looked ashamed.

He has seen me slice demons…

"WHAT?!" Almost everyone shouted. "B- But demons aren't real!?" Narita stuttered. "Let's just continue so we can understand," Suna suggested while still slightly shocked.

And leap out… school buildings.

"What?!" Osamu and Sakusa yelled. "What have you been doing in America Atsumu?!" Osamu yelled at the book.

So he probably… I'd ever done.

"I'd say!" Sakusa stated in worry for the man he was falling for. Everyone looked at him confused but said nothing.

Anyway, Lizuna… was shirtless with his swim trunks on.

"Why's he staring?" Sakusa muttered to himself. Komori heard him though and patted his shoulder. "I didn't know they were close," Komori stated. Osamu looked at him, "Neither did I." Some looked at them in sympathy, while Suna continued.

I'd never seen him in anything, but his ratty T-shirts and paint-splattered jeans before (other than his volleyball uniform of course).

Some were shocked. "He wears that?" Ushijima asked the cousins. Komori nodded his head. "I've seen him dress like that sometimes." Some were still shocked about his attire choices.

And he looked like a million golden drachmas.

Sakusa looked hurt and jealous at the same time. Osamu, believing Sakusa liked Lizuna, felt terrible for the spiker. Komori gave him a one-armed hug, and Sakusa smiled at him.

"Oh, pull up… overlooking the Atlantic

"Tsumu loves the ocean," Kiyoomi whispered to himself. Those around had heard him though and looked confused.

The sea is one of my favorite places,

Those who had heard Sakusa before looked at him in surprise. "How did you know Atsumu loves the ocean?" Osamu asked. Kiyoomi looked at him, "I thought I already said that he is my best friend?" Some nodded as their confusion cleared up a bit.

But today… smooth as glass.

"That sounds lovely," Asahi stated. Others nodded in agreement.

As though… just for us.

Osamu looked confused. "But we never met our dad. He left before we were born…?" Others looked at him in sympathy and confusion.

My dad, by the way, is Poseidon.

"WHAT?!" Everyone shouted in surprise. "Our dad is a god?!" Osamu asked in shock. "But the gods aren't real…" Ushijima whispered to himself. "Let's just continue to gain more information," Suna suggested. Everyone agreed.

He can do stuff… sound excited.

"I think he failed at that," Kenma stated. "But why wouldn't he be excited?" Narita asked in confusion. The others just shrugged.

I mean… for three days.

"Captain's rich?" Komori asked. "I want to go on a trip like that," Asahi stated wistfully. Some of the others nodded in agreement. "Why wouldn't Atsumu be excited to go on a trip like this?" Kinoshita asked. Suna just continued reading so they could find the answer.

I didn't get… a couple of frozen pizzas

Osamu winced at this. Some of the others looked at him in pity.

And here Lizuna's… to the Caribean.

"Why wouldn't Tsumu take the offer?" Komori asked. The others were also confused. "If I had the opportunity I would go," Osamu stated. Others nodded their heads in agreement.

Besides, I seriously needed a vacation. This summer had been the hardest of my life. The idea of taking a break even for a few days was tempting.

"Even more reason to go!" Many shouted at the book. Sakusa looked concerned though, "How had this summer been the hardest of his life?" Osamu looked confused and worried as well. After Kyoomi asked that question though, many felt worried.

Still, something big was supposed to go down any day now. I was "on call" for a mission.

"Mission? What kind of mission could you be going on at 15?" Ushijima questioned. "He shouldn't be going on any mission," Osamu stated calmly. The ones closest to the people missing nodded in agreement.

Even worse, next week was my birthday.

Osamu looked hurt, "What's wrong with our birthday?" Sakusa looked at him with a concerned face, "I'm sure he didn't mean it like that. He loves you! When we hang out you are practically all he talks about. Not all of it is about your fights either."
Osamu looked at him shocked and a bit happier. "How about we read to find out why he said that," Suna suggested. Osamu nodded his head and the reading continued.

There was this prophecy that said when I turned sixteen, bad things would happen.

"Prophecy about his 16th birthday?" Satori asked. Komori looked worried, "I read a lot about the Greek and Roman myths. I just find it fascinating, you know." Others nod at him to continue. "Well, prophecies are mostly there to reveal something that is of the utmost importance at the time. But it is mostly revealed in riddles." Many looked pale at his explanation. "So, if there is one specifically about you and a specific date?" Sakusa asked in almost a whisper scared of the answer.
Komori looked at his cousin and Osamu apologetically, "It could mean that the fate of the world rests on his shoulders, or the fate of his life does." Osamu and Sakusa looked terrified at that. "It's only a theory though, it could mean something completely different," Komori said to try and clear the tension he had put into the atmosphere.

And it just hurts that I won't have the chance to celebrate my twin brother Osamu because if I do, it could put his life in danger and I will not take that chance.

Osamu and everyone else looked at the book with sadness and awe. "He's willing to spend our birthday apart just so I don't get mixed up in the danger that he is in?" Osamu asked feeling happy but worried. He didn't like the thought of his twin in danger, and neither did anyone else in the room.

"Atsumu," he said, "I know the timing is bad. But it's always bad for you, right?"

Osamu looked at the book in worry.

He had a point.

Osamu had an upset look on his face. Sugawara who had been quiet along with Daichi moved on either side of him and tried their best to comfort him.

"I want to go," I promised. "It's just—"

"Then go, if you want to," Omini stated as if it was that simple. Some of the other occupants of the room nodded in agreement with him. Asahi then spoke up, "If Komori's theory on prophecies is true then that vacation could do more damage than good." Sakusa looked disheartened along with Osamu.

"The war."

"WAR?!" Osamu roared. "What war?! You should NOT be anywhere near A WAR!" He shouted at the book. Kyoomi nodded his head in full agreement with his crush's brother.
Iwazumi then spoke for the first time since he asked about Oikawa. "Does that mean everyone missing is near or a part of that war?" Now everyone looked terrified. Yaku then yelled, "Lev better not be near that war!" "Let's just read to find out. That way we can figure out how much danger they are in," Ushijima stated. Everyone tried to calm themselves a bit then the reading continued.

I nodded. I wouldn't say I liked talking about it, but Lizuna knew.

"'Tsumu, you could have told me," Osamu muttered, feeling upset that he never noticed any change in his brother since he left for the summer.

Unlike most mortals, he could see through the Mist—the magic veil that distorts human vision. He'd seen monsters. He'd met some of the other demigods who were fighting the Titans and their allies.

"WHAT?!" Komori and Sakusa yelled at the book. "He's been around monsters?" Komori asked softly worried for his captain. Sakusa pushed aside his germaphobia for now and wrapped an arm around his cousin. Komori looked surprised but smiled at his cousin for the comfort he was giving.
"What does it mean about monsters though?" Satori asked confused. Kageyama then answered, "Well, we did find out the Greek gods could be real as Atsumu believes his dad is one. So, if the Greeks are real who is to say that the monsters from Greek mythology aren't real as well." Daichi and many of the others that knew him were shocked at his logical answer. Suga just looked at him proudly. "Let's just read to find out more," Satori said.'

He'd even been there last summer when the chopped-up Lord Kronos rose out of his coffin in a terrible new form, and he'd earned my permanent respect by nailing him in the eye with a blue plastic hairbrush.

"WHAT?!" Komori and Kageyama yelled. "He hit The King of the Titain's in the face with a blue plastic hairbrush?" Kageyama asked in shock and horror. Komori had the same look on his face.

He put his hand on my arm. "Just think about it, okay? We don't leave for a couple of days. My dad. . ." His voice faltered.

"He has family issues?" Tobio asked. Komori and Sakusa gave small nods. "I am not certain what the issues contain but I know he argues with them a lot," Komori informed the room.

"Is he giving you a hard time?" I asked. Lizuna shook his head in disgust.

The players from Itachiyama looked worried.

"He's trying to be nice to me, which is almost worse. He wants me to go to Clarion Gentlemen Academy in the fall."

The cousins were in shock. "They can't take Captain away can they?" Komori asked worriedly. The others just shrugged apologetically.

"The school where your dad went?" He nodded "It's a stupid finishing school for society guys, all the way in New Hampshire. Can you see me in a finishing school?"

The boys looked a little disgusted at the idea. They would never go to a finishing school.

I admitted the idea sounded pretty dumb. Lizuna was into urban art projects and feeding the homeless and going to protest rallies to "Save the Endangered Yellow-bellied Sapsucker" and stuff like that.

Others smiled at that. "He would never fit in at a finishing school," Komori stated with a smile.

I'd never even seen him wear a tux. It was hard to imagine him learning to be a socialite.

Everyone nodded in agreement at this.

He sighed. "He thinks if he does a bunch of nice stuff for me, I'll feel guilty and give in." "Which is why he agreed to let me come with you guys on vacation?"

"Wait that is why they asked him to go? So, Lizuna would agree to go to a finishing school?" Sakusa asked in anger. Komori and Osamu were visibly angry too.

"Yes . . . but Atsumu, you'd be doing me a huge favor. It would be so much better if you were with us. Besides, there's something I want to talk about—" He stopped abruptly.

Osamu narrowed his eyes at this, "Talk about what?" Sakusa also had his eyes narrowed at this.

"Something you want to talk about?" I asked. "You mean . . . so serious we'd have to go to St. Thomas to talk about it?"

Now many of the friends that were overprotective of Atsumu had their eyes narrowed.

He pursed his lips. "Look, just forget it for now. Let's pretend we're a couple of normal people. We're out for a drive, and we're watching the ocean, and it's nice to be together."

Many raised an eyebrow at this.

I could tell something was bothering him, but he put on a brave smile. The sunlight made his hair look like fire.

Osamu did not look pleased with this.

We'd spent a lot of time together this summer. I hadn't exactly planned it that way, but the more severe things got at camp, the more I found myself needing to call up Lizuna and get away, just for some breathing room.

Now the room looked worried. "Camp, what camp?" Osamu asked.

I needed to remind myself that the mortal world was still out there, away from all the monsters using me as their punching bag.

Osamu looked close to losing his mind. "Why didn't he ever talk to me? I might not fully understand, but I could try," Osamu said to himself. Many were looking at him with sympathy. Sakusa then butted in, "Why didn't he ever tell any of us that he was constantly in danger? What were we going to be told if he got seriously injured or worse?" Now many more of the room occupants were looking at them in sympathy and worry.

"Okay," I said. "Just a normal afternoon and two normal people." He nodded.

Many couldn't help but smile at this.

"And so . . . hypothetically, if these two people liked each other, what would it take to get the stupid guy to kiss the other guy, huh?"

Osamu was glaring at the book protectively. "No. No boys, girls, or anyone else. He's not allowed to date or kiss or anything," he hissed protectively. Sakusa was also glaring at the book but in jealousy. Why him? What does he have that I don't? I always try to push aside my germaphobia when it comes to Atsu, so why? Why is it HIM out of everyone?

"Oh . . ." I felt like one of Apollo's sacred cows—slow, dumb, and bright red.

Many people busted out laughing at this. "Why'd he call himself dumb?" Satori questioned. "He probably didn't realize that Lizuna liked him," Komori explained slowly. Komori knew Atsumu liked his cousin back but he promised the faux blonde that he wouldn't say anything. Sakusa looked a little put out at this, as did Osamu himself.

"Um . . ." I can't pretend I hadn't thought about Lizuna.

Sakusa looked upset at this. Osamu didn't look very happy with this either.

He was so much easier to be around than . . . well, than some other guys I knew.

Kiyoomi flinched at this. Am I one of the most difficult guys he's around? I try to lessen my phobia when he's around but was it not enough? Osamu noticed his flinch and slowly put the pieces together. He doesn't like Lizuna. He likes 'Tsumu, my twin. It makes so much more sense now. Osamu knew he shouldn't be happy about this, but he was. He liked Sakusa, he was just worried about his brother's heart. Atsumu is sensitive when it comes to some people. "I'm sure he didn't mean you Sakusa-san. He enjoys your company a lot. He speaks about you quite a bit at home." Osamu reassured the spiker.
Sakusa looked surprised but smiled at the comment.

I didn't have to work hard, watch what I said, or rack my brain trying to figure out what he was thinking.

Osamu looked concerned at this. As did many others. "They aren't real friends if they make you hide who you are," Suga said softly. Many agreed with him.

Lizuna didn't hide much. He let you know how he felt.

"That is true," Komori stated softly. Sakusa couldn't deny this. Lizuna-san did always speak the truth, never one to lie to you.

I'm not sure what I would have done next—but I was so distracted, I didn't notice the huge black form swooping down from the sky until four hooves landed on the hood of the Prius with a WUMP-WUMPCRUNCH!

"What?" Many questioned confused. Kageyama's eyes suddenly widened, "The pegasus!" Everyone turned to him, "What?" "At the beginning of the chapter, it stated how the end of the world started when a pegasus landed on his car." He explained, "The story has finally looped back to the point of the chapter." Now everyone nodded in understanding.

Komori and Satori were in complete awe. "Pegasi are real?" "I want one!" They stated together. Just about everyone laughed at this. Ushijima was just shocked they were real. Suna then decided to continue reading.

Hey, boss, a voice said in my head.

"He hears voices...?" Omini asked uncertainly. Suna then answered him, "It'll explain in a minute." Everyone just nodded at this.

Nice car! Blackjack the Pegasus was an old friend of mine,

"He's friends with a pegasus?" Komori asked in wonder. Sakusa chuckled at his cousin. Kageyama then stated, "Well, he did say his dad is Poseidon, and Poseidon is the creator of horses and pegasi." Komori then nodded at the explanation. He forgot about that. Osamu smiled at the thought that his brother is friends with Pegasi.

so I tried not to get too annoyed by the craters he'd just put in the hood, but I didn't think my uncle would be stoked.

Everyone snorted at this.

"Blackjack," I sighed. "What are you—" Then I saw who was riding on his back, and I knew my day was about to get a lot more complicated.

"Who?" Osamu said softly in worry. Sakusa looked upset, too. "Why would it get complicated?" Iwazumi looked worried, he knew he was being selfish, but he hoped it didn't have to do with his Tooru. Many others with missing people were thinking the same thing.

" 'Sup, 'Tsumu." Aran Ojiro,

Osamu's breath caught at this. "No, no, no," he muttered continuously to himself. The other players from Inarizaki looked worried too.

senior counselor for the Hephaestus cabin

Komori looked surprised, "He's a son of Hephaestus?" The Inarizaki players looked at him. "Who is Hephaestus?" Omini asked. "Hephestus is mostly known for being the god of blacksmiths and fire." He explained to them. "Think of him as the god of inventing and mechanics." The team nodded in understanding. They looked surprised and awed at the fact he is a son of a fantastic god.

would make most monsters cry for their mommies.

The Inarizaki players and others looked confused at the description but mostly laughed at it. "That is such an Atsu description," Sakusa said fondly. Komori nodded in agreement to his cousin.

He was huge, with ripped muscles from working on the forges every summer,

"That's how he built his muscles?" Akagi asked in awe.

a year older than me, and one of the camp's best armorsmiths, if not the best.

Everyone was looking at the book in surprise. "He's the best armorsmith at his camp?" Omini asked. Sakusa wasn't only focusing on that though. Some noticed that he was thinking of something else. "What are you thinking about Sakusa-san?" Kageyama asked softly. Everyone turned to Sakusa at this. "I was just thinking about the way that Atsu described him. His description is as though he admires him. I just found it endearing, in a way." He stated without thinking of his response. Many looked shocked at his reply. Osamu just smiled at him, "Well, Aran has been in our lives since middle school." Many of the others that didn't know this looked surprised. "That's quite a long time..." Omini stated. "Yeah, but even through our issues Aran stood by us. He never gave up on us, so 'Tsumu is very protective of him." Everyone nodded in understanding, but Aoba Johsai looked at each other and realized that they shouldn't have given up on Kageyama.

He made some seriously ingenious mechanical stuff. A month before, he'd rigged a Greek firebomb in the bathroom of a tour bus that was carrying a bunch of monsters across the country.

"What?! You both should not be doing anything dangerous?!" Osamu said looking at the book in worry for his brother and friend. Inarizaki looked at the book feeling the same way. "What is a Greek firebomb?" Omini asked in worry. Kageyama answered, "In the myths, Greek fire or firebombs were a type of fire that was everlasting to an extent. I believe they even stay burning when in contact with water."

Everyone looked at the book in horror. "Aran was working with that stuff to create weapons and machines?!" Suna asked in horror. This made everyone think about the dangers that everyone missing had faced or is facing.

The explosion took out a whole legion of Kronos's evil meanies as soon as the first harpy went flush.

Everyone started laughing at the wording that Atsumu used. "Oh, I love Atsumu's mind," Komori giggled slightly.

Aran was dressed for combat.

"No, please stay somewhere safe. No combat." Osamu whispered in fear.

He wore a bronze breastplate and war helm with black camo pants and a sword strapped to his side. His explosives bag was slung over his shoulder.

Everyone was staring at the book in worry. What trouble are they going to get themselves into?

"Time?" I asked. He nodded grimly.

"Time? Time for what?!" Osamu demanded from the book in worry. Komori asked nervously, "Is this the mission he was worried about being on call for?"
Everyone else seemed to realize this too and paled. "Please no..." Kiyoomi whispered to himself in worry.

A clump formed in my throat. I'd known this was coming. We'd been planning for it for weeks, but I'd half hoped it would never happen.

Everyone was in a full state of worry. If it was a mission that Atsumu was feared to go on, it was really dangerous. The people with someone their close to that are missing couldn't help but be even more worried.

Lizuna looked up at Aran. "Hi." "Oh, hey. I'm Aran. You must be Lizuna. Atsumu's told me . . . uh, I mean he mentioned you."

Some couldn't help but chuckle at Aran.

Lizuna raised an eyebrow. "Really? Good." He glanced at Blackjack, who was clopping his hooves against the hood of the Prius.

Osamu couldn't help but chuckle because he knew that Uncle Paul wouldn't be happy about this. The others were laughing a bit a this too.

"So I guess you guys have to go save the world now." "Pretty much," Aran agreed.

Everyone was back to being worried. "But you're kids! You shouldn't have to save the world!" Suga said to the book. Kageyama looked at his vice-captain. "I'm sorry, Suga but in Greek mythology, kids are the soldiers needed to fight the battles the gods can't or don't want to. Their just pawns to the gods."
Many looked sick at what Kageyama said, while Komori nodded sadly as he knew this. Osamu looked on the verge of breaking down, as were a few others.

I looked at Lizuna helplessly. "Would you tell my aunt— " "I'll tell her. I'm sure she's used to it. And I'll explain to Paul about the hood."

Osamu made a small whimpering noise realizing that Atsumu and Aran are doing something dangerous.

"Good luck." Lizuna kissed me before I could even react. "Now, get going, half-blood. Go kill some monsters for me."

"Lizuna did WHAT?!" Osamu demanded feeling angry and protective. Sakusa was raging in jealousy. 'How dare he kiss Atsu! Why can Lizuna kiss Atsu and not me?!' Many of Atsumu's overprotective friends were seething too.

My last view of him was sitting in the shotgun seat of the Prius, his arms crossed, watching as Blackjack circled higher and higher, carrying Aran and me into the sky. I wondered what Lizuna wanted to talk to me about, and whether I'd live long enough to find out.

Osamu and many others stiffened at that. "Don't think like that 'Tsumu! You and everyone else there are going to be fine! You and Aran are going to be fine!" Osamu told the book seriously.

"So," Aran said, "I'm guessing you don't want me to mention that little scene to Osamu."

Osamu raised an eyebrow at this.

"Oh, gods," I muttered. "Don't even think about it."

Osamu was muttering to himself about keeping all the boys and girls away from his brother.

Aran chuckled, and together we soared out over the Atlantic. It was almost dark by the time we spotted our target. The boat: Princess Andromeda glowed on the horizon—a huge cruise ship lit up yellow and white.

"Why are they going to a cruise ship?" Omini asked confused, as were many others.

From a distance, you'd think it was just a party ship, not the headquarters for the Titan lord.

"WHAT?! WHY ARE THEY GOING TO THE HEADQUARTERS?!" Komori asked in horror. Kageyama's face paled at the thought. "Who exactly is the Titan lord?" Omini asked them. Everyone turned towards Komori and Kageyama. "Kronos was the most powerful god of his generation. The Titans were the gods who ruled the cosmos before the Olympians, and Kronos was their leader. Kronos is known as the god of time, the golden age of men." Kageyama explained. Komori picked up where he left off, " Cronus learned from Gaia and Uranus that he was destined to be overcome by his own children, just as he had overthrown his father. As a result, although he sired the gods Demeter, Hestia, Hera, Hades, and Poseidon by Rhea, he devoured them all as soon as they were born to prevent the prophecy. There was a whole war when Zeus freed his siblings from his father's stomach. He isn't someone to be messed with." Everyone paled at their explanation. "Why are they going to his headquarters?" Osamu asked in worry for his twin and friend.

Then as you got closer, you might notice the giant figurehead- a dark-haired maiden in a Greek chiton, wrapped in chains with a look of horror on her face, as if she could smell the stench of all the monsters she was being forced to carry.

Some couldn't help but chuckle at his descriptions.

Seeing the ship again twisted my gut into knots. I'd almost died twice on the Princess Andromeda.

"WHAT?!" Everyone yelled, Osamu and Sakusa being the loudest of them all. "No, please don't get hurt 'Tsumu." Osamu was so worried right now.

Now it was heading straight for New York.

Everyone that was close to someone missing from the room was looking extremely worried.

"You know what to do?" Aran yelled over the wind. I nodded. We'd done dry runs at the dockyards in New Jersey, using abandoned ships as our targets. I knew how little time we would have. But I also knew this was our best chance to end Kronos's invasion before it ever started.

Everyone couldn't help but agree with this. If there was any chance of stopping an invasion, this may be it. Osamu and Sakusa were practically on the edge of their seats in worry. They didn't like this at all, It may be a good idea, but there were people they cared about doing this dangerous task.

"Blackjack," I said, "set us down on the lowest stern deck."

Osamu didn't know why but he suddenly felt his stomach drop. And after looking around he realizes he's not the only one. His entire team was feeling anxious at the mention of them getting off the pegasi Blackjack.

Gotcha, boss, he said. Man, I hate seeing that boat.

Three years ago, Blackjack had been enslaved on the Princess Andromeda until he'd escaped with a little help from my friends and me.

"What?! That poor pegasi," Suga stated feeling sorry for the pegasi. "He's been in danger since he was at the very least 12?" Komori asked in worry. Osamu and Sakusa's stomachs dropped. Omini's mouth dried, "What do you mean?" "Well it said 3 years ago he saved Blackjack with some friends, and since he's 15 it would only make sense if he had started doing this since he was 12." Everyone looked even more pale than before.

I figured he'd rather have his mane braided like My Little Pony than be back here again.

There were a few laughs at this. "Oh, Atsu... never change," Sakusa whispered to himself, but Komori and Osamu heard him. Komori just smiled at his cousin, but Osamu was still feeling protective of his twin, so he didn't let his smile show.

"Don't wait for us," I told him.

"No, let him wait," Osamu told the book the tension seeping back into the room slowly.

But, boss —

"Trust me," I said. "We'll get out by ourselves."

"No, 'Tsumu please," Osamu whispers to the book feeling like something is going to go wrong.
