"Get out of the pendant!" the Master said, angry that his plan was beginning to fall apart.

"Is that where I'm in now?" Seivad replied, "Explains the feeling that I am connected to this place. Now to scrub any competitor from this device..." The pendant ended up shaking for a second, learning everything about the Cyberium he was sharing the pendant with. "Ah, now it's only me and the Cyberium."

"...meaning that all traces of the Master have been erased from there." The Doctor finished while standing up.

The Master took the news poorly. "Every time!" he said in fury, "Every time I try to have something going for me, youcome along and ruin it, Doctor! All the times that things would go right for me, you appear!"

"Oh, calm down, Koschei!" Magnus interjected, "You're acting like a baby."

"I am not Koschei! I am the Master! Your Master, and I will be nowhere lower than that! If nothing is going to go my way, I will destroy this damn vessel myself!"The Master got to a button that was near a stool and pressed it. The self-destruction sequence had begun. "I will see all of youin Hell!" He got inside of the stool and dematerialised it. Now it was the Doctor, Seivad, Magnus, Jessica, and Khaldun all having to deal with the exploding ship.

"Okay, Seivad." The Doctor said in a hurry, "If you want to live, you will come with us."

"I do." Seivad replied before noticing Jessica, "Oh, the woman who stopped me on Earth."

"Now's not the time, you candy-obsessed freak!" Jessica yelled back, "This ship's about to explode!"

Seivad nodded. He was mad, but not stupid. If he wanted his wish to survive to come true, he had to disconnect from the ship. All the screens shut down and the pendant was released from the box. The Doctor gave it to Magnus. "Take this microchip alongside this pendant." she said, "I'm sure the Time Lords will see use in it."

"Thanks for everything, Theta Sigma." Magnus replied before running to his TARDIS with the pendant.

"Jessica. Khaldun. There's only one thing we can do at this point."

"What is it?" Khaldun asked.

The Doctor smiled widely. "Run." The trio ran as fast as they could. They managed to get from the cockpit to the cargo hold in no longer than a few minutes, finally getting into the TARDIS alongside the prisoners freed by Magnus. "Right, everyone, hold on tight!" The Doctor dematerialised the TARDIS just as the Cyberking was about to explode. The Cyberking ended up being reduced to no more than a few pieces of imploded silver rubble, eternally flying in the barrengood of space. The Master's plan went up in smoke once more.

14th of February, 8530

Kramakol, Thremokas

Over seven-thousand years after the Oxyvore was slain, the TARDIS materialised under the grey sky of Thremokas. It was the nearest available living planet the Doctor could find. The TARDIS ended up in a courtyard in front of the citadel of Kramakol, Thremokas' capital city. The Doctor, Jessica, Khaldun, and the escapees all left the TARDIS with the king of Thremokas waiting outside it. "You must be the Doctor." the bearded king said.

"I am, and I have a request." the Doctor replied.

"Anything for the woman who saved our planet. What is it that you want?"

"I have some escaped prisoners from a Cyberman prison ship. These are innocent folks whose lives were saved from being reduced to mechanical zombies. My wish is for you to take these people in. They will be of no harm to you, they just want a peaceful life. And besides, you can find where they came from and put them back there. Is that good, king..."

"Fulkrum. King Fulkrum the Third, and yes, I shall take these kind people in, all for you."

"Thank you, although I would also for me and my companions to rest here for a bit."

"Companions, plural? I thought you had only one when you had slain the tree of flesh."

"This women to my right is Jessica Burgess, the companion I had gotten since I last came here."

"Hey." Jessica responded, "Do the rest of your kind have wings for ears?"

"They merely resemble wings, Miss Burgess."

"You didn't need to be a jerk about it."

Fulkrum looked back at the Doctor. "Let's begin the festivities, Doctor."

The group rested for a few hours, enjoying the festivities given to them by the hospitality of the Thremokans. By the time that the festivities were over and the escapees were escorted off of the planet, the trio said their goodbyes and went back into the TARDIS. "Oh." the Doctor said, I just noticed the date."

Khaldun moved right beside the Doctor. "What's so important about the date, Doctor?"

"It's the Fourteenth of February, Saint Valentine's Day."

"I do not celebrate it. It is a heretical feast."

"Khaldun, I know you are a Muslim and its relationship with Christianity is iffy, but the day is celebrated as a day of love. Maybe you can use it as a day of remembrance."

"Remembrance? Of my wife and sons?"

"Yeah," Jessica remarked, "that's not a good idea, Doctor."

"I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but-"

"But you have a time machine! Take me to the point where I can save my wife and sons from drowning in the sea."

"Abdurahman, I can't do that, as much as I want to. The fabric of time and space will rapidly deteriorate."

"I remember you told me the exact same thing when we landed on the USS Pickering, and I do recall that the ship that Khaldun's family was on also had no confirmed deaths."

"You're pulling that card?"

"Doctor, I had taken care of you, stopped Anatolia from sinking, and protected you from a horde of metal men. For once, can you do me a favour and save my family?"

The Doctor thought about it for a minute before making her decision. "It would be poor social cohesion if we kept bickering, and you're right, I do owe you a favour." The Doctor set the coordinates and got the TARDIS warmed up before getting to the lever. "Alright, Khaldun. Let's get your family back home."
