Chapter 1: "The Vengeance Within"
The night hung heavy with sorrow as the villagers of Konoha gathered beneath the watchful gaze of the Hokage Monument. It was a night etched into their collective memory—the anniversary of the Nine-Tails' devastating attack on their village. Yet, this night bore an even darker weight, for it was also the fifth birthday of Naruto Uzumaki, a child burdened with a fate that had always set him apart.
In a forsaken corner of the village, Naruto ran, oblivious to the festivities and the perilous chase unfolding around him. The villagers pursued him with relentless hatred, their faces twisted with fear. Naruto had always been an outcast, shunned and despised for the very demon sealed within him.
He sprinted through moonlit streets, their taunts and curses echoing in his ears. But tonight, their animosity had escalated beyond reason, driven by the primal fear of the Nine-Tails.
Cornered and outnumbered, Naruto fell prey to their merciless assault. Blow after merciless blow descended upon him, reducing him to a pitiful, broken state. His body was a tapestry of agony, every bone shattered, his once-vibrant face a grotesque mask of blood and bruises.
As Naruto's life force waned, so too did the life of the Nine-Tails. The beast, imprisoned within Naruto for all these years, had always been a captive of its host's mortality. Desperate to avoid its own demise, the Nine-Tails summoned the chakra signatures hidden within Naruto – the remnants of its despised enemies, the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, and his previous host, Kushina Uzumaki.
As Minato and Kushina materialized, they initially believed the Nine-Tails was behind the gruesome scene.
Minato: "Fox, what have you done?"
Kushina: "Fox, I will kill you!"
The Nine-Tails, angered by the accusations, projected a vivid memory of a young Naruto, smiling and playing alone on a swing, a stark contrast to the battered boy before them.
Nine-Tails: (snarling) "Don't blame me for this! Look at what your precious village did to him!"
Kushina: (voice trembling with grief and anger) "Minato, look at what they've done to our son. How could this happen?"
Minato: (eyes filled with tears) "I can't believe this, Kushina. Our Naruto... he deserved better. I wanted him to be a hero, to protect this village."
Their hearts ached with the anguish of parents who had been powerless to shield their child from unspeakable suffering.
Nine-Tails: (growling) "You fools! You're just as responsible for this as they are! You sealed me inside this child and left him to their mercy."
Kushina: (voice filled with sorrow) "We didn't know it would come to this. We had to protect the village."
Minato: (voice filled with guilt) "We should have been here for him. We should have watched over him."
Kushina: (weeping) "Minato, we have to find a way to save him. We can't let our son die like this."
Minato: (voice filled with desperation) "I don't know what to do, Kushina. We can't heal him in time."
Naruto's life finally flickered out. Minato and Kushina, their hearts heavy with grief, anger, and desperation, gazed upon the lifeless body of their son. They could no longer contain their emotions.
Kushina: (sobbing) "Minato, it's everyone, Jiraiya, Kakashi, Hiruzen... and the village itself. They let Naruto suffer like this!"
Minato: (clenching his fists) "I know, Kushina. I can't forgive them for this. We gave our lives for this village, and they let our son live in torment. We will get our revenge. We will destroy Konoha."
As Minato and Kushina grappled with the harrowing reality of their son's death, their minds raced for a solution, driven by desperation and an insatiable thirst for vengeance.
Kushina: (teary-eyed) "Minato, there must be something we can do. We can't just let them get away with this."
Minato: (clenching his fists) "I know, Kushina. I can't bear the thought of Naruto suffering like this while those who should have protected him turned a blind eye."
They contemplated their options, their hearts heavy with the weight of the injustice that had befallen their son. In their search for a way to avenge Naruto's suffering, they turned to the knowledge they had acquired as ninja, their grief-fueled determination pushing them forward.
Minato: (thoughtful) "Kushina, there's a forbidden jutsu, a dark art that could allow us to exact revenge. It's known as the 'Soul Summons.' We can use it to bring forth a soul and make it inhabit Naruto's body. With the help of the new strong soul, the fox will have enough time to heal the wounds."
Kushina: (nodding) "We need something that can overpower the village and everyone who allowed this to happen. How can this soul help us with that?"
Minato: (grim determination in his eyes) "We have the Nine-Tails' chakra with us, and with it, we can summon the most evil and powerful soul. It's a desperate gamble, but it's the only way that we may get our revenge. I don't believe that such an evil soul will be kind to Konoha. It will also have the power of the fox and the body of our son. With all these assets, it is a recipe for disaster."
Kushina: (resolute) "I'm with you, Minato. Let's do it. Let's make them pay for what they've done to Naruto."
Together, Minato and Kushina channeled the dark chakra of the Nine-Tails, intertwining it with their own. Their hands weaving intricate seals, and their voices reciting incantations that sent shivers down their spines.
Minato: (whispering) "May this malevolent soul be born from the depths of darkness and bring forth our vengeance."
Kushina: (chanting) "By the sacrifice of our love and the suffering of our son, let the very essence of evil be summoned."
As they completed the incantation, a portal to the spirit realm crackled with ominous energy before them. They could feel an overwhelming malevolence seeping through the rift, a force that would soon inhabit the lifeless body of Naruto and serve as the instrument of their vengeance.
Minato and Kushina, their hearts filled with grief and hatred for the village that had forsaken their son, could only hope that the malevolent soul they had summoned would be wicked enough to destroy Konoha.
The Nine-Tails, watching their desperate actions with twisted amusement, couldn't resist taunting them further.
Nine-Tails: (sinister laughter) "You pitiful humans, driven to the brink by your own failure. This malevolent soul you seek... you'll regret summoning it. But go ahead, fuel your vengeance. It's the least I can do for your misery."
Minato and Kushina, undeterred by the taunts of the Nine-Tails, were determined to see their dark plan through, no matter the cost.
Meanwhile, in a world far removed from the shadows of ninja villages, a different kind of power broker held sway. Gideon Soras, a man of ninety-nine years, was notorious for his ruthlessness and self-centeredness. He had left a trail of destruction across nations, amassing power through manipulation, subterfuge, and the callous pursuit of his own ambitions.
Gideon's actions spoke volumes of his viciousness. He had orchestrated economic collapses, plunging entire populations into poverty and chaos, only to profit from their suffering. He had sowed discord among nations, stoking conflicts for his personal gain while millions suffered the consequences of his machinations.
His legacy was one of destruction and despair, a testament to his relentless pursuit of power and wealth. He had bought politicians, judges, and media outlets, turning them into mere puppets to further his agenda. The organizations he controlled were mere instruments of his ambition, serving his interests above all else.
Gideon's obsession with immortality was driven by his insatiable greed. He had spared no expense in his quest, assembling a consortium of scientists from various fields—quantum physics, artificial intelligence, and cutting-edge science echnologies. His experiment aimed to transfer his consciousness into a computer, effectively granting him the immortality he craved.
As he stood on the precipice of this audacious experiment, Gideon felt a fear he hadn't known since his early childhood. It was a fear born from his darkest days, when he had betrayed his compatriots to the Nazis to ensure his own survival. That cold, ruthless pragmatism had carried him through life, but it had also left him haunted by the ghosts of his past.
However, something went catastrophically wrong in the experiment. As Gideon's consciousness was uploaded into the quantum computer, he discovered the existence of his own soul. It was a revelation that shattered the boundaries of science, as his soul's trajectory veered off the expected path, hurtling through the cosmos.
Time lost all meaning as Gideon's soul was drawn like a magnet through the vast expanse of the universe. After an unknown and disorienting span of time, he regained consciousness, finding himself in an unfamiliar body.
As he opened his eyes, excitement welled up within him, and he couldn't contain his laughter. His laughter echoed through the room, a sinister chuckle that marked the beginning of his new existence—an existence that would challenge the very fabric of reality.
