Let's just say I rewatched an episode of The Amazing World of Gumball, recalled an old parody fic I once read, and got inspired.

Don't forget to R and R!

On a sunny day on the Destiny Islands…

It was a beautiful day, if Sora did say so himself. He even said it at loud to his best friend, Riku, and his other two friends, Donald and Goofy as he lounged on the sands of Play Island. "Today sure is a beautiful day, guys."

"You said it, Sora," Donald quacked.

Goofy nodded, "Hyuck, it sure is!"

Riku said nothing, but smiled in agreement, in fond remembrance of childhood memories long passed.

There truly was no other world like the Destiny Islands. To be sure, it was small, and surrounded by large bodies of water (the ocean included). But the day was sunny and the birds were chirping, and the beach was so inviting. Destiny Islands may be tiny, but it was beautiful.

Then again, Sora might be a bit biased; Destiny Islands was his home world after all.

And speaking of beauty…

"Oh, hey," said Riku as he glanced over Sora's shoulder. "I see Kairi is here too." He waved.

Sora swirled his head around, eager to see the beautiful titian haired girl he was in love with. But instead he saw—

"What. Is. THAT!"

"THAT" turned out to be a certain redheaded duo sitting together, with the taller redhead poking at the shorter redhead's forehead, with the shorter one glaring up at him with a pouty frown.

"It's just Axel and Kairi, they're just goofing off like they usually do." said Riku. "It's nothing new."

Sora frowned. "Yeah, I guess," he reluctantly agreed. "It's just…the two of them have been hanging out with each other a lot lately," he grumbled. "Yesterday, and the day before that, and the day before that, and the day before that…"

Riku laughed. "What, are you jealous?" He smacked Sora's shoulder gently. "Come on, man, they're just friends, you got nothing to worry about."

Sora laughed in relief, "You're right, they're just friends, it's not like being buddy-buddy is going change anythin—"

Then his eyes saw a horrifying sight.

The sight of Kairi laughing.

At Axel's jokes.

At Axel's jokes.

Riku became concerned at Sora's ominous silence. "Hey, buddy, you okay?" he asked. "You're not that upset at Kairi hanging out with Axel, are you? They're just joking around, nothing more—"

"That's how it all starts!" Sora(?) suddenly roared. "First he cracks funny jokes with her, the next thing you know he's making kissy faces at her!"

Wisps of green spilled out of his maw as his eyes turned a deadly shade of green.

In other words, he looked exactly like he normally looked in Rage Form, only greener and clearly more insane.

"Dude, what the f—!" Riku leaped back in alarm.

"SORA!" Donald squawked out.

"Gawsh, is he all right?" asked Goofy.

Nobody answered him.

The Next Day…

Sora had seemingly calmed down from his jealousy-induced rage, and was acting pretty normal in Riku's opinion. In fact, he seemed so unfazed that the two decided to go visit Twilight Town to get some ice cream (preferably something besides sea-salt, hopefully).

Sadly, that all came to an end when Roxas swung by with Xion. "Hey, Sora, how's everything going?" He pointedly ignored Riku, who merely frowned at being snubbed.

"Roxas! Xion! Hey, you two! Haven't seen you in a while," Sora waved at his two younger siblings (in bond if not in blood, no matter what Roxas says).

Xion waved back, smiling happily. "Well, we have been busy in Twilight Town. Isa has been helping us with school, we have part-time jobs now, and Hayner, Pence, and Olette are teaching us the Eight Wonders of Twilight Town!"

"I told them most of them are just pure myths, but I think that just made Pence more determined to prove me wrong," Roxas muttered under his breath.

Riku snickered, "Looks like things are going well for the two of you."

Xion beamed. "Yeah! I'm just glad the three of you decided to visit today! It really makes the day brighter!"

Sora opened his mouth to agree with Xion when her words sank in. "Wait…the three of us?"

Xion blinked. "Yeah, didn't Kairi come here with you guys? We saw her talking to Axel on our way here."

"..."

Riku smiled weakly. "Oh…so Kairi came here to talk to Axel. Nothing weird about that, right, Sora?" he tried to joke. He received nothing but silence in return.

"..."

"...Sora?" Riku turned to look at his best friend only to leap back in terror as Sora positively frothed in the mouth! "SORA?!"

"THAT PYROMANIAC, GIRL STEALING, CHILI RED HAIRED, ASSASSIN WANNABE, ICE CREAM LOVING FREAK! HE'S GOING TO PAY!" Sora (?) roared.

Xion shrieked and Roxas actually jumped backwards. "What the heck!"

"Sora! What is going on with you?" Riku demanded. (And no, he wasn't hiding behind a bush when he asked that question.)

If Roxas pulled out Oathkeeper and Oblivion, it was only because he wanted to protect Xion who was practically whimpering behind him, nothing more, nothing less. "Yeah, why do you hate Axel so much?"

"BECAUSE HE'S TRYING TO STEAL MY GIRL!" was all Sora (?) said before he ran off.

Elsewhere in Twilight Town, Lea finished off his popsicle with one final lick before grinning victoriously. "Hah, a winner!" he said triumphantly.

Kairi, standing right next to him, childishly stuck her tongue at him. "No fair! You knew you were getting a winning stick!"

"That's just 'cause my luck is that good! Don't feel bad, princess, you'll get it next time."

("RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA—)

"Yeah, right! Something tells me you're going to cheat."

"No way! Axel never cheats! Got it memorized?"

(—AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA—)

"You're just going to rub it in my face….do you hear that?"

"Hear what?"

"—AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Sora skidded right to a stop and tried to punch Lea. Key word: TRIED.

He didn't even make contact.

Lea blinked. "Do you feel a small breeze from behind?"

"Sora!" Kairi scolded. "What are you doing?"

"What are you doing? Hanging out with this loser instead of me!" Sora(?) kept trying to hit Lea, but his attacks just kept sliding off.

Kairi got up with a huff. "You're acting weird, Sora! C'mon, Axel, let's go somewhere else."

Lea shrugged. "Eh, fine by me." Thus the two walked off without a single care in the world, leaving Sora behind them.

"Kairi, wait!" Sora pleaded. "It's not what you think!"

"Yes it is!" he(?) rasped.

"Shut up!" Sora punched himself in the face with his right hand.

"You shut up, you loser!" he(?) retorted.

"You're the loser, you insecure weirdo!" Sora snapped.

Then his left hand curled up. "Oh."

Whack!

Sora fainted…then got back up with a wicked gleam in his(?) eyes.

"Heh. Looks like I have to settle this my own way!" he cackled.

"...damn." Roxas whistled. Xion nodded, wide-eyed.

"And the case is closed!" Sora(?) pointed dramatically. "Master Yen Sid! Take away his keyblade!"

Yen Sid blinked. "...what are you talking about, Sora?"

Sora had dragged Riku, Kairi, and Lea to the Mysterious Tower, whereupon Sora immediately accused Lea of committing a heinous crime in front of Yen Sid.

"The case of the missing spellbook, which I found wrapped in Axel's Organization coat."

Sora(?) held up said coat, which did look a lot like Axel's old Organization coat...if it had been worn 10 years ago. It also looked an awful lot like Roxas's Organization coat (which Sora conveniently borrowed only yesterday).

Lea rolled his eyes. "...okay, I see what's going on here."

Kairi squinted at Sora. "You did this, didn't you, Sora?"

"Hehe, uh, I gotta go," Sora (?) mumbled before shaking his head furiously (like a dog) and perking up. "Whoa, what just happened?"

"You tried to frame Axel, that's what happened." Riku deadpanned.

"And I bet if we check your gummiship, we're going to find a pair of gloves that match Roxas's coat, plus an empty bottle of invisibility potion." Axel deduced.

"Uh, okay?" Sora led the way to the gummiship but once he got there:

"Dude, I wouldn't do this if I were you."

"Wait, why?" Sora demanded. "What did you make me do?"

Sora opened the door to the gummiship.

…and out fell a whoopie cushion, some push pins, a hand machine, and for some reason, a vacuum cleaner?

Sora gaped. "What the heck is this?!"

"Uh…Plan B?"

Everyone in the room looked at Sora in shock. He nervously chuckled.

"Well, at least there isn't any invisibility potion whatsoever—"

CRASH! And there goes the empty bottle of the invisibility potion, now broken to pieces, with the remaining contents soaking a very familiar pair of black gloves.

"...oops?"

10 Minutes Later…

Sora hung his head. Flanked by Donald and Goofy, he was forced to make eye contact with the three Masters(well two Masters and one pseudo-Master) in the room. (Excluding Riku, who recused himself out of "biased opinion".)

"I'm sorry for everything that's happened lately. I can't really explain why I did what I did. Look, if you need to take away my keyblade to punish me, go ahead. Just do it quickly so it won't hurt so much." Sora braced himself for his inevitable punishment.

Aqua, Terra, and Yen Sid glanced at each other in confusion. "Sora, we don't take away keyblades for the simple crime of lying." said Yen Sid.

Sora blinked. "...you don't?"

"Of course not." assured Terra. "What kind of Masters would we be if we did that? Plus, who here hasn't lied at least once in their life?"

(Aqua considered raising her hand, but thought better of it.)

"Well, then good luck finding me in Arendelle!" Sora (?) cackled as he took off…

…and ran straight into Goofy's shield. "Oof!"

5 minutes later (Not including the 10 times Sora smacked his face into Goofy's shield)...

"Sora, will you try to get along with Axel now?" implored Kairi.

Sora, holding an ice bag to his face (because Donald refused to use his magic), sighed in defeat. "...okay."

Later That Afternoon…

Sora and Lea were forced to spend time in the Deep Jungle, hunting Heartless, gathering ingredients, and snapping photos of unidentified species for future world explorers .

You know, normal bonding activities for two people on edge with each other.

At some point, someone (most likely Lea) called for a break, so the two of them sat down in the shades of some trees. Sora closed his eyes as he enjoyed the calming echoes of a nearby river.

Lea stretched his arms out and yawned. "You know, it's nice spending time together. Never thought you and I could get along so well, after everything."

Sora laughed. "Yeah, I guess you can say it was a bit of a SURPRISE! !" He shouted gleefully as he slammed on a shackle to Lea's left ankle. Still cackling, he shoved Lea backwards—

"Sora, what the he—!?"

—and watched as Lea toppled into the river with a very loud SPLASH!

Lea snarled. "Sora, you little—!" He paused as he felt something slick brush past him. He turned just in time to see a pack of very big, very hungry piranhas with very big shiny teeth.

…Did he mention they were very hungry?

"AAAAHHHHH!" Lea screamed and tried to climb out of the river. Key word: TRIED.

He failed because of the anchor weighing him down. (Thank you, Jack Sparrow, for being such a terrible influence on Sora.)

Sora(?) smirked. "I see you've met my hungry little friends, Axel." He snickered and pointed at his temple in a mockery of Axel's trademark catchphrase. "Be nice to them and you won't get your just desserts!" He frowned. "No, I can do better than that." He turned around and pointed at his temple again.

"Get it memorized: you'll never escape from the jaws of fate!" He frowned again. "No, one more time." Once again, he pointed at his temple.

"Time for you to memorize what fire…does…inah, forget it, you know what I mean." He nonchalantly walked off into the distance, ignoring Lea's cries behind him.

"SOOORRRRAAAAAAAAA! ! ! !"

Back in Twilight Town, Sora and Kairi were having brunch together at Le Grand Bistro, courtesy of Little Chef.

"I'm so glad you and Axel are getting along again, Sora." A relieved Kairi smiled, though her smile dimmed slightly as she glanced around. "Speaking of Axel, I wonder what's taking him so long?" She bit her lips in worry. "He said he was going to be here two hours ago."

"Don't worry about Axel, Kairi. I'm sure there's nothing eating away at him." Sora sniggered. "Nailed it~!" he said in a sing-song tone.

BAM!

"KAIRI!" A filthy, drenched, but still very much alive Lea, covered in bloody bite marks from head to toe (with one piranha still chewing away at his now mangled hair) stood in the doorway. "GET AWAY FROM HIM, HE'S GONE INSANE!"

"Axel!" Sora(?) snarled. "I thought I anchored you at the river!"

"You did! But I portaled myself out of there." Lea gestured to his leg, which, sure enough, was still chained to a very heavy, though now rusty, anchor.

"Oh no! Axel, are you okay?" Concerned, Kairi was about to get up when she was overtaken by a green blur! "Sora!"

"GET AWAY FROM HER!" Sora(?) all but roared as he tackled Lea to the ground.

"SHE LOVES ME! SHE LOVES YOU NOT! SHE LOVES ME! SHE LOVES YOU NOT! " Sora(?) screamed as he repeatedly slapped Lea (and the piranha still stuck in his hair) senseless in the face. He continued struggling even when Riku and Roxas came by and managed to wrestle him away from Lea, while Xion plucked the piranha and tossed it away.

"We've got to stop this!" Roxas yelped. "I don't even recognize him anymore."

Naminé chose that moment to pop out of nowhere. "I know what to do."

Two Hours Later…

The entire gang (plus a jealousy-crazed Sora) all gathered in the throne room of the castle in the Land of Departure, where Naminé proceeded to set up the room to resemble an exorcism.

Naminé finished lighting the last candle in the room. "Okay, now we just have to form a circle around Sora."

Xion squinted. "What's that on the floor?"

"Pepper spray. Supposedly, it's meant to keep Jealousy out of our reach and contained in the circle." answered Naminé.

Isa lifted an eyebrow. "'Jealousy?'" he echoed incredulously.

Naminé nodded and explained, "It's possessing him at the moment and making him act weird. It has to be expelled!"

Riku carefully approached the circle, where a now feral looking Sora (with a greenish tint to the face) prowled around.

"Sora! If you're still in there, type a message on my Gummiphone." He held out his Gummiphone.

Sora stared at the phone before pushing some buttons and nodded at Riku when he was done typing. Riku lifted the phone to his face.

"Tuning…on…opened…is…hats,"* Riku read aloud. He sighed, "Yeah, that's Sora, all right. Only he could mistype words with AutoCorrect on."

Naminé nodded. "Good, it's not too late. Now we need to present the root of Jealousy to Sora."

All eyes landed on Lea. He held his hands up in protest.

"Yeah, I'd rather not—oof!" Lea stumbled from a sudden push. A quick whirl led him to identify the culprit easily. "Isa, you traitor!"

Isa coolly lifted an eyebrow before stepping back into place alongside the others, all of whom have taken a giant step back from Lea and the circle of pepper spray.

Lea grumbles in annoyance before turning back to the caged Sora and awkwardly waving. "...Hey?"

" Grrrrr! !" Sora (?) lashed out, growling and hissing.

Lea quickly ran back to join the others.

Wanting to get the entire thing done and over with, Terra asked, "Naminé, what's the next step?"

"Everyone, form a circle and hold hands." Almost everyone proceeded to follow Naminé's instructions. Naminé sighed in exasperation. "Riku, Roxas, that means you too!"

Roxas grumbled but obediently stuck his hand out to Riku, who, after staring at it for 10 minutes, quickly grasped it like a grenade waiting to be blown up.

"Now, comes the hard part. Repeat after me: Jealousy be gone. Jealousy be gone."

Slowly, everyone proceeded to follow Naminé's lead.

"Jealousy be gone."

"Jealousy be gone!"

"Jealousy be gone!"

"JEALOUSY BE GONE! ! !"

Sora screamed as a toxic green fume flew out of his mouth, coalescing into a cloud of poisonous green.

Jealousy, in its purest form.

Exhausted, Sora collapsed onto the floor and curled up in fetal position.

Kairi let out a gasp. "Oh, Sora, are you okay?"

"Kairi, no! The circle!" cried out Naminé.

But it was too late. Kairi, in all her worry, proceeded to break free of the circle that had been protecting them. With nothing to hold it back any longer, Jealousy was free to run rampant!

And it began by diving into the nearest object: one of the thrones sitting in the Great Hall. It came to life with an angry growl, "Why do you have so many chairs? You don't even sit on them!" Everyone scattered as the 'chair' randomly attacked.

Then it left the throne and dove into the chandelier hanging above. "This is brighter than my light! I wish I had one just like this!" The 'chandelier' growled before breaking apart and Jealousy swooped into a nearby bookcase. "Why so many books when you don't even READ them! It's not fair!"

"Naminé, what do we do now?!" Xion yelled.

"I don't know!" Naminé shrieked as she took shelter.

"What do you mean you don't know?" demanded Donald. "You're the one who came up with this solution!"

"I found this solution in Ienzo's study! It was dog-eared to this exact page, who knew it actually worked?!"

"If you would all just stop yelling—!" Aqua began, before she ducked to avoid glass shards thrown her way. ("Why do you have so many painted windows? One isn't enough for you?!")

"Guys—" Terra began before he let out an "oof!" as Jealousy proceeded to possess him.

"TERRA!" Ven and Aqua screamed in horror.

'Terra' got back up to his feet and whirled around. "I wish I had the Mark of Mastery—like you!" 'Terra' snarled—

("Are you seriously still sore about that, Terra?" Aqua screamed before she got smacked by a tennis ball straight on the nose.)

—Then the spirit left Terra and possessed Xion instead—

"I wish my room was as big as yours!" 'Xion' shrieked at Naminé.

—Before leaving her and choosing Roxas as his next victim—

"I wish I had a heart—like you!" growled out 'Roxas' as he swiped at Riku with his Keyblade.

("Roxas, you have a heart!" Isa exasperatedly pointed out, before he ducked to avoid the desk thrown at his face.)

—and diving into Ventus—

'Ventus' opened his mouth…then closed it and shrugged. "...I'm actually okay with how I am."

(Somewhere in the realm of Kingdom Hearts and beyond, a certain Dark being with a helmet snorted to himself, "Typical.")

"And you…"

Jealousy popped back into its cloud-like form as he glared at the target of its envy.

A scared but determined Sora held Kairi close to him. Or at least he tried to. Kairi was trying to hold Sora close to her as well. It was almost like the two were trying to merge into one being, which wasn't exactly helping their case at the moment. Jealousy sneered.

"...you betrayed me…!"

"If I can't have you….NOBODY WILL!"

Then Jealousy started growing bigger.

"It's gonna implode!" Lea gasped.

Ven cursed (quietly because if Aqua heard she would never let him hear the end of it), before turning to Sora. "Sora, you have to end this. This is your doing!"

"I can't!" Sora wailed. "Not as long as Kairi and Axel are together!"

"Kairi, you gotta break up with Axel! it's the only way to stop this!" Roxas shouted.

"What are you talking about?!" A baffled Kairi exclaimed. "Axel and I aren't dating! He's my brother!"

That was the exact moment Jealousy blew up.

The worlds collapsed among themselves, Light and Dark mixed together, Kingdom Hearts reborn anew in the midst of—

Wait a minute.

"Hold up, did you just say Axel's your brother?" Sora asked.

Lea nodded sheepishly.

"Yeah, we just found out the other day. Apparently we're related through some grandmother's uncle's sister's step-brother's ex-wife's third cousin's adopted child's former roommate."

"...oh." Sora felt stupid.

And so did Jealousy, apparently, as it just evaporated into thin air and dropped everything onto the floor. And he meant everything.

"Ow!"

"Son of a—!"

"Hey, get off me!"

"Stupid Jealousy!"

Roxas kicked Riku off of him, while Naminé helped Xion get back onto her feet. Terra and Aqua dusted each other off before doing the same to Ventus, ignoring his protests. Isa pulled Lea up from where he had been none-too-gently dropped.

And as for Kairi and Sora…

"Oh, Sora, I can't believe you thought I was going out with Axel. That's just eugh, and not just because we're related." Kairi made a face and stuck out her tongue in disgust.

"Hey!" Lea protested, "I resent that!"

Isa slapped a hand over Lea's mouth. "Ignore him, please. I can't apologize enough for the amount of trouble he's caused today," he said, turning a deaf ear to Lea's muffled yet indignant denials.

"I'm really sorry about everything that happened, guys." Sora looked down, ashamed at his behavior for the past few days.

"It's okay, buddy." Terra assured him. "Just try not to do it again anytime soon okay?"

Aqua nodded in agreement. "Don't worry, Sora, these things tend to happen."

"Terra and Aqua are right." Riku slid close to Sora and patted his shoulder comfortingly. "As long as you know not to do this again, everything will—"

"GET AWAY FROM HIM, YOU SILVER HAIRED, DARKNESS WIELDING, MUSCLE BOUND, GHOST SKINNED FREAK!" Kairi (?) screamed as her eyes started turning green.

"..."

"...wow."

"Yeah."

Riku could only facepalm at his two best friends' behavior.
