November 8th 2038…

"They didn't break in?" Connor asked after turning to Chris, Leah looking back at the video on the screen.

"No, no sign of forced entry." Chris explained before Connor noticed that Leah was looking at the video that had been filmed… and he rested his right hand on her lower back, Leah looking at him.

"Does the android seem familiar?" Connor asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

"That's Markus… I'd know his voice anywhere." Leah responded quietly, Connor remembering the photo he had seen on Leah's desk.

"We stored the station androids in the kitchen. There's no evidence that they were involved but we didn't know what else to do with them." Chris spoke up, getting them to look at him… and Connor turned to Leah, nodding for her to stay near Hank.

Connor walked into the kitchen… and Leah was worried for his safety.

Approaching the station androids but deciding to maintain a good distance from them, Connor turned to the one near the coffee machine.

"What is your function?" Connor questioned.

"I am a broadcast operator." The android responded, Connor noticing that the android's LED flickered between yellow and blue while the other androids LEDs were a solid blue… and he turned back to the android near the coffee machine.

"Has anybody accessed your memory recently?" Connor asked.

"Not to my knowledge." The android answered, his LED briefly turning red as he saw Leah near the monitors while the other two remained quiet and motionless… and Connor redirected the android's attention.

"One of you saw the attack on the surveillance cameras and said nothing. Which means there is a deviant in this room… and I'm going to find out which it is." Connor explained before he turned to the android who was stressing out.

Remembering that he had bluffed to lull Carlos Ortiz's android to confessing to murder, Connor decided to try the tactic again.

"The deviants have just been caught… they gave you up. There's no point in lying. We know everything." Connor explained calmly.

Panicking, the android lunged at Connor and ripped out his thirium regulator before he grabbed a knife and stabbed him to pin him down… and the android ran towards the door.

Connor managed to pull the knife out of his hand and crawled to his thirium regulator, grabbing it and shoving it back into his torso… and he heard screaming, gunfire and yelling.

Connor pulled himself up and ran out of the room and down the hallway, seeing that the android was holding Leah hostage with her gun aimed at her and then back at everyone else.

Connor rushed towards the android after grabbing Hank's gun as Leah was thrown at Connor… and Connor caught Leah and held her close to him with his left arm and pulled the trigger.

The android fell to the ground with several bullets in his back and Connor dropped the gun, holding a violently shaking Leah in his arms and whispering to her as he lightly rubbed her back to reassure her that she was safe.

It took some soothing but Leah eventually wrapped her arms around him as Hank and Chris ran to them as Connor picked Leah up into his arms and stood up, Leah keeping her face buried into his right shoulder.

"Are you two okay?" Hank asked.

Leah moved back a bit and blinked slowly, realizing that from the thirium on Connor's synthetic skin that he had almost died.

Connor lifted his uninjured hand to lightly cup part of her face into it and brushed her hair back, the two of them looking at each other.

Neither of them moved or blinked… and Hank was concerned…

Present time…

Checked over and given the all clear to go back to work, Connor left the CyberLife Technician Center with Leah and Hank and they walked outside.

The snow was getting worse and the sunlight was long gone despite it only being just a little after 7 at night.

"You're staying with us for the night, Connor, especially after what happened earlier." Hank responded.

Connor nodded, his LED flickering between yellow and red as Leah lightly rubbed her right hand up and down his back before they got into the car and buckled up.

Hank drove to the house and they got out and locked up the car before they walked into the house… and Sumo ran to Connor, letting out worried whines even as Connor petted him.

"I'm okay, Sumo." Connor responded softly.

Leah petted Sumo before she pulled Connor into a hug, Connor wrapping his arms around her as she was shaking and Hank observed them from a distance.

Sumo looked to Hank, who petted him.

"It's okay, boy." Hank whispered.

In her room, Leah pulled her thirium stained clothes off after Connor closed and locked the door… and he got Leah to look at him before they kissed.

"You have no idea how much you scared me earlier…" Leah responded quietly as tears ran down her face, Connor gently brushing them away.

"I couldn't let him kill you. Yes, I wanted him alive but protecting you means more to me than apprehending a deviant." Connor whispered before they kissed again.

Leah helped Connor pull his blazer and shirt off, Connor kicking his shoes off before he pulled his jeans off and he and Leah kissed again as they held each other.

"Do you-" Connor started to ask.

"Yes." Leah answered.

The two let go and Leah reached behind her, unhooking her maroon colored bra and dropping it as Connor allowed his eyes to roam her body and felt the hardness between his legs before he pulled his boxers off and she pulled her hipster panties off.

Connor pulled her back to him and they kissed again, Connor pulling her on top of him and sitting up so she was straddling him.

Connor ran his fingers through her long disheveled hair and then turned Leah onto her back, positioning himself on top of her and carefully pulling her legs further apart as his hands rested on the backs of her thighs and her arms wrapped around him… and she held onto him as he slowly pushed it inside of her, Leah closing her eyes.

Connor kissed her neck once he was as deep as he could go and their bodies moved together in a natural rhythm.

Leah let out a low whine as Connor rested his hands on her shoulders and lightly kissed and bit her neck.

The two were just content to let the outside world fade away for a while.
