It's morning in Megalopolis, and we see a male figure walking down the sidewalk.
He looks like Tom's version of Kaz from Chaotic.
"Alright, I'm almost there. He said.
The young man's destination is the Megalopolis Museum of Natural History.
Soon enough, he had made it to his destination.
He went to the front deck.
"Hey, Edgar." A voice said.
Edgar looks towards the owner of the voice.
"Hey, Polly." He said.
Polly is a girl who appears around Edgar's age with long purple hair and wearing the standard outfit for digs.
"Are you excited for another day at the museum? Polly questioned.
"I believe I have found out what the bug is in my invention. Edgar answered.
"I see, Polly said.
"With it, any type of dig will take less time. Edgar said.
"Cool, Polly said.
Edgar went on his way to his laboratory.
As he worked on his invention.
"Okay, let's remove the casing. Edgar said to himself.
"Excuse me." A voice said.
Edgar turns around to see an elderly man with green eyes and Dr. Wily-like hair.
"May I help you? Edgar questioned.
"How's your invention coming along? The man questioned.
"Good so far, Edgar said.
"Your invention could help in a lot of ways, including housing, engineering, and, sadly, the military. The man said.
"Yeah, Edgar said.
"How long until it's ready? The man questioned.
"Not long; I'm actually almost done." Edgar said.
"That great The reporters will be here soon," the man said.
"Right, Edgar said.
In the museum's storage room.
We see a figure moving around.
It seems to be searching for something.
"Where is it?" The figure was questioned.
The figure had opened one crate and searched.
"There it is." The figure said.
Inside is a crystal blue color.
"You're mine." The figure said.
The figure was about to pick it up until it heard something.
"Uh oh." the figure said before hiding.
"Let's see what's in that crate." A voice said.
'Darn it, I wasn't expecting this.' The figure thought.
The figure saw two security guards heading towards their destination.
'Darn it, I can't let them see me.' The figure thought.
"Let's see 107, 108." One guard said.
"Found it." The other guard said.
The other guard opens the crate.
Alright, let's see what's inside." The first guard said.
They look inside.
"What's that?" The second guard questioned.
"You misread the box; we need box 112; this is 110," the first guard said.
"I see, but look at what I found." The second guard said.
"A crystal, so?" the first guard said.
"So what's this doing here?" The second guard questioned.
"How should I know they don't pay us enough to know?" the first guard questioned.
"We should take it to the curator." The second guard said.
"With how much he's getting on in ages, I doubt he would remember this." The first guard said.
Still, it wouldn't hurt to ask." The second guard said.
"Fine." The first guard said as they gave in.
As they leave.
The figure came out of its hiding place.
"That's not good.' The figure said.
In the Museum entry area, reporters sat on folded chairs.
"Welcome everyone to our fun museum." The curator said.
"I know you all are wondering why I called you here today." The curator said
The reporters all muttered to themselves.
Then one of them raises their hands.
"Yes, you have a question." The curator said.
"Sarah King with CNN, you said there's a device that will help in almost every job?" Ms. King questioned.
Yes, actually, and to tell you about it, the young man who invented it is Edgar Chudley. Please welcome Edgar Chudley!" The curator said.
Edgar joins the curator with the device in hand.
"Hello everyone! I hope you're all having a good day so far." Edgar said.
He then holds up his device, which looks like an old video camera.
"Now who here thinks this is just an old camera?" Edgar questioned.
Everyone raises their hands.
"Well, it's not; it's actually my new invention that will not only make excavations more efficient but safer as well." Edgar said.
One person raises their hands.
"Yes, you in the front. Edgar said.
"Jenny Brisby with Fox News, what does your device do that will make excavations more efficient and safer?" Mrs. Brisby questioned.
Edgar explains.
"You do realize that your device could help not just excavation sites, like law enforcement could use your device to find buried bodies, evidence, or bombs?" Mrs. Brisby questioned.
"Yes, actually, this is the only one currently in existence, but I do intend to make more in the future." Edgar said.
While the inter were still going, the figure was trying to follow the guards.
'Jeez, don't these guys need a breather?' The figure thought.
"To show you how my device works, two of the museum's security guards hide one of their fossils within the museum itself, and I will use the device to find it." Edgar said.
The reporters murmur amongst themselves.
Then the guards did as Edgar said.
'"Now observe how my device works." Edgar said.
Type in some commands into his device.
Soon the device began its search and managed to gather all of the items that the guards hid.
"As you can see, there would be less need for large dig sites and artifacts to be found and safely removed." Edgar said.
Everyone applauds.
"Any other questions?" Edgar questioned.
The reporters say nothing.
Most started to write down everything.
"Thank you, Edgar, for that marvelous demonstration." The curator said.
"You're welcome," Edgar said.
Edgar stepped down.
And take his seat.
"Now next on the agenda is the unveiling of a new exhibit." The curator said.
Ms. King raised her hand.
"Yes, Ms. King." The curator said.
"What do you mean by that?" Ms. King questioned.
"Let me show you." The curator said.
Then the guards brought out the crystal.
Edgar is surprised by it.
'I didn't know we had that here,' Edgar thought.
"As you can see, we have here a rare crystal." The curator said.
Mrs. Brisby raised her hand.
"Yes, Mrs. Brisby." The curator said.
"What makes this crystal rare? It looks like one of my children has grown from a grow-your-own crystal kit." Mrs. Brisby questioned.
"It's very simple. Thanks to some research, we discovered that this crystal originated not only from the time of the dinosaurs but could very well have fallen from space." The curator said.
"Are you saying this could be a piece of the very asteroid that killed the dinosaurs?" Mrs. Brisby questioned.
"Possibly, or it could have fallen from space much earlier than that; we're still doing research on it." The curator said.
"I see," Mrs. Brisby said.
"Now, any other questions?" The curator questioned.
No one raised their hands.
Alright, then please enjoy the rest of the museum." The curator said.
While those who work for newspapers pack up and head back to their offices, the ones from TV stations go out to their vans and check their records.
"That was fun," Edgar said.
"You said it, my boy." The curator said
"Have you found out anything new about the crystal?" Edgar questioned.
"Since we're a museum, we don't have the needed equipment to do every test." The curator answered.
"True," Edgar said.
"So when we're done with the tests we can do here, we will send it to a lab for the rest of the tests; we don't want one of our exhibits causing heat problems." The curator said
"Right," Edgar said.
"Anything else you need, Edgar?" The curator questioned.
"No, sir," Edgar said.
"Well, then why are you staying around here before you better make more of these devices before your phone won't stop ringing?" The curator said.
"Right," Edgar said.
Edgar went to his lab.
He quickly pulls out his phone.
"Come on, pick up," Edgar said to no one.
"Hello?" A female voice questioned.
"Listen, there's a crystal at the museum!" Edgar said.
"Where in the museum?" The female voice questioned.
"You gals didn't watch the press conference?" Edgar questioned.
"Lucy did, I kind of fell asleep." The female voice said.
"It will be in the lab, but once the tests are done, they will be sent to another lab for the rest of the tests." Edgar answered.
"We need to get it before you know who does." Then the female voice said
"Then get up here; there's a good chance said person might have seen the press conference or heckled into the museum's computers." Edgar said.
"Right, Lucy and I will get the others and head out," the female voice said.
"I'll keep my eyes out." Edgar said as he hung up the phone.
Back in the Museum.
The person Edgar was talking to is an anthro female T-rex with an apple green scale coloring wearing an outfit that screams 90's. Saturday morning Kung Fu cartoon: her chest is around a low c-cup.
"Dinos assemble," she said.
More anthro dinos came out, all female.
"What's going on?" A Stegosaurus was questioned.
The Stegosaurus has a vermilion colored scales. Her cup size is a low D, and she has a bo staff on her back while wearing the same outfit but in different colors.
"Edgar found a crystal." The T-Rex said.
"What!? where!?" a lemon-colored triceratops wearing the same outfit but in different colors; her cup size is BB questioned.
"In the Museum." The T-Rex said.
"You got to be, kidding!" a pink-colored theropod wearing the same outfit but in different colors; her cup size is A said.
"I'm afraid that I'm not kidding." The T-Rex said.
"We should have searched the Museum first," the triceratops said.
"Why didn't you search for it first?" a Pteranodon questioned.
"Besides training and getting our headquarters together, we hadn't thought about it," the Stegosaurus answered.
"It doesn't matter. We need to get it before you know who does." The T-Rex said.
"Right!" The others said.
Soon enough, they ran up the stairs.
The figure is heading for the lab.
'I must get that crystal.' The figure thought.
The figure opens the door.
"Alright, where are you?" The figure was questioned.
Then someone walks in holding the item.
Alright, let's see what we can learn about you." The scientist said.
The scientist looks away from the crystal and the figure.
Who got fed up with hiding before pulling out a weapon.
"My little friend says other things!" The figure said.
"Who are you!" the scientist exclaimed in fear.
"You won't remember it!" The figure said this as they knocked out the scientist and took the crystal.
"Not so fast!" A voice shouted.
The figure turns to look at who is speaking.
They see that it is Edgar.
Oh, look, it's the boy toy," the figure said.
"Don't call me that." Edgar said.
"You're a sidekick to an all-girl group of heroes, and this is a non-rated M fanfic; there are few things I can call you!" The figure said as they removed their cloak to show they are a sickly blue-colored velociraptor that isn't in the best of shapes.
"Seriously breaking the fourth wall?" Edgar questioned.
"It's been hard work for others before now, and this story is based on trying it." Skrap answered.
"True, but we're getting off track." Edgar said.
"Good point!" Skrap said as he started firing his weapons.
Edgar dodges the lasers.
While dodging, he moves closer to Skrap.
"Take this, Skrap!" Edgar shouted.
Edgar performed an armlock.
"Hey! Let go!" Skrap shouted.
"Fat chance!" Edgar said.
"Well, you may have me, but can you handle the lynx?" Skrap questioned.
But no one else enters the room.
"Um, where are my lynx?" Skrap questioned.
"You didn't think I wouldn't call the Posse before I headed here?" Edgar questioned.
Skrap looks to see the Posse fighting his Lynx.
"Right, I should have seen that one coming." Skrap said
"Now surrender, Skrap," Edgar said.
"You forget I'm a bad guy, and we rarely surrender!" Skrap said as he used his tail.
"Whoa!" Edgar said.
Thanks to his weight, he had an easier time knocking down Edgar.
"Ow!" Edgar said.
"I know how to throw my weight around," Skrap said as he got up.
"You do know that you just inadvertently called yourself fat, right?" Edgar questioned.
"So what! I have the crystal, and that's all that matters!" Skrap answered as he tried to escape with the crystal.
Only to run into the Posse.
Great, it's the Dino Hussy Posse!" Skrap said.
"What did you just call us? Lucy questioned angrily.
"You heard me!" Skrap said.
The crowd glared at him for his comment.
"Ooh, you shouldn't have said that." Edgar said.
"Even if I didn't say that, they would still hurt me." Skrap said.
"True, but it would have hurt less." Edgar said.
"It will hurt less thanks to this!" Skrap said as he tossed something on the ground, which, after impact, released smoke that filled up the area.
"Uh oh," Lilly said.
Once the smoke was clear, they couldn't see Skrap anyway.
"Where'd he go?" Helen questioned.
"My question is, where did he get the ninja kit?" Sakura questioned.
"I don't know, but that doesn't really matter; we need to get that crystal back." Edgar said.
"Good point," Lilly said.
As they search for Skrap.
Outside of the Museum.
"That was close," Skrap said.
"Now I just need to make one dinosaur mutant so I can escape with the crystal!" Skrap said to himself.
Suddenly, he's punched in the face.
Oh, come on!" Skrap said.
"Going somewhere, Skrap?" Helen questioned.
"Yeah, but here's your ride!" Skrap said as he fired a beam at a taxi.
"Oh no!" Lucy said.
The taxi transforms into a technologically organic version of the theropod.
"A mutant taxitheropod!" Lucy shouted.
"It's time to go big or go home," Helen said.
"Combo time!" Lucy said.
As they combined, Edgar watched as their combined form, Combosaur, appeared.
'At least, this one makes more sense than the cannon one,' he thought.
He takes a minute to take in the combosaur's appearance.
The two began their titanic battle.
'I hope that creature doesn't get weird ideas.' Edgar thought about how other males of any species act around females.
But Edgar's worries were pointless, as the mutant was female.
'Oh, the creature is female too; that's good.' Edgar said.
Not so much for the buildings, as the Combosaur tosses the mutant into a nearby flower shop.
"Good thing the city has good insurance," Edgar said.
The former car gets back up and rams the Combosaur.
"That's got to hurt," Edgar said.
Then the mutant placed one of its legs on the combosaur's face and made the wheel spin.
"Oh no!" Edgar said.
One of Combosaur's horns breaks off.
"No, leave them alone!" Edgar shouted.
The taxi mutant stops its attack to face the human.
"Uh oh," Edgar said.
Combosaur saw her broken horn and got enraged at the mutant.
She turns to the mutant, only to see it heading towards Edgar.
Which makes her madder.
"Um, can we talk about this?" Edgar asked nervously as the mutant stood in front of him.
The combosaur grabs the mutant's tail.
She then tossed it into the air.
Then the troupe went back to normal.
"That's for messing with Edgar." Lucy said.
Lucy then checked a mirror and saw that her horn was still there.
"Thank goodness." She said.
"It still feels weird," Lilly said.
"At least we can fossilize the mutant," Helen said.
Edgar tosses them the needed tool.
Helen fires it, turning the mutant into a fossil.
"Now where is Skrap?" Sakura questioned.
They look around, only to see that he's nowhere to be found.
"He uses the mutant as a scapegoat!" Lucy said.
"At least the mutant won't hurt anyone anymore." Edgar said.
"While, that might be true; he still has the crystal!" Helen pointed it out.
"Not for long," Edgar said, pulling out the device he showed back at the museum.
"And how will that help us?" Lilly questioned.
"Just watch," Edgar said before turning it on.
"Edger, we know your device, but is there a limited range to it?" Helen questioned.
"I designed it to cover dig sites as wide as a city," Edgar said.
"But didn't you filter out life forms?" Lucy questioned.
"Yes, but it won't need to as long as it finds the crystal." Edgar said.
Then an arrow pops up on the screen.
"I found it," Edgar said.
They follow the device.
Soon enough, they find Skrap.
"There he is!" Sakura said as she started to fly after him.
"What! How'd you find me so fast? Skrap questioned.
"That is for us to know and for you to never find out!" she answered as she tried to tackled him down.
"Uh oh," Skrap said.
Skrap fell down.
"Hand over the crystal skrap." Sakura demanded.
"Does it look like I have the crystal now?" Skrap questioned as he showed her his empty hands.
"Guys, the crystal is that way," Edgar said.
Sakura punches Skrap in the head before leaving him.
"Ow," Skrap said.
The Posse follows Edgar.
Soon enough, they find it in the hands of their archenemy.
"Looking for this dinosaur wannabe?" Their arch-enemy said.
"Give up Skor; you can't win." Helen said.
"Do you lot have a "repeat of the cheesy hero line jar"? Skor said.
"You're not leaving with that crystal Skor." Lucy said.
"Do you even hear yourselves as you say those lines?" Skor said.
"Just shut up and give up, Skor," Lily said.
"Since we had this chapter's monster battle, then it's time for a car chase!" Skor said as he jumped into a car.
"Stop him!" Lucy shouted.
"You forget we didn't bring a car with us." Sakura said.
"Not a problem." Edgar said he before pushing a button.
Then their cars pulled up.
"I upgraded your D. so that they can be called with a push of a button." Edgar said.
"Thanks Edgar." Lucy said as she kissed him on the cheek.
This causes him to blush.
The posse jumped into each of their D. .
"Let's wail and tail dinos!" Helen shouted.
The D. . speed off.
Soon enough, they catch up to Skor.
They activate their weapons.
"Uh oh," Skor said as he saw what was going on behind him.
The energy blast hit his car.
Skor screams as his car comes to a stop.
'Three…two…one!' Skor did a mental countdown.
Soon enough, the roof of his car was ripped off.
'At least this didn't blow up.' Skor thought
He's then pulled out of his car by Lily.
"Instead of pulling me out of my car, you could just taken the crystal." Skor said
"True, but then I wouldn't have gotten a chance to punch you in the gut without you being able to avoid it." Lily said.
She then punches Skor in the gut.
"Ooh, I'm going to be feeling that in the morning." Skor said.
Lucy then takes the crystal from him.
"I'll just take that." She said.
She heads back to her D.U.V. and drives off.
"This isn't over, Dino Posse." Skor said while holding his stomach.
Then a Lynx drove a tow-trunk pull-up.
"Well, someone had fun." The Lynx said
"Don't make me take away your ability to speak!" Skor said.
Back with the Posse.
The Posse heads to their headquarters.
"Well, another successful mission." Helen said.
"One crystal down and many more to go." Lilly said
"Yep, but we couldn't have done it without Edgar." Lucy said.
"Agreed," the others said.
Soon, they start reminiscing about the first time they met Edgar.
~Yo, it's flashback time.~
We see Edgar in his lab.
"Okay, I just have to throw out the burned circuit board." Edgar said to himself.
Before he could finish, the power to his lab went out.
"Either this is another burned fuse or another out-of-control party causing a blackout!" Edgar said.
As he goes to take a look.
He makes his way to the museum's lower levels.
"Alright, look, let's see what the problem is." He said.
He went to the fuse box.
"Alright, let's take a look." Edgar said.
None of the fuses burned or the breaker flipped.
"That's weird," Edgar said.
'Most likely, it will be a party most likely a rich brat's party,' he thought.
Suddenly, he hears a noise.
"Hmm?" he said.
"Hello?" Edgar questioned.
No one replies.
Hearing nothing, Edgar goes back to inspecting the fuse box.
'Must have been a rat,' Edgar thought.
Suddenly, he hears a loud crash.
"Okay, that isn't a rat!" Edgar said.
He grabs a random pipe.
'Good, we have all of these replacement pipes!' he thought.
"Okay, whoever's in here, show yourself." Edgar said.
But no one did.
"Seriously, this isn't funny." Edgar said.
He turned the corner and saw nothing.
"I must be going crazy," Edgar said.
He kept searching.
Suddenly, he's tackled to the ground.
He drops his phone.
"Who are you?" Edgar questioned.
"We're the ones asking the questions!" The person who tackled him said.
"Well, this is my lab, and you're trespassing, so you better tell me who you are before I call the cops." Edgar said.
"I'm not afraid of you hairless monkeys," the person said.
"Hairless monkey? Do you not know a human when you see one?" Edgar questioned.
"Is that what you call your race?" the person said.
"You say that as if you're not human." Edgar said.
Then the Museum's backup power turned on.
What he sees shocks him.
He saw a fully naked anthro T-rex female.
"What the heck Why are you a T-rex? And second, why are you naked!?" Edgar questioned.
"What's wrong with being a T-Rex and being the naked one?" the T-Rex questioned.
"There's nothing wrong with being a T-rex except for the fact that you have a humanoid body, and no, I'm not. I have clothes on." Edgar said.
"Clothes?" The t-Rex girl said with a kilt on her head.
"Yes, for example, that kilt that you're wearing on your head is supposed to go around your waist." Edgar said.
"Yeah, the clothes on my body are called clothes," Edgar said.
"Are they skins?" the T-rex questioned.
"No, they're made of cloth that not only keeps us warm but covers certain areas." Edgar said.
"Hey! Helen, have you found it yet?" another voice questioned.
"I found one of those hairless monkeys." The T-rex, now known as Helen, said
Then more female anthro dinosaurs came out, just as dressed as Helen.
"First off, can you get off me? And second, can you stop calling me a hairless monkey?" Edgar questioned.
"Then what is your name?" the triceratops questioned as Helen gets off of him.
"Edgar Chudley," Edgar said.
"Well, Edgar Chudley, tell us where the crystals are!" the theropod said.
"Hold on, you still haven't identified yourselves." Edgar said.
"I'm Helen." Helen started.
"I'm Lucy." The Triceratops said.
"I'm Sakura," the theropod said.
"I'm Lily." The Stegosaurus said.
"And with that out of the way, where are the crystals?" Lucy questioned.
"Crystals? I don't have anything like that here." Edgar said.
"Well, we woke up here, and the crystals weren't near us." Lilly said.
"Well, sorry, but I never came across anything related to a crystal." Edgar said.
"Crystals, as in more than one." Helen said.
"Well, I've never seen the crystals that you're talking about." Edgar said.
"But, while we're on the subject, what's your story?" Edgar questioned.
"It's a long story; do you want to hear it?" Sakura questioned back.
"Sure, I've got time," Edgar said.
So they started to tell their tale.
"Well, in the beginning, we were like any other dinosaur." Helen said.
"Wait!? You mean you four were normal dinosaurs like they were!?" Edgar said this while pointing to the fossil dinosaur skeletons.
"Yep, until one day something fell from the sky." Helen said.
"You mean the asteroid that killed all the dinosaurs? Edgar asks.
"No, the one I'm talking about was smaller, and it was carrying something." Helen said.
"Let me guess the crystals." Edgar questioned.
"Yep, and we didn't know what to think of them until we got close to them." Helen said.
"Which transformed you into these forms." Edgar said.
"Us and two others." Helen said.
"How many of you are there?" Edgar questioned.
"Us and two Rapters named Skor and Skrap." Helen said.
"And?" Edgar questioned
"And Skor tried to use them to rule the world," Helen said.
Then Sakura took a long look at one of the dinosaur skeletons hanging from the ceiling.
"Are you okay?" Edgar questioned.
"How long were we encased in that ice?" Sakura questioned back.
Well, about 16 billion years, give or take," Edgar said.
"WHAT!?" the girls shouted.
"Yeah, other than you and the two Raptors you're talking about, there aren't any other dinosaurs left." Edgar said.
That shocked the girls to the core.
"I'm sorry, but do you need some time to process this?" Edgar questioned.
The girls just nodded their heads to answer.
"Okay, I'll be in my lab if you need me." Edgar said.
Inside a cave, Skor and Skrap were planning their next move after learning of their species before the girls.
"Dinosaurs used to rule this world; these hairless monkies rule while our kind is extinct." Skor said.
"But aren't we outnumbered since there are more of them?" Skrap pointed it out.
"Oh, dear brother, numbers won't matter thanks to the crystals." Skor said.
"Speaking of which, where are they?" Skrap questioned.
"Because of the ice age, they were scattered; none of them resides within the city." Skor said.
"So you don't know where any are or who has them." Skrap said.
"No, but I will soon." Skor said.
"I'll start working on making our headquarters a home then." Skrap said.
Back with the Dino Girls.
"I can't believe it." Lilly said.
"I know," Sakura said.
"We're the only ones that make them, and who knows how many of our friends' and families' bones remain or became these fossil fuels?" Lucy said.
"Maybe, but I know one thing." Helen said.
Yeah, and what is that?" Sakura questioned.
"They wouldn't want us sitting here moping while those still pose a threat to the world." Helen said.
"That still leaves what to do after fighting evil," Lucy said.
"We'll have to cross that bridge when we come to it." Helen said.
"And where are we going to live?" Lily questioned
"Good question, maybe that Edgar guy has an idea." Helen said.
"Then there's the food," Lilly said.
"I can help with that," a voice said.
They turn around to see who spoke.
"Sorry, I wanted to check on all of you." Edgar said.
"Thanks," Lucy said.
"No problem, and as for your living conditions, I might have a solution." Edgar said.
"How?" Helen questioned.
"There's a place called a museum that has an underground part that they're not using anymore; you could stay there." Edgar said.
"Thanks, and food?" Lily questioned.
"The museum has plenty of food at the food court, and I can provide food as well from stores," Edgar said.
Cool, but why do you keep looking away from us?" Lucy questioned.
"Because you girls aren't wearing clothes," Edgar said.
"what Is it with you and these clothes? Sakura questioned.
she did not understand the concept.
"Well, it's not only to keep us warm, but they also cover certain areas." Edgar said.
"Certain areas?" the dino girls questioned as they are still new to their bodies.
"Look down at your bodies," Edgar said.
They did.
"Oh, do you know what these are?" Lilly questioned as he picks up her fun bags.
"They're called breasts, and there's one other part that needs covering." Edgar said.
"And their purpose?" Lucy questioned.
"Well, they fill with milk to feed babies before and after birth." Edgar said.
"Milk?" the dino girls questioned, as that was a new word for them.
Edgar explains.
Then he realizes that there's a lot he has to explain.
"Listen, there's a lot to explain, but first, let's get you something to wear." Edgar said.
Then the group leaves the room.
A few minutes later, they end up in a changing room.
While Lucy and Sakura found clothes that fit them, Helen and Lilly, on the other hand, were having problems.
"You two okay?" Lucy questioned.
"Besides my plates and Helen's claws ripping the clothes, our chests are bigger than who they were made for." Lily said.
"There are bigger clothes you can find, and you can alter the clothes to work for your physics." Edgar said this from the other side of the door.
"Thanks," Helen said.
An hour later, they were fully dressed.
'Note to self: make them watch a video on altering the clothes.' Edgar thought.
Soon enough, they came out.
They wore kung fu outfits from 90s movies.
"Alright, how do the clothes fit?" Edgar questioned.
"Fine and weird," they answered.
"Okay, let's head underground." Edgar said.
They make their way to the lower levels of the Museum.
"Alright, here it is." Edgar said.
"Whoa!" the girls said.
"Girls, welcome to your new home." Edgar said.
"Nice cave," Lily said.
"Yep, and like I said, the museum doesn't use this place anymore, so no one will bother you." Edgar said.
'And may need some major work,' he thought, as this area was to be storage, not living space.
"Thanks, Edgar, for what you're doing." Helen said.
"Just checking what needs to be done to make this a living space." Edgar answered.
"Like, what exactly?" Helen questioned.
The villains were doing the same.
"Soon this will look like an evil lair." Skor said.
Skor was drawing up blueprints for his lair.
Back with our heroes.
"Yeah, much work must be done to make it into a living space for the four of you." Edgar said.
"Like, what exactly?" Helen questioned.
Edgar then went on to tell them what they needed and explain the everyday items that they needed.
"I see. Well, I do have a question for you, Edgar." Helen said.
"What is it?" He questioned.
"Do you work for this museum?" Helen questioned.
"Yes, I work in the tech department," he answered.
"I see, and what does that mean?" Helen questioned.
"I help with tech, like the computers or the lab equipment," he answered.
"What's a computer?" Lucy questioned.
~Flashback time out~
"It took a long time for Edgar to teach us what a computer was and how to work it." Lucy said.
"And everything else,"Helen said.
~Flashback time in~
'I see why a possible alien race doesn't contact the human race.' Edgar thought, as he finally taught the girls, what they needed to know if they ever needed to leave their new home.
"Thanks for helping us, Edgar," Helen said.
"No problem," Edgar said.
'I bet teachers wait for breaks as well," he thought.
Suddenly, a loud noise is heard, followed by a beeping red light.
"Oh, you get to kidding me!" Sakura said.
"The Museum's intruder alarm," Edgar said.
Edgar went over to a computer and typed in some commands.
"Hey, Helen," Edgar said.
"What is it?" the T-rex questioned.
"Remember those Raptors you were telling me about?" Edgar questioned.
"Are they here?" Helen questioned.
Yeah," Edgar said.
Right, let's go!" Helen said.
At the entrance of the Museum.
"Let's get what we came for!" Skrap said.
"Not so fast, Skrap!" A voice shouted
The villain turned around to see who had spoken to him.
His eyes widen in shock as he sees the girl dinos.
"You four again!" Skrap said.
"What do you want, Skrap?" Lucy questioned.
"What do you think, grass eater? I bet there's a crystal here," Skrap said.
"If there is, then you're not getting it." Helen said.
Oh, really, do you have your own army?" Skrap questioned.
Soon enough, an army of strange creatures appeared behind Skrap.
"What the heck are these things!?" Sakura questioned.
"Like them, I like to call them lynx." Skrap said.
'I'm not the one to make that pun,' Edgar thought.
"Lynx attack!" Skrap ordered.
The Lynx attacked the girls and had a hard time fighting them, but their human friend, on the other hand,
He was taking down lynx by lynx.
This surprises the girls.
Edgar did a roundhouse kick to a Lynx.
"Whoa, he's good," Sakura said.
Lynx tried to hit the human with a sledgehammer while another tried jumping at the human, but Edgar dodged both, and the sledgehammer hit the mid-air lynx in an area that no human wanted to be hit at.
"Ooh," Edgar said with a wince as the Lynx let out a high-pitched scream.
'Yeah, we should have focused on combat training for the lynxes,' Skrap thought.
"You girls are doing okay? Edgar questioned.
So far, we could be better." Lilly answered.
"We need something to fight with," Helen said.
"And a fighting style that is best suited for our bodies." Lucy said this while trying to use her horns.
"Well, I'll give you some on-site fighting lessons. Watch me and copy what I do." Edgar said.
"They're trying, but it is hard given that they have more body parts than me." Edgar said.
Listen, I know it's hard, but you can do it. Don't just copy the moves; adapt them to work with your physicality." Edgar said.
They did as Edgar said, and it was working.
"Hey, we're doing it." Sakura said.
"Oh man, the lynx are being taken out as if they were nothing but a joke." Skrap said.
He then notices something on the ground.
"Huh?" he said as he took a look at the object.
"It's the crystal!" Skrap said.
The heroes hear what he just says.
"Oh no!" Helen said.
"Is that?" Edgar questioned.
"A crystal!" Lucy said.
"Which isn't good news." Lily said
I'm just curious, but what can it do?" Edgar questioned.
"Last time I checked, it just turned dinosaurs into whatever we are now." Helen answered.
"Oh, but my brother discovered that it can do more than that." Skrap said.
"Like what?" Sakura questioned as she did not believe Skrap's words.
Skrap pulled out a device.
He then went to pick up the crystal.
"With this Dino expander, I can bring out the true power of the crystal." Skrap said.
He then looks around for something.
He then sees a suit of armor.
"Armor HO!" Skrap said he fired the device at the suit.
A bright light encompasses the Museum, and after it dies down, Edgar and the girls are shocked by what they see.
The suit of armor now looks like a Styracosaurus, and a large one at that.
What is that?" Lucy questioned.
"This is a dinosaur mutant!" Skrap answered.
It roars at the heroes.
"Oh, Dino poop." Lily said
"Take cover!" Helen said.
The mutant charges at the heroes.
"How can we beat this thing?" Lucy questioned.
Edgar thought for a moment before an idea popped into his head.
"I have an idea!" he said.
"WHAT IS IT!?" the girls shouted.
"If your bodies were changed because of the crystals, then they're most likely still emitting the energy. Maybe if you girls concentrated the energy into one, you could combine it into a giant dino." Edgar explained.
"It's better than nothing." Helen said.
The girls closed their eyes and began concentrating.
They fusion into Combosaur.
"It worked," he said as he took in the Combosaur's appearance.
The Combosaur is a giant dino and the combined form of the girls; she gets her color from Helen, wings from Sakura, a nasal horn from Lucy, and plates from Lily.
The Combosaur grabs the mutant's horns.
"Well, this is unexpected," Skrap said.
The Combosaur blocks a punch before kicking the mutant in the chest.
"She still needs some work on her or their fighting form." Edgar said.
He then realizes something.
"Wait, even if she or they beats that mutant, we'd still need a way to contain it." He said.
Edgar rushes back inside the Museum.
Soon enough, the Combosaur defeated the mutant with one more punch.
Then it defuses back into the four different Dino girls.
"I can't believe it. We actually became a giant dino," Lucy said.
"I'm happy we didn't switch bodies." Sakura said.
"Yeah, but now what do we do about the mutant?" Lucy questioned.
Suddenly, Edgar runs up to them while holding something.
"Here!" Edgar said as he handed the hand vacuum-like device to Helen.
"What's this thing?" Helen questioned.
"It's a fossilizing machine; it will turn that mutant into a fossil." Edgar answered.
"How do we use it?" Helen questioned.
"Point and pull the trigger right here; it's just something i tossed together!" Edgar answered.
Helen does just that, and soon enough, in the mutant's place, there was a small rock with a carving of the mutant on it.
"One mutant fossil hot off the battlefield," Lucy said.
Sakura then noticed that Skrap wasn't there.
"Skrap isn't here; he had to grab the crystal and make a run for it." Sakura said.
"You think he got far?" Lilly questioned.
"I'll check around for any sign of him!" Sakura said as she flew into the sky.
"We can't let him get away with that crystal." Helen said.
The heroes try their best to keep up with Sakura.
After an hour, Sakura spots Skrap.
"There he is!" she said as she pointed to him.
Good, let's get him." Helen said.
Sakura flies down and tackles Skrap.
"Hey, get off of me!" Skrap demanded.
"Fat chance!" she said.
Soon her friends arrived.
"Alright, Skrap! Hand over the crystal!" Lucy said.
"never!" He said this while clutching the crystal.
Edgar suddenly takes the crystal out of Skrap's hands.
"Hey! Give it back!" Skrap said.
"Let me think about it, no." Edgar said before kicking Skrap in the face.
"Oh, I can't wait until me and my brother destroy your race, then make more of our kind, and rule the world!" Skrap said.
"Well, you two will have to go through us first." Helen said.
"Just you wait Dino Posse, we will get those crystals, and no one will stop us!" Skrap said as he ran away.
"Did he call us a Dino Posse?" Lucy questioned.
"Yes, he did." Lily answered.
"It doesn't sound too bad," Sakura said.
"I feel it needs something added to it." Helen said.
"How about Kung Fu?" Edgar suggested.
"Yeah, from this day onwards, we are the Kung Fu Dino Posse!" Helen said.
"Sweet, I just have one question." Sakura said.
"What is it?" Lucy questioned.
"What's kung fu?" Sakura questioned.
"It's the martial art that I was using." Edgar answered
"Can you show us some more moves?" Lucy questioned.
"He already remembered." Lily pointed it out.
"I know, but I want him to teach us some more." Lucy said.
"Don't worry, I will teach you girls." Edgar said.
They all smiled, knowing that this was the beginning of many adventures.
~Flashback end~
"Man, that was a wild first few months." Sakura said
"Agreed, if it wasn't for Edgar, we'd be stumbling around not knowing what to do." Helen said.
"Which would have given a news station a chance to make us into a joke." Lily said.
"Right, we honestly would have been lost without Edgar." Lucy said.
"That's true," Sakura said.
"Hey, are you girls hungry?"Edgar questioned from the other room.
"Yes, we are." Helen answered
"Cool, what do you want to eat?" Edgar questioned.
"Tofu burgers for me and Lily." Lucy said.
"Cool, Helen, and Sakura, what about you two?" Edgar questioned.
"Some beef ribs for me, please." Helen said.
"Cool and Sakura? Edgar questioned.
"A grilled salmon." Sakura answered.
"Alright, I'll have everything ready in an hour or two." Edgar said.
"Thank you, Edgar," the dino girls said.
"No problem, girls," Edgar said before heading into the kitchen.
The girls watch as he leaves.
'He's a good guy," they all thought.
Disclaimer
Hey Kung Fu Dino Posse F-Cover is up. I just want to let you know that the female dinos aren't genderbent versions of Kane, Jet, and Chow; they're just the same type of dinosaur. Anyway, let me know what you think, and I will see you later.
