Char Aznable
Three Nations Alliance
FFMH-Y101 Eternal
"Char Aznable, Sazabi, launching!"
The shudder of the catapult and the area around the Eternal drew the attention from the Zeon Ace and the bane of many Gundams and Earth Forces for some years. As his mobile suit came screaming down the catapult and out into space, he beheld the madness that had gripped his fellow Spaceanoids and even the Earth.
Slugs and Mobile Suits dueled across a massive field of debris as wrecks and mobile suits flew the flags of countless nations and agendas. Yet heading it all was the Atlantic Federation. The massive Mobile Armors in the form of Psycho and Destroy Gundams moving and wading towards the other side.
The fighting had been in full swing for over an hour before the arrival of the Three Nations Alliance Vessels. The Freedom and Wing Zero Gundam had moved ahead of the rest of the force as they detected the signatures of Nuclear Weapons within the fleets of Earth.
Thousands of Ships from across the Earth Sphere had gathered for this one final confrontation. From Earth, the remaining fleets of the Federation of Earth and Atlantic, the forces of the Zodiac Alliance, and even that of the Eurasian Federation and Asianic Alliance. Hordes of Mobile Dolls screened the ships belonging to the various forces under the umbrella of Oz. Not that Logos wasn't using the Federations to enact its cleansing actions against those they viewed as impure.
"Likely going to turn on one another when Trieze is finished…"
He knew the man well enough, having crossed blades with him on more than one occasion. Though the fact that man was even still tied to the Earth spoke more of his will to try and keep LOGOS in check then any alliance with OZ.
He watched as flocks of Nemos and Dagger Ls accompanied by several Mass Produced Gundams guarded Psycho and Destroy Gundams as they waded towards Colonies in a bid to board the Colonies to cause mass slaughter now that their Nukes had started being intercepted.
From across the field of war, the combined might of ZAFT and Zeon both worked to repel the invaders while the intimidating forms of LIBRA, GENESIS, and AXIS drew closer towards the fighting. He should have been amongst his countrymen; he should have been fighting at the head of the AXIS himself. Yet that bastard La Creuset had managed to poison his own people against him. Such as the madness that had swept Zeon after Zaft's madness infected their own soldiers. Forced out under fire by those he had led and his goals usurped by one who would see them all dead rather then just those of earth.
He turned his mobile suit's head to the left as a voice echoed over his com system.
"Took you long enough Old Man."
He watched as the RX-93 ν Gundam came rushing from the Eternal even as a blade of ebony burst through an Atlantic Federation Psycho Gundam's Chest and dragged down. Even now, ships from the Federations and Mobile suits are no doubt being redirected to intercept the fleet massing on the flank of both combatants. The Hell Scythe was still a gundam that drew some shivers from the man that had escaped death so often. Cloaking. A horrifying concept.
"I am only here to deal with the head of the snake before taking control of this madness. I may hate the earthers, but this is beyond what I wished for."
He grumbled, even as Amuro paid him no attention and sped towards the large collection of Federation vessels pushing towards a Colony. He smiled though, watching as the Zero Gundam let loose its main weapon, reducing a dozen Nemos, Dagger Ls, Windams, and Taurus. Though this only seemed to incite more interest in them.
The Three Nations forces were made up of the remainder of Orbs space forces after the nation fell, some of those smaller such as the Scandinavian Navy, and assorted vessels from the forces fighting currently before them. Centered around the Eternal, Archangel, and the Dominion, following its capture and boarding by the Mercenary Group, Sons of Fenrir. PMCs, to think they would sink so low as to utilize them.
The Ace of Zeon smiled though as his consol would begin beeping, detecting a pair of signatures. Given the fact that most nations used Minofsky Engines or Battery powered, the unique signatures of Nuclear Reactors was enough to send a feral grin to his face as he hailed the Eternal, ignoring the various others, focusing on Lacus Clyne. The two had met many times in the past at one time due to the ties within both Zeon and ZAFT.
In many ways, he knew he was leaving things well in her hands, the next generation had promise. Given the likes of her, Athrun, and Kira.
"I've detected Nuclear Powered Mobile Suits. If I had to take a guess, I found Treize and Rau Le. I will be taking my leave; I have unfinished business with the madman orchestrating the extinction of mankind after all."
The pinkette would breathe once, before nodding her head.
"You never fulfilled your promise you made to my father Char. So I ask only this of you. Come back. I'd love to hear more stories about my father and the other Deikuns."
Say what you want about ZAFT, the Clyne Faction proved itself to be moderates and people that he found himself liking, they had the best plan for going forward for those in space. Perhaps if they were in charge of Zeon, he might have never dealt with the Zabi Family. He actually had spoken with her father on more than one occasion. It was a shame the man was dead, he did so enjoy their debates.
"With pleasure. My father always spoke highly of yours, and I can see why."
The Sazabi would turn, thrusters igniting as he turned off the Suit's primary systems to ensure maximum velocity across the killing zone.
As it was during the One Year War, the scream of a bright red light could be seen as it streaked between and around the combat zone, leaving wreckage of both Earther and the Insane of ZAFT in the wake as it streaked towards a physical eye of the storm, where two other mobile suits danced, and two legends traded words.
The End War had officially begun.
Yes this is a Side Story, set during the End War involving all three sides. A culmination of the stories of several Gundam settings, such as Seed, Char's Counter, and the ending to Wing to name some. As with A Metal Guardian, this will involve more forces then are canonically present due to the scale of all sides fighting.
To Summerize, the fighting began as it did at the end of Season 1 of Seed, though in this iteration, Destiny and Seed's endings have been fused into one on account of the Atlantic Federation gaining access to the Schematics of the Psycho Gundams to produce their own Destroy Gundams.
This story will focus only on three combatants with three chapters, culminating in a final 4th chapter.
Please Read and leave a Review! I hope i got Char's characterization here down. I know how he feels about the Zabis, but I can't help but think him and the Clynes would have likely gotten along. Sure I could have seen him setting Zaft and Zeon against one another until the Zabis were dead, but I truly think he cared about the well-being of the Spaceanoids, including Coordinators. To this end I could see him favoring the Clynes before the administration of Arthrun's father came to power. Plus finding out what Le Creuset had planned likely pushed him towards siding with the Three Nations Alliance.
