Chapter 12
Eddy propped the sippy cup upwards, as he fed Sailor her milk. "I love you, coochie". "Can I have a kissy?". Eddy asked, kindly. Sailor nodded, as Eddy wiped her cheeks with a baby wipe, and kissed both of her cheeks. "So…for your first escapade with this macho man, I was thinking maybe, let him pay for the ice cream, then, let him decide which flavor you want…well, you can decide if you want, but let him lead, then for a conversation topic…tell a joke, tell a funny story, and maybe discuss how good he looks, that always makes us guys feel appreciated, definitely thank him afterwards, and tell him how good it is….and when it comes around to it, listen when he talks". "Us guys…we have a lot to say….and it's always good for a girl to listen". "We do have a lot to say….though, it doesn't seem like it". "We love to hear compliments, and advice…so, yeah, just be yourself, and listen to him….especially if he's older than you". "He's in charge…well, that's the one rule you have with us, anyway". Eddy said, kindly. "So, yep…your big bro's got it covered". "You both might be a little young to be out there by yourselves….it's up to you…but….want me to stay by just to keep an eye out?". Eddy asked, gently.
"That sounds good". Sailor said. Eddy smiled a kind smile. "Whatever you need, honey". "You are so good to me….give me a kiss". Eddy whispered, kindly, lowering his cheeks. "Right here". Eddy suggested, pointing to a spot. Sailor kissed his cheek. Eddy smiled as he chuckled. "Later, goosey goo's going to feed you some yogurt with cheerios mashed up in it". "You used to eat those all of the time". Eddy said, gently with kindness. "At our house when you were a baby baby". "You used to eat Goosey goo's yogurt that he had all picked out just for you". Eddy said, kindly. Sailor nodded. "I have some yogurt picked out for coochie in my fridge right now". I said, gently, as I uncrossed my legs, tapping ash from my cigarette. "Ready to eat some yogurt, coochie?". "Cuddly bear's got a perfect one for you, coochie coo". I rubbed the stub of my cigarette into the ashtray. "Let's go inside and get some". "First, give cuddly a kiss". "Right here on my left cheek". I said, kindly. Sailor walked towards me, as she gave me a kiss on my cheek. "Thank you, coochie". "You have such camaraderie towards your big brother". "It is greatly acknowledged". I said, kindly. Sailor and I walked inside, as I peeled the top off of a yogurt container.
Eddy went ahead, and wiped Sailor's cheeks with a baby wipe, while I opened her yogurt, collecting some on a spoon. I spoonfed her some, ensuring that she swallowed, while Eddy and I massaged her shoulders. Sailor ate more yogurt, swallowing nicely, as she ate more. "You're doing so good, coochie coo". "Your big brother is so proud of you…you are just so amazing…I love spending time with my baby". I whispered, kindly. Sailor nodded, eating more. As she ate, some dribbled from her chin. "Oh no….one fell". "Let cuddly pick that up for you". I said, kindly. Sailor nodded, as I wiped her chin. Sailor ate some of her yogurt, and when she was finished, she drank her milk.
"Look at just how cute she is….isn't she precious?". Eddy said, kindly with seductive, sultry allure. "She is so precious….I love her face, and her eyes….she's just our baby sister". "We love her". I said, kindly. Eddy nodded.
"There she is…drinking her milky bye". Eddy whispered, kindly. "She is, and she looks magnanimous". I said, gently. "She is so cute…I want to bottle her up, and use her on my nipples". "And sausage". Eddy said, alluringly as he bursted out laughing. We all knew what he meant.
Little Sailor's eyes looked fragile as she glanced up at us, with the essence of a trier. She was ready for bed. "Ready to go to bed, coochie?". "Cuddly has a bedtime chart of the periodic table waiting for us upstairs". I said, gently. Sailor nodded, as she buried her head in my lap. "Coochie, you look like you want to snuggle buggle". "Let's head to bed, and we'll snuggle, baby". I said, kindly. Sailor nodded, as she and I headed into the bedroom. She snuggled close to me…as I went ahead, and massaged her cheeks, her nose, and doused her with kisses. But before that, I made sure to give her her medicines….her heart medicine, her stomach medicine, and her thyroid medicines. And an extra sleeping pill so she would sleep comfortable in my bed. I snuck it into her yogurt. Seems underhanded, but…we do what we need to do to care for the less fortunate. In any case, we slept….just fine. That's it. Zzzzzz…..
We woke up later, as Sailor glanced around, seeing me, snuggling close to her. I got closer and closer to her, kissing her cheeks. "Mmmm….mmm, darling….oh baby….oh". I whispered, in an effectual ramble, as I snuggled even closer to Sailor. Funny thing was…I wasn't even dreaming about Nazz….which is what I led everyone reading to believe. Hmm….did you believe that, reader? I'm sure you may have.
The clock read 3:11 am, as I got up, and stretched to my stomach rumbling. In my grogginess, I stirred awake, glancing at the clock. There was an element of darkness that seemed to pierce through the light. Still, I managed to get up, slinking out of bed, as I stretched, coughing a smoker's cough. Going outside, I lit a cigarette, while the orange-yellow light of the lighter flame touching the tip of the cigarette glowed. "Mmm". I mumbled, as I smoked, delicately.
Someone seemed to join me on the porch, someone who had been smoking as well. Eddy was outside…smoking his cigarette. "Well, it is pretty nice….y'all set a new record…sleeping until 3". "Widowers…always being a grandpa in a sense". Eddy said, as he chuckled a bit. I nodded. "You've called me that since we were kids….now, it actually makes sense". I said, as I smoked. Eddy nodded, as he tapped ash from his cigarette. "Being widowed….how nice is it now that you have your freedom?". "You must not miss Michelle after how she treated you". "Those years". Eddy said, plaintively in a slow, mundane, yet tone that drew parallels to a realistic measure depicting our love life. Michelle's and mine.
"She and I have had our queries…every once in a while". I said. "I remember she took out a second mortgage on the house…didn't even ask me…or consult our current financial status….she just sort of…did it as a measure of doing it". "In essence, for one to truly do something stupid, they have to be sneaky in a way". "Michelle was both of those things…if not anything more or less".
Eddy nodded. "Why didn't you divorce her?". Eddy asked. "I didn't think I needed to…divorce is a strong word, to be exact". "What we had was special….and somehow, the good outweighs the bad, in the colloquial sense". "She and I had a fruitful marriage…the sex was good, the conversations were amazing, we had a connection like no one else I knew". "She was a wonderful woman". I said. "One night, we had our moment of pillow talk after we just had sex…I was great, by the way…and she and I talked about our finances…we agreed to share everything equally". "Split it both ways". I said. "She was someone that talked a lot….made promises, and always kept them". "Regardless of what they were, exactly". "Yes, she may've been a bit frivolous….yet she was always regarding exactly what others needed". I explained. "She was caring in that way….altruistic…but…mm, she was a good wife…we had a healthy marriage". I muttered this last part in a healthy casual manner.
"My late wife, Alesa, cheated on me partway through our marriage". "She had an affair with another man, and never even told me about it". Eddy muttered. "It was odd, but I smelled her, and smelled his cologne on her….I was livid, but I never confronted her about it". "I would've divorced her….but she didn't do anything…really…she seemed sweet enough".
"Mmm". I nodded. "Your marriage wasn't a happy one?". I rubbed part of my cigarette into some ash, smoking it still. "It was happy enough on the surface….but she was just….a lot to handle, colloquially". "She was always frivolous, always irresponsible, she talked more than she liked to think….she was one of those girls….and I didn't like her friends….her friends were always high, or drunk most of the time". "She was a bitch sometimes….never used her head for anything….women are so disgusting….she said to me once…is it alright if we have an open marriage". "I'm like….what's the purpose of that, if commitment is to one person, and you take vows". "She was so thoughtless". Eddy muttered in a growl. "The way she opened her legs to other men….who am I, then?". "I'm perhaps chopped liver to her". Eddy tapped ash from his cigarette.
"Mmm, so her passing was….something that freed you in an element, then, hmm?". I muttered, as I smoked. "It was freeing because divorce to me is expensive….and embarrassing". "At least, widowhood is a decree that allows people to feel bad for you…but at the same time, you get that somehow, physically unwarranted freedom…I say, physically because spiritually we've been anticipating it". "but…I'd move on if I found someone". "Mmm, I need a woman that's smart, committed, sexually propense, and just….is right on par with me". "I just….need a woman, that's it". "I found this physicist at a coffee shop, she's smart, dignified, very traditional in her methods, very honest, very hilarious….she's a wonderful woman to have a conversation with….but she's uncomfortable with sex, and intimacy". "She has Autism, or whatever…she's widowed as well". "She's very educated, but she has the interests of a little girl…which is strange". "I'm like…..no….". Eddy muttered, as he kept his tongue in his cheek.
"Hmm, I've had things for women like that". I muttered. "I like mine educated, smart, bright, a wonderful provider and moneymaker, but….some of mine had Autism, and have never had sex…I'm not the kind to get them from their comfort zone….but….they need sex…their…well…you know". I mouthed some pretty disgusting things to Eddy in our privacy. They're not for you to hear right now, reader.
Someone else joined us on the porch. His heeled shoes clicked as he walked. We knew him very well, and you might know him as well, reader. That is, if you've watched Powerpuff Girls. Remember Ace from the Gangreen Gang? He came to join the conversation as well. Ace is….well, he shared some details as well.
"Hey, boyos….yous smokin' some?". Ace asked, as he sat down, lighting a cigarette. "We just might be". I said, as I smoked my cigarette. "Yeah, I heard what yous said about your ladies…man, they are naive, doesn't it seem so?". Ace said, as he brought the cigarette to his lips. Smoke trailed up from our cigarettes as they sat in the ashtrays.
"What are your credentials with them?". I asked, as I smoked my cigarette. "I was married to one…still am, she doesn't know this…but….I up, and cheated on her, got another one pregnant while she was sick one year". "She still doesn't know I did that….man, she is definitely stupid". Ace said, as he smoked. "Women are pretty naive….were you widowed at all?". Eddy asked. "Nah, but I got some widows preggers, and they….they're nice to take advantage of, really". Ace said. "They usually look atcha with them big eyes, and their hair, they give ya the business, but they do their thing….they love reminiscing about their late husbands, or their families…it's the worst when they have kids, though". Ace remarked. "Mmm, baggage". Eddy muttered. "I dated someone with kids…I acted all nice, and sweet around them, but….in reality, I was all like…nah, fuck your kid". Eddy tapped ash from his cigarette. "But I loved getting in her pants".
"Yeah, but you get the lady in bed, you get her all nice, and laid out, ya set her down, then ya give her the business". "Trust me, I've done that, and my wifey still doesn't know". Ace remarked. "You are the dude". "Slay the poon, get her pushed up til she moans". Eddy remarked, as he smoked. Sailor came outside, as she looked at us…she held her blanket close.
We acknowledged her a few times…but she stayed and listened…to her big brothers, talk. "You know…I've recently gotten Nazz pregnant". I remarked, as I smoked. "My man…you're wearin' those briefs, you're slayin the poon, look atcha with those shorts on, my man". Ace said, wolf whistling. "Yep". I muttered. I tapped ash from my cigarette.
"Nazz and I were having sex many times….I slayed the poon a few times…then, I went upwards, and around, and soon enough, she checked the test, and she was pregnant". I said, as I tapped ash from my cigarette. "Mmm, you thinking about marryin' her anytime soon?". Ace asked. "Not really". I muttered. "This might remain a secret, I know my parents will be livid if they found out…but…I do what I need to in order to keep quiet". "Nazz…she was pretty upset when she found out…but…she wasn't that bad…we agreed to stay together, raise the baby, and see what happens". "Marriage might happen….who knows…but…I'm not looking to do it again". I muttered. "I had a magical, wonderful, sagacious, sapiential, truly gregarious time being married once…mmm…marriage is…odd". I smoked my cigarette.
Sailor looked at Ace. "How many women have you been with so far?". Sailor asked. "I'd say, I been with a couple….quite a few, in fact". Ace remarked. "Women are…something else…but…my decisions aside…I been with women".
Sailor nodded. "I haven't been with anyone yet…but…it's something else". Sailor said. Ace licked his lips a bit. "Well, baby coochie, you are still young, yet". "You are still a baby….you've got some time to do some things". "Man, what you need is a weekend with me". "We'll get you some beer, you can swear as much as you like, you can hang with your best bud". Ace said, as he laughed. I shook my head, rolling my eyes. "No". I muttered.
"She'll hang with me, and we'll talk biochemistry, and historical figures, and such". "She doesn't need to drink beer yet, she's only 9". I remarked. "Besides, she doesn't like the taste of alcohol….she likes tea, with a bit of lemon in it, isn't that right, coochie?". I said, gently. Sailor nodded. "Man, you're no fun". Ace said, as he stuck out his tongue.
Sailor looked around as she drank from her sippy cup. "Darling, coochie…did we wake you up?". I asked, kindly with gentleness. "I know we make the effort to be discreet, but we usually are loud". I smiled a kind smile.
"No, I was out here listening the whole time". Sailor said. "I heard that Eddy's wife, Alesa cheated on him, and that she was stupid". Sailor looked around. "Yes, baby well…that's our secret we share, ok?". "Please don't tell anyone I told you….especially your aunt…she will never forgive me". Eddy said, kindly. "You know we have our secrets, as your big brothers….we share some stuff with you". "Don't tell anyone coochie, ok?".
Sailor nodded. "I won't". She promised. "Thank you, coochie coo". "I'm so happy I can trust a smart, dignified, honest person such as you". "You know you're my heroine, my knightess in shining armor". Eddy said, gently. "I would be nowhere without you". Eddy smiled a charismatic, sly, cunning smile….with his lips covering part of his whitened teeth, and grin that only a greasy, sleazy, swollen, spoiled sore such as he would have.
"You know I dreamt about you, coochie". I said, kindly with gentleness. I smiled a gentle, cunning, yet alluring, seductive smile as well. "That's why I was mumbling in my sleep". "Oh baby…baby….baby". "Something like that". I said, gently.
"What happened in the dream?". Sailor asked. My lips curved into a charismatic smile as they twitched. "Well, I was naked, and I was sitting on a rock, and somehow, you were my knightess, and you came in on a white horse, you saved me…took off your armor to reveal a nightgown, and a halo around your head…and I, felt something….I had an orgasm in my dream….the magic bullet…and I just smiled, and began kissing you all over…I was a lovesick, cartoon weasel. I just….became so enticed, that I….just couldn't handle myself….and I kissed your cheek, and cuddled you….and I just felt…so magical because….I had my heroine, and best friend beside me". "Then, I woke up….and…I just felt so happy, and good". "I knew my best friend needed me…so I tried pulling you close". "But you kept moving". "It was a nice dream". "That was a nice, long sleep that I had". I said, kindly.
Sailor nodded. "I had a nice dream too, about Johnathon and I…eating ice cream". Sailor said. "Ooooo!". The guys and I said in unison as we giggled. "...ok". Sailor replied.
"Tell us what that was about". "Was it a romantic dream?". Eddy asked, kindly. "Yeah, did you and he, kiss?". Ace asked.
"No, we didn't do anything like that…but…we did eat ice cream and talk". Sailor said. "Johnathon and I…we're best friends…and…he's a year older than me".
"Oooo, an older man". "Someone that can open the door for you, give your cheeky a little kissy, and buy you ice cream". "He sounds profoundly amazing". Eddy said, gently. "He is pretty nice…he was born in 1991, and I was born in 1992, so…he is older, but he was put with us because…of the gifted program he's in". Sailor said. "He sounds so good, coochie". "Keep him close…because he's an amazing man". "One day, you'll have your first kiss". "When that happens, remember, he will come looking for love….if you're not sure, just take a deep breath, and allow it to happen". I advised, kindly.
"You're in the classes with older kids too because you're accomplished with school". I said, kindly. "That is so lovely…my coochie coo knows how to behave around older kids, remember, you have to act older, and be well-behaved…maturity and intellect go hand in hand". "Besides, you never know what older kids' temperament is like". I said, gently.
"Yeah, kids can be terrible". "I got into fights with older kids all the time". Ace replied. "Sailboat gets along with everyone, though". I said, kindly. "She likes to act mature, have dignified conversations, she likes to be friendly, she's amazing with that….in every way". I smiled a kind smile. "Yeah, she definitely is". Eddy said, kindly. "She's a baby girl, still". I said, kindly. "And you know, coochie….you're my favorite person….ever". I smiled another charismatic smile behind my cigarette. "I am?". Sailor asked.
"You, are much better than Nazz will ever be…and better than my dumb parents will ever be". "Even better than Michelle". I said, gently in a sultry, alluring, gentle, loving voice that radiated with charisma, and the magical, sonorous disposition of affection.
"I am?". "Wow, thank you…that means quite a lot in that case". Sailor said. "Don't tell anyone I've said that…well, they know how much I love you, and that you are my favorite…but no need to tell them you're better…trust me, they will become vexed at that". I said, gently. "And Nazz definitely doesn't need to hear it with the mood she's in". "This is one of our many secrets". I smiled a kind smile.
"You can trust me". Sailor replied. "Thank you, lovey". "You are so good to me". I said, gently. I smiled a gentle smile…blowing Sailor some kisses. Sailor caught them, as she and I laughed.
"Mmm, my hips are acting up again". "Man, it's getting harder and harder to walk….I might need to see about getting them replaced". I said, as I yawned, stretching. "My hips are bad as well". "I might need….surgery or something". Eddy said, as he yawned. "Yeah, you old men!". Ace remarked, as we all laughed.
"Alright, well, I'm going back to bed in case anyone needs me". I muttered, as I stood up, stretching. "Ready, coochie?". I asked Sailor, gently.
"I am definitely ready". Sailor replied, as she got up….Sailor was still bundled in her swaddle. "Let's go back to bed, coochie coo". I said, kindly. Sailor and I got up, as I picked Sailor up in my arms…carrying her to bed. "Sounds good". Sailor said. We went back to bed, as I snuggled close to my coochie coo. She was comfortable…and so was I.
But before I went to bed, I talked with Eddy about my dream. "Was it a sex dream, you had about Sailor…or…even if not….did it feel like one?". Eddy asked, in secret, as our silhouettes were shown. "It did, and it definitely was….but It was….pleasant…mmm, yes". I replied.
"You do know that that kind of makes you creepier right?". Eddy mentioned. "Yes, but….I won't tell her that…she doesn't know what that is". I replied. "Hmm, keep it a secret". Eddy said, as he laughed. "Yes, definitely". I replied. And I'll keep it a secret between you and I as well, reader.
