It's a lovely day in Strawberryland, and today we find Huckleberry Pie doing one of his favorite things: napping and fishing at lemonade lake.

"Nothin' beats a good old day of doin' nothin'!" Huckleberry stretched and let out a long satisfying yawn. Suddenly an unexpected rustle in the grass disrupted his quiet retreat. "Who's there?" He called out as he lowered his fishing rod. Suddenly a small blue girl with blue hair and a blue expression on her face came out of the tall grass. It was Blueberry Muffin!

"Oh it's you, Blue." "Hi, Huckleberry." She said with a timid wave as she sat down next to him. "Are you fishing?" "Well I'm not holdin' this fishing rod over the water to make a cake or anything." He responded rather drily, closing his eyes to return to his nap. Blueberry blushed in embarrassment at how obvious her question was. "Right, how silly of me!" Blueberry had a favor to ask of Huckleberry, but now she was almost too flustered to go through with it. She took a deep breath, gathered herself, and pressed on.

"Could you teach me?" "How to fish?" He responded, lazily opening one eye. "Y-yeah." Huckleberry let out a deep sigh. "I don't really feel like doin' stuff today. Today's and nothin' doin' day." He adjusted himself in his grassy spot and closed his eyes again. Blueberry let out a half-defeated sigh, it was going to take some convincing to get this lazy boy to help her out.

Maybe flattery would do the trick, she thought! "But you're the best at fishing! If anyone knows anything about how to catch a good swedish fish, it's you." "That's real sweet of you to say that I'm any good at this, but I still don't feel like doin' nothin'." Well, that didn't work. Maybe a little bribery would convince him. "I'll make you a yummy batch of blueberry scones if you teach me." Huckleberry thought about it for a moment. "I still have scones left over from that picnic we had a couple days ago. No thanks."

Now Blueberry was running out of ideas and she started to feel a little bad. Maybe she was never going to get Huckleberry to teach her how to fish. She hugged her knees close and sat still for a moment while Huckleberry quietly continued to enjoy his nap. A long moment passed as a soft breeze blew by, gently tugging at the string of Huckleberry's fishing rod. Maybe there was no other way around it. Maybe she should just tell him the truth. She shut her eyes tightly and took a deep breath still holding her knees. "The reason I want you to teach me is because Raspberry Tart was being mean and told me I couldn't do it." This caught Huckleberry's attention and he glanced back over at Blueberry Muffin. "She said that?" He asked. "Yes. I told her I wanted to catch some swedish fish to make swedish fish jumbo gelatin, and she said I couldn't catch a swedish fish to save my life! When I told her I probably could if I really tried, she laughed and said I'm a ninny if I think I could catch a swedish fish. That's why I wanted to ask for your help, so I can prove her wrong and show her that I can do it."

Huckleberry pie grumbled with a little annoyance at his tart friend. "Raspberry Tart should really learn to be more careful with her words. She could hurt someone's feelings real bad. Okay, I'll help you. I'll show you how to catch the sweetest swedish fish in lemonade lake so that you can make the best swedish fish jumbo gelatin ever and show Raspberry Tart that she shouldn't doubt what you or anybody can do." "Oh thank you, Huckleberry! Thank you berry much!"

And that's just what they did! With Huckleberry's help, Blueberry Muffin caught a grand batch of swedish fish and made the most delectable swedish fish jumbo gelatin ever seen in Strawberryland. Raspberry apologized and never doubted Blueberry's ability again. And to this day, Blueberry Muffin will stop by Lemonade Lake from time to time to join her dear friend Huckleberry Pie for a quiet afternoon of napping and fishing.
