I sighed and took a deep breath. 'Quickly and quietly, quickly and quietly,' I continued to tell myself as I readjusted the towel around my shoulders and gripped the handle. I creeped the door open slowly, checking my surroundings, before stepping out. I briskly began to walk down the hallway- my wet feet making slapping noises as I did. Suddenly though, the noises got louder, and heavier- prompting me to turn around, and face-plant into a strong, broad chest. "Guaft-" I stepped back and spit out cotton balls. "Who the hell-" I opened my eyes, and froze. There stood a half-naked Megumi Fushigoro, glaring down at me while wiping off his chest. "Excuse you," He said, brushing past me. "I-I'm sorr-" I flinched as he suddenly spun around, and began to walk towards me. He covered my mouth with his strong and scarred hand. "Shut up." He adjusted his towel before removing his hand and wiping it off swiftly. As he turned around to leave though, I followed him. Megumi paused for a moment before continuing his walk, but this time, he was chuckling. I watched him leave, my heart pounding, feeling embarrassed. With a small smile, I looked down at the ground. 'Wow…'

When we reached the second showering room, silence filled the air. Though, I was satisfied. Besides- at least he wasn't violent this time. I silently did what I had come for, which was to retake my shower in here, since the other showering room had run out of soap. I lathered my body, considering starting a conversation. Though, I flinched as I heard Megumi's voice ring out in the room next to me. "I don't hate you, you know." My heart stopped at his words. "I..." I struggled to find the right words, yet he cut me off. "Ever since that day... I was caught up by my anger and sadness, I didn't even consider the fact that you really did try, and that it was just a really big mistake. I'm sor..." I stayed quiet and let the cold water run over my face fluidly as I waited for him to finish. "..I'm... I'm sore from all that training, and thought that a good cold shower would help, as it always does. But, I just..." I heard his water stop running, and he sighed. "I kn-" "I'm sorry for rambling." I quickly turned off my water and wrapped the towel around myself, stepping out and holding my hand into the air. "Wait, Fushiguro-" Yet I sighed in despair as I realized that he had already left, and the door slowly closed behind him. "As quick as the fish is caught..." I leaned against the wall, feeling the coldness of the air and the warmth of the towel attached to my hips. I took a deep breath. I was determined to be strong. One day, I'll prove them all wrong...
